₊⊹ Sunghoon is literally perfect. He embodies the feeling of a kdrama moment. What I mean is when time stands still, hair tousled by the breeze, the gleaming sun's warmth radiating perfectly, and your heart fluttering with that giddy feeling. But also his personality, he's probably the only (bias) I bias that is alot like me. Loud introverts! He's just so fun and chill and comforting I really can't express it. Tho, him and San both make me want to run into their arms, hug them and never let go. They look like the give amazing hugs.

I totally understand, Hee stood out the second he entered frame for me but I think it was also heavily because of his singing. Sometimes a member only really capture ur attention later on, like at the right moment. What ur experiencing rn is exactly what I'm going through with sunghoon. Ive always noticed him or knew him by name and face, but only after blessed cursed era did I start having complications with biasing. Since then, it's been a constant back and forth. I start watching every sunghoon clip I could get my hands on! Edits, fics.. Devoured. ENJOY it hehe❤️

After reading Please... part 4, is it weird that i want to see more interaction between Mor and reader? like even more than i want to see interaction between Az and reader??? i think it's just such an interesting dynamic,, their situation lowkey resembles one of siblings that grew up in an abusive household but the older sibling went to college/moved out first and the younger sibling feels abandoned. like, no one is really in the wrong because the older one is just as much of a victim as the younger one, but feelings and emotions don't necessarily work as strict and logically as you'd like them to. plus in the case of the fic, reader wasn't even born when the whole ordeal of Mor being traded off to the Autumn Court and eventually saved by Rhys, but there's still the underlying current of "i know what you're probably going through bc i've gone through it too but i also barely saved myself from it so i don't know how to save you"....... even if Keir & his wife's abuse is not Mor's fault nor responsibility.

and with the unbothered demeanor that reader seems to have, she probably doesn't hold too strong of a resentment towards Mor (tbh reader seems like she doesn't hold Any type of strong feelings towards anyone or anything both negative and positive.. other than like being touch starved and the occasional fear of pain which only further solidifies my theory that she's probably physically abused in some capacity to the point that she has an insane disinterest in her own safety and it made her numb to most emotions as a defense mechanism but i feel like now this is just me projecting 💀💀) but there's got to be Something.... right..?????? like, the part where reader mentions Velaris and asks about how the world is like outside of hewn city to keep egging Mor, i wonder if Mor's agitation was purely because she felt her safe haven being threatened or if it's also because she somewhat feels,, guilt that she got to escape from her parents and hewn city but reader didn't. and i wonder if reader chose that particular topic because she's subconsciously aware of that. or at least she can tell it makes Mor uncomfortable even if she can pinpoint exactly why.

I’d say she’s probably just focusing on surviving in her court and keeping herself as far away from her parents as she can without bringing attention to her deliberate absence? And while it’s definitely been awful for her growing up with them, she has managed to find an escape of sorts—that being her interest in ancient artefacts and the Things Kier keeps locked away which is how she’s kept herself together.

In terms of reader’s relationship with Mor, and being interested in some more details, given what can occur in the next couple of parts, that might happen? I only say might because please… isn’t planned out or anything, so while I know where the story can go, there aren’t any set Moments that are going to be written :)

It would be nice to write some things with them though, as well as with Az :)

Birthdays were something you never really looked forward to, in fact, you dreaded them with all your heart. There was just something in parties revolving around you, singing, lighting up candles and slicing cakes that inundated you when really, they were something you should be grateful for, or so your family’s told you. You wanted so badly to believe them and even went as far as forcing yourself to be happy even when your anxiety’s been bothering you the whole day. You gave up fighting for that piece of you once you’ve matured and went out on your own, doing the usuals even on your special day.

But despite that, here you were wearing a f/c dress, letting the skirt flow against the urge of the wind through the open windows of your car. You supposed it wouldn’t be so bad when you’ve got the love of your life riding you through cities and towns while you sing along to whatever cheesy shit was on the radio. It was like making memories in every city; once you visit each and every one of them again, you for sure wouldn’t but think of you and Leon.

