(madoka magica / rebellion spoilers below. TW: suicide and controlling behavior)
I don't know the direction in which walpurgisnacht rising will take homura's character but I can say with confidence that from at least where rebellion left off that I truly believe that homura made the decision that she felt was the most correct one even if it meant she had to become a monster in the eyes of every person that loved her. she felt that if things were left in the way the law of the cycle was currently running things that it was inevitable that kyubey would eventually capture madoka in her goddess form, study her, and use her to as a source for mass amounts of energy at the suffering of herself, the others within the law of the cycle, and magical girls at large again. this is something he explains very clearly when talking to homura before her transformation into homulilly.
I get so exhausted when I see people try characterize homura as an actually evil person with completely selfish desires and no regard for others. all of her actions, while not explicitly explained outright, when looked at closely always indicate that she does things out of her care for the other girls but feels like she bears the burden of having to do it alone because she believes she's the only one who doesn't let her emotions get in the way of protecting madoka and the others from kyubey and sometimes each other.
I will always use the scenes of her interactions with mami and sayaka in rebellion as huge examples of this. she has no reason not to kill them if she's a completely selfish and unemphatic person that only cares about madoka and no one else when given many opportunities to do so. I also don't personally think she keeps them around JUST because of madoka's happiness either. she very easily could have suppressed their roles in madoka's life with the world rewrite and clearly choose not to. I believe her mocking sayaka and acting in a clearly "evil" manner is deliberate acting on her part to frame herself as a villain. she might believe this would her actions more palatable and will create distance between herself and everyone else to protect them as well as allow her to assert more control in this situation. it is further emphasized how she truly feels with imagery displayed in homura's new world around herself (shoes abandoned on the side of a building to potentially indicate suicidal ideation, a half moon alluding to homura feeling unfulfilled and unhappy with this decision, her dancing around happily before stopping and slowly falling off the cliff side with a similar implication as the shoes).
homura's relationship with the others is incredibly complicated but she cares for them deeply too as they are also people she considers friends, she just had a particularly strong attachment to madoka. we don't get to see as many instances of her interacting with them as we do them interacting with each other as we are unfortunately only really privy to homura's life after she began looping for the most part but we can see it in the way she has expresses concern and distress for them in moments where she believes they are in real, tangible danger of being hurt (she's winces and tries to turn away when aiming for mami's leg and screams out when she believes mami is about to be truly harmed after their gun fight, which neither ever had the real intention of hitting one another with any of those bullets in the first place). her entire witch's labyrinth is one where everyone is happy and gets the lives they desire. why would her labyrinth, which is meant to reflect in-part her inner feelings and desires, appear that way if she didn't truly want that for everyone?
rebellion is so compelling to me for all of this and so much more!! (I could write a whole other post on the way it presents it's freedom with danger vs control with safety question at the end of the film) she is a girl who has repeatedly suffered incredibly traumatizing events and longs for a world where the person she loves and the friends she considers dear are safe. homura is not really the devil, but she wants to appear to be because being the devil would be easier than being a human being in these circumstances.

Ok so I was imagining a Jaya wedding and I couldn’t stop thinking “I know we canonically see her in a ball gown and him wearing a tux (separate occasions) but it was against their will and I genuinely cannot even imagine Nya wearing a ball gown. So then I thought “we’ll she could wear a tux” and then I was like “but that seems too boring for jay, I don’t think they both would wear tuxes” and then I had to draw this. I had such an amazing joke comic involving Kai I was gonna draw but then I totally forgot what it was 😭. Anyways I drew a second version where he wears the labyrinth dress because that seems more him. Also I forgot his scar but that’s okay.
All for me to realize “THIS IS NINJAGO. THEY WOULD NOT BE WEARING ANY OF THIS, SHE WOULD WEAR A KIMONO/UCHIKAKE/SHIROMUKU etc. AND JAY WOULD WEAR A HAKAMA 😭” and I got so sad that I wasted my time on this instead of them in japanese or Chinese wedding wear that I almost didn’t post anything. Because where’s my gender nonconforming Jay and Nya if they both are wearing kimono 😞. But then I remembered that scene where Jay says “ooo can I wear one” and Nya says “girls wear kimono” and Jay says “I could wear it 😞” so he literally still could be.
Idk man I’m tired and hungry and really dumb. So enjoy. If you want me to draw a canon well thought out version of what I think their wedding would be like, reblog or comment idk

Imagine that one scene from that animated series justice league where Batman reveals everyone's secret identity(like a badass) then takes off his cowl and they're all in shocked confusion. I mean that's baby girl Bruce Wayne, sunshine of Gotham as The Dark Knight. Then they all get really protective of him. They might've feared him before but now they know he's just baby. It doesn't matter that he can beat them all, he's baby... Idk I find the idea cute
Okay, so I love that scene dearly, but my heart screams for something more personal? If that makes sense? I'll take inspiration from one of my favorite Spider-Man identity revels.
Let's imagine this; The city, Gotham or Metropolis or just an unlucky piece of land that had a really bad day. Hal saw the building collapse first, coming down on them like an avalanche of death.
Hal isn't very good at brain work; He's not like Flash, who can map out an entire route in his mind in a blink, calculating escape routes, and distances, and lengths, and how fast he can run without injuring anyone.
He's not strategic like Wonder Woman, or pragmatic like Batman, or sensible like Superman. He's not the brainpower; But he's pretty damn good at acting like he's okay.
And withstanding that building because Superman got Injured, well.
He can do so with sweat raining down his temple and pain screaming in his system and a smile on his lips, "This is a really good arm work out, guys,"
" Hang in there, Lantern,"
He hears that you're doing great, Hal just well under his hero moniker from Barry. It's a good power up, if nothing else.
Wonder Woman rubs his shoulders before attending to the injured, helping them dig a way out before the oxygen dries out.
Another thing he's not good at is comforting people; He's lost to crying kids. Especially crying kids whose parents are paste under rubble and hubris.
His back is arching, his fire's going out. All he knows is that those little sniffles and whimpers in the hissing silence hurts worse.
The only person he can think would be worse than him at it is Batman; Stone masked, more shadow than person, a labyrinth of a man.
But Hal isn't paid to think for a reason, because Batman kneels by that kid, and places a fatherly hold on his shoulders, just like Hal's father used to do when he bruised his knees climbing trees.
He doesn't say anything, because there's nothing to say. Words aren't medicine, after all. He's just waiting, it seems like, until the kid speaks first, " My daddy's dead."
"...Yes. I'm sorry."
"But, -- but you were here. You're the justice league! No one dies when you're around! You're supposed to save everybody! So why-- why not him?!"
The weight gets heavier.
" Your father asked us to take care of you first. He protected you."
" You should've left me, then! What am I going to do now? I'm just, -- I'm just...A human."
" So am I."
" No, you're Batman. That's, -- That's not the same. You don't understand. "
Hal's vision is blurry and pained, bordering dangerously close to the deep dark void of unconsciousness, -- but he can't, he can't, God damn it Hal, be useful for once in your entire life, -- but he makes out a shadow moving.
He makes out the shape of Bruce's cowl, an armor, a secret, a mystery with no epilogue. Then he sees pale. Two dots of blue, sparkling from dark grey smudge.
When his vision sharpens, so does the tired face of Bruce Wayne.
"...Oh, holy shit."
" I do, " his voice changes, too, thought that may be just Hal's pumping eardrums playing tricks on him. He goes from grainy and rough to rain soft and porcelain. " I do know. Our pain isn't the same. But the way we can get through it, is. Together."
The kid falls in his arms. For just a moment, it seems like death won when the ring powers out.
"Shazam!"
" Hey guys," Shazam's pretty wheezy for a tank made of beef and godly hands, " Sorry for the hold up. Got stuck in traffic."
They make it out. They use the picture of Wonder Woman carrying him out on her back, and Green Arrow shoves it in his face at the first opportunity.
He doesn't expect them to stick around in the hospital. But he does need to know, " Okay, so, hopefully that wasn't a near death fever dream. But are you Bruce Wayne?"
He asks Batman, and Bruce answers, a tone of shyness not unlikely a new kid introducing himself to the class, " ...Yes. and you're Hal Jordan."
"...Was it the biceps that gave it away?"
He doesn't smile, but Hal doesn't expect him to.
" Well, I mean...I'm in for the long run with you guys," Barry offers them a dorky smile before taking off his mask, too. " My name is Barry Allen. And I'm the fastest man alive...Also a bit of a science nut. I need to see your gadgets, by the way. Your Kevlar durability is just amazing, I mean the way you somehow altered the material,--"
" Oh," Apparently, Batman can blush. It's pretty addictive.
One by one, they follow, all easy smiles, all trust.
