in defense of padawan haircuts: do ewan and hayden both have lovely hair that is part of what makes them ever so beautiful? yes. but padawans are monks in training so they're not supposed to be fuckable treats for the eye. they have funky hair that marks them as members of their order!! awkward, uncool, unlovely haircuts that make them look like dork ass home-schooled losers. their silly braids advertise the length of time they've studied as a proxy for their deepening commitment to the order and mastery of the jedi arts!! they have a stubby lil nerf tail because it's traditional and tradition is sometimes awkward (and idk some cultures actually enjoy hair in that style!! they're not supposed to look like usamericans maybe) and like.. the order also maybe doesn't want its baby jedi to be fashionable trend setters with glossy flowing locks for good reason!! look what happened when anakin was too pretty!! he was so fuckable it broke the system and ruined his life and the entire fuckin galaxy, maybe the council should have made his haircut worse. his hair should have been so deeply tragic it distracted padmé from his sharp jaw and pouty lips. obi-wan should have completely nuked his charisma stat from orbit before shipping him away to naboo (his game was already terrible, so he was halfway there!! just make him terrible to look at too!!) sexy hair needs to be earned with knighthood, once they know you're truly committed to the jedi way. curls and mullets are a privilege not a right!! the padawan haircut is like training wheels for non-attachment, like.. leave them alone!! their brains aren't done cooking yet. their hair is so bad it's good, just like the prequels ok. i'm bleeding out on this hill but you. Cannot make me leave

TOONTOWN HEADCANON/LORE POSTING
This post is based around TTCC, and is entirely about headcanons I have about Suits/Cogs, mostly about their physiology, how they're created, etc. I might write more at some point. (Also I am sorry if this is extremely long and incoherent, I tried to at least break it up into sections with big titles and colored text)
What are Suits?
Suits are a “race” or “species” of robotic beings within the world of Toontown.
The ones seen within the game are Cogs, which is simply what employees of C.O.G.S. Inc. are called. Other businesses may have a similar naming formula, a different one, or none at all. (e.g: S.C.R.E.W. Ltd calling their employees Screws)
Considering that the world that Toontown is in, is in fact a cartoon/cartoonish world, this would by technicality make Suits a type of Toon. (I believe the term "Toon" to just be the characters that exist within that cartoony world or whatever) Therefore. they are still bound to the same wacky physics that Toons are, though they do not always interact with it in the same way. Think of it as two different kinds of cartoons interacting and living in the same world.
Toons would be more akin to rubberhose ish/Mickey Mouse/Ducktales style compared to whatever the Suits would be like, though that doesn’t mean the Suits don’t have some of those properties as well.
Most Suits probably wouldn’t even know what a Toon is, since they are scarce throughout the world, and the ones seen in the game are isolated within the area they live in.
Life Details (Organs, Sustenance, Etc)
Suits are very much like humans (which do not exist in this world). They have distinct lives, personalities, traits, desires, etc.
Unlike humans, they do not typically die of old age, though they can begin to weaken and die because of SIDE EFFECTS of ageing without maintenance that is usually easily attainable. Because of this, many Suits live for a long, long time. There is still a bit of a limit though.
Suits cannot catch viral or bacterial illnesses, (I mean obviously they're robots) but can get sick from overexertion, overexposure to temperatures they aren’t built to withstand, or physical damage. In very rare cases, malware can be an issue.
They have “organs” within their bodies, and require sustenance to survive. They CAN eat “normal” food, though more often than not their food would be stuff like coal, oil, paper, metal, etc. Stuff that vaguely resembles human food but is made of stuff like what I mentioned.
Their “blood” (if they have any) would likely be some form of fluid, or pure electricity in some cases. Nearly all would not cry or sweat the same fluid as their “blood”, as the human parallel would be crying or sweating blood, and that's just no. (Think how people sometimes draw robots as having oil blood, yet also crying that same oil) Much like how the human body has more fluids within it rather than just blood.
Some Suits may use “alternative” sustenance, such as plugging themselves into outlets or using other means to absorb pure electricity, though not every Suit can do this. Suits who can do this are rare, and a special kind of physiology is needed for this to be done without short circuiting themselves/otherwise hurting themselves.
Suits do not produce waste in the way humans do, other than sweat and tears.
Their brains are like processor chips. Though most Suits have to learn information like how humans do, some Suits have the special ability to simply upload and download data like a traditional computer. Suits who can do this are also rare, for similar reasons as the chargeable ones.
Despite this, all Suits can have everything stored in their chips stored in real time to databases in the event that they perish or are irreparably destroyed, to be transferred into a new body. Despite this, it may not be the most common technology, and may be costly, so Suits still try to preserve their lives and bodies. The Cogs have this technology. How they're able to keep it up for so many Suits is a bit of a mystery. Something fishy's going on, probably...
Sleep/Rest
Most Suits have to sleep in a way similar to how humans do. They must get a healthy amount of rest. Stuff like insomnia and restlessness still exists for most Suits. It is necessary in order to preserve energy, prevent exhaustion, the wearing down of their parts, as well as being a quick way to cool off.
Just like humans, it is not necessary to have a bed to sleep, but it has the same benefits for Suits as it does for humans, though it's a bit more likely to see Suits falling asleep on the floor/standing up than it would be for humans.
