ohhh this is a great question!

blivian in other universes would be interesting, the one I've imagined her most in besides mst3k is tf2! she and scout would be bros and probably also pretty exhausting to be around. she'd definitely have a thing for miss pauling and her questionable ethics. since I think they're both into horror, I can see her being interested in pyro too tbh!

another au I have in mind for her is one where she and kinga are lost in time due to some canon-typical time travel shenanigans, and their daughters zai and mira (who I don't think I've posted about) are trying to figure out how to find them. zai is running the mst3k experiment and is a little more evil and tired. mira is still a teenager and misses her family being all together :( but they would reunite in the end!!!

Retro FPS protagonist kid-AU, where the Boomer Shooter ones (as well as more recent ones, e.g the TF2 Mercenaries) are older teenagers/young adults, and retro-throwback characters (e.g Duskdude, The Champion, Shelly) are, like, 10.

Here's some fun character stuff!

Duskdude enjoys hanging out with Caleb (and, by extension, Gabriel/Gabrielle, Ishmael and Ophelia, who Caleb is in a polycule with, and at one point Tchernabog, who is Caleb's ex) and Quakeguy, and views them as family.

One of Gordon's science projects accidentally opened a door to the future, which brought Doomguy's future self (Doom Slayer) to the present; Doom Slayer is a metal musician, is married, and has a son (Doom3guy).

Gordon's adoptive parents (Dr. Kleiner and Dr. Magnusson) built V1 as a sibling for him, but after V1 ended up becoming closer with Doomguy instead, the two adopted Chell.

Gabriel/Gabriella is genderfluid, Doomguy is transmasc and bi, Caleb is pansexual, V1 is literally genderless (since they're a robot), Chell and GLaDOS are lesbians, and Duskdude is asexual and aromantic.

Shelly is Duke's daughter, Quakeguy is Doomguy's younger brother, and the original Lo Wang is the new Lo Wang's racist uncle.

The TF2 Mercs are employees at the local Mann Co. store. The Administrator is their manager.

Speaking of which, GLaDOS is The Administrator's younger sister, and has a mutual crush on Chell.

BJ - who has since left the town the AU takes place in - is a successful filmmaker who makes war films.

Girl Medic though, GIRL MEDIC... damn. She’s named Elli, I think she grows into Hilda though they have different names. If I made a ask blog for anything (maybe HLVRAI with a self insert on it) would anyone be interested in it? I was thinking about doing a cat au where everyone is cats except Gordon and gman and Yeah but I also thought of just doing asking them things and let the story go iff from somewhere in the story but I dunno man. Cat is best idea but I also have that kid HLVRAI idea I made a while back..

Options are Cat HLVRAI, Kid HLVRAI, or just choosing somewhere in the story and going off of there which is the most boring one? I guess.

Also Kid HLVRAI is essentially where everyone is just kids/teenagers and gman is the only adult but I thought of including more valve characters like Chell and maybe a human Glados, Barney, Alyx, even the tf2 team maybe! Or references to them. But like the other valve characters would just be caretakers or characters who will appear once or twice! And now that I think about it kid HLVRAI sounds very good actually..