The smell of coffee shops still whiffed by your nose, the tip still feeling a tad bit sticky from the jest of a cupcake icing. Your skin tingled from Leon’s sporadic touch on your thigh, and your heart melted once you’ve found your safe haven: alone in the hills beyond the sunset.

Leon’s phone had been shuffling through different songs of varying styles and genres on its own while you and him devoured on your sandwiches. But once his playlist went bingo with the song he knew you very much loved with your head and heart, he took you in his arms, spinning you a few times before placing you down and easing his hands on your waist and yours around his neck.

You palliated with the music, letting it flow through you as Leon looked at you as if you were his world.

1. Not Crazy from The Kingkiller Chronicle- I like this one because it felt like a natural step from the books. I also feel like I captured the author's writing style relatively well here and writing it helped me gain perspective on a character I didn't care for very much.

2. Blue and Red, a Bluebeard retelling- This is one of the creepier things I've written. I'm strangely fascinated by this story and always when fairy tales were retold or subverted or slightly altered around the women rather than the men. Makes me want to rewrite other fairy tales.

3. but I love it when you try and save me from Haven- I don't know if I'll ever finish this but I give myself credit for planning a long fic, something I've never done before. I'm really proud of myself for putting in the effort and trying something very new to me. I also haven't written many romance focused things, especially focusing on build up so planning this and what parts I have written, I'm proud of.

4. what could have been from haven- my missing scenes from haven and I especially love my Jess and Duke meeting, the banter is so very very good. And some of those scenes needed some version in the series. Very satisfying to write tbh.

5. You can break my heart from cloak and dagger- oh I love Tandy and Tyrone!! Writing for them was so fun, their sweet teasing and banter was fun to portray. I also liked adapting to all the boys I've loved before to these characters. Remains unfinished, but this makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. So I'm proud of this one too.

2. And he called him Nate- A pre canon look at Duke x Nathan’s relationship. I really love writing from Nathan’s pov and this is the first chaptered thing I wrote, and the longest at the time I started it. Still unfinished but it was a solid start in the Haven fandom.

3. I'll try and be your family- This little fic is about Duke and Beattie’s relationship post 1x05 and how it might look and what bond they might form over the shared trauma of sexual assault (I think of Beattie as a victim as well) and losing a child. It was very emotional and I’m proud. 

4. but I love it when you try to save me- My Jennifer x Jordan rewrite of s4 and I am going to finish this simply because I have too many scenes written to abandon it but I jut don’t have the focus or drive. But it has made me realize how much I like plotting and planning my writing!!

5. Haven Pride- A series of aesthetics filled with various queer headcanons of Haven characters. I think doing all of these throughout June really helped me with the ones I made in the future and play with fun color schemes. Some also sparked some good ideas for fics in the future!!

 6. Haven Characters as Greek Gods-  I really loved this idea and learning about lesser known Greek deities. Comparing characters to older, established characters is that often were at the beginning of certain tropes that have reoccurred throughout the history of stories. It was very rewarding to do and I don't know if I am finished with it. (I'm cheating, this is from this year, mostly at least, I think)

7. What could have been- a collection of ficlits that depict scenes that I feel like should have been included in canon. (I don't feel like linking it, sorry)

Tbh I'm drawing a blank on what else I created last year but a lot of these were multi part things and I think we can round it up to 10 lol. I am very proud of how much content I produced last year and the quality of it as well.

(1/ ?)OMG so I saw your post about wheelchair bound Jason in the finale (the abo one where Jaydick is the couple) and I am so glad more people are on the train now because I have been writing drabbles of it for just about 2 weeks now after I have been stalking ao3's Titans(2018) fandom tag for it and gotten absolutely nothing but a few offhanded non-specific mentions. Which tbh why no love for this very whumpable and character development heavy oppurtunity?

(I am asking the same question, why not more of that:O)

(2/?) I mean if you think Babs loosing her legs was bad for her Jason's trauma and distraughtness would be way more severe. For him not being able to run or get away from somewhere unaided meant death or enforced prostitution growing up. Also just think about Jason becoming some sort of Oracle esc hero. The boy is SMART he could do it- he mastered computer science at 12 with what is implied to be only a very young elementary school education in his robin run!

