hehehehe finally got these done!! Reboot is so fun to draw; I swear drawing him just bursting into laughter immediately made me feel so much better about literally everything 🥰
He has such a pretty smile, especially when it's genuine. I love him being silly and giggly 🥰 I want him to just be able to laugh and be happy
.....buuuut at the same time I also want to put him through so many of The Horrors(TM), so maybe my wants shouldn't be trusted XD
As always, Welcome Home belongs to Clown (partycoffin), and Reboot!Wally/the Reboot AU belongs to @bloodrediscream!💖💖

Man, Rhysand was never the dreamer in that god awful series. It was always Tamlin
Tamlin is the one who has always done everything he can do to stop injustice. Protecting mortals, always accepting fae from other court in his land, trying his damnedest to find a way to break the curse instead of stealing a mortal. He has always dreamed of a safer and more just world and has always tried to make that come true. Even after loosing so much he always did whats right and true in the end.
but hes doomed by the narrative. His good deeds and genuine soul over shadowed by the biases of the narrator. Hes the age old tragedy of wanting to be the best he can and do the best he can.

Okay now i gotta know... As someone who only plays on English server but craves every bit of info on chapter 7....
What's the spoon scene? You mentiond it in the Sebek UM poster post.
no pressure tho, I'm just curious
oh, it's a little flashback scene to Silver and Sebek's first magic lesson (moving a spoon) -- it's one of the missable ones, so there's nothing plot-important in it, I just thought that one was really extra cute! 💚 Lilia does such a bad job of explaining how to use magic ("you go, like, SHWOO") that Malleus steps in and teaches them instead. so it's basically just Silver and Sebek staring intently (and audibly) at a spoon while Lilia flails around making noises and Malleus reminisces about how Lilia's teaching style has always been fascinatingly incomprehensible! pure sugary domestic fluff! just rubbing it in how absolutely terrible things have gotten :)
there are a bunch of cute flashbacks like that in the 7-81 and 7-83 maps; it's definitely worth getting them all if you are also fond of the diafam! I swear, this update has somehow managed to make me even more obsessed with this idiot dad and his three adopted dingbats and that should not have been possible.

You know how sometimes they freeze a person's body for long into the future, occasionally as a means for that person to get treatment with future remedies? I feel like Clark Kent (in the absence of a Lazarus pit or some other means that he tried), would one hundred percent have a Bruce-sicle in the Fortress of Solitude. Just waiting until he can revive him.

the fact that amy made rory dress up as the doctor when they were kids is so fucking insidious like what does that do to a person. sure okay your girlfriend’s imaginary friend is the coolest person on the planet but it’s fine cus he’s not real. but then he IS real and not only is he exactly as she remembers, she’s had 12 years to worship the memory of him. she’s reverent, she’s self sacrificial for him. you’re a nurse and he’s the doctor. he’s an eldritch god and the only thing he wants to do is show her the time of her life. and they have weird sexual tension. i would just kill myself tbh.

I find it sad that the Naruto series ended with absolutely no improvement to the Shinobi system and just a return to the pretty abysmal status quo. I find it even sadder that a large majority of the fan base take it as a face value happy ending because their favourite characters got married, and just ignore how none of the criticisms of Shinobi society brought up throughout the story have any meaningful resolution.
This is, in large part, because of Kishimoto's pivot into deciding friendship is somehow the solution to all problems despite showing repeatedly throughout the story how friendship is never enough to foster substantial change because of how fucked up everything is. Like,,, when confronted with the fact that genocide, child exploitation, slavery, and human experimentation were the common place practices for villages it's actually kind of insane to push the notion that the victims of these crimes should be magnanimous towards the people that abused them so horrifically; it is, frankly, ridiculously insulting to proclaim that being justifiably angry about their oppression means they are 'falling into darkness' because that is also, for some reason, a thing.
There are literally no consequences for all the genuinely evil things the people in power were doing for generations, everything is just brushed aside on the whim of friendship and forgiveness and that's just so appalling. There is no justice for the people who have suffered so terribly because of the villages. Are they just expected to move on while these horrible people walk free? They're supposed to be okay with historically corrupt and depraved people remaining in power? Like what the fuck.