While asleep, a Suit is merely unconscious, but they still function, much like humans. Same thing with comas and being unconscious.
If their processes are completely stopped, they will die. However, Suits can last a lot longer with their processes completely stopped, compared to humans, as they aren’t biological, and won’t rot or whatever if that happens to them. If they can be reactivated, and their vitals weren’t excessively damaged, they can be resuscitated.
Suits that can absorb electricity do not NEED to sleep, as they can merely be charged back to full power. These Suits may or may not choose to sleep anyways, and may gain the other benefit from it, aside from energy regeneration.
Injuries
Suits have to be maintained to keep themselves functional and clean. Especially when they get injured. They are unable to naturally heal in the way humans can. (Maybe some can with nanotech or whatever but that's getting into extremely sci-fi ish territory which isnt bad but I don't wanna go too in depth/thoughtful about that kind of thing, especially since a lot of things are possible in a cartoon world like this one)
Minor injuries like small cuts, scratches and dents are easy to repair, to the point where it can be done manually.
Sort of like how first aid kits/bandages/etc are sold at pharmacies. Literally just patch yourself up with polishing kits/anti dent/spare parts or whatever
They can't go through healing processes like how humans do, but they're lucky since if a bone is broken or whatever, all they have to do is get it repaired and then they’re fine. (I wish it was like that for US!!!)
More severe injuries may require healthcare and/or more surgical reparations. Severe injuries are able to debilitate or even kill Suits if they’re bad enough. Injuries like gashes are still easy to fix, but stuff like loss of limbs is harder. In the case of limb loss, a replacement can be made to fit that Suit, typically within a few days.
Internal injuries and extreme damage to inside circuitry and vitals may take longer to fix, but are still way easier to fix than with humans, for obvious reasons. Too much will kill the Suit, though :/
Life Details (Physique)
They are more often than not humanoid in appearance, though some Suits may have extra limbs or proportions less akin to those of humans. Some may not even be humanoid at all, like being centaurs or whatever, though said Suits are extremely rare. Some may be semi-humanoid, like the Cog Bosses. Suits may receive surgery of sorts to change body type, though it would be difficult to change a 10 cm tall Suit into a 20 ft tall Suit, for instance. There are limits, and crossing them adds extra risk of dying/ending up with psychological damage.
While most Suits have a discernible face, mouth, eyes, and have the usual set of limbs, some may not have a face, or have a face that does not vaguely resemble that of a human’s. (Like how Cogs in-game range from having human-like faces, to object heads, to animal heads, etc) Some may have entirely different limbs, other than just arms and legs.
A Suit can have their face/entire head modified/changed, as well as the rest of their bodies. Some may want to get entirely new heads, though many tend to get attached to the one they already have. Think of it sort of like plastic surgery and actual surgery, except to a more extreme degree. Despite this, there are still limits, and extensive surgery may damage a Suit physically and/or mentally.
The most common type of Suits tend to range from anywhere as short as a few centimetres, to as tall as nearly 20 ft tall, though most fall within the range of 4-9 ft tall. Obviously there's height diversity among all Suits
Some Suits may be built to be specially resistant towards things compared to others. One Suit may be built to resist extremely high temperatures, while another might legitimately just start to melt in those same temperatures.
Life Details (Psyche)
Suits are not evil by nature. The reason why such a high number of them are very pro-industrialism, pollutive, toxic towards fun, etc, is because they were conditioned to be that way because of the way their society is structured, and the needs that they need to survive.
Despite this, there are still Suits that may enjoy fun or even be Toony in nature. Some may enjoy nature, and dislike the pollutive, industrial nature their world is so full of. Toons tend to be very ignorant to Suit culture and the personality differences between Suits, and understandably so considering what it must be like from their perspective, being invaded and all. Still ain't great to be that way for obvious reasons, though. Many assume all Suits are evil and the same.
There would still be entertainment within Suitopia and other Suit cities/society, much like the many kinds that humans are familiar with.
How are Suits created?
Suits are created, most commonly within factories, though some Suits may be skilled enough, either through innate knowledge or through learned skill, to create another Suit on their own, making them the “parent”.
When a Suit is created, they awaken already having some base level knowledge of themselves and the world around them, under most circumstances. As a byproduct, “child” Suits are not really a thing. They can exist, they just typically don't. (Being born into the world as an adult must suck)
Suits can be made without a specific purpose, and that is how many are created. They will find one on their own.
Those that are made for a specific purpose will usually already know how to fulfil said purpose. For instance, being built for a specific type of job will generally cause you to be naturally skilled at it. Meanwhile, Suits who are hired for that same job without being created for it may have to learn it. They typically have a form of fondness for fulfilling said job, but may lose it over time, or not have it to begin with, which may result in wishing to pursue something else.
What are these factories like?
It depends. There are many kinds. Some factories may build the base model of the Suit, some may build only the skeleton, some may even build the entire individual, appearance and all. Some Suits are built with the purpose of serving the owner of the factory. Big variety in purpose for these factories and whatnot.
Many factories are automated, run without owners, with the sole purpose of creating new Suit life. Other factories may be owned by a company or force, such as those run by C.O.G.S. Inc.
What about all the clones of Cogs we see?
All the “Standard” Cogs (e.g: Pencil Pusher, Flunky, Cold Caller, Money Bags) are clones created with the sole purpose of serving C.O.G.S. Inc. Despite this, they are all created with their own individuality and personalities, and are all different.
