3/4AM — O3-12-2O24 : RANT / RAMBLE ﹐🪶 ˖ overview: im tired of tiktok, want to move to other social media platforms. want to start blogging / journaling on tumblr and love the idea of others doing the same and find it interesting. want to redo my intro post really bad (i bring it up alot.) i want to have the 'average highschool experience', feel alone then ramble about my life a bit. talk about how i am rambling and how i dont expect anyone to read it. im tired of having a fucked up sleep schedule and being unstable. then an ending note talking about journaling on tumblr again, moodboards, the fucking intro post again, and want to work on a tagging system. (im really fucking tired oh my god)

im really debating on just leaving tiktok for now, the algorithm fucking sucks especially right now. its boring as fuck and im not even seeing stuff of my interests or my mutuals ☠️ its all the same 3 god damn audios of content i wouldnt ever like want or expect to see??? ive mentally wanted to stop using shit like tiktok and move to using tumblr more and other sites like spacehey and stuff. i really need to redo spachey too. because while tumblr still has an algorithm ofc its alot less addicting and doesnt absolutely wreck your attention span like tiktok has for me. i feel like not using tiktok other than for occasional posts and sending things to / receiving things from friends would make me a bit more productive as well as being better for me mentally. while it wont magically cure me from any mental illness itll make me feel better and probably help my stress a bit.

i really love the idea of using a tumblr blog to post whatever i want and like use as a digital diary of some kind,, its super fun imo. i had an old acc but it felt like more of a chore to keep up with so now it’s abandoned. speaking of that blog i may make a post being like “hey, im [here] now!!” because i had some neat mutuals there. i think its really neat to see people post about their day and share things they like and reblog everything that catches their eye yk! that may just be a me thing.

i want to redo my intro post a bit, because idk im a bit unhappy with it. (dont be surprised if i edit it mid-writing this or before i post this..) i really love to write but i havent had much motivation at all. i typically love researching my interests and taking notes on them but recently i havent been able to no matter how much i want to, maybe this diary / blogging kind of thing will help me get back on my feet with that :)

i really dont have a ‘yearning’ for anything at the moment, besides having the experience of like everyone else my age. idk how (hahaha) corny that may sound but like for background, im online schooled due to mental and physical disabilities, i dont have many friends online or in person, i rarely see anyone, and i live with my dad and see my mom sometimes and dont really have family outside of that. the family i do have i dont get along with very well or theyre distant (physically or emotionally.) the family i really consider is my dad, because hes always there for me, and my friend micah, but he lives like 9 hours away from me like a LOSER (ily bffie.) im a big believer on chosen family and he is that chosen family. ok i got sidetracked, what im saying is i have no social life really, dont have a place to get a social life (school), and cant really connect with people no matter how i try to. i want to live life like how i see in teen life films or tiktoks of people vlogging with their friends, hell id kill to even have an irl bestfriend to be around. i do have irl friends, and i do have close friends, but i dont see them often or have the personal connection of a mutual best-friend feeling. my dads probably my best friend but i need someone my age lmfao.

this post will be so long that no one will read it i garuntee but also i dont mind?? im not gonna spill my guts like someone wont read this but im not gonna act like i have a large audience. this will just be a nice thing to look back on and keep up unless i anxiously delete it whenever i look back on it (maybe in the morning)

im really tired of waking up at 3-4pm right now, but i cant sleep earlier than 5am no matter what i do. and if i manage to fall asleep at 2am or something i wake up an hour later or wake up at 4-5am panicking for some reason. i havent been to therapy in forever, my therapist is like not doing her job as well as id like and i have no doctor other than my pediatrician who doesn’t understand what im talking about ever!!

i just made this post and thats kinda what led to all of this ranting and wanting to write and shit. im sorta just tired of alot of social media and would love to find myself in other ways and use other forms of social media to share those things even though tumblr is a bit more dead than some things :) im gonna end this one here but if i write another tonight or early tomorrow (like the afternoon same day but it’s tomorrow to me) dont be surprised i love rambling to myself. now i think im going to make this post look cute, post it, redo my pinned intro, work on featured tags/a tagging system, then go from there ^^’

so now self-inserting your ulterior motives with ideas for video content, you now Needed to make this a thing

he would highkey look annoyed the entire time, but would love it at the same time because he really does enjoy spending time with you since he’s at practice all the time :(

he too puts on gloves even though he’s not touching/doing anything-- always gotta be safe you know???

