IMO the ultimate cheap, nutritious, but low-effort meal is frozen dumplings. . . if you can get them from an asian supermarket they’re like, 5-6 dollars for a whole pack of dumplings that’s like 4ish meals. . . $1.50/meal is like, fast food prices. but nutritionally they have protein and veggies and carbs in there. . . and they’re delicious, and as simple to cook as like, plain buttered pasta or something you just pop them in boiling water.
