[WIP] "Shenanigans at the beach"

The Dad Batch (and Omega) deserve a day of blissful relaxation, I don't think there's anyone out there who wouldn't agree!

While Tech is taking the best nap of his life [Part 1], Omega and Wrecker joined efforts to make the coolest sand-Tipoca city there is out there!

But hold up just a second...

-"Hey Wrecker, look!"

"...now wouldn't it be a shame if someone was feeling extra mischievous today?" Omega thought to herself. Turning to her left, lips pressed in a smile, she discovered Wrecker mimicking her expression. Apparently, he had just read her mind >:).

Tech had felt such peace, such safety that he had fallen into a deep slumber, further fueled by his usual lack of sleep.

Tough seldom wrong, today he was.

Because at this moment Tech was, in fact, in grave danger.

(Acknowledging the lil' banner for a fraction of a second, it's just something I'm testing out and would like some feedback if you'd be so kind to give it :)) I'll probably make it just a tad bit more refined and (possibly) include the members of the Batch appearing on the post? but I might just randomize it for fun too. OKAY SOO. I decided to post these two drawings that I completed a few days ago because:

- once again i deadass couldn't wait anymore💀

- I have decided to make as many "beach episode" themed drawings as I can during the summer (and fall if we get there cuz why not) so i'll just post them as I'm done with each of 'em! I have SO many ideas for it and I want it to be a big project and not some sketches as I had initially planned. I want to make it WHOLESOME and HEART MELTING!! Whenever I get burnt out or need some fresh air I'll draw other things, probably still within the Star Wars theme because the brainrot is real🤓, but just letting you know in advance because AAAH!! this is a big thing for me and I want to share it with you guys because love is all you've shown me and I want to reciprocate 💕 🥺

- and last but DEF NITELY not least I want to celebrate thAT I REACHED 300+ FOLLOWERS TODAY!! AND ALSO 1000+ NOTES ON MY OMEGA DRAWING??!! IN LIKE NO TIME TOO!!? WHAT THE FRICK. THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE!!

yo that villainous price giving fae!simon a gun made of iron is like giving regular soldier simon a knife with no guard but 1000% more. because the guardless knife means a chance of slipping and cutting his palm but that iron gun means the grip burned into his palm definitely

Here's the fae!Price giving fae!Ghost a gun excerpt. Price hitting him with a "the experiment must continue"

The weight of it settles in Ghost's hands, the wooden stock keeps the iron he can feel worked into the metal from touching his skin. Still, his shadows whip around his hands to provide some form of barrier. He looks at Price, stares at the man he's trusted his life to, owes his life to really.

"What's the rifle for?" He asks, turning it over in his hands, inspecting the metal, steel. He can smell it, cold, made for killing things. It hurts his nose just to smell it.

"You're gonna learn to shoot it," Price tells him, setting out caps, bullets, and black powder on a nearby stump.

Ghost doesn't ask why, just follows Price's instructions. Check that the hammer is back, powder into the little brass thing, into the barrel, then the minie ball. His fingers flinch against the bullet, the iron cutting into his skin. He looks at Price, his heavy gaze urges him to continue. There's no room for argument, his is Price's life to risk. Ghost lets out a hiss, grits his teeth and grabs it again, pressing it tip up into the barrel. He shakes the burn out of his hand, inspecting the dark bubbling spot on his finger tips. Not as bad as he's seen on Price.

"Just enough human skin still on you then," Price mumbles to himself, as Ghost grabs the rod. He doesn't let the comment stick around, doesn't let it bounce through his mind more than it should. Still just human enough to handle iron for a short time, to not burn down to the bone.

Ghost shoulders the rifle like he's seen those military idiots do, pressing the little gold cap under the hammer. Price directs his stance, feet apart, brace your shoulders, eyes down the barrel, breathe in and out on fire. Ghost's finger hooks around the trigger, brass thank god, but the steel is starting to chafe uncomfortably. The iron is too worked up, too eager to burn and kill even the hands that hold it, cold steel can do the job if it's mad enough.

He hits a tree dead on his first shot, the explosion of smoke and crack in his ears striking the whole forest dead. Price looks at the tree trunk, the cratered wood and the iron lodged in it. "Good," He says, "Try to get your shadows around the ball, we want real deadly precision."

Ghost notches the long bullet into the chamber, sliding the primer back and forth, his skin still bubbling from the iron. No one makes 'em like this anymore, these bullets are special order. Just for him. Just for the fae that cross Price's path one too many times. Ghost watches down the scope, the way Price sits back in his chair with a smile while his target rants and rages.

