Fanfiction writers watching the slow trickle of Views or Likes on their fics just waiting and hoping for a comment or reblog.

Always grateful for Likes, even more thankful for Reblogs, but Comments (even hidden in tags) can turbo charge and power a writer through even the worst of blocks. Or at the very least turn a mundane day into a fantastic one.

Best case: When I see someone "Like" my fic and then immediately get notified that they've become a "Follower" (Wait, has that even happened?), I'm gonna be just like, "Screw sleep--I'm staying up to write more for this New Bestie Whom I Haven't Even Met."

Dear Readers, please don't underestimate how valuable your comments are to writers. Even if it seems trite or generic, or took you 3 seconds to write or has 1 typo for every 10 words. It is always appreciated and could be the reason someone sits down to complete 1,000 words that day. With little effort, you can become a starving (literally or figuratively) artist's muse.

today is the first anniversary of this blog!!!

it’s been quite the year and i’ve drawn quite a lot!!

i can see some improvement from my art a year ago, but i’ve definitely had some highs and lows.

art is a huge comfort for me, so it’s been a lot of fun making art and posting it here on tumblr :)

it means the world to me that even one person out there likes my art, so the fact that i somehow have over 800 followers is just insane to me!!!

I began this blog just for fun many years back, as a distraction while I was finishing my PhD (which had nothing to do with Japanese art at all). Almost 200 Followers?!

So how the heck do I have almost 200 followers already?!

Thank y’all so much! Writing these lil fics has helped me through a rough patch, and seeing all of your reactions has been amazing 🥰🙏💜

I’m looking forward to sharing more of what I’ve got planned, and I’d like to try some more requests if you’re interested!

I’m rewatching the One Piece anime right now to keep things fresh in my adhd brain, so I’d love to take requests for characters we meet before the Thriller Bark Arc, or in OPLA.

I’ve gotten a couple requests for Law and Luffy, and I will get there! I’ve already started a Luffy fic, but I won’t be posting until I get back to post time skip as I won’t be writing for any characters under 18.

Anyway, I’m so grateful for all of you, this has meant so much to me! I’m going to charge through my rewatch so I can hopefully get to those Law and Luffy requests in time to celebrate 200!

I’d be stoked to work on other requests in the meantime, so I hope to see you in my asks!

Every time I check my tumblr I have so many notifications 😭 thank you lovelies so much, I have so much love for my moots and followers and people who interact with me, you’re all amazing! Keep doing it! I feel so loved 🥰😍😻 Please don’t be shy either! I love talking with all of you. 🩵 I’m going to hopefully write some drabbles later tonight, I got distracted this afternoon with housework. So, expect them late est like after 12am late lol I’m a weird night owl what can I say. I know I have asks for Bi-Han, Syzoth and Reiko so I will maybe try and do a drabble answer for each hottie? At the very least you can expect Bi-Han because I have something in mind for him. I know me planning and not winging it? Unheard of. Once I get some asks out of the way I will focus on my Halloween Special sequel, which I probably will tease all the way up until Halloween because I’m mean. lol I think since people prefer anything spicy I like followed by headcanons and drabbles, I will focus on shorter replies so I can actually produce content in a reasonable time! YAY! Celebrating a few years of being IRL Friendos, and Mootie Broshimiskies!

We're on a beach, because I don't know where else we would be, and I liked the colors. And look, my art is becoming less and less purple! Pretty proud of myself to be fairly honest.

I am realizing, though; how Purple my OC actually is- And yes, I stole some details from Vox. It's allowed. He's my comfort character let me live my life.

I enjoy putting everyone in suits/dresses because they're just so fashionable! I had a small talk with Enby's creator in real life about whether we would look better in a suit vest or jacket, and I think these actually look alright! They look amazing, and I love them both.

This was done on Procreate, and the image was found on Pinterest (The art reference/doom scroll site for artists and everyone else).

Hope it looks alright!

I don't know how to thank you all for being a part of my follower base. But, since I can't thank you all by name, I thought I would just share some hugs.