They mostly identical while working for C.O.G.S. Inc. as it is a “dress code” of sorts within the company to dress and appear that way.
Their facial and body appearances may have slight/moderate differences between one another, whether it be a quirk with how they were built, or a change they chose to make. The Cogs seen in the game are all 1:1 identical because of limitations. Same goes for Skelecog skulls. (For skelecogs, an example I think of a lot is how I wish Two-Face skelecog heads were two faced as well) They typically fit the face.
They are allowed to change their appearances so long as it does not violate the “dress code”. (Still have to be able to tell what Cog they are. A Big Cheese can't get a head that is not in fact a big cheese. A Glad Hander can't make themselves look TOO much like a Hollywood, etc.)
(Speaking of Hollywoods, they're referred to as “Mr. Hollywood(s)” ingame, though they can go by Mr, Ms, Mrs, Mx, and more if they choose, or forgo having that title at all.)
Standard Cog models that appear very feminine/masculine (e.g: Mingler, Glad Hander, Corporate Raider, Name Dropper) can be the opposite gender of ““what their model would suggest””. Yes, we can have Minglers that are men, enbies, etc. They may or may not choose to slightly alter their appearance to match this.
It is possible for these creations to stop serving their creators and direct their own life. It would be inhumane (or whatever Suits call it) to create mindless drones, and not give them these opportunities.
A Cog like this could end up changing their appearance or getting an entirely new head/body to compensate for the lack of restrictions to conform to.
If you made it this far and actually read the entire thing (without scrolling by to get to the bottom instantly) I profusely apologize for putting you through this. If this catches on and you're interested, I'm open to hear your thoughts on the lore, and suggestions, whether it also be for the lore, or for a better way to format this.

Okay so... I'm not much of a theorist. I have watched Game theory for a bit, fell off when we hit the "let's apply realism to videogames" era. Got pissed at the "it's clearly NOT true but let's say it is anyway." Bits when film theory started. And then got dragged back in by the in depth dive he did with FNAF and other lore based games.
But, after some mindless scrolling reminding me of the disappointment of Monty fans (and some urges to write some NSFW Roxy stories...), I decided I'd give this a shot. Spoilers and theory under the cut.
Okay. Let's start at the beginning with Security Breach. We are introduced to Monty through story and context as one of the more aggressive animatronics. In game he lunges large distances, destroys machinery with ease and is most likely the strongest of the threats faced, outside of DJ music man.
Through the messages you can unlock we are told that Monty is Bonnie's replacement, that his claws were upgraded for him to play the bass and that his temper tantrums result in him destroying staff bots and wrecking his room. We are also told that he tends to skip shows to hang out in his own attraction instead. This, combined with Bonnie's last known location being Gator golf, sparked the theory that Monty decommissioned Bonnie. However given the revelation of Ruin saying Bonnie IS in Bonnie bowl, and seems to have been ended there, this is clearly not the case.
Speaking of Ruin. By now he's an animal, completely destroyed as he wanders around the pizza Plex, dragging himself along the ground, and launching himself at anything. He's also, surprisingly, still water proof despite the fact the entirety of his casing is gone. To those that don't like Monty? This was hilarious. To those who do? It was heartbreaking. His sense of self was completely gone. He gets fried by Cassie and that's it. He doesn't even appear in Help Wanted 2.
So what's my take on this? Well, going outside of the games and into the books, Monty didn't get angry until AFTER something called the storyteller was installed. What's the storyteller? As far as this theory is concerned it's the book version of Glitchtrap, or rather the virus making all the animatronics try to kill you. With this being the case, and with what's said in the books matching up with the messages in Security Breach. Monty didn't become rage filled until AFTER he joined the band, after he got his claws upgraded and all this being after Bonnie was decommissioned. Therefore his anger wasn't behind him attacking Bonnie, which he didn't do. So what was it?
Well let's compare him to the other affected animatronics. Chica scoffs down anything even remotely edible, requiring technicians to repeatedly clean out her gears, and Roxy locks herself in her room crying and lashes out verbally insulting anyone who gets in her way. Some have pointed out that these are all ways that someone can respond to grief over loss. However I think it's much simpler than that. These are all coping strategies, not healthy ones but they are.
Chica eats to calm down, Roxy lashes out verbally to hide her own self doubts, and Monty gets mad because at least with anger you can do something, you can attack and vent and feel alive. Hell, music man, sun and moon and even Freddy all have their own coping strategies going. DJ music man cranks the music loud, runs around and throws things. Both sides of the DCA cope by diving into their roles 200%. Sun goes happy and smiling trying to keep kids entertained and safe in one singular place while moon follows his job of making sure nobody stays awake regardless of how he comes across. He doesn't care if you're scared or insulted just go to sleep.
As for Freddy? This is more based on the books but he seems to cope in two ways. One he becomes more childish and two he becomes very protective, in the games he's willing to put himself at risk just to keep Gregory safe. Even the way he talks to Gregory in the games is more childlike then the way the other animatronics talk. The way Roxy talks to Freddy is more adult but even when talking to Vanessa Freddy doesn't seem mature. It's not until you go under the pizza Plex that Freddy seems to get more serious as the memories return to him.
