Time-Out Needed!

I am taking a much-needed break from this platform and HoTD fandom in general. It's not going to be long though -- just a week's worth of detox to actually get my priorities in order!

This space was meant as an escape from my daily grind but lately, it's become a grueling chore. To make matters worse, I'm juggling a full-time job along with my Masters programme. These days, I get anxious every time I see my notification tab light up. On top of that, my health has taken a deep dive with my anxiety riddled eating habits - and that's never a good news! Given the industry that I'm in, these issues tend to become even more apparent - as evidenced by my colleague's observation that my cheeks are looking more 'filled in' and my eleven lines on forehead are getting more prominent 😭 Don't get mad now, it's just how Asians express care and affection - it's wired into our DNA! However, she was kind to hook me with the best tretinoin in market 🥹

I will still be available on Discord, and I'll answer all your cute asks in the next couple of days. But I'm afraid any fandom-related topics will have to wait until next week. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Wow. 300 followers. How amazing is that?

I never imagined that people would read and be interested in my stories. So thank you all, from the bottom of my heart.

But above all, a big thank you to all the authors, for all their magnificent stories. On this platform, whichever kind of story you like, you'll find what you’re looking for.

In March, I did a search for Pedro, and Google took me to Tumblr. I knew nothing about fanfiction and a new world opened up to me.

I discovered the accounts of @swiftispunk, @toxicanonymity 🖤🫶, @walkintotheriveranddisappear, @javiscigarette… and so many more since then. Each of them has a different writing style, different ways of conveying feelings and emotions, different Joels and Javis.

For several months, I’ve been reblogging my favorite stories, gifs, photos. I started to interact shyly, little by little.

And then, three months ago, I thought, why not write something of my own? Except... I'm French, I learned English by watching films and series in their original version with french subtitles. Writing in another language was quite a challenge.

Thanks to this community that I tiptoed into, I met @not-a-unique-snowflake-blog . She’s an angel who reads and corrects each of my stories before I post them. Without her, I would never have written, so Kate, thank you babe 💕🫶

Those of you that know me personally, know it’s been a little bit of a rough year for me. I’m and out of the hospital multiple times, etc. Unfortunately my dad has also been in and out of the hospital and had to get all of his toes and part of his foot amputated. We’re raising money to help with medical bills, every day care for him, and for a chair lift to get him up and down the stairs as he is now unable to walk.

even if you can only do something halfway, its better than not doing it at all.

i struggle with a lot of executive dysfunction and a lack of energy, so this has helped me just get shit done sometimes. now, this doesn’t work for everything, but for simple things like cleaning or daily routines it’s very helpful

OH and take breaks when you need to there is no shame in taking a break

But there is nothing he could do about it rn. With today being sam’s birthday, the bunker is full with their people jody and the girls, bobby, castiel, jack, charlie. The whole gang is here and he just hasn’t got the chance to get her alone..until sometime in afternoon, everyone is busy and he finds her in the kitchen baking pie. And as she turns around, she is pinned to the nearest well, Dean hovering over her tiny figure, his hands keeping hers captive by the side of her head)

Dean- So you think you can tease me all day and get away with it…

*he asks against shell of her ear, his breathing making her whimper and he chuckles a bit*

“ Oh sweet girl, there are gonna be consequences, you see tonight, i am gonna eat something even more delicious than this pie”

Apparently it's some of the best quality wines in the region, aside from Andoren, but I can't give an unbiased opinion on it anymore. Included is both the local gold-standard from the Chelaxian heartlands along with some wines from Ravounel, Andoren, and even a rare Irriseni ice wine I picked up on my travels. I think you would appreciate it far more than we would. I've also sent a bottle of limoncello from my hometown of Westcrown - it's wonderful with dessert!

This soap is made from sheep's milk and rose petals. It is a creamy treat for your skin every time you bathe. Inside the jar is Oesypus, a skin care substance and very effective for sore skin, small wounds, old or fresh scars. It lubricates well and can be used on ALL parts of the body.