His fingers still twitch against the trigger, testing the make of it. Even through his gloves he can feel the cold steel. More iron than it knows what to do with. He rests his cheek against it, his mask shielding him from the worst of it. There used to be a time he'd come out of these with marks, with new burns and frayed skin, he's learned better by now. Pain used to ground him, but now... he's getting too old to rely on that.

Price raises a hand and Ghost pulls the trigger. His bullet slices clean between the fae's eyes, the iron bubbling out and splattering blood over the table. There's not enough human skin left in him, not anymore, even steel is starting to do more than chafe, but it doesn't matter. This isn't his call, it's Price's. There's no room to argue, not when he's been doing it this long.

If he had a complaint he should have raised it in the forest all those years ago.

Both Nate and reader know that Nathan is going to watch everything they do. Still, Nate starts to become curious about things outside the bedroom, such as cooking. Reader and Nate spend domestic time together. He has most of Nathan’s memories, so he’s smart, and he shares Nathan’s interests. Reader and Nate work out together, play chess and other games, and converse about everything.

After all, Nate is trying to pass as a human being, to prove Nathan’s ultimate genius.

Nathan is a touch withdrawn, if that’s possible for Nathan. He’s been watching. He’ll pop in for a quick fuck, or to purposely interrupt intimate moments between reader and her toy. Or to be in charge of those moments.

Reader has her own room and Nathan sleeps in his own. Sometimes Nate wanders into her room at night. She has no idea, at first, if Nate is there to watch her, to simply be in her presence, or is hoping for sex. She also doesn’t know if he desires on his own to come visit her, or if Nathan told him to/programmed him to. When she’s too sleepy, she actually doesn’t know if it’s Nate or Nathan either. Not for sure.

This doesn’t hinder her from inviting him to her bed. She knows it’s not the healthiest behavior, mentally speaking, but it just feels so good…

You inhaled deeply through your nose and then exhaled slowly through your mouth. The bell to your apartment door had just gone off and you were bracing yourself for who was on the other side, calming down your nerves.

Why were you nervous?

It was because you were about to go on an actual date with your crush...Tech.

You lived on Pabu and you'd first ran into him in a tavern after he came back from flight training with the young girl in his squad. You thought he was cute and, after a couple small drinks, worked up the courage to go talk to him. You'd clicked pretty quickly and he told you he'd see you around. The two of you met up a couple more times in that same tavern before he finally decided to ask you on a proper date and you couldn't be more excited! You'd even gone out and bought yourself a new dress and everything to impress him.

Though, now that the date was upon you...you were anxious as hell.

You pressed the button to open your door and there he was, your favorite intelligent, goggled Clone in his nice blue and white leather outfit that you liked on him.

"Good evening, (Y/N)," he said politely.

"Hi Tech," you replied, tucking a lock of hair behind your ear.

"Are you ready for our date?" he inquired.

You nodded. "I've been ready all day."

"As have I." Then he offered you his arm and stated, "Come. I have something special planned for us tonight."

With an excited smile, you looped your arm through his and the two of were off.

He led you down to the pier where he revealed he was borrowing Mayor Shep's boat for the evening and the Mayor had also helped him prepare a special picnic meal for the two of you. The two of you got onto the boat and Tech drove the boat out further into the ocean until you could see all of Pabu in the distance. You enjoyed the lovely meal together while making pleasant conversation. You asked Tech how he was liking life on Pabu and he regaled you with stories of his life as a soldier. He was attentive to every word you said and you were enthralled with all of his stories. You just knew you could listen to him all day.

The sun had almost disappeared on the horizon and you had the feeling your date with Tech was just about over and you couldn't help but feel sad about it.

"I've had a wonderful time with you tonight, Tech," you told him.

"I have had an enjoyable time with you likewise," Tech replied. "However, our outing is not yet over."

"It isn't?" you questioned.

"Not quite," he said. "After analyzing weather conditions a few days ago for Shep in order to properly plan expeditions for the fisherman, I took notice of a particular phenomenon that is supposed to take place this very night. I thought it would be more special if we...could see it together."

Just as you were about to ask what he was talking about, you saw his eyes look up and there seemed to be a softer light illuminating his face, casting a slight glare on his goggles. You looked up in the direction he was gazing and a quiet gasp escaped your lips as you got up to your feet.