(I think the writers put him in the wheelchair as some sort of a callback to Barbara - as she’s missing from the Titans comlpetely as far as I know;[ so it might have been a hint hint)

(3/?) my current favorite take on the Jaydick finale dream au is this scenario[ that I have started writing... I think I have a problem...]: J is an omega and he and Dick are mates and they have Johnny. Jay is still robin and Dick and Johnny live in the 'haven suburbs with Jason making commutes from their to Gotham and being home most nights for baby-bedtime regularly. Finale plays out and Jay gets shot- when he wakes up he gets the prognosis, alfred has DIED gordon is missing and   

(4/?) and SURPISE you will never walk again and also CONGRATULATIONS you are several weeks pregnant! Jay comes home in a wheelchair by himself (he isnt even supposed to leave the hospital but they leave him with an computer/phone thing from B and the wheelchair so he hightails it out of there) Dick carries him inside and does the usual routine of: mate on couch, collected pile of laundry and softness given to mate, get pup for mate and 

(5/?) things don't go well- Johnny doesn't understand why mommy won't play with him and what is happening and thinks Jason's noncompliance with customary-welcome-home-footsie means Jason HATES him now and Dick doesn't know what to do: "So after the heart breaking time that was ‘bed-time’. (It had started out fine, Johnny adored Jay and didn’t mind doing things out of order as Jay read to him on the couch instead of on the edge of his bed like it always happened [At this sudden acceptance Jason"

(6/?) "- Jason looked like someone had given him a puppy]. Only getting bad when Johnny tried to initiate the customary ‘welcome home i missed you’ game of footsie with Dick’s co-parent and being upset when Jay didn’t return the favor [Jason had looked like someone had shot his new puppy in front of him]Then things- as things tend to do -got even worse. Johnny couldn’t understand why Jason couldn’t carry/dance him into bed -"

(7/?) "- like he always did when he was home, or make a nest for all three of them to sleep in like he always did and promptly started to cry. Jason became further distressed when he couldn’t get him to stop crying, and he had to be taken to bed by Dick [Jason then had looked like someone had taken his already dead brand new puppy and strung it by its innards in front of his window.] Jason himself had looked close to tears-the more primal part of Dick’s psyche had whispered that Dick’s omega

That was kinda boring. I was expecting more diversity, tbh hahaha I also had no idea that was like by far my most popular fic this year? Who knew.

9. Work I’m most proud of (and why):

Back to How it Was. It is my fic baby. Well, my second born fic baby. I spent two years brainstorming and starting the fic and restarting it and reworking it before I finally wrote it from scratch for NaNoWriMo last year and posted it with Big Bang this year. I didn’t think I could win NaNo or that I had the guts to do Big Bang even though I’d always wanted to do it, and I finally did it for this baby, because I knew it was worth it and it so was. It’s my longest fic, what I feel is my best written fic, and the fic I THOUGHT was going to be by far my most popular one, but obvs famous/non famous soulmates won hahaha It even was enough to give me the motivation to actually write a sequel (Nowhere to Land) and just. I love this fic so so so much. Defo what I’m most proud of this year.

10. Work I’m least proud of (and why):

You know, my biggest focus this year was not so much writing less, but writing with more purpose. Making my writing more quality (I wrote over 40 fics last year and it felt like TOO MUCH even if I learned a lot), and I think that even though I still posted a LOT of fics this year and my word count was actually more than last year, I think it was better quality. I think my writing overall was better and because of that, I’m proud of all of my fics. It’s the first year I’ve really been able to say that, but I don’t think I could choose a least proud fic. I love all of them too much.

11. A favorite excerpt of your writing:

Oh shit. Uhhhh...here! @sadaveniren reminded me I was damn proud of banter I wrote this year, and since I can’t share a Tomlinshaw snippet yet, enjoy this tidbit from I Like Digging Holes.

“Lads,” Liam called. “We’re back in five.”

Zayn turned back to the computer and finished what he was doing as Harry took his mic off mute.

“That was the new tune by our good friend, Niall Horan. Isn’t On the Loose a jam, Zayn?”

“It is. It is. But I think you’re just trying to distract me from what we were discussing during that song, Harry.”

