for the three sentence fic thingy: fwhimmy and siren au?

“Now,” says the person fWhip least wants to see right now, “how did this happen?”

“The well or the magic?” He grumbles. He wants to cross his arms but he’s kind of afraid that he’ll move and slip and scrape his entire back against the rocks.

Jimmy raises an eyebrow. The gesture’s only visible because of the candle he’s holding up. It makes his brown eyes glow, like honey in the sunlight—

fWhip’s been spending too much time with Pix.

“The well,” he says.

“I don’t want to talk about it,” fWhip replies. He pauses. “Not the curse?”

“My sister turned into a blue sea monster,” Jimmy reminds him. Okay. Okay, yeah. That’s… yeah, alright. “I’ve been kind of expecting the same thing to happen to me. I guess you make sense too, what with the salmon thing.”

He slows down for the last part of the sentence. Jimmy looks down at fWhip. fWhip stares up at him. He’s pretty sure they’re both pondering if Jimmy’s weird Codfather duty to kill all salmon extends to fWhip now as well. He hopes it doesn’t. He’s not even sure he’s a salmon on technicality.

Jimmy seems to agree, because he shrugs, “Should I be jealous?”

“Don’t be. It’s inconvenient.”

“Alright,” Jimmy tilts his head. “Can’t sirens thrall people? Are you going to thrall me?”

“If I could do that, I’d have told you to go drown already.”

“You tell me to drown every other day,” Jimmy reminds him, unaffacted. fWhip sighs. He must not be intimidating, trapped as he is on the bottom of a rather shallow well. “Your seal is very nice, by the way.”

“Thanks?” He blinks. “Are you recycling the wax?”

“Obviously,” Jimmy almost looks offended at the question. “You, Joel and Sausage are basically the source for all our sealing wax at this point.”

fWhip turns his head, just slightly, just so he can’t see Jimmy’s amusement. That’s… that’s a little embarrassing. He’ll have to tone down the threats through letter.

“Are you going to help me out or not?”

Jimmy doesn’t reply immediately, which worries him a little. He wants to believe their relationship is good enough right now that Jimmy won’t let him die at the bottom of a well. Maybe. Hopefully. It’s impossible to know, with Jimmy.

“Please,” he adds through gritted teeth. Surely an appeal to Jimmy’s pride will work. He really doesn’t want to die in this well. It’s cold.

“Alright,” Jimmy says. He sounds like he’s smiling. He sounds annoying.

fWhip tries very hard not to be impressed at how easily Jimmy lifts him up.

what age range do you think Remus would regress to, and would he and little!Sirius get along well? i keep imagining them regressing together with Remus being his little baby brother, James and/or Lily as their caregivers; working through their trauma and fear of abandonment together 🥲

I’m not sure if you like writing about Remus as a regressor and it’s completely valid if not, I’m just screaming into the void, imagining him having a second shot at being cared for and reclaiming the childhood innocence he had up to 3 years old XHAJDHAHHD

Hmm I think he would be like 2-5 maybe? Since it’s the time of his life he associates with trauma most, he got bit at the age of 4 but I think the memories are all blurred and he just has a bad connection to his toddler years.

He and little sirius would be so cute together. I think little Sirius has a lot more energy than little Remus, he is loud and mischievous. while Remus is like “im just gonna sit and play with this train doing tiny chu chu noises”, sirius is more like “im gonna make this train jump between these couches while doing really loud noises to really make sure everyone knows that the train crashed”. Sirius would take care of Remus since he is more soft spoken and is just that quiet kid that rarely complains but is also sensitive. I feel like Remus would cry if his toy breaks and little Sirius would comfort him and try to fix it.

Sirius: oh noo moo’y it broke?

Remus: *crying*

Sirius: it’s okay!! Pads will fix it! *wipes tears from Remus’ cheek*

Remus: pweas

Sirius: here! It’s done! You can stop crying now *pecks Remus’ cheek*

Remus: thanko pa’fo

Lily and James as their cgs would have their hands full for suuuure, especially because Sirius is always convincing Remus to do things against the rules and make him stand as watch. They would sometimes fight over a certain toy and then find themselves in a tug of war about it so James would have to step in and make them friends again. When Sirius inevitably gets seated in the corner of the room because he did something against the rules, Remus would try to cheer him up by making stupid faces and stroking his hair.

Sometimes when Remus is much smaller (and sometimes non-verbal) than Sirius, he is watched over by the latter a lot more than usual. Sirius would even ask him if he wants his baba and then when Remus nods he would either try making it himself, and make a whole mess in the end, or he would ask James or Lily to make it for Remus. Sirius would try to keep Remus company and hold his hand everywhere so he doesn’t get lost, or scared.

Sirius: lilsiie baba!

Lily: already? You already had one just now…

Sirius: pweassse petty please!!!

Lily: no sweetheart you can’t have so much milk at once

Sirius: it’s for moonyy! Baba moony

During bedtime Sirius refuses to go to bed while Remus only whines because he had already fallen asleep on the sofa. Once Sirius hears how Lily is praising Remus for being good, he hurries to bed as well. Brushing their teeth would however be a challenging task for Remus, it made his mouth feel weird and he didn’t like the way the toothbrush feels on his gums. So he would always whine and if young enough, he would cry. But eventually he would finally be dressed in his comfy pjs while Sirius walks back and forth half naked asking for his paci, or his sippy or his foggie.

In conclusion remus is the sleepy kiddo who would love to jsut go to a zoo and say hi to all the animals, watch a movie, do a puzzle and cuddle all day. While Sirius is the run around in an amusement park all day type of little, play until you drop basically, make two figurines fight, wear someone else’s shoes for funsies and make a whole mess! They would get along more than you think, despite their differences.

Oh! Royal au and modern au for harringrove. Royal aus are cheesy by default, they're kind of my guilty pleasure lol

I was either thinking of an AU where modern!Billy meets a modern!royal!Steve (let's say uni or a private college) and they fall in love. Since Billy's not of royal blood and Steve's side of the family is stuck in tradition, more or less homophobic, and suspicious of Billy's "true intentions" at least, they would definitely give them a hard time. Not to mention the press following and harassing the royal Steve Harrington wherever he goes, making *shocking* headlines about him and of course later, his suspected "common" lover Billy as well.

Or it could be a time travel fic where modern!Billy goes back in time (either via a time machine or time loop) and somehow ends up working as a stable boy/butler/bodyguard for the historical, snobby royal!Steve. Steve's just at that perfect age to start settling down and "producing new heirs" for the royal family (his father is that grade-A asshole) but Steve's more interested in purchasing new thoroughbreds for his horse stables and fooling around with the young and "capable" stable boys (who are then fired and replaced by his rigorous father). Now modern Billy might seem a little clumsy and an oddball in the eyes of the royals at first and has trouble fitting in. But he works hard to earn his bread, and he's confident and handsome -is something that royal!Steve finds irresistible. They slowly fall in love and become secret lovers. Then Steve sooner or later discovers that Billy's from the future. He obviously doesn't believe Billy at first and thinks he had too many mushrooms. But the more and more Steve hears Billy's stories about the modern world and its many possibilities, he can't help but think and dream about the different opportunities he could achieve, breaking free from his family's chains - maybe even getting a chance to express his love for Billy without having to hide it (in his time, two men loving each other would be punishable by death). Later on, they might even discover another time loop somewhere close, plan their escape and then slip through, falling through our time. Royal!Steve, like modern Billy in the past, would have a lot to learn about our time and customs and his struggle is real, but Billy would be patient with him, teach him, and support him at every step.

(these AUs could work the other way around too but somehow i'm just really into royal!steve, sooo yeah~)
