Omg - Sweet Like Honey was amazing! Thank you for such a thoughtful story, which was at times uncomfortable and yet gripping. Well done. Wow, what a very kind ask :,) thank you so much for reading this fic! I know it was uncomfortable and potentially strange at times so I appreciate you taking the time to read it and give it a chance.

I fear this might be a dissatisfying answer since it’s not really telling you exactly how things end up, but I do want readers to sort of be able to imagine whatever they want. It’s an ambiguous ending for a reason!

However, I’m happy to share some headcanons;

-Edwina and Edmund are basically joined at the hip, from the time they’re kids to adults. Not to lean into the twin thing, but they absolutely know what the other is thinking, are each other’s main confidantes etc

- Edwina grows up and takes over the company, despite being raised in a lab by Kate and incredibly astute; it’s because Edmund is incredibly shy, and she is far more outgoing, and has a really sharp business acumen, so she takes on the role one of them has to

-Both sets of grandparents (lol @ Anthony being a grandpa) dote on the kids, though it’s really Anthony that is around most often in their day-to-day

- Kate never remarries

- Mary and Anthony never get divorced

- In the ending scene, though no one knows it, Kate is pregnant again :)

Hi Luna!!! Thank you for the ask!! I answered 2 here and 39 here!

How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?)

Lariel is a reader. Usually I think she does a little routine. Of washing her face, combing her hair, etc. Gets ready for bed. Shes a little picky about ‘feeling dirty’. Then she snuggles up in bed with a book. Either she stays up way too late reading it, or falls asleep with it in her hands. Haha

How sensitive are they to their own flaws?

This one’s interesting. I think Lariel is not actually that self aware of her flaws. Things she considers flaws are not actually the root issue. If that makes sense.

Like for example; If asked, and she had to be honest, she would say her flaw is that there is something wrong with her. That she is not certain she can change. A fundamental truth about her. That she doesn’t believe she’s actually good for people. The answer illustrates her real flaw, a lack of self love. She extends love and acceptance to others but not herself.

I think she is sensitive to her flaws but it’s often hard to see, as she reflects them inward instead of outward. She doesn’t lash out. If someone hurts her in some manner she does not act that hurt. Her expression might fall or twist for a brief moment, but then she takes that within herself. Using it as more reasons she should stay at a distance.
