Okay listen,,,, I’ve had this idea stuck in my head for 7 ho u rs, so I apologize but just,, hear me out. One day Nicky convinces Andrew and Neil to get high with him (probably ooc I knOw just,,, gimme a second) so whatever they agree. So they all go up to Neil and Andrew’s dorm cause Kevin’s out with Thea and have a fun time (Neil coughs like once and Nicky almost gets knee’d in the balls for laughing). Nicky high is Nicky sober just louder. Andrew high on weed instead of prescribed pills isn’t very different from sober Andrew except for the fact that after a while his eyes don’t leave Neil that often, especially when the striker curls up next to him. Neil when high however, is a sight to behold. Nicky yelps in excitement each time Neil giggles or really does anything other than sit quietly and Andrew glares half heartedly in his direction (because his eyes refuse to leave Neil). At some point after they’ve passed around the third blunt, Neil and Andrew share extensive eye contact for awhiLE before Neil drags his teeth across his bottom lip. Nicky then decides to stand up and loudly announce that they’re boring and he’s going to hang out with Matt and Dan. Andrew flicks him a bored glance before the door slams shut and he looks back down at Neil, still curled into his side like a cat, with a little more than bored look. Neil smiles and gently takes Andrew’s hand from where it’s resting on the ground, giving Andrew enough time to pull away, before interlocking their fingers and resting his head on the blond’s shoulder. And this is going into to much detail but as I said before, 7 hoURs. Anyway, like 10 minutes pass and they’re both sitting in silence, basking in the feeling of being high as well as each other’s presence before Neil mutters a quiet ‘yes or no?’ Into Andrew’s collarbone. Andrew has no idea what Neil’s planning but he says yes anyway because he knows he’ll respect his boundaries. So, Neil throws his leg over Andrew’s lap less than gracefully and giggles when Andrew’s hands land on his waist so he doesn’t fall over. Neil leans down halfway and let’s Andrew pull him down the rest so that their lips meet. It’s lazy and messy because Neil won’t stop giggling. Andrew doesn’t let the amusement show on his face when Neil finally pulls back, smiling and looking down at Andrew with a too soft look in his eyes. He leans back down and pecks the others’ lips then moving to his cheek and Andrew mutters a percentage under his breath when Neil’s lips brush along his jawline and he feels the striker’s lips quirk up again. Andrew’s fingers clutch at Neil’s waist when teeth graze the side of his neck and he involuntarily tilts his head back and twists the stupidly tight shirt that Neil hasn’t taken off in way too long around his fingers. That shirt is off by the time Neil has decided that his work on Andrew’s neck is done and he leans back smiling and eyes gleaming. Andrew has his head against the wall and his cheeks are flushed slightly and his neck is basically purple. Andrew pulls Neil back down with a hand on the back of his neck and this kiss is way less lazy and then *jazz hands* and Nicky doesn’t walk in on them because he’s in Matt’s dorm playing connect four with Dan on the ground while Allison paints Matt’s nails. Idk anymore can someone please write this even though it’s ooc.

I keep having this thought of Andrew going up to Neil one day and saying ‘I’m giving it back.’ And Neil looks confused for a second and then his whole face lights up. Because Andrew has borrowed Neil’s dream for so long, but now he knows Andrew has found *his* dream. A goal/ambition/purpose outside of his deals and his survival and his nothing with Neil. He has something that is all his that will be there no matter what changes.

And Neil’s a little sad when Andrew retires a few weeks later, but it’s short lived especially when Andrew looks so sure and comfortable and finally, finally relaxed.

And Andrew can’t really complain. He’s got his Exy money, his family, his ambition, and his junkie.

Do you think Andrew sometimes uses his memory for some chaotic good?

Like remembering Nicky left this text book for his 8am class under the couch so he puts it in the pantry so he will see it when he grabs his granola bar on his rush out the door.

Or when he remembers Katelyn’s birthday is coming up and Aaron is shit at buying gifts so a few weeks before when he’s at the mall he signs Aaron up to get emails from all of the jewelry stores (he might also sign him up for the kids clothing store and every mall survey that someone approaches him about).

And he always remembers what rest stops have the best coffee and which ones actually have fresh fruit for his idiot junkie and he will strategically give Renee her favorite flavored Powerade an hour before they would get there so she will ask to stop when they’re at the right place.

And then there are times when he’s just bored and everyone is getting too chummy and he wants the dorm to himself (and Neil) so he’ll bring up something from months ago for some chaotic evil.

Andrew: Hey, Kevin. Remember when Aaron got injured and said it happened at the gym and couldn’t practice for a week? He got drunk with Boyd and they decided to do piggy back rides. Boyd had a running start. I think Dan has it on video. He really just crumpled.

Kevin: *angrily leaving the dorm to go talk to them about poor decision making*

Andrew: nicky, it’s good you decided to keep that shirt. Allison said it it made you look like a frumpy frat bro, but you can’t take advice from someone who wears your bomber jacket when you’re in Columbia, right? It’s not a good look on her.

Nicky: I knew it smelled like her perfume!!! *storms out*

Neil: was that really necessary? You could have just told them to leave.

Andrew: I have my reasons.

We need to talk about the logical conclusion that there is no way the first time Andrew met Neil was the first time Andrew saw Neil. Coach Hernandez sent in a tape! And Wymack would pull recruits files and look at their photo!

And we know Kevin would be watching those tapes and looking at those files.

And we know Andrew wouldn’t have left Kevin’s side that year.

Therefore, Andrew saw all the tapes and files. So he saw Neil way before they went to Milport to sign him. And he went oh. He’s cute. Oh.

And what would be Andrew’s reaction to a cute boy making him feel things? And worse yet, want things?

Destroy the cute thing ofc.

So Andrew-scared of heights and hates flying-Minyard hops on a plane with the sole intent of crushing the thing that makes him feel because how dare he. It wasn’t a matter of if, but a matter of when he would of taken a swing at the cause of his frustration.

Tl;dr: Andrew was crushing hard before he met Neil and the only logical solution was to clothes line him with an Exy racket. Neil never stood a chance that day, it was gonna happen no matter what he did.
