Hi dear! I just checked my mods folder, it's only 27 GBs lmao! I honestly thought it would be much bigger since I got so many new cc. Also thank you so much! I do really appreciate it <3 Sometimes I'm even not really satisfied with how my pics coming oooouttt slkdgjksldgsgd ngl. Anyway, the chain is made by me real quick and I didn't post it anywhere, sorry. :(

it’s gotta read a little skeen heartbreak please!!

oh, this one is actually kind of a disjointed catch all of some skeen/nemik scenes that I want to link up somehow … in the end Skeen walks away from Nemik and the rebellion and breaks his own heart. there’s this bit about the prison tattoos …

Nemik’s hand slips up his forearm, coming round to the soft inner side. 

The trail Nemik’s fingertips take over his skin makes Skeen’s arm twitch. Softly, the touch settles over the dark shape of the tattoo of the Hand. Nemik’s fingers glide over where the fingers of the tattoo rest, like a ghostly handshake. He can’t help but turn himself over more, offering up more of his marked skin. Nemik presses two fingers higher, up to where the stylized circle of the tattoo sits over the most pliant part of his arm. It had hurt like a bitch to put the ink under his skin right there. Now, Nemik’s index and middle finger push down on the spot in the crook of his arm. He would never try to hurt him. It’s an exploration of depth, to understand what the shape of him is here, if the image of the hand is hiding something underneath. The fingers let up after a few seconds, then push into the spot again. They’re calloused from fixing mechanical gear and assembling weapons for long hours, and there are minuscule rough edges from where Nemik sometimes worries at them with his teeth. Now, these edges scratch along a patch of rough skin right next to the Hand. Skeen has to hold his breath for a second. He can’t remember when he was touched so carefully and intimately for the last time, even if the only contact between them is limited to where hand meets arm.Nemik spreads his own fingers again and his small hand covers the whole image now. Skeen likes it to be covered, as if the mere presence of the kid could cover what the Hand stands for, what he had done for it. Skeen swallows heavily and an unwelcomed thought of the other black mark, not the bar on his chest, but the lower one, the four sided one, assaults him. That one couldn’t be covered up, not like this, with someone else’s absolution.

Hello! Just stopping by with a question about writing XD Do you have any characters who's role grew bigger than you expected? Any surprising changes your characters went through during the writing process?

and oh boy do I!! I do have a definite weakness for some of my side characters and so many of them end up being bigger than I expect lmao

The biggest one that comes to mind, tho, is Merlie. She was a side character in my first ever nano novel (so we are going back years) and was kinda mysterious, clearly up to something, meant as a foil to the actual main character and did end up getting sacrificed in MC's place. like that wasn't exactly what I had planned for her at the beginning but also I didn't have a plan at the beginning.

Cut to the year after when I was writing the next nano and another novel and I went "hey wouldn't it be fun if Merlie turned up here also" because I was toying with interlinking everything and WCC was also going strong so I could make it fit in fun ways

Which made it a prequel, so Merlie was kicking about and I went "oh she's a spy that explains a few things" like actually what she was doing in two different countries in consecutive years and why she knew things etc etc

and then I got to the end of that book and the MC there went "so I'm in love with Merlie" and I, newly realised Queer, went "ah shit I can't kill her off that would be mean" because I am weak

and I still haven't gone back to rewrite either of those novels yet but I probably should because that needs fixed and also it's been like. over ten years. But also it's been ten years and like. I'd have to read old stuff, you feel me?

It’s a bit of a reinterpretation of some Aegi clothes that you can get at character creation.

10 Facts about Kari and Bucky

Considering these two have not had a truly official start to their relationship as far as the modern MCU is concerned, this is going to be tricky. I've been writing out of sequence at points in their story, so I need to do a timeline to get things in the correct order.

The Brooklyn Boy and the Girl from Naas did not exactly hit it off right away back when they met in the 1940s. Like Steve, Bucky had his eyes firmly planted on Peggy Carter during their first meeting. It helped that Peggy was dressed to the nines and Kari was dressed more like a motor pool mechanic. Kari also thought Bucky was a tad full of himself where the ladies were concerned. And Bucky more than once said Kari was a bit pushy and loud.