" My name is Diana. Princess of Themyscaria. I enjoy ice cream and swords."
" My name is Oliver Queen, and if you want to make a gay joke, don't bother. I said them all and I'm getter at it. And you!" He points directly at Bruce with an arrow, " You're in so much trouble for not telling me about this!"
" You didn't tell me either."
" What kind of detective can't explain the white, blonde, rich, good looking guy apart from Green Arrow? Come on."
Hal has a suspicion Bruce already knew, but said nothing out of courtesy.
" Hal Jordan. I almost broke my spine for you, so, you're welcome for That."
Superman strokes the back of his neck and hunches his shoulders, " I'm, uh, Clark Kent. I'm a journalist for the Daily Planet. I, uh...Make a mean apple pie. Which I could really go for right now."
" Hey, you punched Lex Luthor in the face! Good on you, man."
Diana chuckles, " You'll have to make your famous apple pie for us some time."
" Sure. I like eating with friends."
Hal and Oliver are definetly discussing that blush on Bruce later.
They all turn to Shazam, who's been listening, quiet for once, before he blows a laugh, "Uh, yeah, pass. You guys are nice and all, but I'm more than fine with this. Just me. Good old Shazam."
Crack.
" Is that...Is that a fucking 10 year old?!"
" I'm eleven!"
" What the FUCK,--"
" Don't curse in front of the 9 year old!"
" Again, I am eleven!"
" Who let the 8 year old in!?"
" Wow. Adults really don't listen, huh."
Bruce quite literally shakes on one place, " Are, um, are your parents deceased by chance?" He sounds hopeful about it, too.
" So. A handsome pilot. The fastest dork alive. A badass princess. A good guy who punches hard. A bow and arrow. A weirdo. And a 5 year old. We're quite the group, huh?"
" Again. I'm 11."
" Until you don't bring me some pizza and a bear, you're nothing."

I watched the Madoka Magica: Rebellion movie today, and I absolutely loved it. A very interesting spin on the shows ending, and it makes perfect sense to me. In the show, nearly all of them died except for Madoka and Homura, the former of which sacrifices herself to become a God of sorts so that way no other magical girl will have to suffer anymore. So she leaves Homura alone. Alone in a world where nobody but Homura remembered Madoka. And after everything that girl went through to try and save Madoka, that's a hard pill to swallow. So when it's revealed in the movie that the reality that the girls are in isn't real, and that one of them made it up because they now have the powers of a witch, it made perfect sense for that person to be Homura.
Tumblr media
Out of all the other magical girls, she's the one who has faced the most heartbeat and despair. Constantly going back in time, creating different worlds as a result of said time travel, all in a bid to save Madoka, the person who she loves the most. And in the end, all of her efforts were in vain. She lost the one person who she had sworn to save and protect. So is it any wonder that she would give in to her despair and create a world where Madoka and all of their friends could live peacefully?
Tumblr media
Look at them. All together and happy, unaware of the reality they actually come from. In other words, a world that Homura wanted and desired more than anything else. Something that I found to be really interesting and thought was a nice touch was this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The people around them don't have faces. Almost as if they weren't real people, and the only ones who WERE in fact real was Homura, her friends, and the people closest to them. They were the only ones who actually had faces in this world. Of course, eventually Homura realizes that something is off about the world, and confides in Kyoko. The two then set out to Kyoko's hometown, hoping to find some answers there....only for the bus that they were on to take them back to the city that they currently live in. And endless loop that they can't get out of. As if nothing outside of that city existed. A lot of stuff happens, and Homura eventually comes to a startling conclusion: that she was the witch that created the labyrinth they were all currently stuck in. As a result, she gives in to despair entirely and transforms into a witch. Madoka and the others arrive to try and save Homura. And now we get up to the scene that had me screaming😂.
Tumblr media
I've been shipping these two since I watched the show, so the fact that Sayaka actually confessed to Kyoko here was a very welcomed surprise, lol. Anyway, they all fight together to save Homura (also, I loved that they played Misterioso by Kalafina for that scene, absolutely banger song) and eventually Madoka regains her true form once again:
Tumblr media
Everything looks like it's going well, and it looks like Homura will be saved....until this happens:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Homura takes away Madoka's God powers so she can live as an ordinary girl, and takes the power for herself, essentially turning her into a demon.
Tumblr media
Now, I'm pretty sure that there's a lot of people who hated this part, but honestly? I loved it. To me, it really showed how done Homura was with everything (and I can't say that I blame the girl, she just found out from Kyube that she was being used for an experiment in order to get to Madoka) and that she would literally do ANYTHING to make sure that Madoka and her friends could live happy lives.
Even if that meant becoming a demon to do it.
The movie ends with all of the girls alive. And this time, instead of Madoka no longer existing in the world, she's here too. In fact, she's the transfer student instead of Homura. Very interesting turn of events indeed.
All in all, I really loved this movie and I think the ending makes perfect sense, especially for someone like Homura, who has been through a heck of a lot for a young girl her age. So becoming the villain in the end? Fits her tragic story perfectly.

My thoughts on PJO episode 3: part 2
Part one:
We have no food so I’m back
-Having Alecto outside the Garden was such a clever way of adding intensity to the scene and answers the question of like why didn’t they just leave?
-I loved the changed to them knowing who Medusa is right away. It fits the characters and the vibe of the story so much better
-MEDUSA Omgs
-She was perfect. Her outfit and voice and presence was just absolutely intimidating while also almost nurturing? I was confused as where I should trust her or not, which is the point.
-the way they changed her story was astonishing and all the better for it. Her devotion to Athena. The parallel to Annabeth and how they both worshiped a god who has never recognized them (besides the cap). Medusa’s blind faith and her hatred towards Poseidon after he used her.
-“I’m a survivor” 😘👌🏻 perfect delivery
-Medusa calling Poseidon a monster and it reminding Percy of what his mother said.
-HIM TRUSTING MEDUSA BECAUSE OF HIS MOTHER
-The parallels between Medusa and Sally. The unity Medusa believes they share.
-“I don’t think she’s like that” The only one who can speak about Annabeth like that is HIM
-The INSTANT Medusa mentions killing Percy’s friends he is out of there. Like most people have pointed out: a great nod to his fatal flaw of loyalty.
-The labyrinth was so freaking cool guys. Like wtf. That was amazing. I kept picturing the scene from the movie and it blew that out of the water (even tho that’s my favorite scene from the movie. I mean come on, the iconic iPod reflection? Shall never be forgotten) But the invisibility cap was really cool too
-Grover flying of into the distance, screaming his head off, and Percy and Annabeth just being like “whelp, new plan”
-THEM WORKING TOGETHER
-Annabeth watching Percy kill Alecto. Again, wasn’t sure exactly what she was feeling when I first watched it but looking back I think she’s finally realizing like, oh, this boy is more capable then I thought. Maybe he can be useful. Maybe he can do this. Maybe I have a crush on- wait no not possible. Eww.
-Them finally reconciling after Grover broke.
-Oh and I love that they made the uncle Ferdinand a more sad, meaningful moment. I mean, that part in the movie was funny, but that wouldn’t have fit the vibe at all and I think it really added to Grover’s character. I wanted to hug him.
-Leah’s expression after Percy says he picked her cause they could never be friends. She was hurt and it broke me.
-THOSE TWO ARE GOING TO FALL IN LOVE
-Percy not realizing Annabeth’s hat is so important. Then immediately giving it back.
-“I am impertinent” This boy is Percy incarnate.
-LIN MANUEL MIRANDA wtf I wasn’t ready. Jump scare bro. Like give a girl a heads up.
I’m sooooo excited for next episode!! I think it’s going to be one of the best yet. This episode was perfect in its changes and implications. It was a new take on what we’ve read and seen before and even tho some people are mad about it, you have to realize that they have to keep it new. They have to adjust and change and ADAPT! I knew what was going to happen but yet I didn’t and it kept it interesting to me. It was a job well done. Again, please comment or reblog with any other takes or add one because I love seeing everyone’s perspectives. Just please remember to be kind!

Autistic Anime Boys Prelims - Propaganda Division - Group 3
Tumblr media
Propaganda:
Gene -
"Has a special interest in film and almost works himself to death because he doesn't think his film is as perfect as he wants it to be. He completely botches a project on purpose, an action blockbuster, because he felt like it wasn't respecting the thing he loves the most."
Kei -
"It was the scene in which Makoto and Nao discover that he was able to stuff so many wild plants into his bookbag bc there was literally nothing in it that sold it for me. I can't put it into words. I just see that and I know. I know that boy is autistic."
Arthur -
"His powers are literally fueled by his special interest in knights and chivalry."
