3. What work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)?

this is so miserably difficult. kindred is wildly ambitious and i'm so proud of it so far. inevitable is some of the first smut i've written in a long time (and i think it turned out pretty damn good!). i always struggle with the question because i feel like i learn so much from each piece.

I like this questions bc I shit on the USMNT all the time but I find some of the players very likeable! Probably Christian Pulisic?? I also (kind of??) care about Weston McKennie and Gio Reyna and Brendan Aaronson. My favorite player for my mls team is Christian Ramirez but he doesn’t really get called up!

My first favorite player was kind of a tie between Steven Gerrard and Gareth Bale. Came into football just around Bale’s heyday at Spurs and I came to Liverpool/Liverpool came to me around the same time. Bale broke my heart a lot over the years so luckily I recovered from that early obsession lol. But Stevie very quickly became like my soulmate player and I laid in bed and cried the whole day after he said he was leaving for LA. Other early faves include Coutinho, Theo Walcott, Chicharito, and Kun. The early days before a lot of hatred and rivalry had set into me lol.
