😊 - a line that made you feel a fluffy happiness

“It’s the perfect intersection – an opportunity to satisfy [Sita’s] bloodlust while securing glory for her husband [Rama], so simple and elegant in its perfection that Draupadi smiles.” - samsarga

I liked this line because it draws a parallel between two famous women in Indian mythology — Sita and Draupadi — and couched Sita’s motivations in a way that eases Draupadi’s own qualms about the bloodthirstiness of her own motivations.

🎈- what’s a spoiler for a wip or series

I don’t really have any WIPs or series ongoing right now, other than Liminal which is an alternate POV of an already-written fic, but I do have a series planned where Mary spends time with each of her stepmothers!

Nothing has ever really made me cry, but this line is one of the saddest I’ve written:

Chapter 4 of If You Love This Coast, as it covers Mary’s conflicting feelings about discovering her parents’ secret, and also unresolved feelings from her parents’ divorce years earlier.

💘 - what’s your favorite AU? Least favorite?

I like soulmark AUs, especially ones that aren’t necessarily romantic (the one where your soulmate is the person who had the greatest impact on your life is one of my favorite AUs!). One of my least favorite AUs is ABO AUs — no hate, it’s just not a setting to my tastes.

⌛ for an alternate universe headcanon

AU where Bobby never did the thing and Hiya would have inadvertantly started to work for the Trappers. Would still have major opposition and would leave Bobby as soon as he found out. His mom would have him on lockdown after that though.

💄 for an appearance headcanon

While most people get a depression beard Hayat got the depression hair. At his worst the length was reaching the end of his shoulder blades. Everyone that knew him growing up was happier to see it getting chopped.

👽 for a beliefs headcanon

He feels so validated to find out ghosts are real. He does also feel an immediate need to try and help them crossover to be at peace.

👩‍👩‍👧 for a childhood headcanon

Christmas is so pervasive that when Hiya was a kid he found it so novel that his family had a “christmas” for a few years before eventually using it as a teaching lesson to promote zakat which led to them volunteering at charities during the season.

🔥 for a dislikes headcanon

Hayat doesn’t like how bitter coffee tastes. He can taste it in just about everything that contains coffee.

Sigh....Hayat isn’t dirty but he certainly just has a very lived in feel to his place. He could do with a good Marie Kondo-ing of his place.

Hayat absoluetly needs permission to feel the harder emotions. He will push everything down and cover it all up with humor and a laid back attitude but there are times that god he just wants to breakdown on first instinct.

👗 for a fashion headcanon

For as many printed shirts as his fc wears Hayat doesn’t wear a ton of them himself. In all honesty he has like 15 total outfits, which seems like a lot until you get to day 14 and realize it’s time to do laundry but it’s 2am.

👻 for a fear headcanon

Hayat has a fear of his phone dying at in opportune times that he has chargers hidden just about every where. However it should be noted that this still doesn’t prevent his phone from forever being at 25% or lower.

Hailey’s Bakery should get a reward for being the one thing to have kept him fed in the time he’s spent back in Wayhaven.

Hiya has many friends and is very much a little social butterfly. He never had a best friend until Nat though.

He still sits down and draws out ideas and schematics of machines that he’d want to build. He has so many notebooks around his desk and home that he’s probably repeated a few ideas.

He takes the holidays seriously, he figures he’s going to have to show Tina the ropes to help when he takes time off for them. His grandmother also says that its not a proper Eid unless Hayat gets kicked out of the kitchen a minimum of three times, he sometimes does it on purpose to keep the tradition going.

Hayat has the little wolf Mason won from the carnival on display in the living room. His spot changes but you’ll always be able to see it.

God this boy is so full of love and is so afraid to give it to Mason. It’s part of the reason he’s fine with the whole arms length relationship as he can feel like he’s giving Mason that love without having to become vulnerable with it.

Hayat can be seen jamming out to pop punk music in the office all alone when things are calm and he needs a break. “Stacey’s Mom” is a fan favorite as it has the funniest dance moves paired with it.

He’s always had the sunny and big personality that his dad used to claim that he was born with a smile. It was a main reason that Hayat was granted his name as it means Life.

Now that Hiya’s a detective he has the power to open the fire hydrants to create a fun time for everyone when it gets to the hottest point in summer.

He still really feels that he’s not qualified to be a part of the Agency or even a detective. I mean he bearly felt qualified to be a police officer for crying out loud!