Harry smirked and Zayn’s brows raised higher. His eyes were sparkling and Harry knew this next part was going to be fun. “Maybe I was, maybe I wasn’t. Would you like to share with the listeners what we were discussing?”

“Yes, well, our very own Harry Styles was sitting here, proper chair dancing and singing along to Niall’s latest single, all while peeling an orange.”

“It is a delicious orange, in case you were wondering,” Harry said, making sure everyone could tell by the way he was speaking that he had a segment in his mouth as he spoke.

“You’re disgusting,” Zayn said. He couldn’t keep the corner of his mouth from raising a little, though, so Harry knew he was mostly joking. “I swear I’m going to take your phone and start posting how you eat to your precious Insta story myself. Anyway, would you like to tell everyone where exactly you came upon this orange?”

“Of course, Zaynie. I came upon this lovely orange in the lift.”

Zayn was hardly containing his laughter now, but he did his best to remain serious. Harry knew the comments on their video this morning would be amusing to say the least. They always loved it when Harry and Zayn bickered a bit.

“Harryyyyy,” Zayn drew out, finally succumbing to his giggles. “Who finds an orange in the lift and thinks, ‘Wow, that looks delicious. I think I’ll take it?’”

“Well, obviously I do,” Harry said, also giggling. “It’s not like it was just rolling around! It was in a box!”

“A box almost makes it worse,” Zayn said, getting more and more animated as their conversation continued. “Someone may be looking for their missing orange now!”

“I don’t think so,” Harry said. “Besides. If they’re smart they’re listening to our show now and have found where their orange has gone.”

“You’re ridiculous.”

Harry hummed as he sent a cheeky wink Zayn’s way and continued eating his orange.

12. Share or describe a favorite review you received:

Oh gosh. There have been several that made me cry this year, they were so lovely. Some I save in my emails for when I have a bad day. I don’t know that I have any one single favorite, but I did have one the other day that told me they appreciated how I end my fics with them being resolved but still somewhat open ended therefore allowing the reader to choose the future of the characters. That meant a lot to me because there’s a lot of fics I write where the only comments are people begging for more (which is totally fine! I know I write short fics that often are just a snippet in time for those characters and leaves people wanting more hehe), but often the point of those fics is to leave so much in the air. I like the possibilities swirling and people wondering and coming up with their own ideas, and this particular commenter said they appreciated that. that meant the world to me! I was glad they liked that since it’s something I feel strong about but that often frustrates people hehe

13. A time when writing was really, really hard:

oh gosh okay listen. writing this year was my safe haven and most of the fics flowed from me in a most magical way. i think it was because i was writing fics i wanted to write? if that makes sense? but there were three fics that were REALLY hard for me. i learned a lot from all three, but the hardest i think was my mirrors fic, Just Enough (to Feel My Body Come Alive). I had an incredibly specific vision and feel for this fic and I felt like I fell so so so short from what I was trying to do. Every word was a struggle because I wanted to be sure it was right, and in the end I just didn’t have the time to really wrangle with the words how I wanted to. I got the fic done by the deadline and I was proud of what I wrote, but I just. I really truly wrestled with those words. I hope the emotion present in the fic, the settings created, and the growth of the characters as well as the narrative style I presented in the mixed POVs were effective for the readers! I put a lot of myself into that fic emotionally.

14. A scene or character you wrote that surprised you:

I think the Grimmy in Can I Have Your Attention, Please? surprised me. I wanted him to be very very true to the Grimmy we get on the radio and his personality shown there, and I think I got it, but it came much easier than I really thought it would. He was so endearing to me and silly and honestly a bit of a disaster and every time I finished writing him, I would go and yell in one of my chats because I just was amazed and how alive he came to be on the page. I hope others felt that way if they read it too. I really loved writing him because of how much he surprised me every time I got to write him.

15. How did you grow as a writer this year:

 Well. If you’d asked me this a week ago I would have told you in confidence. I became incredibly confident in my ability to write a fairly decent fic on pretty much anything. I feel like I can twist pretty much any prompt (within a few minor constraints) and do it well. But then this past week happened and I’m not sure confidence is where I grew. hahahaha I still am incredibly unsure of myself and scared when I post things. 

