this is an INCREDIBLE prompt and flustered Skeppy is *chef's kiss*

Skeppy really hadn’t accounted for the tattoo artist being so hot.

He’d thought everything else about it through, thoroughly. He was 18 and getting his first tattoo and he didn’t want it to be impulsive. He wanted everything to go smoothly so his mom couldn’t tell him I-told-you-so when something went wrong.

But then the artist—a guy apparently just named “Bad,” according to his name tag—tied up his long hair and rolled up his sleeves, revealing surprisingly toned arms covered in intricate tattoos, and Skeppy was losing it.

He got very quiet and focused, trying and failing to keep his eyes off the guy as he worked on him. It was, at least, distracting him from the pain to be so caught up in having Bad leaning over him, tattooing a floral design over his ribs. Skeppy wondered what he thought of him, if he was impressed at all when he took off his shirt. He was toned, too, just not as much. He had a little bit of hair on his chest, but again, not much. 

Bad looked older, though, and probably just saw Skeppy as a kid. Life was so unfair, putting this gorgeous man right in front of Skeppy, and yet keeping him so far out of reach.

Then the needle dug a little deeper or brushed over a nerve or something, and Skeppy tightened up at the pain. He held in a yelp and took a deep breath, forcing his muscles to relax.

“Good boy,” Bad murmured, not taking his eyes off his work, and Skeppy’s brain short-circuited.

Oh, he was lost. His mind was soup, face burning red as those words played again and again in his head, layering naughty images on top of them.

The remaining hour of the session seemed to stretch on forever, the torture of Bad’s attractiveness and Skeppy’s dirty mind almost worse than the pain, but finally, Bad gave his work the final wipe and told him they were done—for today. He’d be coming back soon to have the color done.

“You did really well,” Bad told him.

“Yeah?” The word coming out embarrassingly breathy, so Skeppy gulped, then said with a steadier voice: “I mean, thank you.”

“Of course. I’ll be looking forward to seeing you again soon.” Bad gave him a wink, and Skeppy melted all over again.

How was he supposed to survive another appointment?

@scruboaks is my own personal sideblog where i post my own personal photography, which i started a little while back to make it easier for me to find all my photos all in one place. i reblog them here sometimes if i feel like they fit the vibe. i am the photographer for everything on that blog. i've made posts a few times on this blog about posting my photography at @scruboaks for those interested in following and seeing more of my own photography, but i don't keep it in my header all the time because i like having a smaller audience there, and i don't link here from there because i don't really say much over there outside the photos themselves. it's less intimidating for me to post things with a smaller pool of eyes on every post. however if you pull up my main blog @esleep on desktop (that is specifically esleep.tumblr.com to view my desktop theme and not the terrible identical mobile version tumblr forces on everyone) and look at the sidebar, you'll see it linked from there as one of my sideblogs alongside this one. (it's not in my pinned post or description, it's specifically linked in the sidebar on my desktop theme. the slight obfuscation is on purpose - again, because smaller audiences make it easier for me to share my photos.) also if you are actually looking at the tags on the photos i've reblogged from my scruboaks blog to here, i have said in those tags multiple times 'this is my photo sideblog'. most recently one i reblogged in sept 2023 so i guess im due for another reminder.

reminder for the unaware: @scruboaks is my side blog solely for my own photography. i occasionally reblog things here but the majority stays over there.

Puss in Boots…walks alone

A little warm up of mine the past week between applications- I just really love this cat yall. I keep thinking about whatever happened between the shrek films and this one that made him leave. The vet scene really made me go “oH?” When Puss (perfectly animated btw) is unable to mention a friend he could go to in these times. I have thoughts on what made him leave that I’ve seen discussed on here to and I really hope it’s addressed in the next film if we get one! I just had this sad image of him leaving far far away in my head for a while. The response I received on my last fanart poster is honestly overwhelming I’m so thankful for all the kindness in the tags. That’s something I never expected to happen on here with my art so I genuinely appreciate it so much. So yeah expect more of this legend okay?

Nowadays I keep my hyperfixations/interests private because 99 percent of the time they have nothing to do with what I draw and feel way out of place plus I want to keep my stuff mostly original and focus on my characters but right now I need something desperately to distract me from recants events so hares a random Rayman design I made up yes, I like the eggplant game.

most likely I am not going to develop this more this was only to keep me from breaking down, but I am going to take aspects of this design and put them into something original later.
