The first time Blitzwing and Deadstick met eachother didn’t go exactly according to plan. Blitzwing didn’t know seeker sparklings are born with out wings, and that all sparklings are born without legs.

Bronzewing wasn’t very pleased with Blitzwing’s joke/behavior (especially knocking his brother against Bronzewing’s chassis). But their sire, Tripwire, thought the entire scene was the funniest thing she’d ever seen.

i dont have a design for them yet but uhh tfa s/i lore

- tripwire is lockdown’s old business partner who disappeared and was assumed dead after a life-or-death bounty assignment from megatron. later it’s revealed they planned their disappearance because they found out lockdown was taking all the credit

- lockdown only realizes he has Unnecessary Feelings for tripwire after he thinks they’re dead and he has to confront that and realizes he fucked up big time. there’s obvious romantic tension when they see each other again

- tripwire changes their name and goes by kickwire sometime in between their fake death stunt and reuniting with lockdown

So for some practice tonight i did some super sketchy expressions! Specifically facial expressions Blitzy subconsciously inherited/picked up from his parents and makes well into adulthood. I may do more of these in the future and including some other bots!

He really takes after both his creators. He’s an ugly crier just like his sire Tripewire, and a pure dumbass like his carrier Bronzewing.

Meet Blitzwings creators/parents, Bronzewing and Tripwire! Bronzewing: (Blitzwing’s Carrier) Despite being a massive warframe of a seeker, he is actually pretty mild and laid back. He is incredibly patient when dealing with other bots and it can take quite a bit of effort to actually make him angry. However, he absolutely loves violence and fighting. He fell in love with his conjux because of her wild temper and the fact she was the only one bold enough to cut up his face as much as she did.

Tripwire: (Blitzwings Sire) This bitch is basically feral. She is overly aggressive and has next to no patience. She’s incredibly reckless and flings herself into combat/conflict with wild abandon. In fact, one time she rushed into battle and got caught in one of her own explosions, the shrapnel that pierced her chassis completely totaled her gestation chamber, so she was never able to carry sparklings. Probably for the best as she didn't learn her lesson and keeps throwing herself at opponents. She’ll never stop until she gets what she wants.

Fun Facts:

The glowing canister on Trips hips are special Energon bombs when the trigger head is pushed, a chemical is introduced that makes the concoction unstable. It will change color then explode.

 Bronzewing has Tripwire’s name carved into one of his wings. He has no idea when she did this, never bothered to buff it out.

 Tripwire used the phrase “You walking disaster bastard mech“ as a term of endearment towards Bronzewing.

 Blitzwing was kind of scared of his sire. Mostly her temper.

 Blitzwing learned how to fly from Bronzewing, and how to fight from Tripwire.

 Bronzewing was against the triple changer program. Tripwire didn’t personally care.

 Bronzewing was apparently “killed in action” according to Megatron. And Tripwire doesn’t believe the reports that an Autobot did Bronzewing in.

 Tripwire went awol after Bronzewing went offline. She hasn’t been seen in eons.

A Preview of some designs to come! (just some bust sketches of 2 of the 4 designs I am making before I head off to work) Due to designing fan-parents having won the poll! Decided to preview Blitzwings progenitors first (Because he is my fav.) So enjoy a Glance at Tripwire and Bronzewing! A feisty ready to fight femme and a big and blunt mech. They fell in love trying to kill each other. Bronzewing couldn’t help it, Tripwire’s manic bloodlust and skill with explosives were thrilling.

Is Tripwire a cannibal? Or Blitzwing in your au?

Tripwire will use her blunt ass denta to rip out another bots throat and she wasnt against eating other bots to recycle them in her smelting chamber for self repair.

But it was Bronzewing who devored dozens of bots, Con and AB alike when he was carrying Blitzwing. He needed the materials to build a Cybertronian so he ate other Cybertronian. Was much easier than tring to go harvest those materials from a planet. Plus Bronzeeing had huge sharp seratted teeth that had zero problem crunching through metal.

Blitzwing was also taught that resources are resourses and so he picked up canibalistic tendencies. He will not hesitate to eat a dead Cybertronian for self repair resources. Metal was metal and Energon was Energon, it didnt matter where it came from.

It is so heartbreaking that Tripwire killed Cricket! God what would ever happen if Bee and Blitz found out?(also have you gotten my two asks about Blitz and Sparklings? Or did tumblr eat them?)

It wasn’t in the Autobot records of who was responsible for what happened to Cricket. It didn’t help that there wasn’t much left of Cricket to know what actually happened, the only evidence left behind was 8 miles of exploded planet due to a mass detonation of buried energon bombs.

Bee was very young when Cricket died. Triage never had the answers he and Bee needed for closure. Learning the truth that the person who took his carrier away thought it was fun/funny at the time, he didn’t take it well.

(If you sent an ask about Blitz and his sparklings I didn’t get it. If you sent an ask about blitz, and a separate about sparklings I did get those!)

(Also i totally forgot Blitzwings shoulder attachments. WHOOPS, but then again they woulda blocked bee’s face at this angle)

You know, for me Tripwire seems like the type of sire that after being handed her sparkling for the first time, would lift them up for everyone to see, and be like" "Look at this, I've made this", with obvious pride.

Proud? Of course! 

Excited? Obviously! 

Appropriate? 

OF COURSE NOT!

Trippy was very much excited about having Blitzwing much to Bronzewing’s dismay at her phrasing. And even expresses her pride in his creation even into his adulthood. She’s obnoxious and embarrassing and yet Bronzewing and Blitzwing still loved her.

They both just wish she’d tone that shit down. She wont.

Tripwire never tried to have a copy of bronzewing made. But beast wars established making an exact clone of someone results in the original spark returning and influencing the new spark. That's what happened to dinobot 2.

oh no she tried to make him, multiple times and with each failure she ripped them apart. and while they looked like him, talked like him, felt like him, they weren't him as unless they have a data stick of the bots memories they don't have their memories. Without their memories they don't have their spark bonds. Blitzwing doesn't know a trinket he was given from his carrier was a data stick holding all his memories up until the night he left and never came back. Bronzewing knew he may die, Blitzy doesn't know his most precious good luck charm hold such precious memories. He also doesn't know that someone has a data stick with a copy of his brother on it as well.
