I personally headcanon that Linda would be attracted to a partner that other people on the ship think are weird. Like, say, an engineer no one talks to because they're too busy talking to machines that they're fixing. Got a problem with your Pelican? Get Engineer 36-13. They'll talk to it like they're having a conversation, but it'll be done fast.

Linda would 100% be into someone who's comfortable in their own space. People say they're weird? All Linda sees is someone who could care less about other's opinions of them and she respects that. This girl talks to her sniper rifle, Nornfang [seriously she named it in canon and I love her for it.], while polishing and cleaning the weapon, so she gets it. The Spartans low-key stalk people they may be interested in, whether on purpose or accident, who could say but you'll get these moments where you think someone is watching when you're working on the current pelican that had come in.

She finds something captivating about the way you carry yourself. It's as if you were in your own world, a world where only your goals and ambitions mattered. She couldn't help but admire the way you moved with purpose, your every action deliberate and precise when fixing anything handed off to you, much like Linda herself with Nornfang.

So fully expect her to drop from the shadows to corner you against any pelican you might be working on at the moment and ask you to get drinks. And when you absolutely accept [there is no other right answer], she'll nod, give you a time to meet, and walk off.

Dude was literally assigned catholic at birth at got zero say in the matter. I think a lot of the catholic vibes i get are derived from the atmosphere of the comics themselves that is conveyed through just the atmosphere and overall feeling of despair in hell. Hellboy is also a character who feels a lot of guilt for his place in the world, even though he has no desire to fulfill his role as the beast of the apocalypse. A lot of his character conflict comes from demons and witches and other monsters telling him that he was born to commit evil, but hellboy chooses consistently to be a good person.