The night sky was alive with ribbons of sparkling lights of various colors: green, purple, blue and pink. It was the most beautiful thing you'd ever seen and you just couldn't take your eyes away. You felt Tech stand beside you and the slightest sensation that Tech's hand was right next to yours. This moment was so serene and romantic...you wanted so badly to just inch your hand over and hold Tech's hand.

Suddenly, his fingers lightly brushed against yours and you froze ever so slightly. To test the waters a little more, you lightly touched him back...until you felt his hand slip into yours, intertwining your fingers together, and he grasped your hand tightly. Finally, you made yourself look at him and your eyes tenderly met, causing a feeling of warmth to build inside you at the way he gazed at you.

"This...is perfect," he told you, a softer smile that you'd ever seen from him on his lips.

"Not quite yet, it isn't," you countered. You then tilted your head up and sweetly kissed him on the lips.

When you pulled back, he grinned even wider. "It appears I stand corrected," he said in reply.

Tech then pulled you into his arms and kissed you again in the glowing light of the night sky above you.

They're allowed to date (though Leo's really the only one who does) even if Yoshi doesn't really LIKE it. He has tried to gently be like "MMM BLUE HAVE YOU CONSIDERED,,, NOT DOING WHAT UR DOING" but then Leo always goes 🥺 dad are you homphobic? (he knows fuLL WELL that thats not the case) and Yoshi is like you know what :| nvm

romantic partners arent allowed over unless yoshi is home and bedroom doors arent allowed to be closed. and this rule is RELATIVELY well enforced simply because while, overall, the siblings are a united front and follow the No Snitching rule,,,,,,,

the exception to this is the Boyfriend Rule. they will all 1000% snitch on Leo for sneaking boyfriends into the house and such and Leo fucking knows it, too, those bastards,,,,

A baking spatula soars from Yves' hands up in the air, spinning a few times before landing on the floor where it creates a mini crime scene with the obscure thick red liquid getting smeared around. It's jam, obviously, but you can't deny it makes quite the questionable sight for anyone that might happen to walk in the kitchen.

Maybe that's why Yves tries to get himself free from your embrace and bend over to retrieve it, only... he's met with resistance coming from you.

"I... um... I'm sorry for getting startled like that, I didn't hear you walking in and..."

Oh no, I'm the one that should be apologizing, you mutter against his shoulder, arms still clasped around his middle like a koala. It's exactly because you're feeling guilty that you can't get yourself away from Yves right now! You're not afraid of facing him or anything like that, you know that he's not angry with you, it's just that... what began as a greeting hug is now an apologizing hug.

Yves understands perfectly. Sweet Yves. He sighs a little, caressing your arm where it wraps around him.

"I'm not going anywhere. The cake is almost done, so you'll get to taste it soon. Well, I'll need to wash my spatula first."

Another tug to escape your grasp, and it proves to be futile again.

"You're... You're so cuddly today! W-What's with you?!"

He might be facing away, but you can't miss the reddening tips of his ears. Your giggle is muffled in his shoulder, and it only makes you inhale more in the sweet aroma of his pastries. You toy with the ties of his apron and hold him in the middle of the kitchen, not wanting to let go. Oh, c'mon, you wouldn't only wash and return the utensil, you'll help him with the rest, too! Surely he wouldn't mind if you sate the need to cuddle him first, seeing that he seems to enjoy that just as much as you...

He's so Kid Goku coded. He'd effortlessly win 1000 gold coins from an elite fighting challenge just to leave the entire reward with a Holy Knight in thanks for telling him where Liones Castle is, just like Goku did the first time he looked for Capsule Corp.

It doesn't matter how you cut his hair--those giant hair wings will find some way to appear from the top of his head.

Not quite an HC but Percival is obligated by me to call King "Old Fart" at some point.

Percival's cooking wasn't anything special until he started cooking for his friends. The moment he cared about their meal experience, his meals became perfection every single time.

Not only is Percy banned from bows and arrows--he's also not allowed to carry Nasiens's medicine bag. He tried making his own drug using the materials inside once. It did not end well for himself.

He's just like Elizabeth in the sense that he never thinks to heal himself unless his closest friends beg him to.

He can learn social manners, though he hardly follows them due to seeing no reason to.

At least one mini jiggly-Percy is always around somewhere. Whether inside Percy's helmet or wandering the area, it serves as a tiny pet for him. He likes petting it and feeding it and whispering to it about all sorts of things late at night. It's a great listener for his friends, too, even when they don't notice it's there.