One way I do definitely think I grew though is I tried different writing styles and structures. Last year I explored with tropes a lot, and I still did that this year, but I found ways to kind of make them different from what I’d done before. I really liked that.

16. How do you hope to grow next year:

Well. Last year I wanted to write more in general. This year I wanted to write more quality fics. Next year I think I want to just focus more on writing when I’m inspired. I want to try to cut down on deadlines a bit and focus more on fics that I want to write when I want to write them. I got a taste for that a little bit this year and I have to say I’m kind of addicted and would like to see that trend continue. So maybe just...ease up on writing a little bit, allow myself to read more again, and write what inspires me.

17. Who was your greatest positive influence this year as a writer (could be another writer or beta or cheerleader or muse etc etc):

Oh gosh uhmmmmm. Well honestly Grimmy influenced me a lot this year. Grimmy and Greg and Scott and Chris all from Radio 1 found their ways into a lot of my fics this year as characters themselves or finding bits of themselves represented in our boys within the fics. Listening to them all more this year helped me really up my banter game so I was able to write awesome bits like the snippet I shared above I think. But I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for the fic community here. I don’t even know that I can name everyone, but I was defo supported by some incredible people including @wait4ever, @londonfoginacup, @becomeawendybird, @briannamarguerite, @catfishau, @suddenclarityharry, and so so so many more. I’m so sorry I’m not naming all of you, because seriously without any of the people who have been so kind to me I just. Writing is hard and scary and the next question is gonna be where I show part of why it’s so hard and scary, but it’s because of the kindness I have found in this fandom that I feel like I can keep going.

18. Anything from your real life show up in your writing this year:

*nervous laughter* yeah. I mean, there’s always parts of real life in fic, isn’t there? I find myself infusing bits of myself into my characters every time I write, but the fic that scared me the most and had me most worried it was total trash before posting it was actually Nowhere to Land. I couldn’t figure out why until today when I realized it was because so so so many of Harry’s worries and feelings about writing the article and his growth in the fic is very much everything I struggle with personally. I didn’t remember putting so much of myself into him, so I felt like posting him was like putting myself as a person out there for people to devour and either love or hate. Be kind or cruel about. And that’s fucking scary. So...yeah. Yeah real life always shows up, but Harry in that fic was kinda really me and that’s. A lot.

19. Any new wisdom you can share with other writers:

Keep going. You can do so much more than you think you can. Build a support crew. It doesn’t matter if they’re other writers or cheerleaders or betas or whatever, but build a community specifically for your fic. They’ll help keep you going when you’re feeling stuck and unsure and they’ll save you. Find your people. And always use a beta, no matter how scary that seems. They’ll save you. haha

20. Any projects you’re looking forward to starting (or finishing) in the new year:

Oh gosh yes. I mean, I’m posting my first hybrid fic and a hannah montana au and a sweet home alabama au and my very first futuristic fantasy epic adventure type au and all sorts of really fun things next year so i’m super crazy excited for the fic projects i’ve got going on just in the first several months of 2019. It’s gonna be an amazing year!

Juxtaposition for the ask game?

Juxtaposition: Do you include subplots in your writing? How do you balance them alongside your main plots? 

So. Many. Subplots. (incomplete list under the cut)

Most of my subplots are relational ones, characters learning to trust each other, forgive things, get over things, heal, all that. Those just occur throughout scenes in dialogue and action. I've added a few extra POVs for them too.

I have four major subplots, one for each part. Those are essentially the roads between the major turning points in my main plot (Thomas needs to get out of WCKD)

Part One: The Gladers find a lead only to discover it's a trap, for example. Thomas tries to change Teresa's mind

Part Two: Thomas tries to escape to save a friend's life, the Gladers travel across the Scorch to find him

The other two I'll keep a secret for now ;)

Basically my trick is to weave in a few small character arcs in between smaller conflicts.

