to be fair and as much as i also dislike it, it's not like pete was alone the whole time like the other body guards and tankhun were there and vegas only got to pete because he was in the back to smoke plus he had a gun. he shouldn't have done it but im sure porsche thought vegas would be too scared to try anything

mmmhmm yes, and, i'm sure he could tell how absolutely desperate vegas was to talk to pete, especially if that's what he's asked for payment in exchange for finding uncle thee, so he knows it's something vegas reslly wants and he wouldn't risk fucking it up.

also, pete has his gun now.

so, he knows he's is safe in that regard but

it's not about the physical pain that vegas could do to pete.

porsche, just a few hours before, sat with a clearly traumatised pete in that bathroom and

he has no idea what exactly went down, but he knows it had something to do with vegas, and he knows pete is fucked up over it.

so he just, offers him up to possibly be even more traumatised? and leaves him alone with him. not even a chaperoned meeting? vegas could say anything to pete that could possibly hurt him even more.

and this is porsche, who had a hard time dealing with what happened to him in episode 4, and should understand the effects experiences like this have on you.

like, there's no way around it, that was a dark moment for porsche's character

but, it was clearly done to show how desperate porsche is to find out the truth, and the lengths he's willing to go through (working with vegas, using pete as collateral) to get it.