Kari doesn’t talk much about it, but she vividly remembers when Bucky started to see her in a different light. The Howling Commandos had been in a bit of a rough fight, and a few of them were in the infirmary after being patched up. When the unit was asleep, Kari walked the ward healing the hurt soldiers until she ran smack into the Peggy, Steve and Bucky who had been watching her from a doorway. Peggy had seen her do it before, and she had tried to keep Steve and Bucky from walking in on Kari. It was kind of hard to miss a woman with glowing green hands in a darkened medical ward.

A few days before his fated fall from that train, Bucky had asked Kari if she would join him for a drink after the mission. A night to remember under the stars. A bit of conversation. Some likely very bad booze. How could she say no?

The night of the fall, Kari came clean to Peggy, Howard and Steve about some of her history because she wanted to go and search for Bucky. She chose not to explain everything in minute detail. They somehow managed to keep General Phillips in the dark. She never found Bucky but saw enough blood to convince her an animal had taken his remains.

Bucky and Kari almost killed each other several times during the years between the accident and their current lives in the modern MCU. She never knew it was him until their fight in November 1991 in Katowice, Poland.

In the flow of the main parts of the story, Bucky has no clue yet about the fact Kari has parts of herself scattered around the multiverse. She knows what they are doing at any given time, and they can reach back to her as well if needed. Bucky also has no idea that some of those parts are involved with his variants in other worlds. Kari does, and part of her is terrified for him to find out any of it yet.

Kari was the one who nudged Bucky to go adopt a cat after he kept playing with her cat Hickory all the time. He adopted Alpine the Christmas before their first kiss.

There are times Kari flinches if Bucky moves a certain way. He choked her during several of their fights, and the “muscle memory” kicks in more often than she wants to admit. She isn’t sure if he’s noticed yet, but she figures he probably has.

They have not been on an actual date in any of my posted stories or my WIPs. For some reason I am having a very hard time with that concept.

I think the saddest thing about these two right now is that I am not sure they will get their “happily ever after” in any story I write. They may have brief glimpses of what happiness is or at least what it is perceived to be by the world around them, but the nature of the MCU makes such a thing a long shot at times. I hope I can, one day, give them a reason to smile.

OOOOO well 3 of my ocs r locked up and have no phones and 1 is set in the 80s so we've got the main four left OFHDKFHDJDHD

kari immediately its twitter she's probably really pissed with how the app has fallen and crashed and burned cause now how is she supposed to bow at the feet of all women she sees on her timeline. trin definitely some really shit gacha game like not even the most popular ones but something REAL bad that she has decided she loves and made part of her identity. vin has like negative 4 hours screentime his most used would just be messages 😭 he is OFFLINE!!!! pogos would probably be some like asmr sounds app to have rain playing in his ears or whale sounds yknow whatever it is ppl listen to for background noise

3. Have you received any bookmark notes? Which is your favorite and why?

Okay, so, I went back through three pages of my most recent works on ao3, and I found exactly one bookmark with notes, so I guess this is my favourite:

6. Describe what you do and your feelings after posting a chapter. (For example: When do you usually post a fic/chapter update? How do you celebrate a posting? Are you the type to refresh constantly?, etc.)

I usually try to post in the afternoon, because I think that's when most people are online and theoretically have time to read, but with work and especially the amount of late shifts I work atm it doesn't always work out that way. And I do like posting just before going off to work (which is usually around 1 PM lately), because at work I can't obsessively refresh ao3 and ff.de xD

7. What do you love most about being a fic writer for your fandom?

The way we as different authors but also as fellow fans really feed on each other in this fandom. Like, the amount of stories I've read, that inspired me to write something new, a couple tags or a random post that gave me an idea, discussions with you or Tiargo, just, we're a small enough group that i can actually follow most of the fandom and that we can play off of each other.

Of course xD Maybe not the funniest/most heartfelt/most interesting snippet in the world, but I'm planning to post judge, jury and executioner some time over the weekend (considering I have more than enough time to finish the editing round now 🙈), so you're getting a teaser for that:

Part one of “As It Was” made me cry. Like sitting on my sofa sniffling and scrolling. This kind of angst always get me the woooooorst (best). Relationships, especially marriages that are in that state of limbo 😭 The way that you write the hesitancy, the conflicting feelings, wanting to be who you were before and you can’t. The feeling of wanting to be who you were before but being so used to the way things have become. I need several days to recover lol I can’t wait to keep reading