I have a shit ton of them for the Maze Runner fic. Lots of (platonic) relationships and trustbuilding, but to give you an (incomplete) list (not in chronological order):

Justin needs to win the trust of the Gladers (specifically Minho and Fry, but Gally too), Jorge, Vince, and Brenda

Gally needs to earn Justin's trust, and his little brother's (I'm leaving that name out on purpose btw)

Vince tries to win Justin's trust so he'll come with to the Safe Haven

Minho gets over an intense fear of WCKD (well, the irrational parts, it's not like he'll just walk inside without second thoughts)

Thomas kind of needs to gain a sense of self-worth and lose his self-sacrificial tendencies (wait no, that's the main plot tbh)

Richard (he's a minor antagonist the Gladers need to escape from in part One)

Fry kind of juggles taking care of his friends and realizing he needs some care himself too

Vince has thoughts on taking Mary's place (as the emotional support so to speak, not just the guns)

Teresa gets a redemption arc (I mean, nothing big, it's not like they'll all be besties in the end, but it gets close)

Vocal Unit Hybrid AU

A/N: Ok so this one’s some short bursts of headcannons on how Seventeen’s vocal unit would be if they’re hybrid imo. Shoutout to the Anon who asked for the hybrid au! I’ve been thinking about this AU for a while, too. If you want a fic/buletpoint fic for this, please let me know! Also I didn’t do it for a specific member like the usual fic bc you didn’t give me any specification so ^^ I just want to hear what you guys think before writing a fic for this. Man, I love me some hybrid AUs. I hope you all enjoy!

Jeonghan

You know that bougie ass cat with the long white coat and whose food is probably more expensive than your week’s worth of groceries?

Yeah that’s Jeonghan

Is so picky with which shampoo he uses oml

Knows he’s pretty

Reeeeaaaaaallllyyyyy loves it when you brush his hair with that special cat brush (cat people, y’all know which brush I’m talking about)

99% just naps around tbh, especially on that spot near the window with the most sunlight

Likes to push your stuff off the table out of spite

“Don’t you dare, Jeonghan. Don’t you dare.”

You can see the ‘f*** you’ in his eyes before he pushed your things off the table

Will distract you from what you’re initially doing just to get a good rub

He’s that hybrid that looked really nice and angelic at first but you know that s*** is just an act lmao

But he loves your attention alright

Like, if you seem very too infested or intimate with other hybrids, he’d get pretty jealous

Proceeds to give you a haughty look and a silent treatment that could last for days

And it’s the cutest thing tbh, it’s so easy to rile him up

But ofc you do it in moderation bc man, can he hold a grudge

But despite all that, he’s pretty receptive and would immediately know when you’re feeling upset

The type who wouldn’t say anything but hold you close as you cry into his shirt

Is a really loving hybrid despite his attitude

Joshua

Joshua is a cat hybrid, just like Jeonghan

But unlike Jeonghan, he’s an actual angel

Joshua is a domestic cat hybrid, of a tortoisehell cat

Likes to watch you as he sits on the counter as you fret around the house

He also likes to steal you food (playfully, anyway) whenever you’re not looking

Loves waking you up by carding his fingers through your hair and saying good morning in this really soft tone

Omg imagine waking up to Joshua

You like to think the sweet way he always wakes you up is because he’s so restless during the night

The times you share air bed with him, he either steals all the cover or pushes you off the bed

Loves to take up space on the bed, too

But it’s all well bc he always apologize by making you breakfast the next morning

Loves to sidle up next to you as you read or do your work and just watch you do your thing

Loves to take you by surprise when he plant tiny pecks on your face when you least expect it

Refuses to let you wash the dishes after you cook for the both of you

Really loves quiet Sunday mornings when you don’t need to go to work and just lay in bed all day

The day you introduce him to anime was the day his life began oml

Couldn't stop watching One Piece lmao

A habit he inherited from his cat DNA was he loves to lay on the living room carpet and take a nap as the shine shone through it

Also goes bats*** crazy when you tried aa catnip room fragrance lmao

He couldn’t stop purring through out the day

Woozi

smol but spicy

WOOZI IS AN OTTER HYBRID

Has tiny brown ears that would sometimes be hidden underneath his hair

While his eyes are clear and beautiful, it always seem to judge and calculate your every move lmao