Euini -
"I relate a lot to his social anxiety, especially his performance anxiety that occurs when he's being watched by people, particularly due to his stress at needing to follow the plan/do things the "proper" way in order to not feel like he's a failure. he also stands like a lil autistic kid and i appreciate him so much for that.
(LIGHT SPOILERS) basically, he has a test that he needs to take in order to advance as a witch, and he keeps failing it because he cant perform properly while being watched by other people, even though he knows the "right" spells to use and why he's supposed to use them. on his third attempt of the test, he's prepared a "script" to use so that he can follow it and not worry about failing in the moment (in this case, his script is a hand-written book of the proper spells to use and the order in which he's supposed to use them), but when a part of the exam changes, he's no longer able to follow his script. because he's been taught all his life that there's only one proper way of doing things, his way of thinking is very rigid and he's not able to deviate from his plan without panicking. luckily, one of his fellow examinees (richeh from the autistic anime girls poll 💕) is able to convince him to try and change the way that he does things to something that is more attuned to his personal needs- basically change the way that he casts his spells and which spells to use so that he doesn't need to struggle with doing things in the way that everyone says that he should; the way that he cant seem to manage. but, even before richeh helped him with that though, he was still finding way to modify the "proper" spells a little bit to better suit his weaknesses. he was trying so hard to fit in to the mold that witch society gave him, but it just wasnt right for him and he was making it work however he could."
Westar -
"something something Westar's entire character is an anomaly amongst the other denizens of Labyrinth in that he's a big goofball in a world where everything is dictated to the extreme by its ruler. if that's not an autism metaphor of some kind I don't know what is."
Sousuke -
"Sousuke Sagara is an ex-child soldier turned teenage special ops who has to go undercover at a high school to discreetly bodyguard another student. The only problem is that he has no IDEA how to act like a "normal" teenager. Sure, you can say that a lot of his mannerisms come from the whole "raised as a child soldier" thing which, fair, you could make a decent case for (C)PTSD. However, he's also extremely serious and has notorious flat affect and does not understand when other people are joking at all. He's incredibly literal; there's several scenes where he misinterprets what someone says, like the time he asked the art teacher what a model was supposed to do and got a rambling flowery metaphorical response about "becoming one with nature" so he ran off to hide in the woods. Another thing, his social skills are… lackluster at best. He's very blunt, and also a terrible liar for an undercover agent, when the student in question confronted him his strategy was to repeat the same phrase over and over again. One time he's challenged to see if he can pick up any girls, and after a brief misunderstanding his "improved" flirting tactic was to jump in front of them and say "Hi! Would you like to know the names of defense agency spies?" Speaking of, Sousuke has an obvious special interest in the military tech and giant robots he works with. He reads their magazines for fun and was able to rattle off the specs for a model Russian tank. The first time he actually looks happy is when he accidentally starts infodumping in front of the class while introducing himself. One time he got distracted on a mission (and need I remind you, Sousuke takes his job VERY seriously) because he found someone who was also interested in the giant robots and got into a full-on conversation with them and completely forgot what he was doing. It is IMPOSSIBLE to read this boy as allistic. And sure, he might be a little stiff, but he's also very caring in his own awkward way. One time he gave a girl flowers as an apology gift…because they were poppies and he told the girl she could get rich by selling opium on the black market. The "picking up girls" challenge mentioned earlier ended with him helping a grandmother pick out a toy for her grandson. He agreed to pretend to be someone's boyfriend for a day (it went exactly how you'd expect, but it's the thought that counts). In conclusion: stan Sousuke Sagara. and vote for him too."
Katsuhira -
"His entire thing over the course of the entire show is that he doesn't feel pain or emotions like other people. He isn't 'interested in himself' or other people (low empathy) and doesn't realize that the things that happen to/because of him do effect other people, he doesn't realize when people have a crush on him or want to be friends, and all of this is stuff he kinda comes to realize as the show progresses. He struggles to care for himself physically because of the lack of physical and emotional input he experiences, and his friends canonically often cook for him and have to remind him to eat, and is a bit picky about what he eats. He cannot read social cues to save his life and is very blunt and honest when communicating with others, and doesn't talk with much tone or emotion in his voice."
John -
"Is very loud and passionate and says everything he thinks out loud, not understanding why others may see that as weird. Has difficulty controlling his volume, so he's almost always shouting."
Yuuri -
"So he models his entire life around the first celebrity he gets a crush on. He's takes up that celebrity's hobby, he gets the same kind of dog that his crush has, and he definitely has his bedroom wallpaper with his crush's face. But then, he actually meets his crush. And his crush likes him back. Naturally he panics over this and proceeds to deny it for months until his crush straight up kisses him. Then like a day later, he just, buys a ring and proposed to his crush on the spot. He's the guy ever. He's so socially awkward, yet somehow still incredibly cocky."
Yoshimori -
"Baking special interest but does Not Get math my beloved."

a place that feels eerily familiar to you, like you knew it in a dream + price !! 🫶
congrats on so many sillies following you!!!
1k game here
this one was kinda hard to think of something for but i hope you like it! also thank you ily <3 i love my sillies
2.2k of john price x single mom reader. this is kinda labyrinth inspired, except i've never see labyrinth so we're going on vibes alone. no smut! this is another one with very little of the character requested, but im gonna get better about not doing that i promise <3
You're gobsmacked as you stare at the scene in front of you.
The walls are painted almost aggressively bright, with rainbows crisscrossing over each other in every direction, random bursts of white you think are meant to be clouds. The colors make you squint a little, you didn't even know paint could be that bright.
It's almost painful to look at. It's also... familiar. You're not sure why, but it is.
You shake off the odd sense of déjà vu, refocusing on your goal.
"Alice?" You call out again, cupping your hands around your mouth and shouting as loudly as you can. "Alice, baby, where are you? Can you hear me?"
Nothing.
It's hard not to fall to your knees and just give up. The only thing keeping you standing is the memory of your sweet baby girl in that man's arms. Her little cherubic face tucked into his neck, tiny body dwarfed by his massive form...
You force a full breath into your lungs, then another, then another. You won't be able to help Alice if you can't keep your head.
"Alright, think," you whisper to yourself, taking another moment to scan the room. "If I were a piece of shit baby-stealer, where would I keep a perfect angel?"
Nothing responds.
The room is definitely meant for a child, but scaled up to your size. The door you'd come in through has disappeared, leaving you stuck in this weird rainbow nightmare.
There's a bed against one wall - not really a bed so much as a stack of no less than six mattress one on top of the other, all with the same purple bedsheets. They nearly reach the ceiling, and on the very top your sure you can see several stuffed animals.
There are bookshelves against one wall, floating shelves styled after unicorns where the books rest along their backs and the unicorns themselves stick out from the wall. It's horrendously impractical - all you can think about is how much dusting they would need, how dangerous they could be if they fell on top of someone.
The floor is a nice hardwood with a large plush rug in the center, stylized to look like a white cat curled up in a little ball.
The room is spotless. Nothing is out of place, there's not a spec of dust anywhere to be seen, and nothing is stained. You wish your own daughter's room was this clean, but three year old's are a very messy species.
This room is clearly meant for a kid, but you can tell it's never been used. No child could keep a white rug so clean.
You sit on the floor in front of the purple bed and try to collect your thoughts, eying the room around you.
The man - John Price, he'd said around a cigar - had been clear about your task. Find your way out of the labyrinth in twenty-four hours, and you'll be reunited with your baby.
Of course the jackass had neglected to mention it's a magical labyrinth. Of course he hadn't told you that the maze would literally reconstruct itself right in front of your eyes.
This room had appeared practically out of thin air too, which is why you suspect that no one's ever been here but you. The whole place has an air of cleanliness that leaves your skin crawling.
The walls though... there's something so familiar about them.
It hits you a few moments later.
You'd had a coloring book as a little girl that was rainbow themed - each page featured a rainbow in a different setting, or a different shape, or an animal with rainbow patterns, things of that nature. Your favorite page had been the one without any design but rainbows, arches crisscrossing over each other in every direction. You spent hours painstakingly coloring it properly, despite the fact that it was nearly impossible to tell where the top of the rainbow was in certain places.
You'd begged your mother to paint your room like that, promised her that you'd help, that you'd never complain about your chores again, all typical little kid stuff. Your mother had refused, and you'd forgotten all about it by breakfast the next day.
That pattern from the coloring book is the same one decorating the walls, complete with the incorrect colors in certain places. That's where you remember it from.
And... and that bed. Mattress stacked on top of one another, purple bedsheets. It's just like an old copy of The Princess and the Pea your father brought home one day. You had been so entranced with the idea of a bed so tall that you'd never even cared about the end of the story. You vividly remember begging for a tall bed like the princess had, and you'd gotten it - you slept in a loft bed for most of your teen years.