But I've gotten off topic... Or have I? You see, this is a theory on WHY Monty seems to have gotten shafted but to explain that I have to explain what I think they're doing with him and, comparatively, what they're doing with all the other glamrocks. So let's move to Ruin shall we? Because, believe it or not, all the animatronics are STILL following their coping trends.
Chica is devouring food so much she has what remains of her mouth covered in cheese, garbage bags falling out of her stomach and ends up falling onto the cupcake assembly line before getting a forceful reboot and shutting down again. If you decide to reattach her voice box? She sparks up with the only word she says as "pizza!" Before shutting down again. Even her appearances in Help Wanted 2 revolve around her need to eat.
Monty, as I've stated earlier, copes with anger. In Ruin that devolved into a blind rage most likely throwing himself into any situation regardless of what it may do to him, hence why he went from dragging himself along the ground with his full casing, to being basically an endoskeleton lunging and biting at anything. He got tunnel vision and only seeks to destroy.
Prototype Freddy? Could actually be seen as still being childish and protective. When he catches you in Ruin he grabs you and tries to put you in the safety hatch where he has cake, he doesn't think of what might happen or how he appears he just tries to get you safe, unintentionally spearing you on his shattered chest plate in the process. In HW2 Freddy is oh so confident that you can help him because of course Fazbear entertainment would send someone qualified right? While also warning you that there may be some accidents should anything go wrong.
Roxy is where it gets interesting because, when Cassie first comes across her she's still trying to say she's beautiful. That she's special and her minigames in HW2 are all about trying to make her pretty while she gets angry at you for ignoring her and needs her walkie talkie to tell her how amazing she is once she's been shattered. But here's the thing, thanks to Gregory tearing out her eyes she's gotten another unhealthy coping strategy. Vengeance. Her entire demeanor changes and she charges at you full bore when her anger takes over. She's also gotten so confident getting around the pizza Plex that when she hears Gregory's voice she pounces through the double doors at full speed. She has a goal and that goal is getting her eyes back. Even when she eventually catches Cassie (canonically, all the other times you game over don't actually happen after all) she doesn't attack, she demands the return of her eyes and when Cassie gets scared she backs down. She realises she made a mistake and hurt someone she didn't mean to. She apologises. All this to say that, by giving herself a goal, Roxy managed to maintain her sense of self better than Chica and Monty when the orders to hunt Gregory left their system. They were all still suffering the main drawbacks, their coping strategies, but the worse part of the virus was gone. What happened between then and ruin they did to themselves.
So then. After all this. What's my thought on what they're doing with Monty? Why did he get screwed when Chica also suffered from a bad coping strategy that didn't improve? And, most importantly of all, what are they actually coping with?
Well, my thinking is simple. They had Monty cope by anger. They made him the most annoying animatronic to deal with (his glasses stopping you from stunning him, being the only animatronic to have a boss fight outside burntrap and even once dealt with he's still annoying because he's so low he can be missed easily and is ridiculously quick.) They framed him as the attacker of Bonnie and in Ruin they turned him into a rabid dogs there to terrify you until you get the satisfaction of electrocuting him. He was made to be the most hated animatronic through gameplay, story and design. And when he doesn't appear in Help Wanted 2 they wanted you to think "good riddance!"
Why? Because I bet they have a prequel planned for him. Something that shows his connection with Bonnie, his big brother attitude towards the kids on his golf course. Something that would connect him more with the teens. And through it all you're meant to be thinking "I'm watching you. I know what you're like. I know what you're capable of. Be wary Bonnie, he's after your job."
And then it would continue. You'd see his softer side cheering up some kids who just can't get the hang of golf. Scaring of some bullies by roaring at them. Having the time of his life on the solo stage. You'd smile, chuckle. Maybe even go. "Wow Monty? What happened to you? Why couldn't we do things like this with you in Help Wanted?" You'd slowly start to forget Security Breach and Ruin and just enjoy the time with the cool gator.
Then it would happen. There'd be whispers at first as they say Bonnie's gone missing and the shows been put on hold for a while. You'd look at Monty again only to see him worried and confused. Asking the staff what happened to his idol. Monty would be walking over the catwalks trying to remember what happened the last time Bonnie visited. Then he'd be told he'd be Bonnie's replacement. He'd resist, he loves his attraction, but he doesn't have a choice. The kids want to see the band perform after all.
So you'd see him get the upgrades, perform. See him get Bonnie's green room, hear the kids, and everyone else's, disappointment in him. Then you'd see him snap. See him tear down the posters of him and Bonnie before he trashes the rest of the room. See him destroy the staff bots that try to clean up. Then youd see him floating in the water. Twitching and sparking. And you'd say. "Oh god. What have I done?"
I think Monty is a lesson in judgement. That anger always comes from something else. Something deeper. And also that blind rage can turn you into something you aren't if you let it consume you. I think Monty is meant to be a tragic tale of someone who became a villain because he was misjudged until he couldn't take it anymore...
.... Oh. You're still reading? Oh yes. What do I think they are coping with. I did say I'd explain that as well didn't I? Well... Simply put? Being alive. The books have followed a trend of AI trying to become human. I think the glitch made the glamrocks sentient. Sure their AI was sophisticated before but they couldn't feel like they could when the glitch hit. Roxy realised she wasn't the best despite her programming saying she had to be so she was filled with self loathing. Chica was programmed as the fitness expert yet realised she doesn't have any concept of food or being full. Monty awoke feeling judged and got mad because it wasn't his fault. And Freddy? Well Freddy either got possessed by Mike early on and thus was saved by some of the existential crisis. OR his programming designating him the leader saw him recognising his friends having issues and thus he became naive to cope with the fact that everything was still okay and protective to try his best to help.