His nose twitches if he finds a smell particularly strong

He sneezed once and you swear it was the death of you

His tail is pretty long and super strong

Would wag upwards and downwards annoyedly if you tease him lol

Loves to sleep and play music with the guitar you bought him for his birthday

But his favorite activity with you is going out for a swim swim

Otter!Jihoon loves to swim

Especially if it’s a lake

You try to take him out to the nearest lake, which is hundreds of miles away, as often as you could

It has become a monthly routine for you now

Looks really grateful as he swims about near the water’s edges while he chases minnows around

You don’t mind the long drives back and forth between the city and the lake town because Woozi seems the happiest in his element

The calmest you’ve seen him is when he’s asleep or when he’s eating lmao

Speaking of food, however small he is compared to most hybrids, Woozi seemed to have an endless appetite

You went and bought him a burger set one day and now he’s totally hooked

But you couldn't help but submit to his wishes because overtime you buy him one, he would have the cutest smile on his face and his dimples would appear ugh

He totally knows you think he’s cute and he’s totally using it to his advantage

Ok don’t be weirded out but I can’t help imagining Seokmin as a horse hybrid

I JUST GOT REMINDED OF THAT HORSE BOYFRIEND OTOME GAME OMG HAHAHAH

Ok but horse hybrids don’t have a tail so their only distinctive feature is their horse ears

And they neighs sometimes

Which in DK’s case is whenever he laughs hard

Which is often because he loves to laugh

So you can say he neighs often?? Is that weird???

I love confusing myself

Another distinct horse thing he got was that he loves going on a run

He runs every morning seven days a week

Used to beg and drags you to run with him but gave up after seeing that you wouldn’t even budge lmao

Can and will finish an entire week’s worth of food after his runs if you don’t control him

Definitely more independent than some types of hybrids but he still loves his hugs

Loves giving you piggyback (or can you call it horseback?) rides around the apartment

Your apartment is always full of laughter with DK around

It doesn’t matter if you’re on the more quite and introverted side of the spectrum, he will make you sing during the weekly karaoke nights in your apartment

Loves singing off-key, which leads to more laughter

Which means more neighs

Seungkwan

Seungkwan is a parrot hybrid

Oh gosh, sometimes you wonder how Seungkwan caught your eyes in the first place

But then he’d smile and it would in turn make you smile, too and then you remember

Parrot!Seungkwan sometimes doesn’t seem to shut up but it’s impossible for you to get mad at him bc you know he just wanna see you happy

Loves to dance funnily to the music you play on the speaker lol

One day you figured to bring him to a karaoke place to actually use his endless energy for a purpose

And oh my god??? You were blown away

You always ask him to sing everyday now

Which he doesn’t mind complying to

And now he can’t stop singing lmao

Bird hybrids are particularly unique bc they have wings

Seungkwan’s wings are really beautiful

They’re pristin(e) ayee white with yellow coloring its tips

It makes him look even more like the angel he is

Also, Seungkwan’s hair tips seems to be yellow like his wings, too

Loves to sing off-key to wake you up and although you always wake up annoyed, you wouldn’t have it other way

Loves validation and literally loves it when you shower him with praise

Despite being really rumbuctious and full of humor most of the times, he’s pretty sensitive to your mood changes

Likes to cover you with his wing as you lean on his side when you’re feeling upset and it would feel like a little save haven shared only between you and him

1. what is your favorite cartoon character?

OKAY. let’s just choose otome hubbies bcs I dont have anything else (with the exception of 2 FF boys idk if they’re ‘cartoon’ or not lol). I’ll just choose the ones who affected me the most or this will get super long xD

- Vlad   Honestly, I never fell THIS deep with otome guy UNTIL THIS GUY (and well Mitsuhide but let’s talk about him later). Everything about him is calling my soul. His appearance, his aesthetic (FLOWERS!!) Then, I went to Comte’s JP route and learning a lot more about his motivation, his personality.. ohmygod, I love everything about him??!! especially his /bad/ side!! and now.. I found MY OTOME SOULMATE, even I have to wait for years. I WILL WAIT and I will write a lot about youuuuu~

