Part 1 of Maglor’s vision.

Whelp I’ve returned to this concept! It’s up to you whether Maglor saw Elros’ Choice, or Tar-Minyatur, or both. This comic sure took me a while to finish; I blame it on those dang branch-ears loll

Anyways, I’ve been thinking about the nature of Half-Elves in my eldritch AU, which put me in a pickle while drawing this. I ended up going with this idea where Elrond and Elros’ bodies look as though they’re human while dressed in black silk.

I think it’d be cool if the Fëanorians (and people in general) aren’t sure whether the twins have actual human faces underneath their masks, or are tree-based like your regular eldritch Elf. Everyone just assumes that it’s the latter since Elrond and Elros can grow branches with flower crowns.

Also, the font change at the ends means Maglor has switched from Sindarin to Quenya XDD I was initially going to go for a fancier handwrite-y font, but I like the simplicity of Cinzel Decorative (plus it does have a bit of that fantasy flair!)