Are there humans in levianthantale? or are they just a myth/what monsters are to us?
There are!
Humans are the majority in leviathantale :D Currently there's an ongoing civil struggle to get Monsterkind better rights. Mers are actually the myths here. They currently aren't officially recognized as a separate species from Monsterkind, or even sentient.
Since they were never underground, world governments have carefully ignored Merkind outside their uses on the black market. Any sightings have been brushed off as a Monster. There are many poachers out to snatch them up to sell them off to the highest bidder. (Capturing them alive is the goal, since mers turn to sea foam when they die)
There are studies/classes, as well as protestors fighting to get Merkind officially recognized and protected.
Side note: Red and Edge are both Ocean ranger/marine biologists (specializing in the protection of merkind and defending them against poachers) They aren't personally invested in Mers actually being sentient, but the pay is good and they can kick ass w/o raising their LV. (Totally not because they have a soft spot for people struggling and a hatred for bullies, totally not)

Surge would normally have like normal sleeping habits if she had no electricity but I feel like she could go indefinitely without sleeping [like shadow] if she had access to enough energy. Which I think is basically what happened 52-56 but unlike shadow [or any other character who can go without sleep] it doesn't end well. We already know the reason she went berserk was the overload of power but I think no sleep played into that too after all starline probably wouldn't have designed surges mind to last longer than normal without sleep so she went crazy. [I love my insane girlfaliure blorbo btw.] Cause like when you are tired you like no think and then she's like also overloaded so no no think. Plus I headcanon when she gets normal tired she complains a lot.
And then there is Drippy. Kit just goes on and on and on but unlike surge I feel for the first few weeks after 56 kit would push his limits to the point where he would just pass out until surge sat him down and basically said: "You need to sleep to okay I need you more in battle than watching for badniks," or something like that. So yea after that kit would sleep whenever she does

i looooove being a Boy btw like i fw Girl occasionally still? but it's old hat. i done that for years i wanna try something else. aaaaand a lot of the time im Goodness Knows What Else Of Gender but. hot DAMN it feels great to have me some Boy Time. a Sweet Boy. a fun and flirty Handsome Boy. wrapping myself in fagginess like a blanket, like a warmth i've craved my whole life but never thought i could have for me. finding out what masculinity means from people who chose it, and who choose every day to love it and chase it and celebrate it. giving some distance to my Girl Side and letting her rest, one day i'll be able to see her anew too. i am so very many things and i will become so much and i'm everything i was before and i'm nothing like i was back then and it's so exciting just to always change and to be alive...!

THINKING ABOUT WHAT IT MEANS TO BOX YOURSELF INTO A FASHION/WHATEVER-CORE COMMUNITY AND HOW STIFLING IT HAD BEEN FOR ME.
I USED TO WANT TO BE SCENECORE. IT MADE ME DECORATE MYSELF LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. IT MADE BE TYPE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE WHO WANTS TO BE SCENECORE. IT MADE MY ART AND COLORS LOOK LIKE EVERYONE ELSE'S.
WHEN I TRIED TO MAKE ONLY SCENE ART, I STARTED TO FEEL SAD BECAUSE I FELT SO LIMITED AND PERFORMATIVE. THIS IS IRONIC BECAUSE IT SEEMS LIKE YOU CAN USE WHATEVER COLORS AND PATTERNS YOU WANT, BUT IT'S ALWAYS IN A PARTICULAR WAY THAT ENDS UP LOOKING THE SAME. I FELT LIKE A BIG FAT PHONY BECAUSE I KIND OF WAS TRYING TO BE SOMETHING I'M NOT, BUT AT THE TIME IT WAS SOMETHING I ASPIRED TO BE BECAUSE I SAW PARTS OF MYSELF AND MY CHILDHOOD NOSTALGIA IN IT.
ON THIS BLOGGING SITE I USE, I'VE SEEN LIKE 4 15 YEAR OLDS WITH THE EXACT SAME SCENECORE SOUTH PARK EDIT ICON. ITS A LITTLE IRONIC BECAUSE THAT WHOLE THING IS ABOUT BEING CRINGE AND FREE AND BEING YOURSELF AND IT APPEARS TO ME LIKE THEY ARE ALL PRESENTING THEMSELVES EXACTLY THE SAME ACTUALLY. I CAN'T EVEN TELL A LOT OF SCENE OCS/PFPS APART BECAUSE THEY ALL HAVE THE SAME DECOR.