- Mitsuhide Ikesen   So, I’ve been Mitsuhide hoe since many many years ago, due to his history. THEN this Mitsuhide knocked every other Mitsuhide(s) out there and, omg just how layered he is and exactly someone who I would fall in love with?? He just sneaked his way to my heart since I saw him, well I downloaded Ikesen basically FOR HIM lol. LISTEN, I did all his route choices with +4 +4 results until the end. Perfect score, without hints/anything. I was both shook bcs it never happened before and ‘I DO LOVE HIM SO MUCH’. Another OTOME SOULMATE (ssshh I can have several ok~)

- Zen Mysme He helped me going through my worst depression years ago. My life felt so damn empty and I picked Mysme to play, then Zen. ZEN!! His overflowing love got me SOBBING everyday, like I cried in 90% of his chats/calls, and even until now. I can never get over him. I wrote random fics about him that time but I have disagreement with some of mysme aspects, so yeah, it was mostly fix-it fics *winks at Reira ehehehe* LOL. 

-Jumin Mysme THIS ONE. I KNEW I WOULD FALL FOR HIM SINCE I PICKED MYSME. (thank God Zen was the common route or I won’t play him bcs I would go straight for Jumin and stayed with him lol). And yet he still swept me off of my feet when I played his route. But unlike Zen, & the opposite actually, I feel like JUST LET ME LOVE YOU. Again, there were.. fix-it fics I wrote about him with my MC, just because. LOOOL.

-Victor Just.. Be mine, pretty pleaseeeeeeee? He’s my type 101% and he can call me dummy etc I would still love him xD While Jumin wrecked my heart but this CEO made me.. yearn. (and thirst. but let’s not get too far lol) I love his power, his strength and determination, his demeanor. BUT I just want his heart among everything else?? aaaaaaa.

-Theo This one oMG, he snuck on me so damn hard. He’s also someone I def would fall in love with. I just.. *sighs longingly* His devotion is what I adore the most. the LOYALTY, the whole bad guy vibe, but mostly. HIS BIG, BIG, SOFT HEART.

-Nobunaga I AM WEAK FOR HIM, I just love this devil king in both otome versions~ I’m always side-eyeing when people talked bad about these two versions of him. But then I think they just don’t understand him. still side-eyeing so hard, though~

-Comte Another ‘JUUUUST LET ME LOVE YOU’ case. I went to his JP route for Vlad but I slipped, fell for him too lol. Not usually my type, but he’s definitely the gentleman type I would want to wed (and bed??) LMAO ssshhh.

The rest are, well, obvious enough. Basically the ones who I write, I loooove them~

2. if you could be fluent in another language, which one would you choose?

Japanese. (and more English lol just to make writing easier)

3. what kind of food do you like the most?

SPICY FOOD. JAPANESE FOOD. and instant noodle haha. But I love sushi, abura soba, salmon, the moooost~

4. what is your favorite holiday memory?

I have a lot, I think? But going overseas!! Disneyland!! And I definitely love every visit I’ve done to Singapore. Never been to JP though *cries*

5. if you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?

JAPAN. and maybe Singapore. that’s it.

6. what is the worst job you’ve ever had?

My only and also current job. It’s just something I will never get used to because it’s the opposite of my artsy soul. So, RIP. Suffering forever. 

That time I did part-time for a private gaming server. that HURT bcs I fell for the one I worked with and let’s just say he was not available. I had to get out and disappeared from him lol. (still miss him sometimes.. sobs)

Ehhhh. None. Not too interested in this. (Except if you count Mitsuhide, maybe? I want to know him looool)

8. if you could change one thing in your past, what would it be?

that I shouldn’t fall in love too easily? I had.. a lot of heartbreaking moments. AND I trusted people too easily back then, got used and back-stabbed too many times. so yeah.. kinda regretted that bcs it scarred me greatly

9. what is something that few people know about you?

That I write. Only 2 of my friends knew, and I won’t tell anyone else. This is my world, my safe haven.

I’m shy at first, but can be shameless after you get to know me HAHHAHA

As someone who ultimately believes in the right and joy of creative expression, I decided that since nobody really minded, I would host a birthday writing challenge this year. Spread the word to all your favorite writers!
