its technically just modern canon for king

when he goes to college he streams in his free time n much after that

he streams a lot of minecraft, human fall flat, sims, etc

he usually just messes around and doesnt play the game correctly at ALL

“’feed the sims?’ im sorry i don’t speak stupid” *chat screams*

“‘stop building thanos statue and beat the goddamn game?’ that’s not how you play minecraft at all”

he also likes to mess with kids on roblox

anyway

if you know streamers, he’s got a mix of ted nivison, jschlatt and carson energy

spot plays with him and sometimes he’ll stream too

spot owns a big minecraft server with all the newsies in it

it’s absolute chaos

‘spot put firespread on’ ‘why?’ ‘please’ ‘why?’ ‘i just want to set an entire forest on fire is that too much to ask?’ ‘yes it is king actually-’

davey is the only one who does his job in the server

‘king why’d you write beans in the sky above elmer’s base?’ ‘fuck you’ ‘alright’

king has the most basic gamer setup

led lights, the chair, light up keyboard, all that

cause he’s extra

but there’s a wall behind his desk

and every time streams, there’s a new cursed image behind him

and sometimes his danny devito cut out makes an appearance

and the chat will spend the entire time looking for the new cursed print out among his other junk and he’ll sit there, pretending to be oblivious

“what are you freaking out about chat?” *squints* “’shrek cursed’ ‘shrek behind you’? i don’t know guys there’s nothing there”

bruiser usually doesn’t make an appearance

why? idk he just doesn’t,,, thats my thought

but sometimes he’ll get on king’s computer n mess around with it

for example

one time he was going to stream

and in the 10 minutes before he was going to, bruiser changed the entire system to russian

and then watched king struggle to do absolutely everything and LOST IT at him trying to read the words out loud and butcher them horribly

“bruiser what the fuck is a BONK” “i-” “y’know what that’s your new nickname” “NO-” “SPOTTIE GET IN HERE OUR BOY HAS A NICKNAME”

he plays emo music on his streams and his chat screams at him to play something else and he does not listen

“‘play something that’s not mcr?’ sorry i don’t speak bitch”

there’s been times where he’s bored and he justs forces spot or bruiser to sit with him (usually with king on their lap) and watch the stream even though they could be doing anything

he’s done multiple 24 hour and 12 hour streams

those aren’t hard for him to do because he doesn’t sleep anyway

but the others usually do

so they’ll come in, bring him food, give him hugs n kisses, give him monster (bad idea on their part) and tell him good morning or good night

he played a horror game and got jumpscared and he fucken SCREECHED at 2 in the morning and they both came running in like ‘WHAT’S WRONG’

he just spun around in his chair to face them like: ‘i was got’

he has video share on every stream and he always gets cursed videos

his favorite is this one and he blasts it every time he gets it shared

so it gets shared a lot

and bruiser ends up barging in his room and throwing a shoe at him and yelling at his subs to shut up but it’s all in russian

there was one time his chat was being genuinely mean to him and he had to go use the bathroom

and both boyfriends came in, because at least one of them usually watches the stream to make sure he’s doing okay (unless it’s VERY late), and yelled at chat and ended the stream for him so they could comfort him

Wanna join my religion?

In the beginning, there was nothing but three beings. Red shirt, Polo shirt, and Green shirt Shaggy. It was clear that green Shirt Shaggy was the superior Shaggy. He was soon renamed to just Shaggy, and he went on to make life. However, Shaggy didn't rule without being challenged by mortals. Some weren't too challenging, and some where suprising difficult. These included Goku, Bill Nye, Jigglypuff, Danny Devito, Thanos car, Matt from Wii Sports, Carl Wheezer, Terry Crews, and Waluigi. Shaggy let these mortals live, since they proved they were quite a challenge.

However, something happened during the Waluigi fight. A seed was planted when the two men's fists hit each other. This plant grew into what we know today as Piranha Plant. Piranha Plant shares qualities from all three Shaggy forms. It's red head is from Red Shirt Shaggy, it's green steam from Shaggy, and it's attacks from Polo Shirt Shaggy. Piranha Plant is the only being that was able to defeat Shaggy in battle with 100% power.