It's clear from there what's going on. The unicorn shelves are plucked from your memory too, originating from a years long obsession with the mythical creatures. The rug, now that you think about it, matches one your kindergarten teacher had. The whole room is filled with things that you thought would be great in a bedroom as a little girl.
So.... how do you get out?
There's no door, no windows, no attic, nothing. Just a sealed rainbow box.
You skim your memory as quickly as possible, trying to imagine any sort of escape route you might've wanted. When you were little, you'd gone through a phase of wanting to live in a tower like Rapunzel, but that had a window. You also tried to run away once, becoming very enamored with the idea of living in a tent. You'd wanted to live in a treehouse for a bit, and that....
Oh. That's it.
You'd wanted to live in a treehouse, and your father jokes that you would roll right out of the hatch when you were asleep. You'd proudly said nuh-uh and told him how you'd drag the mattress over the hatch every night.
You glance over your shoulders at the six mattress stacked on top of each other and sigh.
-------------------------
It takes a while, but you finally manage to shove the last mattress away from it's spot.
Not only is there a trapdoor beneath it, there's one singular pea.
You'd laugh if you were any less exhausted.
You leave the rainbow room all but destroyed - the stuffed animals had gone flying and knocked off the books, and the floor is almost completely covered by mattress - but you're far too excited about your small win to worry about cleaning up.
You climb down the ladder in a tiny, enclosed space, breathing slowly to keep yourself from hyperventilating. It's almost pitch-black and you can't fight off the image of the walls shifting around you, deciding you're not supposed to be here and.....
You breathe a sigh of relief when your feet hit the floor.
Your first instinct is to call out for your daughter again, hope that she hears and cries out for you, but this room - dark and undecorated - is dead silent. The kind of silent that feels wrong to break. So you inch forward towards the only door you can make out along the wall.
Your hand shakes as you push it open, tense as you reveal....
A nursery.
A nursery with your baby in it, your little girl all curled up in a crib that she's a bit too old for. She's wearing something different than what you had her in, but she's real and she's safe.
You step froward on instinct, standing at the side of the crib. Just as you're reaching in to grab her and run, a voice speaks up from behind you.
"What are you doing?"
You jolt, spinning around and pressing your back in front of where your baby sleeps.
It's the man again. He can barely fit through the doorway (literally ducks) and he's broad enough to nearly block it. He's almost cartoonishly large, with tree trunk thighs and arms, a soft padding around his body that makes him look both terrifying and nice to hug.
His beard twitches as he frowns at you, thick eyebrows dipping low over his eyes.
"You're not supposed to be here."
You shake your head a little, getting your racing heart under control. "You said if I could find Alice in twenty-four hours I could go home."
He shakes his head slowly, stepping further into the room. The door disappears behind him. "No, I said find your way out of the labyrinth and you could keep her."
Against your own will, you feel tears start to sting in your eyes. "But..."
"How did you get here?" He asks again, shifting back a bit. His face softens just slightly, but that isn't saying much.
"I found a door," you say. "Under the mattresses."
He hums. "You remembered, then."
Now it's your turn to look confused. "Of course I did. It was my dream as a child."
His head tilts to the side as he takes a few steps forward. "You would be shocked how many parents have forgotten their own dreams. It's pathetic," he spits.
You try to push a little further back as he comes within reaching distance, but you have nowhere else to go.
"Pathetic?"
"Yes. How are you supposed to fulfil your child's dreams if you can't remember your own?"
"But... but not all dreams are meant to come true."
He scowls at you, leaning a little further forward. "Really? You don't remember how devastated you were when you didn't get that treehouse? Or the rainbow walls? You cried for hours, I saw it in your memories. Why would you want to put your daughter through that?"
That's... invasive, but you try to move past it. "But my dreams weren't always good for me. I couldn't sleep in the treehouse, what if something went wrong? There could've been a storm, or someone in the woods, or I could've gotten too scared to go inside - any number of things. And I would've been bored of the walls by the weekend, of course my mother didn't spend days painting them just for me to be over it before I even said thank you."
He hums a bit, bringing a hand up to stroke his chin. "You would deny your daughter's dreams because you don't want to create them, then?"
You scowl at that, holding yourself back from poking a finger into his chest. "Are you calling me lazy? How dare you! You know, I work two jobs to take care of that little girl all by myself since her daddy's a deadbeat, I work myself to the bone making sure she can eat, and you call me lazy for not painting the walls the colors she wants?"
He latches onto the wrong part of the sentence. "Her father's not in the picture?"
You glare at him. "That's what you got from that?"
He seems to be stuck in deep contemplation, taking another step forward so your chests nearly brush and you're forced to stare up at him.
"So, it's not for a lack of love, then?"
"What? Of course not. If I could, I'd give Alice everything she could ever want and more. But that's not how the real world works."
"It's how the labyrinth works."
"Excuse me?"
He gestures broadly to the nursery. "The labyrinth is kind to her inhabitants. She gives them everything they desire, because it's easy for her."
You've never been more confused in your life. "Okay? Good for her, then."
You get the feeling he's reached a conclusion that you can't even see in the distance as he nods to himself, leaning to the side a bit to glance at Alice. You fight down the urge to leap over the crib and cover her body with yours.
"Then you will stay here."
That jerks you back to reality. "Wait- what?"
"You will stay in the labyrinth, where she can provide for... what did you call her? Alice? Yes, Alice. You and Alice will be taken care of here."
"But-" you splutter. "But I found her! You said I had to find her!"
He shoots you a slightly exasperated look. "No, as I said before, you had to find your way out. You didn't. And look at that, time's up." A timer appears in the air in front of him, ticking down to zero. "Now you and little Alice are mine. It's been a little empty around here recently, it won't be the worst thing to have company for a bit."
You feel heat rush to your face. "No! Let us go, you can't keep me here on a technicality!"
He smiles - a real smile, brightening up his eyes - and surprises you by cupping your cheek with one big paw.
"Oh my dear, it's my labyrinth, I can do whatever I want in it. And it's not a technicality, though I could keep you based on several of those too."
You fume as you glare up at him, hands curled into fists. "I'll find my way out. You can't keep us here."
He chuckles, patting your cheek once before stepping away. "Oh, yes, I think you'll be fun to keep around for a while, darling. Try your best to escape, if you'd like. I don't think I'll mind finding you lost a few more times."

hiya! hope you doing well.
would you elaborate on the interpretation you were talking about in your Labyrinth post tags? what you said was really interesting and I never thought about it that way! 👀
also, hope you had fun watching! ✨✨✨
certainly.
i’d always been subscribed to the interpretation that the labyrinth is a metaphor for navigating coming of age, that the end of sarah’s hero’s journey is a means of balancing adult maturity with never losing a child’s sense of wonder and imagination. the fandom has thought up tons of explanations for where jareth falls in this scenario. is he a tangible antagonist, actively trying to get sarah to slip back into her old childish ways? a metaphor for adulthood, all that sarah is and isn’t ready for?
i think he’s all sarah’s creation. so does jim henson.
“He represents a lot of things that are a part of Sarah's world, what she's trying to figure out and what she's going through. … [Jareth] has no reality except what Sarah gives him, which she can constantly change.”
sarah seems to be very genre-savvy. she reads lines from a play titled the labyrinth, and she recognizes the puzzle of the two guards and implies she’s practiced it before in case she’d happen to encounter it. here, the labyrinth is a product of sarah’s fantasy, by which she navigates her adolescence and her parents’ divorce and her perceived lack of autonomy in a manner typical of a seasoned fantasy reader.
sarah is well aware that every fantasy hero needs a villain. the likeness she gives hers is that of her mother’s costar—as the former mrs. williams is a stage actress, shown in the photo on sarah’s vanity of her posing with a fellow actor who looks just like this jareth. sarah made jareth, made him as beautiful and dangerous as she believed he should be.
sarah made jareth.
to jareth, god is a sixteen-year-old girl.
imagine god, calling you by name, crowning you a king and giving you beauty and power. you were quite literally born for this. all you know is this role, building yourself and your kingdom just the way god wishes it.
then, god turns herself away from you.
you may feel betrayed. hollow, like you’ve been stripped of everything that makes you you. “you made me this way,” you might say.
Everything! Everything that you wanted, I have done. You ask the child to be taken, I took him. You cowered before me, I was frightening. I have reordered time, I have turned the world upside down, and I have done it all for you.
“i was playing the role you put me in. what was i made for, if not you?
i can’t live within you.”
Just fear me, love me, do as I say
“let me play the role of villain, the role you made me to fill.”
and I would be your slave.
