because i’ve been thinking about those media/e-mail styled fics, i want to try my hand at it (three guesses for what, the first two don’t count), and some assorted comments re: That Whole Thing

at some point i gotta look at the books again to get a handle on the common misspellings the boys use. no reason

...do teachers regularly use emails back in late 90s. how ubiquitous is the home computer. sure, i can fudge the timeline to a little later a la tetocu, but i really like the late 90′s as an anchor point, so late 90′s with mild anachronisms it will stay because otherwise it would just be anthrope and maybe krupp. maybe ill add a few points about fax

because of how i decided to format the email name format for the jhes staff (first two letters of the first name, followed by the full last name), i get extremely good names like “taribble @ [pending address for jhes/or i guess, the piqua school board)”

(krupp’s name still works punwise-- bekrupp-- “be corrupt”)