I SAW A KID WITH INVADER ZIM EVERYTHING WHO POSTED A BLOG ENTRY LIKE "I'M SO EXCITED TO EVENTUALLY WATCH INVADER ZIM!!" I WAS LIKE, UHH, ALREADY DECORATING YOUR BLOG WITH IT WITHOUT HAVING SEEN IT AND FULLY APPRECIATING IT OR EVEN DECIDING IF YOU ACTUALLY LIKE IT...? I KNOW WHY THEY'RE USING THAT SHOW; THAT'S WHAT HOT TOPIC AND EVERY OTHER SCENE KID IS USING AS THE STAPLE OF "BEING SCENE." BUT THAT'S A KID, AND THAT'S WHAT A LOT OF KIDS DO TO FIT IN, SO IM NOT LIKE HATING ON THEM. I JUST HOPE ALL OF THEM FIND THEIR TRUE INTERESTS AND PERSONALITIES, EVEN IF THEY DON'T ALIGN WITH THE AESTHETIC. AND IF THAT KID ENDS UP LOVING THE SHOW, GOOD. ME TOO KID
YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT OF COURSE. I JUST THINK ITS ALL A BIG IRONIC MESS AND IM JUST GOING TO CONTINUE GETTING WEIRDER AND NOW THAT I FEEL THIS WAY, I'VE BEEN DISCOVERING THINGS ABOUT MYSELF THAT I COULDN'T BEFORE. I'M PRETTY HAPPY WITH IT.

Ok but what if i said Mactavish was never the sunshine of the group. what if he was still the angry and rebellious man his parents hated with such remorse. what if he was just so resentful that he’d rather die overseas than be anywhere near his childhood house and his godforsaken parents, despite their faith. what if he was so bitter that seeing someone as well-put-together and stoic as Simon made him feel so small. what if he harbored those feelings like the spare pistol he carried over his heart. and what if when Mactavish took it out on the lieutenant, complaining about how unfair it was like he was a child again. how everyone looked at him like some sort of idiot. the one who took the shots to the leg. the one who didn’t look far enough ahead. the one who made rash decisions and blew stuff up for the hell of it. the one who fucked things up. and what if Simon just listened. what if he just sat there with John. what if he let him catch his breath. and what if despite the outburst, Simon pried. what if Simon was more patient with him than anyone had ever been. more than in Scotland. than in service. what if Simon slowly pecked pecked pecked away at each piece of John that he could get ahold of until all that was left was an unfamiliar sense of home. and what if, when John was wounded and alone and betrayed with his mind spinning in circles with whatever the hell just happened to them and what to do or where to go from here, Simon joked with him. a horrible joke. a miserable joke, at that. one that didn’t deserve a laugh. one that didn’t even deserve a huff. and what if John joked back.

Was bored out of my mind during class so I came up with some alternative costume ideas for the tumult for my game (although these won’t be used outside of secret Easter eggs or as a part of extra thing I add to the game files for people to snoop around for other than just the standard unused stuff)
We have 8 total outfits here (1 regular tumult, 3 recolours, 3 new silhouettes, 1 original)
In order from top left to bottom right
The tumult - standard outfit, well known (in universe)
Lesbian pride tumult- its canon, but enough said
Tumult in shining armour - *angry cat gal noises*, made to be a parody of fantasy armour not protecting anything of value
The dumult - a bad copy or it the tumult went feral (I guess the cloner didn’t realise that the tumult isn’t literally part cat, guess they wanted authentic cat ears and failed to create this mess of a being)
Trans pride tumult - of course the cat gal has a version of her outfit that is the colours of the trans flag, canonicity undecided so feel free to headcanon it until I decide
Dark tumult - -insert 2012 emo joke here-
Pumpkin gal - Spooky time, literally just wears a pumpkin you stole of neighbours for halloween
Kristal - no more tumult, sad day for all
Note this isn’t a part of a bi-weekly progress update since I made these for the fun of it and being bored in class had something to do with it

TOONTOWN HEADCANON LORE POST THINGY NUMBER 2
(Like last time, this is also cantered around TTCC, and is mostly just me rambling like a lunatic about my headcanons.)
Topic: Toons
(This is sorta like the Toon counterpart of the Cog post I made earlier)
Basic Details
Toons are generally very silly beings, and are a very social species by nature. They come in a variety of sizes, shapes, etc.
They can be a singular species, or they can be a mishmash of different parts, there is not much limit to what a Toon can look like.
Variation in "animation style"
Their mannerisms and motion is usually akin to that of the kind of cartoons Toontown was inspired by (rubberhosey, vibrant and colorful) but there is also much variation in this as well. One Toon may move around/look like they're "animated" differently than another.
Toons are spread out far and wide, but when I say spread out, I mean it. Compared to how much of the world is inhabited by Suits, there aren't as many Toons, to the point where many Suits don't even know of their existence.
(This is largely because Toon culture/Toon subjects aren't really taught or talked about in Suit societies, both due to lack of knowledge on them, and the deliberate desire to stamp them out of public knowledge)
Regardless, there are notably other significant populations out there (think stuff like where Ducktales takes place and whatnot).
The Toons at Toontown aren't the only ones who have had to deal with the whims of Suits and their expansion, desire to take land, etc.
More Biology Stuff
There isn't really much that is concrete to the biology of Toons. Like stated earlier, they're extremely diverse and have many differences across each other.
Some might have skeletons or bones and whatnot, but whether they do or not probably wouldn't make too much of a difference.