THE NUTCRACKER & THE FOUR REALMS

Disney has announced details about an upcoming, newly announced film, THE NUTCRACKER & THE FOUR REALMS!✨ All we know about the plot is that it will be a dark twist on the classic tale of the Nutcracker and that there will be four “realms,” including the Land of the Flowers and the Land of the Snowflakes.🌸❄️ Keira Knightly will play the Sugar Plum Fairy, Helen Mirren will play Mother Ginger, Morgan Freeman will play Drosselmeyer, and ballerina Misty Copeland will also star in the movie. The audience at the panel got to see a teaser trailer for movie, which apparently has great visuals including scenery and costumes. It is scheduled for release November 2, 2018.✨

DUMBO

Production has already started on Disney’s live-action Dumbo!🐘🎪 The film is being directed by Tim Burton, and stars Colin Farrell, Danny DeVito, Michael Keaton, & Eva Green!🐘 The story follows Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell), a former circus star and war veteran, who has been enlisted by circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) to care for a newborn elephant with oversized ears. The baby elephant’s ears are a laughingstock and embarrassment to the already struggling circus. That is, until Holt’s children discover that Dumbo can fly! Aerial artist Colette Marchant (Eva Green) and entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton) then swoop in to make Dumbo, the flying elephant, a star.🐘🎪 Dumbo will be brought to life through CGI and a team of award winning filmmakers are currently working on the movie!🎪 Dumbo hits theaters March 29, 2019!🐘🎪

ALADDIN CASTING

Disney has just announced the cast for the live-action Aladdin movie! Mena Massoud will be playing Aladdin Naomi Scott will be playing Jasmine WILL SMITH WILL BE THE GENIE! There’s no release date but it’s most likely to be released in 2020.

MARY POPPINS RETURNS

The audience at D23 were shown an exclusive clip from Mary Poppins Returns, the sequel to the 1964 classic musical!☔️ The story follows Michael (Ben Whishaw) & Jane Banks (Emily Mortimer) who are now grown up, and Michael is living with his three children and their housekeeper, Ellen (Julie Walters) on Cherry Tree Lane. After Michael suffers a personal loss, the enigmatic nanny Mary Poppins (Emily Blunt) re-enters the lives of the Banks family, and long with the optimistic street lamplighter, Jack (Lin Manuel Miranda), uses her unique magical skills to help the family rediscover the joy and wonder missing in their lives. Mary Poppins also introduces the children to a new assortment of colorful and whimsical characters, including her eccentric cousin, Topsy (Streep). And, as mentioned before, Dick Van Dyke will play a role in the film as Mr. Dawes Jr., the chairman of Fidelity Fiduciary Bank, which is now run by William Weatherall Wilkins (Colin Firth).☔️ All we know of the scene showed at the panel was that it involved Dick Van Dyke dancing on a table! We didn’t get that scene but at least we got this beautiful video poster starring Emily as Mary!☔️ Mary Poppins Returns hits theatres Christmas 2018.☔️

THE LION KING (LIVE ACTION)

Chiwetel Ejiofor is going to voice Scar in Disney’s upcoming live action adaptation of The Lion King! He will join an all star cast that includes:

The audience at D23’s live action presentation got to see the Circle of Life sequence from Disney’s upcoming live action version of The Lion King! Apparently it was shot-for-shot as you see in the animated movie, Baby Simba was adorable, and it doesn’t look like CGI! Everyone who saw the scene keeps on raving about how beautiful it was and I can’t wait for the movie! The live action version of Lion King will hit theaters July 2019!

AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR

Footage from Avengers: Infinity War was shown to the audience at D23! Most of the stars of the movie showed up on stage: Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Dave Bautista, Don Cheadle, Sebastian Stan, & Anthony Mackie. Infinity War is the movie that all the previous Marvel movies have been leading up to; in it, we see the Avengers & the Guardians of the Galaxy team up to fight the super villain Thanos. The trailer shown at D23 was very spoilery, & I won’t be discussing it here because I don’t want to spoil it on myself, but apparently the footage was so good that the entire audience gave a standing ovation! Avengers: Infinity War opens May 4, 2018.💥

Hulu has nixed plans for TV shows based on John Grisham’s The Rainmaker and Rogue Lawyer, which were set to showcase a shared universe.

Shared universes are apparently no longer restricted to Marvel and DC blockbusters, at least that’s the notion streaming service Hulu was embracing last December, when it started plans for television series adaptations of multiple John Grisham novels. That’s right, folks, Hulu was conceiving a live-action franchise that was to be called The John Grisham Universe! However, in the latest news, those plans have been taken off the table.

Hulu has ended development on its once-ambitious plans for serial television adaptations of John Grisham novels, according to Variety. While no reason was provided for the move, a major development worth noting is Disney's takeover of Hulu back in May. The plans were initially slated to started with 1995’s The Rainmaker and 2015’s Rogue Lawyer, which were designed to be connected continuity-wise, and adhere to a non-linear format that accommodates watching the episodes out of order, or, as the service’s statement puts it, either “vertically” or “horizontally.” The two series were, at one point, planned in a writer’s room simultaneously, with an initial benchmark of producing eight scripts for each.

The now-nixed developmental plans were set over at ABC Signature and Seitzman and Christina Davis’s ABC Studios-based Maniac Productions. For this initial duo of Grishamverse legal dramas, Hulu had tapped the creative coalition of writers Michael Seitzman (Quantico, Code Black), Jason Richman (Mercy Street, Detroit 1-8-7) and author Grisham himself, who, having given his blessing, was to have his say in the adaptation process as executive producer, joined in that capacity by the Seitzman/Richman duo and Davis.

Of course, several of Grisham’s novels have been adapted for the big screen (some more successful than others), most notably, the 1993 Tom Cruise-starring legal drama, The Firm, along with The Pelican Brief, The Client, A Time to Kill, The Chamber, A Painted House and Skipping Christmas (not counting Netflix’s recent Grisham docuseries, The Innocent Man). However, film buffs will remember The Rainmaker from director Francis Ford Coppola’s 1997 movie adaptation (pictured in the title image), in which Matt Damon starred as a recent law school grad who – joined by a shady partner played by Danny DeVito – attempts to do benevolent legal work by helping a leukemia patient whose insurance company unscrupulously denied treatment.

The Rogue Lawyer, which was to get its first live-action adaptation, centers on the exploits of a street-based solicitor who practices in the seedy side of the city out of the back of a black bulletproof van, joined only by a heavily-armed driver. However, Hulu’s aforementioned non-linear TV plans would have seen the stories of the two Grisham adaptations directly intertwined, sharing a murder mystery that will be connected to a larger conspiracy (its own proverbial Infinity Gauntlet-wielding Thanos, if you will), making the manner in which these shows were to be binged subjective to one’s own tastes. Yet, the structure of Hulu’s John Grisham Universe was set to be designed organically and expand at a careful rate.

It will be interesting to see if the seemingly incompatible concepts of “John Grisham” and “Universe” will end up being salvaged by another streaming platform or network.

Shared universes are apparently no longer restricted to Marvel and DC blockbusters, at least that’s the notion that streaming service Hulu is embracing with its ambitious plans for TV series adaptation of multiple John Grisham novels. That’s right, folks, a live-action franchise called The John Grisham Universe is now officially a thing.

Hulu has announced that John Grisham novels in 1995’s The Rainmaker and 2015’s Rogue Lawyer will get the small screen serial treatment, wielding unconventional plans to not only have the two shows connected continuity-wise, but adhere to a format that accommodates watching the episodes out of order, or, as the service’s statement puts it, either “vertically” or “horizontally.” The two series will be planned in a writer’s room simultaneously, with an initial benchmark of producing eight scripts for each show.
