Hello! I am so sorry if this is not the correct place, but I wasn't quite sure where it would be appropriate to message/contact you. (Please let me know otherwise!)
Regarding your Johnny's pants recolour mod, I was wondering if it would be okay for me to resize it to fit Kerry's model? I know that his model is slimmer than the vanilla male model, and I would really love to put him in those pants for a few screenshots. If you're okay with that? If not, no worries!
I hope you are having a lovely day ☺️
Heya!! Thanks for reaching out <3 [Tumblr Asks are totally fine! But another way to contact me is through discord if we share a mutual server! :>] That's totally okay with me! :D Feel free to reach out if you have any issues either via DM or pinging me in the Cyberpunks Discord :> Cheers Choom!

Hope this doesn't come across as unsolicited. aside from the Grindstone there are a number of fight club/sparring events on Crystal that seem like more Jak's vibe. Even if she doesn't fight some smaller venues would probably give you room to use her other hooks to start conversations
The only time I'll consider anything unsolicited in the rude way is if it IS rude (or creepy) - so no worries there!! <3 Besides, I've been quietly lamenting my own oc's stubbornness in my notes, so I'm open to ideas.
And not to seem like I'm brushing suggestions aside - but funnily enough, fight clubs are up there for Jak as one of those things she considers a waste of time. Pointless fighting gains you nothing, in her mind - she's spent years training hard not so she can be a tough punch-girl... but because she was small and afraid, once. And people showing off that they can fight well in the controlled space of a spar kind of just bores her/puts her off - anyone can do that. Any simple beast of the land can rut and fight... so what? (But that's part of why I made A'vaanoh! I wanted an oc that was more willing to go to different places - less paranoid, less stuck in weird beliefs and expectations. Though I love Jak best, and she's just a pain in the ass to get out to places.)
With my FC shuttered/no longer running events to bring people to the jazz club/bar/restaurant that her Yakuza gang runs... its gotten harder to meet people. I mean, the fc house is still there, and makes a good backdrop for RP. But it's just me these days, so it's hard to aspire to host any kind of true event anymore. Jak is just so anti-social that it's hard to get the ball rolling - but she's never going to work on that if I can't finagle her into situations where she has to work on it, lol.
That said, I've been trying to brainstorm a way that isn't 'people just have to come to her', since that feels unfair? I'm keen on having her stir up trouble in Ul'dah, and making that a plot to bring others into... but I have no idea what to do, ha! I've had this formless idea for a long time of 'Jak wants to stick it to the wealthy elite in Ul'dah for how they treated her/other refugees', but I feel like I'd have to cook up a whole lot. A villain or two or three, schemes, NPCs... and I'm usually the one who builds on the bones of a plot, so I'm having a hard time with the formless inspirational building blocks of that idea.
I have, for well over a year now, actually had it listed in my RP hooks on my carrd that she's seeking someone who can ICly either teach her more about magic (she can't use it, and the aetherologist she was seeing ghosted, though she'd maybe see another), or who can/will make/provide for her something she can use to...as she would say, "bypass magical locks". She's aiming for high end cat burglary, after all, and figures Ul'dah's richest won't merely rely on mundane protection for their prized collections. She wants to know how to disable wards/runes, what to look out for, etc. Thieving from Magic Practitioners, it's a high level course no one seems to teach... (this feeds directly into her desire to do more fuckery around Ul'dah - and it would make her have to get to know someone, and it's no fun to just snap your fingers and know how to do a thing...I thought it would be fun if she learned a skill from another ne'er do well of some kind! That's the good shit!)
All that said...I appreciate the input! Now if I can figure something out to drag a paranoid, mistrustful little woman out of her safe zone(s)...lmao

hi! re: your tags on the esim post: did the promo code end up not working for you? some people have shared their nomad referral codes in the notes so you should still be able to get $3 off your first purchase that way but i'd like to know so i can have my posts as up to date as possible. thank you for bringing it up!
the code didn't work for me, yeah — though i realize now that I don't think this was my first purchase with nomad, i purchased an esim sometime after they first started requesting them, but i dont remember if it was with nomad or not. if somebody who hasn't purchased an esim yet could check that would probably be best! either way ill probably remove the tag so I don't accidentally spread any misinformation!

Any advice for someone new to pixel art?
there is a lot of ground to cover with that topic BUT I’LL GIVE IT MY BEST SHOT
Personal recommendation: If you want to get into Pixelart due to being inspired by gaming, find a game whose pixelart you enjoy and reference it's style relentlessly. Have the art zoomed in next to your main work, study how the artist created the effects they did, and try to emulate it. Sprite edits can also be great for this, like Pokémon Sprite Fusions and the like. If you can find a full guide for the style, all the better. I originally got into spriting using this old guide for Gen 4 Pokémon sprites, courtesy the mod of Cave of Dragonflies. https://www.dragonflycave.com/spriting-guide#other
Sadface_RL also has a great modern collection of free general-use tutorials as well:
https://twitter.com/Sadface_RL
Ideally, you want to either create until you can replicate the style well, or until you find the style too stifling; in either case, you can then take what you've learned from the style and apply it elsewhere to start developing your own look. Embrace art studies if you're at an impasse, and you'll learn a lot!
If you're looking for programs, you can find a list on Lospec here: https://lospec.com/pixel-art-software-list/
Most pixelartists I talk to tend towards using Aseprite, but any program can work if it allows you to disable anti-aliasing, including MS Paint and even graph paper. Never save your art as a JPEG since compression will ruin the pixel clarity, and scale your work up in intervals of 100% if you want to share it online to similarly prevent compression.
Most importantly, have fun with the process, and let your passion guide you. Find what you enjoy making and commit to it, and you'll figure it out on your own terms. Godspeed and good luck, and feel free to ask other pixelartists for advice if you find yourself hitting a wall.
Thanks for the ask!