“your will be done.”
god is a sixteen-year-old girl who hasn’t yet figured out the way she wants to be worshipped. it’s a heavy burden, trying to satisfy someone who doesn’t know what she wants.
but there is hope for jareth.
fandom rarely debates on how to interpret the barn owl at the beginning of the film. we’re pretty much in consensus that it’s a manifestation of jareth, but that’s never given much thought.
when sarah asserts her power and escapes the labyrinth, jareth has once again taken the form of the owl. in the final scene, when sarah celebrates with her friends from the labyrinth, reconciling her love of fantasy with her maturity and self-growth, jareth flies away, smaller and smaller until he’s gone. here we turn to the age-old metaphor of flight as freedom.
in moving away from escapism and becoming an active participant in her own life, sarah has freed jareth from the role of villain. none of the friends in her room are human. be reminded again that jareth bears the likeness of a man present (at least tangentially) in sarah’s real life, who would likely feel disheartened knowing he’s blamed for something beyond his control.
because sarah has no more need for a jareth, there is no more jareth. and that’s arguably best for both of them.
(p.s.: i go to the theater tomorrow! i have a sarah-esque outfit put together and everything. thanks for wishing me well & know tomorrow can’t come soon enough for me… this film has been among my favorites for many many many years and each watch makes me find more to love. best cult i’ve ever joined)

Why Namor x Shuri makes sense in terms of story structure
So if we go off context, Nashuri was already planned by the writers, as seen in interviews and the og script. Which isn't surprising because viewers picked up on their chemistry and romantic undertones in the movie already. The only reason this was changed is because they wanted to focus on the theme of grief and dealing with loss. Which has been the main theme for phase 4 in general since we're moving on to new heroes.
Also not sure if people are aware of this but the choice to kill Ramonda was more or less a last minute decision by Ryan. Angela only agreed to it after Ryan brought up how often it is for characters to come back.
So this could mean Ramonda's coming back to life or will continue to make appearances. If she does come back to life this more or less weakens the "but he killed her mom!" Argument.
Now let's talk about Shuri's story and Namor's role in it. Because at the end of the day this is Shuri's story.
Shuri's story in WF is her journey from childhood to adulthood. Tenoch has said this is his favorite thing about her story.
In the beginning she is a girl by the end she is a woman.
The particular kind of story structure Ryan used is called "The Heroine's Journey" a popular method to use in storytelling with female leads.
You'll find similar stories following this method in movies like "Star Wars, Labyrinth, The Hunger Games, The Wizard of Oz etc."
"The Heroine's Journey" is a female version of "The Hero's Journey" which is used for male leads. T'Challa actually goes through his hero's journey during "Civil War" and "BP" so im not suprised Ryan used the female version for his sister.
Tumblr media
If you look at the structure of the heroine's journey Shuri pretty much hits all of these.
Distancing herself from her mother, venturing out of Wakanda (both in America and in Talokan) aka leaving the nest, and having her time to shine.
Both the hero and heroine's journies are a method to mature your lead in a way that makes sense and is relatable since hey, we all gotta grow up some times.
Also a subtle thing Ryan incorporated was how both Ramonda and Okoye treat Shuri like she's a child while Namor treats her like an adult, because she is.
Now something that is not always included but is common in both, is the hero or heroine's being presented with sexual incitement, at times for the first time. This signifies them coming into sexual maturity which is why you won't see it in every story or may just get subtle hits of it.
Now if it wasn't obvious Namor is ment to be Shuri's expirence with sexual enticement. Possibly her first encounter since we don't know her history.
And this isn't a "maybe" situation he literally just is. Firstly, this role usually is presented when the hero leaves the nest, not to mention Namor takes up every single trope of this role.
-Invades the hero's space (hut scene)
-whispers to them (again hut scene)
-touches or caresses them (First holding her hand then putting his mother's bracelet on her)
-shows them something new and exciting (Talokan)
-Is usually older then the hero (20s vs 500)
-Often times wears clothing that is either tight fitted or very little clothing (bro is literally walking around in nothing but jewelry and booty shorts)
Secondly, sometimes you'll straight up get subtle hints and/or introductions of sex it's self.
-In Star Wars there's a scene where Leia has to sit on Han's lap and the ship starts bouncing up and down...
-Again, in Star Wars Kylo Ren wipes his mouth which we see has water on it after meeting with Rey through the force...
-With Shuri in Namor, their fight has a weird amount of grappling and holding, not to mention the back scratching...
Namor treats and speaks to Shuri like she's a grown woman. He doesn't handle her with kid gloves like everyone else, he respects her as an adult who can make her own decisions.
In a dark sense even when it comes to either raging war after Ramonda's death or the alliance. He leaves it up to her to decide.
Also Riri, just isn't this to Shuri. This is not to say people can't ship it cause you can ship whatever you want, their all fictional. But Shuri refers to Riri as "a kid", "a child" or "a girl" depending on what translations you watch. This is to show the audience that Shuri does not view Riri as an adult. They're confirmed to have a sisterly bond. Shuri lost a sibling and gained a sibling.
But back to Namor, he also is noticeably kinder to her then he is to literally anyone else in the movie besides his people. Not to mention it's canon that he finds her charming and interesting. He also likes her smile.
It's confirmed by Ryan that he never wanted to kill her even during their fight which some fans noticed, he never tries to kill her even when he has an obvious chance.
And lastly, he sees Shuri as an equal by the end of the movie, showing he has respect for her as a protector of her nation and possibly even views her as a god now but we have to wait and see on that one.
As quoted by Ryan, Namor is ment to be a Peter Pan archetype and when you think about it he really is. He's black and white way of thinking is very childish, he's incredible stubborn, he's arrogant and cocky, yet at the same time, curious and charming. Like Peter he's a father to his people (he literally refers to them as his children) and their sole protector.
There's innocence to his character that's very compelling and shows how young he is in mind.
-he collects (maybe steals, very Killmonger of him) Mayan artifacts from the surface since he never got to see Ancient Maya.
-speaking of collecting things, he even collects random surface world stuff. He has 2 gramophones in his hut, which he most likely got from a ship back in the day.
-he's suprised and charmed by Shuri's kindness. Which makes session since she's the first surface person he's ever spent time with.
-and hey, he got his love of drawing from his mama.
Now what does all this mean for Namor and Shuri in the future? Well for one you got a good amount of back up for them no longer being enemies.
1. Shuri's heroine's journey is over now.
2. Namor was the one who forced her into womanhood.
3. We concluded the story at her finalizing her grief
4. It's canon that Namor was humbled by Shuri after their fight.
5. Wakanda and Talokan will be working with each other.
6. Namor may play a mentor like role with Shuri
7. Dispite many romance scenes being removed they still chose to keep enough hints for people to pick up on.
8. Their fight is described as "intimate" by both writers.
9. Namor and Shuri are described as "two sides of the same coin" and "twin flames" (these are the same descriptions that were used for Rey and Ben Solo in Star Wars)
Why does them having a possible relationship make sense? Well the most basic answer? They're the only two people that can understand what the other is going through.
Their both protectors of great nations that are centered around a resource unique to their land and have a culture and ancestry untouched by colonization. They both know grief of losing people they love. (Namor's mother and his two handmaids, Shuri's brother and mother) Their both EXTREMELY intelligent. (Namor build a vibranium sun underwater and I don't remember where I read it but he learned English in a week.) They both find each other interesting. They both see each other as equals. They both have alot of growing to do.
So will they have some kind of relationship? Most likely. Will it be romantic or platonic? Who knows. But we know they won't be enemies so we have to wait and see.

Enjoy!
(In my world Benny wasn't killed, merely shot. Get it? Got it? Good.)
It only hurts this much right now
Was what I was thinking the whole time
Breathe in, breathe through
Breathe deep, breathe out
I'll be getting over you my whole life
You know how scared I am of elevators
Never trust it if it rises fast
It can't last
The situation wasn’t great, that much you would admit, anyone who could see you in this moment could attest to that. To make matters worse you had the perfect plan for today and having a panic attack in the janitor supply closet covered in spaghetti sauce had NOT been it. It hadn’t even been close.
This had all started the day you saw pretty in pink in theaters, sadly by yourself. You had gorged yourself on popcorn and soda as you moped about the lack of friends. But that all changed when you saw Molly Ringwald. More specifically her fashion.
You had been obsessed, well who wouldn’t be considering Molly Ringwald was THE GIRL.
So you had gone home and dragged out your sketchbook, drawing sketch after sketch of the perfect outfit and just like she had in the movie you got to work.
From the pants to the top and even managed to snag one of your dads suit jackets to finish off the look. You had this plan that you would show up, and people would compliment you. You would have your very own montage scene.
