OK SO I MAYBE JUST HAD A GALAXY BRAIN MOMENT.

So my friend sent me this comic here (kudos to the creator) and I was telling them about how I fully believe in the time traveler Ranboo theory because it would explain him during the red banquet and also Ran during the tftsmp The Pit episode. BUT THEN THAT GOT ME THINKING.

Refresher for anyone who doesn't remember or just didn't watch it but at the end everyone except Jackie is killed by lava. EXCEPT Karl and the viewer can see that Ran and Watson escape and are talking about something, but Karl is killed before we find out what.

My theory is that Ran was sent to The Pit to bring Watson back in time. Why? So that Watson could grow to be c!Phil.

Now Kira, you may be saying, what proof do you have that c!Phil is Watson other than that they're both played by cc!Phil? WELL SURPRISE I ALREADY THOUGHT OF THAT

First of all, Phil and Watson look similar, period. While its not perfect, it would've taken AGES for Watson to become the Phil we know, as he's canonically centuries old. While Watson's eyes are grey, we've seen Tommy's eyes change from grey to blue so that's not much of a stretch. His hair could've easily lightened from sunlight after all his time in hardcore worlds, and immortality and wings are already usually brushed off by Phil being married to Lady Death.

SECONDLY, it could explain why Phil has only one life. Yes, Techno does say that where he comes from people only have one life, but honestly that's a pretty vague statement guys. I believe that Phil, while he was Watson, lost his first life in the fight with Bartholomew and his second when the lava came in at the end, leaving him with only one life left.

Speaking of such we are brought to my final piece of reasoning that I made in my genius ranting brought on by a sugar rush and hyped up by my friend. Phil's belief in anarchy. After escaping the pit and Emperor Porkius, no shit Watson would hate monarchy and governments! He probably had those feelings stewing in him for centuries, and when he met Technoblade, if he didn't already harbor those feelings towards authority, Phil likely would've told his friend the dangers of governments and corruption. It's even possible Watson saw a bit of Porkius in Techno and did his best to make sure his friend would heed his warnings and not turn out like the man that led to the suffering and deaths of so many people.

So, thats my theory/headcannon. Ranboo is a timetraveler, and in The Pit episode he brought Watson centuries back in time so that he would eventually become the c!Phil we know and love.

Imagine a 100 years in the future, a lab far in the north which lays untold secrets. They have everything that you could imagine for a place like that. High tech weaponry, doors that open automatically, food that magically creates itself. Though something might be lurking underneath the surface.

On the other side of the world, you have a lost city underneath the ocean right next to a small island that's home to four fishermen. Just a way out from there is an Empire where the King goes through generals like hotcakes and they have to fight in a ring that holds no meaning to them.

Then in another corner of the world, you have everything that connects to that lost city, just in the wrong way, and an egg that continues to grow and feast on the world around it. A land that once held meaning has been laid to rest under the undoing of those that once lived there.

A lively mansion with games and students that come to visit; having a grand old time. Only a single soul lives there with only the visitors to keep him company. Compared to another mansion that knows no rest and continues to feast on the lives that continues to enter; following the wealthy into a game of chance.

With that knowledge, there's an island that has been laid to ruin over the years. Nothing remains of a time well spent. Laughter and bricking have been washed away while only the ship of a long-forgotten captain is the only one docked. Still waiting for the day when those friends return.

If you follow that island into the land that has been forgotten, you'll meet with a sight. A town that had been rocked by time itself. Nothing appeared to be spared, though only mimicking another piece of history long abandoned. Farther into the land lays a tiny village of just eight homes in a dark forest, forgotten by time and gods.

Just a bit farther now where the horses run free and the law seems scarce. The buildings are tall and foreboding, suffocating even. For they weren't homes but tombs waiting to be filled with each shot that rung through the air.

Hidden from the rest of the world, another structure stands true. A labyrinth of the same traps and corners and dead-ends that appears to repeat. Of people that run the race, speak the same words, and find an ending just to - A labyrinth of the same traps and corners and dead-ends that appears to repeat. Imagine what they once were and now with a few years added on. Continue and soon you'll be seeing something that you can't be sure is real anymore.

These places are nothing more than empty tombs and graves to fill a traveller's wary books. For what is a traveller without a few good stories to tell?

Introducing… the Ranbros!

Ran:

Eldest sibling, inspired by Ran from TFTSMP: The Pit, he/him.

Twenty years old, going to college for engineering on the other side of the state.

Never took or showed any interest in theatre, he’s always been more into the sciences than the arts.

He acts quite a lot like he doesn’t care about what his little brother is up to during their after school hours, and yet, despite working on a bachelors four hours away, he curiously always makes it to a show.

Ranboo:

Second oldest; combined inspiration from DSMP!Ranboo, CC!Ranboo, and personal experience; he/they/ender.

Fifteen years old, freshman in high school.

Calls Ran late at night every once in a while for advice. Sometimes it’s hey I’ve got this test coming up and I’m really worried about it please tutor me, other times it’s Ran dude you’ve gotta help me I think I’m having a flashback please, and, on one particular occasion, there’s this really cute guy in my theatre class what do I say to him.

Ranbis:

I just couldn’t resist throwing in my favorite little shithead.

Second youngest, inspired by origins!Ranboo, he/she.

Thirteen years old, seventh-grader in middle school.

She is what my folks would call a punk bitch.

Anxiously awaits the day she can join the theatre program. Everyone else is also waiting anxiously, but, uh, with the /neg connotation.

He is lovable if you can get past the pompous facade.

With Ran off to college, he’s got an interesting newfound case of middle child syndrome, coupled with the fact that he’s so close in age to Ranboo but still far enough behind to not get any special treatment.

Ranbob:

The youngest, inspired by Ranbob from TFTSMP: The Lost City of Mizu, he/him.

Seven years old, first-grader in elementary school.

Sweet little guy. Mild murderous tendencies but sweet little guy.

Probably gonna turn out to be one of those kids who’s, like, concerningly knowledgeable on WW1.

Overall pretty indifferent towards theatre, but he likes Ranboo so he tolerates going to see shows.