ok so like, imagine a Fionna and Cake like WTDW AU where it's revealed that the "fictional" characters Lewis created turned out to be real the whole time and they exist in another universe (said universe i would imagine would've been like fnaf world in some regards)
Hmmm, would this be a "Lewis can see into another world but thinks it is a dream" situation or a "there is another world in your magic brain" situation?
Maybe Litho is trying to get to Dreamworld to harness its magic?
I am curious to hear more about what you have in mind, Anon.

Hi I saw ur tags on my Itztlacoliuhqui post asking for webcomics inspired by mesomerican mythology!!! I have a webcomic that's about a girl living in a weird city that's inspired by mesomerican myths!!! I also talk about my Mixtec language!! I also recommend the comic codex black! It's about a Zapotec girl looking for her dad in precolumbian Mexico!!!
Oh, NICE, thank you!!!
I've actually seen Codex Black around, but I kept losing the url of the creator and the name of the comic in my head (who is on Tumblr somewhere-now that I have the name of the comic again, I can find them easier) so that's nice!
As for your webcomic, I'll have to add that to my reading list too! I'm always up for more comics (AND other mediums) that aren't European-focused, especially when it comes to indigenous/black/asian history/mythology/magic systems! I have more than enough books and webcomics on my favorite European histories/magic systems/societies.

What other ships do you like?
I can get behind Jerza (given the whole, it wasn't Jellal's fault.. BUT, it still doesn't sit right with me entirely that, Erza hardly ever get's to see him. Mashima only brings him in once in a blue moon so.. they don't even feel like a couple.) In other words, No other ship holds my heart like Grayza does. ❤ & that's being honest haha I really don't have any other ships I pine for.
..Well actually, there is C.C. & Lelouch (CluClu) from Code Geass - They would be my strong second!

top five movies?
Thanks for the ask! I got this message right before I fell asleep last night so sorry for just now answering. In working through this list, it became pretty clear what I enjoy most about movies.
Knives Out (2019) Beautiful sets, fun script with biting social commentary, solid twisty mystery, excellent cast that's clearly having an absolute blast, and a great soundtrack? Yeah this is a winner. Really the only thing I would change is Marta's tell. I hated the vomit gag.
Pride and Prejudice (2005) Is the BBC 1995 miniseries more book accurate? Yes. But Joe Wright nails the aesthetic of the era even if he's not quite as "accurate." Gorgeous cinematography, another excellent ensemble cast, a script that distills the story to its best elements, and captivating music? You had me at hello.
The Lord of the Rings (2001-2003) I'm counting them as one and I'm referring to the extended editions. The ultimate medieval fantasy genre epic that needs no introduction. The books are great too, but idk for my enjoyment value you can't beat the movies. I really can't think of how to make them better. Yes, there's always additional lore to add and characters that get cut for time and clarity (sorry Tolkien, you know you ramble) but the choices that were made are excellent.
The Princess Bride (1987) I can't tell you how many times I watched this movie growing up because my mom loves it. This film didn't do great in theaters but exploded on VHS. I can practically quote the entire thing. Again, the snarky dialogue is 2/3 the fun. Another great cast. I love turning genre tropes on their head and having fun. More good music and a fun blend of good production choices mixed with intentionally campy elements. The comedy with a heart of gold that sneaks up on you.
Shrek 2 (2004) An oddball choice. Honestly I prefer this one to the original. Great animation for the era (honestly watch it again, it's almost 20 years old and it still looks good. RIP me noticing that it's that old), great original story, the jokes are sharp, the voice acting is fun, and every song is a banger. Seriously, the Holding Out For A Hero cover is unironically fantastic.
You come from my side blog, so you might be surprised by no Top Gun or Top Gun: Maverick. Honestly, TG:M is up there on the list and would make my top 10 because it's a fun watch. OG Top Gun is so very 80s and was my dad's favorite movie in the 90s so I saw it a lot. It gets points for soundtrack, cast, and cinematography but lacked in story and gets a heavy cringe ding imo. Honestly he might have watched Hot Shots just as much so sometimes I forget what was in TG and what was actually HS lol.

hi do you really have iron maiden's discography memorized because that's very impressive and are you including only albums and eps or their other projects too
sorry im a literal stranger and i hope this isn't weird i just saw your answer in the tags on that post and my jaw dropped
Well…. Something like that. I know all of the studio albums and live albums, I don’t know every single side project they’ve ever done separately from the band.