Probably something like cartoon logic, where whatever is funniest at that moment will be true. That's probably the answer to a lot of things about Toons now that I think of it
Sillyness
Just about every Toon by nature needs to be happy to be healthy. The Laff meter is an invention that helps track a Toon's sillyness/happiness at a certain time. This is measured/quantifiable with the Laff formula. (I'm literally just making that up cause I thought it sounded funny so make of it what you will)
Laff increasing is essentially a sign of increased resistance to negativity, in a way. Not that high Laff Toons will never get sad, angry, or otherwise never feel negative emotions, but a Toon with high Laff may have a better time faring against deliberate attacks to one's happiness. Laff is generally increased by having fun, and is often boosted when experiencing that fun with someone else.
Sad or otherwise unhappy Toons often have very low Laff, whether it be that they have less than others, or that they have lost a lot of their Laff.
Some Toons are more serious than others, and may not show happiness/joy in the same way, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're a scrooge. Like us humans, (which don't exist in this world) they have wide ranges of emotions and may experience them/show them differently.
Despite this, some Toons might be edgy........... and reject happiness or something IDK why you'd willingly want to be miserable
Culture
It varies a lot. There's quite a lotta Toons of all shapes and sizes out there. Lots of communities. They all got different cultures! But they all most often share the same general traits (happiness, sillyness, helping each other out, etc. How nice.) i really dont know what else to write here.
Fin (i dont know how to end this)

Listen, trying to read stories that are text walls is super annoying, enough so that sometimes I just dip, but if you have to do that to get the words down: we’ve all been there, and you can change it when you decide to post, or when you’re ready for it. No reason to stress. Just think your thoughts, write your words, and worry about the other stuff later.

I told myself I wasn't going to ever make this post. Because I had hope. Because I wanted to believe that Miraculous had decent writing and that the sentiadren theory was not the pinnacle of what they could accomplish. Then season 5 happened. The first few episodes were good, it even forced me to make my blog solely Miraculous themed because the interactions I had with everyone were so much fun. Heck youve seen the reaction posts I did both in character and as myself.
(under the cut is a bunch of writing that you can take as me explaining my reasoning or just complaining. Either way, if you're hoping for anymore Miraculous content from me? Stories or screen caps, you best unfollow. Because I'm done.)
But then the leaks came. And, like an ancient being unable to properly use Facebook, I failed to avoid them. I told myself that certain spoilers didn't matter, that I could wait until the actual episodes came out to decide whether or not the salt was justified, that with a terrible memory like mine I'd forget it in no time (just look at some of the other screw ups I've made regarding Miraculous, it's not that far fetched.) However, as the number of Miraculous tags and blogs I followed began to grow the number of consenting opinions grew as well.
There are those who hate Marinette for being obsessed or a stalker when it comes to Adrien (who Id like to point out has had several episodes where we've seen his obsessed stalkers. Now Wayhem is creepy.) Those who love her and believe that all against her should suffer (which I was briefly a part of and still must fight my Alya bias even now.) And the same goes for the rest of the characters. But I still wanted to sit back and form my own opinions as cleanly as possible.
Needless to say, I failed. The more I stepped back and looked at the episodes, the more spoilers I failed to avoid to the episode screenshots I saw despite not having seen said episode yet. It all resulted in one clear opinion in my mind. Season 5 is a letdown. Not only because it's an out of order mess with the release dates but because it seemed more and more like pandering. Sentitheory is confirmed, Adrinette becomes canon, Lila gets revealed, Chloe gets punished and we get some LGBTQ+ recognition in the form of Zoe. (And Miss Bustier if I'm hearing right but I'm not really sure about that one.)
That should have been great, I'm all for writers letting the fans know they're appreciated. I was a brony during the 100th episode. That was like ambrosia for us fans. This? Felt like bad fanfiction and I know bad fanfiction, I've written tons of it. Firstly, why Zoe? If you're going to piss off Disney and other broadcasters, which I believe is why it was never done before, then why not confirm Rose and Juleka? Or Marc and Nathaniel? Why spend an episode saying something the fandom had basically decided the moment Zoe first showed up? And apparently it's just an end of episode confirmation where Marinette says she's flattered? I mean I get it but really? I don't know whether to be proud of her for not making a big deal of it or disappointed that the show doesn't make a bigger deal of it considering just how hard a confession like that can be. But you know what? I haven't watched the episode and I'm not going too so I probably shouldn't judge it.
What I will judge the everloving shit out of is the handling of Luka and Chloe. Luka must leave Paris because he knows who LB and CN are. That makes sense, we've seen in Star train that HawkMoth can't really sense or control his akuma's once they leave Paris so they'd have to leave to hunt Luka down. However Luka found out halfway through last season and, outside Ephemeral (which is its own set of issues) is never brought up. Seriously? I'm all for the Lukagami team up (which didn't actually end in Lukagami) for getting Adrinette together but you couldn't have had him pop up in a few more episodes to have him give excuses for the heroes to get away? Maybe pop up a bit more in support of Adrien? I'd be more upset if I hadn't known about the whole Luka leaving Paris, along with the Zoe confession, since BEFORE THE SEASON STARTED. But again, seperate issues.
And then there's Chloe. Oh Chloe. Now I wouldn't call myself a Chloe Stan. Until I actually started writing out ideas I didn't like her. She's the civilian foil to Marinette who is only put up with because her Daddy's the mayor and Adrien remembers when they had fun as little kids. The terrible airing of episodes didn't help either. Had I not been taking notes on every episode and had they not marathoned them on tv leading up to the release of the movies, I would have never put the pieces of her character together. Her self doubt, her abandonment by her mother, Mr. Cuddles and sucking her thumb? That is not the actions of evil incarnate. And what does the show do? LITERALLY REPLACE HER WITH ZOE!