i stand by that a better, more sensible, and more intriguing plot for TSATS would have been, instead of retconning literally everything:
Bob is dead (because he was very explicitly absorbed/killed by Tartarus Himself in House of Hades, alongside Damasen), and nobody is going into Tartarus to save him. He made his sacrifice and is gone. However. Remember how the Titans, including Bob, were just kind of kicking around for several years? Particularly. On a cruise ship full of mortals. And Bob happened to be kicking around in general for an extra year versus all the other Titans. And he mythologically sometimes has a mortal demigod son who partook in the Calydonian Boar Hunt (Dryas of Calydon). Yeah.
So turns out, Bob/Iapetus leaves behind a demigod (demititan?) child. And because Nico was pretty much his only friend, he named Nico his child's godfather. And while he's not being left in charge of the child, as a son of Hades and godfather to this kid, Nico is duty-bound to fulfill Bob's last will and go find this like 2 year old to make sure they're safe. So Nico has to undertake this very unusual quest (that raises many questions, such as "demititans are a thing?" and "DOES THIS MEAN THERE'S POTENTIALLY MORE-?!" and "SHOULD WE BE CONCERNED ABOUT THIS?") and is kind of freaking out because. He's the son of Hades! He's notoriously bad with living things, and animals, and definitely small children! Even if he does find this kid and assure they're safe, he is the last person who should be undergoing any kind of quest involving even potentially having to babysit. Fortunately, his boyfriend is the human embodiment of sunshine and calmness and good vibes, and also once helped a nymph give birth, so he feels Marginally More Confident in theoretical demititan babysitting and offers to come along on this Epic Journey of Figuring Out What In Hades' Name Is Up With This Demititan Baby Business.
Proceed with wholesome epic shenanigans quest of Nico and Will scurrying around trying to locate this random OP baby while Nico has an existential crisis about the nature of his powers because he doesn't want to let Bob down! Both for Hades Kid Honor Reasons and because Bob was his friend! But what if he's destined to fail this quest just because of who he is? Because he's simply not built for hanging out with the living/mortals? And Will reassuring him that He Will Probably Not Traumatize The Weird OP Titan Baby And It'll Be Fine, and simultaneously getting a peek into the weird other life Nico leads hanging out with immortals much more than the average demigod, which Nico considers his norm. Bonus shenanigans of both of them getting caught off-guard and culture shocked from where each other's respective worlds (Nico's mostly-immortal versus Will's mostly-mortal) cross over and learning to navigate those for each other - Nico finally starting to make some mortal connections and get glimpses at modern mortal American life, and Will trying not to get his brain literally incinerated while Nico's happily casually catching up with some of his old friends who happen to be literal gods.

Can we talk about the fact Horror is the biggest hypocrite ever.
Can we talk about how he doesn’t eat humans and what that implies about him, whether it be some kind of semblance of him believing he doesn’t deserve to eat in any capacity, or believes that he’s above others in some way by not doing so? (Though it’s likely the latter, considering he did take the makeshift ketchup from aliza)
Can we talk about how for the sake of revenge he essentially fucked over all of monsterkind by destroying their last hope of survival.
Can we talk about how he gave Papyrus what I can only assume was a human organ disguised as a tomato when he said he didn’t want to eat humans.
CAN WE PLEASE TALK ABOUT HOW he tricked Papyrus into eating humans so he wouldn’t starve, while simultaneously refusing to eat human flesh in any capacity.

dives headfirst into the Trolls fandom with the rarest of rarepairs
I'm sorry but these two have taken over my life. I dunno what it is about these two but I freakin LOVE them so much
Very much @ohposhers design for Trollex cuz thank god someone else hated his design and gave him hair (the Skrillex sweater killed me)
Also it's a personal headcanon of mine that the Techno trolls are HUGE compared to land trolls. I mean they're basically mermen, let them be giant fish people.
So Trollex and JDs height difference is dramatic hdbdhbdbjdiedj. JD is gonna hug the shit outta Poppy later for introducing them
Also what is this ship name called???? I've seen Fishipping as a name???? I dunno lol