That all came tumbling down when Regina had smashed her tray of spaghetti all over you as the entire cafeteria laughed, and when you tried to run out one of the basketball players had stuck his foot out to trip you up.
You dashed to the nearest hiding spot, sobbing and covered in tomato sauces that you were positive was just ketchup warmed up. Your knee hurt from the fall and you could not manage to catch your breath.
Your vision was getting blurry and dark spots were beginning to cloud so you launched a hand out to the shelf behind you to stabilize yourself.
A wave of light hits the small space and for a moment you are afraid you had been found by a teacher but then the light fades and you think you are back to peace. Whoever had found you had decided to leave you to your drama.
But you were wrong.
“Hey, hey hey hey.” A soft voice calls out, two hands landing on your shoulders and rubbing softly. “You gotta breathe, come on. Take a breath with me, will ya?”
“I can’t.. I c-can-”
“Yes, you can. Just look at me.” One of the hands from your shoulder slides up to your jaw, the rings on the hand cool against your flesh as the fingers grip lightly. You're met with brown eyes, the warmest brown eyes you have ever seen. “There she is… now take a deep breath in with me.”
You could do nothing but nod, handing flying up to the arm that is holding you, nails digging into the leather as the figure before you breathes in slowly. You follow, inhaling and holding as they do, releasing when they do.
This routine follows a couple more times and your vision clears minus the blurriness from the tears, until finally you were able to catch your breath and the stranger before you swiped the tears from under your eyes. Once it all clears up you recognize the figure to be Eddie Munson, the DnD captain of the school.
And you can’t help but blurt that out. “You’re the DnD captain.”
He smiles, a small chuckle sleeping past his lips from where he was squatted on the ground to calm you down. “There aren’t really captains, it’s not a stupid sport-”
“Imsorry-”
“Hey now. Easy mistake.” He stops you, squeezing your chin softly before moving to stand. “It’s called a dungeon master, not the kinky kind. You should come sometime.”
“Why are you here?” You blurt out, trying to ease the shaking. You didn’t mean for it to come out so harshly but you were kind of embarrassed.
“I saw what happened in the lunchroom and I wanted to make sure you were okay.”
“You didn’t have to…”
“Oh bullcrap. What they did to you was messed up.” He snaps out, sitting across from you in the closet, your knees touching. “And I don’t have much but I can pay you back for shirt they ruined-”
“No. I actually made it.”
“You made that?”
“I did.”
“You make shirts?”
“This was my first… “
“You are absolutely kidding me, that looks professionally done.” He reaches a hand out to the fabric, running it between three fingers before nodding.
“I got it from a movie. Pretty in pink. Molly Ringwald's character wears it in the first scene and I was absolutely in love with it.”
“Haven’t seen it yet.”
“You should.”
“Yeah? How about tonight?”
“I don’t know, you probably have stuff to do and I…..well my shirt-”
“If you’re worried about me canceling plans then I can assure you I have no plans tonight, and we have to go see the movie so you can get inspiration for your next outfit anyways. Because this one was far too awesome to let some brat in a small cheer outfit meant for toddlers to ruin it for you.”
“Chances are they ruin the next outfit too.”
“Well that’s why you aren’t going to eat alone. You my dear have been invited to the hellfire table.”
“You don’t have to do that.”
“I don’t, I want to. Now come on, we have a movie to catch-”
“What about the rest of the school day?”
“What about it? Come on.”
“You won’t…….” A nervous flush crosses your skin as you look up to where he now stands with an outstretched hand. “Tell anyone about my fit?”
“It’s called a panic attack, and no I will not. That’s between you, me and that creepy broom I’m sure the janitor makes out with at night.”
“Oh that’s mean-”
“Her name is linda, and we should leave before she decides to splinter us.” He whispers and you can’t stop the laugh, reaching your hand up to his own outstretched hand, enjoying the warm feeling of it.
-
Uh oh, I'm falling in love
Oh no, I'm falling in love again
Oh, I'm falling in love
I thought the plane was going down
How'd you turn it right around
`
“Oh come on Dad.” You whine, leaning on the counter in the back kitchens of Benny’s diner as your father pretended to ignore you by flipping burgers at the grill. “Please please please.”
“I can’t hear you.” He whistles, turning to nod to the fryer. “Add more fries. The Byers boys are about to come in and you know how they get about fries. You should also ask about your birthday, I know you haven’t sent out ny invitations because your mom keeps seeing them on the counter-”
“I don’t want a party, I want to learn how to drive dad.” You snap, moving to start the fries. Truth was no one would show up to your party, even if you invited them. You weren’t one that people went out of their way for.
“I will think about it.” Lie, he just didn’t like when you got upset. “Take those fries to the boys when you are done. Good people help good people.”
“Eddie will be here soon, make him a burger?”
“You got it, sugar.”
You smile from ear to ear, finishing up the fries and basking them up before dashing to the byers table and setting them down. “Dads working on your burgers.”
“Thanks…..”Jonathan blinks at you, obviously forgetting your name.
“Y/n. We’ve lived three houses away forever now.”
“Right, sorry.”
Before you can truly get offended by Jonathan's lack of knowledge on you the bell to the diner sounds out and you see a mass of curls pass you quickly to head to your regular table. A smile creeps its way across your lips as you head to the table behind him.
Eddie Munson sits casually, making it look like he had been waiting forever. “You’re late, princess.”
“I was here before you?”
“Excuse me? I was at the table before you which means I was here first-”
“Well I showed up for my shift 2 hours ago which means I was first-”
“Well technically I-” He leans forward to argue, but you had already leant forward so your foreheads bumped together awkwardly, a blush traveling your skin. He watches you for a moment before leaning back and looking around the diner.
Ever since Eddie found you in the janitors closet you had been close. Weekly movie nights became a necessity, you helped him study (you read to him and he pretended to listen as he rifled through your belongings), and he showed you the world of music. (He turned up his speaker to the highest volume and you talked yourself out of kissing him)
Every Friday night Eddie came to pick you up from your shift at your dads diner, you would both head to his trailer for a movie night and tonight was your night to choose.
“It’s busy in here tonight, you sure your dad is okay I steal ya?”
“If you are okay waiting for a bit I’ll go help him with the rush.”
“I’ll be here princess.” He smiles, moving closer so you can kiss his cheek before dashing off to take orders.
By the time you return to him he is leaving cash on the table and rubbing ketchup off his cheek. “You know dad won’t like that.”
“What? I didn’t short him!”
“I meant you leaving the money. You don’t pay here.”
“Yeah I do. Have a good night Y/n's Dad!”
Benny leans through the kitchen window to wave him off with a smile as Eddie throws his arms around your shoulder and leads you out.
“Your dad seemed quite irritated with you tonight.” He notes, pulling you closer to block you from some of the rain.
“Yeah, they have been on me about inviting friends to my party.” You admit, shuffling beside him as his rings catch your eye.
“Party? You’re throwing a party?”
“They want to throw a party for my birthday.”
“You should let them!” He gasps, moving to open the door to his van for you. You hop in with one easy jump, his hand on your hip making sure before he slams the door to make sure it shuts correctly. You try to hold in a laugh at him and his broken car.
Waiting until he is settled next to you to continue the conversation, trying to untie the waitressing apron as he starts the van up. “Who would I invite?”
“Me.”
“Well obviously. But I don’t know what would be worse, making my parents upset by not throwing a party or having them waste hard earned money on decorations and cake just for you and only you to show up.”
“You could invite the hellfire club.”
“They don’t like me,”
“They love you.”
“They have repeatedly said they hate me at the table.”
“Heard that, did you?”
“Gavin said it TO me.”
“Don’t listen to him, he’s on a high because this freshman kid believed his girlfriend in canada story. What do you want for your birthday?”
“No one believes it, the kid was probably being nice. No one believes Gavin has a girlfriend let alone a Canadian supermodel with long hair and a boob job in high school. And I don’t want anythi-”
“You definitely want something, I saw you begging your dad most the night.”
“Do you spend all your time watching me?” You laugh, counting out your tips from the night as he stops at a red light, turning to you with a smile.
“I mean, can you blame me?” A deep heat travels through your body as you make eye contact, seeing those melty brown eyes that have you leaning in ever so slowly.
You have been best friends with Eddie Munson for 3 months now, and at least 2 of those months you’ve had the biggest crush on him. You spent most of your nights waiting for him to call and the rest hanging onto his every word.
You are stuck in a trance before a car honks behind him and Eddie is forced to keep driving.
“Seriously, what do you want?”
“Eds….”
“Can…. can you teach me to drive?”