And I don't mean the salty fans complaining about Mary Zoe as a replacement. No, the show doubles down by having the mayor adopt Zoe and send Chloe off with the mother who refuses to get her name right that Chloe doubts actually loves her. That? Is beyond fucked up. That? Is something I'd have written back when I didn't fully understand how tribulations and pain were parts of character growth. Just a simple "nah, Chloe bad. Zoe better. Just have Zoe." Seriously do you know how long it took me to realise that you can't just get rid of the bad guy if you want to make a good story?
And then, to cap it all off. HawkMoth gets his wish. On the bright side, if you wanted to know why Bunnix didn't show up until Evolution or during Ephemeral? That's why. Apparently Marinette feeling like a complete and utter failure is necessary for the future Alix comes from to happen. In fact, had Ephemeral happened before Wishmaker? Wed basically be watching season 6 right now. How else was Luka supposed to know what the hell Ladybug was talking about? Dudes not that smart I'm sorry. Hell nobody in the show is.
Seriously, who's genius fucking idea was it to have HawkMoth win this far into the show? Need I remind all of you how the wish is meant to work? It's a reset. A complete erasure and rewrite. There should be no "keeping secrets from Adrien" drama because, as far as the entire UNIVERSE is aware Emilie Agreste never vanished and whatever happened to Gabriel always happened. Hell the only one keeping secrets in this new world should be the kwamis since they're apparently the only ones who recognise what a reset looks like meaning they've experienced it before. And apparently they're all with their holders in this new universe? Hell I may watch the last episode just to figure out what crap they pull to try and explain everything. And why we should care about anything that happened in the past 8 YEARS if the "grand plan" of Astruc was just to erase it!
..... Sorry. I got way more frustrated towards the end there than I should have. If you have read this entire thing? Thanks and I'm sorry if I've wasted your time. What started out for me as a wonderful show about magic and love and typical good vs evil has now appears to have devolved into lazy writing, character assassination, retcons and repetition. I don't want to be one of the people who blame ZAG or TA or the writers about the problems of the show. That's more anger and salt then I need in my life. I'm just saying that, if this is the direction they choose to take it, that this was always the end point? Then I'm getting off here.

it’s insane how much Lore I have. for example, my family includes: a twitch streamer (my mother), great-uncle who owns a big fucking hentai company type thing and who also recently lost a MILLION DOLLARS to the stock market (!?!!?), so much teen pregnancy (my sister was the first uterus-having person in our bloodline to not get pregnant as a teen in like, 7 generations?????), copious amounts of divorce, my dad’s who's a conspiracy theorist, and theres just so much insane fucking lore about my family- I'm just the cool transgender sillyguy and my whole family is just UNHINGED all the time. other me lore includes: shronkeh x jerma as the only decoration on the wall of my room, hatsune miku x mlp figurine, I'm extremely hypermobile and I can press my hands flat against the floor without bending my knees, I have been kicked out of two dance classes- both while I was like 6, one because I bit the teacher and another because I shattered a mirror, I collect tiny things and keep them all in one altoids container- and it has what may be a spell jar full of blood and sand in it (hat someone gave me at pride last year) also a miniature bottle of tabasco in there too, I once made it to third place in my county for the spelling bee which was ONE PLACE AWAY from state which I'm still kind of bitter about (I was in a photo in the newspaper for that!), and idk in general my life just feels surreal sometimes tbh

Can you pls elaborate on sig giving rot on purpose? :eyes:
okay so my version is more accidental-on purpose like sig did it on purpose but they didnt mean to or he really regretted it straight after.
(*notes: i headcanon the local group as a big family so i will refer to them as siblings cause its my version. i also headcanon that scugs and iterators can communicate either by sign language or iterator speaking slug signing. also my version of hunter is also a lot more fucked up compared to canon hunter.)
so sig already needs to be quick with creating hunter cause well moon is kinda collapsed rn. anyway in a moment of anger due to the fact moon didnt deserve this and it doesnt matter what he does she'll never be the same. they like on purpose lets hunter get the rot into her cells and like two seconds later theyve calmed down and he is like wait why did i do that???
as sig trains hunter they never tell her about the rot being on purpose. he only ever says "it was a mistake" "i should have taken more care." but they mean it in a way of it was a complete accident and they always immediately follows up with "but i cant change it now" "we need to focus on helping moon." sig also never tells hunter the fact that the rot will actually kill her ofc he says that hunter needs to go as soon as possible so she can actually make it.
when hunter finally gets to moon and pebbles she finally finds out how bad the rot is she realizes that sig lied.
so hunter ascends but do we get this.
Tumblr media
NOPE.
Tumblr media
hunter "respawns" in sigs can but she is still the same except the rot timer has reset. hunter is angry and asks why sig told her that she'll be fine .she'll be strong. she'll get better. when it was all a lie.
all sig has to say is the truth on what happened and they regret it. he didnt mean it but at the time they did it. he tells hunter there is no point in staying if she hates him now and says that hunter can leave. and so hunter leaves
please forgives any typos/inconsistencies its 1 am and my mind came up with this from a concept, pearl dialogues and listening to the crane wives