makes tiny comments how if you owned a salon you would be in violation for not being clean enough

(you may have pulled his hair a bit on that one)

you make sure your application is pristine because any less than that and he would give you an earful

omi holds the end of your shirt when you’re straightening his hair as one of his little displays of affection with you

makes cute little faces as his hair whips past his eyes when you’re blow drying

when you’re finally done and it’s all straightened you just take the time to admire your masterpiece

but you purposefully turned off the monitor so he couldn’t see

so now he’s looking at you all confused

you immediately shook your head, denying his allegations because you were worlds away from hating it

you ran your fingers over his now straight soft black hair, fluffing it here and there

“to be quite frank, i think you look hot--”

he blushed real hard being caught off guard by your direct comment (as if yall havent been dating for like 2 years) but you continue to ramble on

“NOT THAT YOU DIDN’T LOOK HOT WITH YOUR CURLY HAIR-- you also look hot with your straight hair and--”

you turned the monitor back on and that’s when he finally took a peak at what you were talking about

he took his time to run his fingers across his now smooth locks, getting accustomed to the change-- you may have liked it but it was his hair after all

he would turn his head this way and that, trying to see himself at different angles

but you started to get nervous-- what if he really did hate it and he’s just being nice?

“i actually really like it.. maybe i should do it more often…”

you breathed out a sigh of relief as you nodded in agreement

the both of you purposefully arrived at their practice on the later side of early, knowing everybody would already be there warming up. you did his hair extra nice that morning, combing it up and over putting in as minimal product as possible since sakusa didn’t really like his hair feeling all crunchy. as you got closer to the entrance of the gym, you switched on your tiny vlogging camera, waving to it with a happy smile.

“hello everyone! we’re here at the black jackals practice to see how his teammates are going to react to omi’s new straight hair!”

you turned the camera over to your boyfriend as he gave a small wave. at first he was very camera shy (which was interesting to you considering that he was on the news and tv all the time) and opted out of any of your videos, but over time he learned to grow accustomed to being within your spotlight every so often.

you decided that you were going to walk in first to catch their attention and then have the man of the hour walk in a few beats later. you walked in, camera in hand, waving over to the boys as they noticed someone walk through the door.

“oi! (y/n)-san!” bokuto was the first one to wave you down before noticing your camera.

“are you filming something?” totally forgetting about why you were here without your boyfriend and focusing more on you getting his good side. you nodded your head as you laughed at his crazy antics.

“you could say that.”

“where’s omi-san?” you noticed now hinata running over to you to give you a high five.

“yeah, where is that curly haired guy?” atsumu commented. turning the camera around, you looked right into the lens as you smirked knowingly.

like clockwork, sakusa walks in mask on as usual, acting as if it was just another day. you quickly turned the camera around to the three boys, trying to hold in a laugh as you saw their shocked faces.

“OIIIII OMI-OMI! LOOK AT YER NEW HAIR!” as sakusa reached closer to the group, atsumu attempted to touch it, but he was quick to swat him away.

hinata was just standing there with his little glowing eyes as he began to flatten down his own hair to copy that of his teammate. meanwhile, bokuto let out one of his signature laughs as he slinked an arm around sakusa and patted him on the shoulder.

“it looks good on you sakusa!” he was quick to dust off bokuto’s arm, moving past him silently to put his stuff down on the bench.

“see! i told you they would like it!” they all turned back to you as you made your comment.

“is that why you were filming?” you nodded over to bokuto, now turning around so that all of you were in the frame.

“thank you for giving kiyoomi your support with his new hair!” you waved, leading everyone else to sign off before you turned off the camera.

“i am offering my services to anyone else who would like a brazilian blowout.” bokuto was about to raise his hand, but atsumu was quick to put it back down. a laugh escaped your lips, pulling your bag over your shoulder.

“alright, i’ll take my leave! have a good practice everyone!” you happily waved to them, pulling up your mask before going up to sakusa and giving him a kiss on the cheek (yes, through your mask).

