I have yet to see anyone talk about it (probably because it's a very basic thing to get) so I'll say it.

We don't know if the past Grimwalkers had different names or not but even if it was just our Hunter it doesn't matter. The thought is there.

He named the substitute of his brother "Hunter".

Even if the first Grimwalkers maybe held actually some place in Belos' heart, now they are just tools.

Belos is a witch hunter and he made (the clones of) his brother into the same. The first one failed him so now he ingrains the idea further and further into the Grimwalkers.

The Grimwalkers never were people to him, but with time they became even less.
