It’s so hard to capture the intricacies of whitework embroidery on camera- so unbelievably subtle and yet so beautifully delicate! This piece used to be an item of fast fashion, probably destined for the landfill as there were some tough stains on the bodice. That’s where the brilliance of embroidery comes into play- it’s a fantastic way to cover over tough stains, fabric pulls, or even holes. Mending things makes me so happy.