-
It only feels this raw right now
Lost in the labyrinth of my mind
Break up, break free, break through, break down
You would break your back to make me break a smile
You know how much I hate that everybody just expects me to bounce back
Just like that
“Jesus christ-”
“Don’t be so dramatic!”
“I just wanted a slurpee! Not to DIE!”
“Eddie I just-”
“Hey hey hey, baby eyes on the road-” Eddie rushes out, reaching an arm past you to even out the car, one hand clenched on your thigh and the other on the wheel. His nickname for you has your heart racing through your chest as you try to even out the car as well. “Just wanted a slurpee.”
You both had made a deal, while you were on summer vacation he would teach you how to drive so long as he got full control over movie nights. It meant a lot of cheesy slasher films for you but more time with Eddie and who could complain about that.
“You will get one, just stop.” You chide, pulling the car over to the side of the road. “Can you check my bag to see if I have my glasses?”
“Oh my god you need glasses and you haven’t been wearing them?”
“Just my sunglasses you freak.” He rolls his eyes at you before leaning down to grab your backpack and shuffle around for your glasses. Due to the hot weather Eddie had taken to throwing his hair into a low bun and you absolutely loved it. “Here you go princess.”
“Why thank you.” You smile, snatching them before starting the van once more and zooming into the street.
By the time you make it to the gas station it’s like a game of routine that you and Eddie know well, he swoops around the car to snatch you, throwing you over his shoulder as he paces to the front door to finally set you down. He rushes to the back to grab your slurpee’s, one blue raspberry and one cherry, while you snatch the candy.
By the time you both meet back up at the counter you would be set for movie night.
“Eddie, Y/n.” Gareth sighs in greeting, casting you a quick look that says ‘you stole my friend from me’.
“Don’t give me that look.” You roll your eyes, and he tries to fight off a smile. “You were working today anyways.”
Something that had changed since Eddie forced his band to show up to the birthday party your mother had thrown, they seemed to hate you less and often asked you to join their hangouts now.
“Be nice to my princess.” Eddie warns, slapping your hand away when you move to put your tip money down.
“You paid for the movies, Eds.”
“Yeah well- suck it.”
“I’m sure she would.” Gareth laughs, stopping when Eddie shoots him a glare. “Sorry.”
You slap your hand down to pay, snatching the candy as Eddie tries to snatch the money, but Gareth is too quick and you both are shooting each other a mischievous look as you dash from the station with Eddie on your heel.
“So let me get this straight, I can’t pay for the burgers at the diner-”
“I get an employee meal anyways.”
“And now I can’t pay for our snacks?”
“You paid for the movies!”
“Just…. Damnit princess, just get in the car.”
You shoot him a smile before hopping in, starting the car up and beginning to drive down the road with Eddie focusing on the music. By the time you get to his place the heat of the day has fully stuck to your skin and you both find yourself sitting on his porch as his uncle sleeps in the living room.
These were some of your favorite moments with him, when it was too early for movies and too late to go to the lake, so instead you sat hip to hip as you whispered about anything and everything.
These were the moments you helped him build campaigns and these were the moments he told you about his family before Wayne.
Today you spent the time talking about what you plan on doing over the next couple weeks, his forehead pressed to your shoulder as he struggles with a brain freeze.
“You know what I wish?”  He asks, rubbing his temples.
“What’s that?”
“I wish they had a purple flavor that wasn't grape.” He groans, finally lifting his head from your shoulder and gesturing to the cup. “I freaking love purple.” “Eddie Munson, the great dungeon master, with a purple demon tongue.” You giggle as he rolls his eyes playfully and takes a large sip from his slurpee.  “You know you can make purple.”
“I would never mix blue raspberry with cherry, that would make a disgusting flavor-”
“That’s not the only way.”  Your heart is slamming against your ribcage as you blush, your hands are shaking and you can barely keep a hold of your own slurpee cup.  Before you can debate it you find yourself leaning forward until your lips are on his, smashing together in a clumsy manner.
He seems to freeze at first, pulling back a little which makes you panic and draw back within yourself. “Oh my god I am so sorry.”
He stares, wide eyed and shocked for a moment before slamming his slurpee to the ground and reaching his hands up to either side of your jaw to pull you in for another kiss. His lips smash against yours in an aggressive manner before it calms down and you both kiss back, it’s still a bit awkward and you try to find the proper placement for yourself before he helps you find the perfect rhythm against his own lips.
You spend most your time on the porch, lips mashing against his and when you both pull away for air he finds himself kissing around your face. By the time you hear Wayne’s alarm go off you pull back, both your eyes wide and lips swollen.
“Let me see, princess.” You smile at Eddie’s order, showing your tongue which is now 100% purple. “Fuck. I think I just found my new favorite flavor.”
Uh oh, I'm falling in love
Oh no, I'm falling in love again
Oh, I'm falling in love
I thought the plane was going down
How'd you turn it right around
Eddie’s new favorite flavor didn’t last for long before he decided he had to expand his taste buds a bit, and it wasn’t long after that that he found his all time favorite taste and feeling in the world. You.
He loved your lips on his, he loved sucking hickies into your neck in the janitor supply closet at school and he absolutely loved tasting your lip balms fresh in the morning when he picked you up for school with a quick kiss. But his favorite out of everything? Was when he was between your legs.
The loss of your virginity had waited until the end of summer, but you and Eds had found different things to do to each other before then, until the fateful day at the lake when it all went out the window. Now a month into the school year it was safe to say that you were completely open to Eddie sexually speaking, you felt comfortable and beautiful whenever you were with him and he was one of the best teachers for this aspect of your life.
He also knew everything about your body at this point, made it his job to know like a religious person with a bible. He swore to your body.
Today was like any other, with you splayed out on his mattress, hands splayed through his hair, gripping and pulling whenever he drew a harsh movement. You were a moaning and sweaty mess as he licked and bit at your clit. His hands clenched at your thighs when you pulled his hair harshly, a moan tearing from him which reverberated through your folds and had you clenching again, over and over in a chain reaction.
He taps your hip three times, which is his sign that he wants you to look at him so you do, pulling your head off the pillow. He smiles from ear to ear, his chin glistening as he pulls some of the hair from his eyes. “Fuck princess. Why are you always so delicious?”
“Eds…” You sigh, hiding your face within your hands which he tsks at, leaning over you to snatch your hands away and smile while hovering over you. “Why would you ever hide from me?”
“I want you.” You whisper, hips moving up to meet his own, one leg wrapping around his own.
“And I can give you anything you wan-”
“HEY EDS!”
“Shit-” He rushes out, snatching the blanket that had fallen from the bed and draping it over you unceremoniously in a panic to get you covered. You know he is only covering you out of a place of love but a part of you wonders if  was actually hiding you as she slips his jeans on and rushes out to meet Gareth and Jeff, shutting the door quickly behind him.
You move to get dressed, taking one of his band tees and slipping over you before you find your underwear, shuffling to the door and pressing your ear against it.
“Come on man, we never see you anymore.” Jeff sighs, and you can hear them all shuffling around.
“I see you at DnD all the time-”
“You are always with her!” Gavin snaps out, and you can practically hear him stomp his foot. “Dude, I get it. She doesn’t have any friends and blah blah blah. But that doesn’t mean you can’t have friends anymore!”
Wait, what?
Had Eddie said something about this before? About you not having friends?
“We just think that you should spend a little less time with-” Jeff was always so sweet, and even when he was being mean he found a diplomatic way about it. Gavin on the other hand……not so much. “Screw that man! You yourself said she was being clingy since you started dating and I think you’ve become a real bitch-”
“Gavin, come on man-” Gareth sighs.
“Okay. Okay.” Finally, Eddie’s voice rings out and you wait to hear him defend you, to at least defend the clingy statement. But instead you hear “I’ll meet you outside. Okay? Take it easy.”
You hear him shuffle closer to the room, and you lunge for the bed to make it look like you hadn’t been listening, laying back down and smiling at him when he enters.
Only it wasn’t a true smile, more so one you glued on.
“Hey, that was the boys. They wanna have a last minute band session.” He smiles, shuffling closer to kiss your lips. “I’ll be back  later, okay?” You can do nothing but nod, watching him get dressed before he sends you one last smile and dashes out. You try not to feel much bitterness on it, but you can’t really stop it when you notice he didn’t even take his guitar.
With nothing to do you put on pants and shuffle to the living room, sitting on the couch and debating what you should do from here.
The conversation from earlier circles your mind, the words clingy and the ‘she doesn’t have any friends blah blah blah’.  Eddie must have complained to them about you, that was the only reason they would have said those things.
How embarrassing, and here you were thinking that they had grown on you. Jesus have they all been laughing behind your back this whole time?
