Captain and Lieutenant of Squad 9

" Protect the Soul Society AND THE CAPTAIN at all costs! ".

Requested by: @mediocremelatonin235 Thank you! As there are two characters at the same time, the illustration is a little more elaborate has an insane amount of love and work it was very entertaining to do this as a Lieutenant-Captain team!!!

☀️ 🐍 Curiosities: ok, this is going to be long.

Even though Kalim is the Captain, he never fights or has been seen fighting. Therefore, Jamil is VERY close to the power that a captain can have. He also acts like one most of the time and subordinates follow his orders. They think that their lieutenant is very honorable to do that... but Jamil believes that he has no choice.

The lieutenant and subordinates of this squad are in charge of defending Soul Society, therefore, they are always prepared for battle. Anyway they are easily distracted if someone attacks or goes directly Kalim.

They are also in charge of writing a magazine that is used as communication media in the Soul Society. All Captains, Lieutenants and Shinigami can participate. It is much less serious than it seems: Trey publishes recipes, Idia "Video Game Guides", Crewel fashion and trends, Malleus articles about gargoyles, Sam gossip... etc.

☀️ Captain Kalim Al-Asim ☀️

One day he simply appears as the new Captain. Nobody knew where (except Jamil) but since he's nice, they didn't hesitate to accept him.

Very calm and happy. He does not give direct orders to his subordinates.

He knows Jamil from before. More than a subordinate, he treats him like a friend or brother. Also to the other shinigamis.

Their lack of Authority is notable among other captains, they do not know how that squad works.

He has an excellent relationship with everyone in Soul Society. Is also usually invited to other scuads.

He is not a captain who is going to attack, prefers to talk.

Kalim seems to have powers related to the element water.

Kalim was never seen fighting, but this is actually because SOMEONE always fights for him.

He doesn't seem to excel at any particular Shinigami ability.

Asim family specializes specifically in "something", which is why there is a unique sword that belongs to them (It is inherited).

🐍 Lieutenant Jamil Viper 🐍

Jamil is very good at his job, but hates everything related to the famous "magazine".

"THE CAPTAINS REALLY WANT TO PUBLISH THIS??!!"

From reading all this crap, Jamil is usually very well informed. Proclaims not know... but knows all the shinigami gossip.

Publishes a series of Articles under different names. Jamil flatly denies it. It has not yet been discovered which one it is specifically.

Excellent in all Shinigami skills, especially Kido (Spells that require a certain level of power and skill). Usually uses mainly the fire type, and without need of incantations.

He is also very athletic and an incredible planner.

Jamil hates people who enter a fight quickly... but he is the first to attack from behind.

"Honor in a Battle? Dont make me laugh."

One of the lieutenants with a Bankai, along with Lilia and Cater.

Formidable and powerful Shinigami, could even be a great enemy for Soul Society... but he is too busy taking care of his Captain and Scuad.

He was the one chosen to be captain of his squad before Kalim arrives.

Jamil: ... *adjusts the kimono of a subordinate shinigami* don't be sloppy. Shinigami:Thank you mom. Jamil: ... *stare* what did you say? Shinigami: NOTHING

What do you think Warabis hobbies are (to go along with the last post about Ikkans hobbies)

SORRY FOR KEEPING YOU WAITING, AND I DON'T HAVE ART TO MATCH ALONG BUT A LOT OF RANDOM WARABIS ;;

1) He's mostly a really dedicated man to his job so usually he spends most of his day doing music for other ppl and once he's done he just, does more music, to himself

2) Late at night he can enjoy fast pace videogames like binding of Isaac, Osu,or geometry dash, he likes them difficult so he can stimulate his bored brain. And other he loves to play god in the Sims, and yes, he has a world were he and Ikkan are living together, as vampires and in love. BUT DON'T TELL HIM!!!

3) Stationaries, decora stickers and school supplies are his favorite thing to pass by and waste some cash on it, he doesn't even draw or uses the utilities he bought, he just think they're really cute.

4)Collect merch and this one is a bit od a secret, he started pretty young with a friend to college sqsq merch and he has now 3 full cabinets and 1 life-sized Ikkan figure, he really admires that band

5)other hobby he has is participating on auctions, this is also part of his job in a certain way but at least he can appreciate it

6) and his favorite of all!!!! Going to classic muaic concert. My man regected modernity from his parents but that doesn't mean he can enjoy a bit of piano

"I missed you so much Y/N," Kokushibo said as he hugged you tightly. "Missed you too Kokushibo," you replied while hugging him back gently. You and Kokushibo had been childhood friends, and it had been a while since you guys have seen each other.

Kokushibo never talked about his past, but he would always reminisce about the times he had with you as a child. He often wonders if you are even alive still, and wonders how it would be like if you are here right beside him. But now that you are being wrapped around his arms, and him knowing that you are still here, he feels less lonely.

"Haha, we have a lot of catching up to do Kokushibo," you said while smiling at him. "Indeed we do," he replied while also smiling. Kokushibo always dreamt about reuniting with you, and he thought that he would never see you again. But now, he is very excited that you two are reunited.

Kokushibo patted your head gently before you purred, due to you being part cat and demon. "Haha, cute," Kokushibo teased. "Hmph, still a tease as always," you said while crossing your arms with a flustered face. Indeed, Kokushibo was a tease when you two were younger. He would always find a way to get you flustered.

"Aww, you're so cute Y/N," Kokushibo teased once more. "Yeah yeah, keep on teasing, I'll get back at you sooner or later," you replied while still crossing your arms. "Hahaha, come on Y/N, let's go to my house," Kokushibo said before giving you his hand to hold. "Hmph, very well," you said before holding his hand and going with him to his house.

It's been a few months since you've reunited with Kokushibo, and you two decided to go on a few dates before officially becoming a couple.

finally, he had you. he had you in a vulnerable spot. you were in his bed, lying there, your back to him.

such a stupidly naive human.

belphegor reached over and grabbed the knife he prepared for this moment and wrapped his arms around you. you snuggled back into him, and he had to keep himself from chuckling.

so trusting.

"so... stupid..."

he plunged the knife into your stomach and twisted it into you. your eyes shot open and you stared down at the wound.

belphie was waiting for the scream. the crying, the pleading, the fear and pain.

but none of that came.

"mmmn... belphie...? if you wanted to confess, you should do it while im awake, you know?"

huh?

belphie stared down at you and watched as you turned over to see him. you smiled softly and reached up to touch his face.

"what the fuck...?"

"oh... i suppose you wouldn't know, huh? pull the knife out, and ill show you."

he complied and watched as your wound closed up on its own.

"see?"

"...what was that thing you said?"

"oh? oh, about confessing to me?"

"yeah, that." he huffed "what the fuck does that mean?"

you chuckled. "well, clearly i am not a human. see, with my kind this is how we show our love." you flipped him onto his back and straddled his chest.

his face flushed brightly and he looked away. "wait... really?"

"yeah really." you chuckled and relaxed, leaning back. "so come on... show me all the love you have, belphie."