“have a good practice! make sure no other girls snatch you up on your way home.”

ESC2019 Preshow #12

12. AZERBAIJAN Chingiz - “Truth” SemiFinal 2, #18

Lol you can pretty much C+P my Luca write-up here because every letter of affectionate mockery I wrote about him also applies to ‘Chingiz’, except... It’s even more extreme here, somehow? 😍 “She Got Me” has a chance to become a carcrash. “Truth” a tiny chance to NOT become one. 😍 ALREADY a wreck and it can only get worse. 😍 😍 😍 😍

ENTRY ANALYSIS

Alright, so as you remember, Azerbaijan NQ’d for the FIRST TIME EVER last year, with a song that was utter drivel, with a singer who openly hated her song and the style she was forced to sing in. “Hmmm” they thought “So if we got 11th place with utter nonsense how about we... cut a little bit back on the carbs and do the same thing? That should get us 10th place”.

The product of this flawless logic now stands before you and... err...

Honestly, I’m even wondering why I’m trying to justify any sort of thinking process behind “Truth” because I doubt there was any <3 Whatever the fuck it is, it entertains the shit out of me and in fact “Truth” is already DELIVERING LAFFOS IN SPADES and we’re only in the fucking preshow.

Some highlights:

The Song Title While not quite AS awful as last year’s song title, Azerbaijan once again have easily the worst one in the entire year and this year has a song called “Look Away” in it. Like, “She Got Me” is pretty awf, but that’s down to Switzerland’s incompetence and not checking whether the name “Dirty Dancing” wasn’t copyrighted before penning it (😂❤). There no reason to name this song ‘Truth‘ when a) you can barely make it out in the song b) “SHE IS A KILLER” is one of the few memorable lines IN the fucking song.

The Videoclip The VC looks pretty glam on the surface, but the making of exposed it as one of the most nonsensical, amateuristic things I’ve EVER seen in Eurovision. 😍 “Proud’s” vc is literally women in black tee-shirts yelling at the camera in various degrees of windmachine, and even that clip looks more professionally made than whatever Rocky Horror Picture Shitshow Azerbaijan are trying to serve. It absolutely DOESN’T fit with the song lmfao <3 Enjoy this related pasta I made in the Discord server I post in (It’s a collaborative effort tho lol):

The Theming It’s funny to me how Armenia and Azerbaijan mirror each other perfectly, both of their entries being incoherent messes which regale tales about toxic relationships in mangled English <3 I’m surprised the TinFoilHat Conspiracists havent posited the idea that the Armenian and Azeri songs are about each other. (just giving you some substance to chew on over your hot chocolate, since this song definitely won’t be delivering it, lol)

The Singer Azerbaijan claim that their singer is someone or something called “Chingiz”. Now I am not entirely certain whether “Chingiz” is a real living person or just a very elaborate hologram conjured up from pixels and leftover Kirkorov cartilege. ‘Dude' literally glitches out whenever ‘he’ is forced to ‘sing’:

Though this may also be because ‘he’ visibly ‘LOATHES’ ‘his’ song <3 Then again when ‘he’ ‘sings’ a song he actually ’likes’ ‘he’ ‘does’ it like this:

In sum:

Qualification Odds: Guaranteed Qualifier

It wasn’t certain Bakustan would advance before the running order was announced, but now that we know "Truth” closes it’s become clear that it is set to become the token “SF2 Closer Who Finishes In Third Place And Then Opens The Grand Final” like his predecessors Imri and Laura Tesoro.

‘Chingiz’ will place somewhere between the two: not quite as high as Laura did (”Truth” is fucking sub-Macedonia-level in terms of quality), but not necessarily as lowly as Imri. In this Azeri Trash Era, they have NEVER been stingy in throwing money and resources at making their staging memorable (AISEL’s sucked but I mean, that song...). I expect both staging and results similar Melovin, except better because “Truth” is better, after all 😈 (I hope you’ve enjoyed this ranking because I’ll be brutally murdered by the Melovers once this post has made it online.)

Projected Placement: 3rd-5th in the SemiFinal. WHen ‘he’ qualifies, ‘he’ will finish around 14th-20th place.