You sit on the couch for a bit before deciding to walk home. They thought you were clingy? Fine, you would pull back. They thought you had no friends? Easy. You’d make friends.
“I just don’t like the way you guys spoke earlier.” Eddie argues, hands on his hips as he stares back at his friend group. “I understand the frustration, okay? I forgot our jam session today which was a massive dick move but that was my princess you were talking about.” Eddie has to stop a cringe from the memory earlier. He had promised the boys that he would meet them here, but after school he just wanted to stay with you. But the boys showed up angry because he forgot and they were saying some pretty brutal things, and they were beginning to get loud.
He hadn’t wanted you to hear them, so he rushed them out. And left you in his bed.
“Eddie, you don’t get it-”
“I do get it. Okay, I get it. I haven’t had a girlfriend like this before and I haven’t done a good job multitasking. But that is on me, kay? But you guys said some pretty hurtful things about Y/n and-”
“She didn’t even hear me!”
“But she could have Gavin.” Jeff sighs, rubbing his head. “I’m sorry Eddie, the plan was just to confront you about it. We hadn’t planned to attack like that.”
“You can be mad at me, but never talk about Y/n like that. You hear me?”
“Deal.” Gareth nods.
“Heard.” Jeff smiles.
“Fine. But you don’t see me ditching this group for my girl-”
“SHE’S NOT REAL!”
Uh oh, I'm falling in love
Oh no, I'm falling in love again
Oh, I'm falling in love
I thought the plane was going down
How'd you turn it right around
Pulling away from someone was a lot easier said than done. Especially when all you wanted to do was spend time with him.   But you had made a plan, and this you would stand by.
That night Eddie had called you late, making sure you got home safe and you had told him that your dad was going to start taking you to school.
“What? Why? Princess I can do it, it’s really no proble-”
“I’m going to start going in a little early for the club I joined. So don’t worry about it, Eds.”
“Club? You joined a club?” His tone was laced with excitement and you realized he was probably so excited to get you away from him, so with tears in your eyes and a tight throat you told him you had to rush to bed and hung up.
This began a heavy game of avoidance. You walked to school each morning, reading by yourself in the gym before making it look like you were leaving a club when you saw Eddie in the mornings, but you only left enough time to give him a quick kiss before you were dashing off. You avoided him in between periods and began taking the back exit so he didn’t see you leave school.
You picked up more shifts at the diner, claiming it was the busy season and your dad needed help. No more clingy girlfriend.
Three weeks of this and you were beginning to wear yourself out, your body hot and barely any energy for the day as you trudged to school a little late. You had overslept past your initial alarm, and by the time you managed to get to school there was only 4 minutes before the first period.
You were digging through your locker for a pencil, trying your hardest to keep your eyes open as you did so, when you heard a loud sound rapping to your right.
Looking over to find Eddie with a soft smile, his rings hitting the metal of the lockers beside you.  “Hey princess.”
“Hey Eds,” You mumble back, already trying to think of an escape route. “I should head out, I had class-” “I can walk ya. I actually had something I wanted to ask you.” His smile widens as you finally find a pencil and shut the door to your locker, moving to wrap an arm around you. He pulls you close and you can’t help but press your forehead to his chest, wrapping your own arms around him. He stops for a moment, bringing a hand up to your forehead with a worried expression. “You are burning up.”
“I’m fine.” You smile, getting him to walk again. “What did you want to ask?”
“Oh, right. The band is performing this friday and they wanted to ask you to come. I haven’t really seen you much over the past couple days. And I-” He is cut off by a very large coughing fit on your end, his hands flying around your hips to stabilize you as he watches. “You are burning up, but your clothes are wet. Princess, did you walk here?”
“Oh, yeah. Just this morning though-”
“So you managed to catch a fever within 10 minutes?”
“Eds, I gotta go-” You try to rush out, but he stops you.
“How about a movie night? Just like old times. I’ll get your favorite movie and-”
“I have a sh-”
“I already ran it by your dad.”
“Oh….. well then okay.”
“I’ll meet you after school? By my van?” He asks, his face reading off nervously.
“Sounds great.” You smile, and that nervous energy he has seems to lighten up as he leans in for a kiss, kissing once more on your cheek before he drops you off at class.
-
By the end of the day Eddie is anxiously waiting by his van, sitting in the back with the doors open as his foot taps against the wet pavement below him. He had spent the day after his talk with you thinking of things that you might like. Something that would make you happy tonight.
It had been weeks of not seeing you and he was desperate to see you. What had happened? Why were you avoiding him?
“Hey eds!” Jeff calls, dashing up to the van with Gareth in tow. “What are you doing tonight?”
“I’m actually waiting on Y/n today guys.” He mumbles out, looking past them just so he could keep an eye out for you.
“Oh, what did she say about the concert?” Gareth asks, turning to watch the door for you as well. “Seems like I haven’t seen her in a moment.”
“That makes two of us, and she didn’t really answer about the concert.”
“What’s wrong?” Jeff asks, noting the tone.
“She’s going to dump me. I just know it.” Eddie blurts, hands flying through his hair. “I just don’t know why.”
“But Y/n loves you man-”
“What are you guys doing out here? It’s so cold.” Gavin snaps out, emerging in the group with a glare. “Let’s hop in Eddie’s van.”
“Can’t. He’s waiting on Y/n-”
“Ugh. Again?”
Before Eddie could tell him to fuck off he spots you exit the building, his heart jumping through his chest as he smiles and waves his arm so you can spot him. You do, making a couple steps to him before you see his friends all turn and spot you as well, which makes you stop and look around.
It hits Eddie then, what is going on. Especially when you turn to walk the other way. Before his friends can say anything Eddie lunges, dashing across the parking lot and reaching you in an instant.
“Hey princess.”
“Oh, hey Eds.” You cough out, trying a smile out that makes his heart lurch. “Didn’t see you.”
Yes you did. But he doesn’t call you on it.
“Well my van is over here, so let’s-”
“I don’t think-”
“The boys were just heading off. It will just be us tonight. Swear it.” He smiles, putting up a scouts honor sign and holding out his hand. You take it after a moment and he wastes no time dragging you to the car, helping you in and buckling you up.
You giggle when he buckles you, an actual giggle that makes his heartbeat speed up and he leans to kiss you before dashing to the driver seat and heading to his trailer. He offers to stop for slurpees only to look over and realize you had actually fallen asleep curled up against the heater. So he skips the slurpees and pulls into the trailer park, heading to the one Wayne made their home.
Back when Eddie first started hanging out with you he never wanted to admit where he lived, he was embarrassed about this perfect girl seeing the mess he lived in and dashing off. You were the prettiest girl he had ever seen, he was desperate for any of your time.
And you chose him.
That was something he could never understand. You met him, the school freak and the trailer trash, and still decided he was worthy of your time.
But that was beginning to change and he was fucking terrified of it.
But he didn’t have time to think on that when he pulled in, because the second he turned the van off you seemed to stir from your sleep, blinking slowly up at him as he moved to rub your cheek. “Come on, we are here.”
You hold his hand as he rushes inside, dropping both your bags by the door and helping you kick off your shoes before herding you to his room and helping you undress. He picks up one of the band tees and slips it over your head, kissing you softly.
“You are absolutely burning up.”
“I don’t feel good, Eds.” You mumble out.
“Okay, how about we lay down and nap for a bit. We can watch movies later, yeah?”
You merely nod, crawling across his bed as he shuffles into his boxers and follows your movement until you are both under the covers and he can pull you into his chest. “I’m sorry.”
“For what, Princess?”
“Being so…..” You doze off after that, and he finds himself fighting the urge to wake you up and find out.
Instead he tightens his hold on you, and closes his eyes himself.
Uh oh, I'm falling in love
Oh no, I'm falling in love again
Oh, I'm falling in love
I thought the plane was going down
How'd you turn it right around
You awake around 1 am by the sight of Eddie’s alarm clock, gasping in pain as you try to catch your breath. You reach out to his side, only to find it empty, tears sliding down your face.
Your head hurt and your body hurt, you were burning up and your throat was so sore you could sob.
Eddie must have heard you, coming in slowly with messy hair and sleepy eyes, holding out some medicine and a cup. “Easy now princess. I was just grabbing you medicine.”
“I don’t need it.” You manage to croak out, eyes spilling over with water.
“Yes, you do.” He places the little medicine cup to your lips and that’s when you realize he had actually poured the medicine in a shot glass. A smile cracks your face as you choke it down, Eddie switching it out with the cup, the bubbles of sprite burning your throat. “That’s my girl.”
“I don’t feel good.” You croak, and he nods.
“How long have you been walking to school then?”
“I haven-”
“You have. And you got sick from walking in the rain.” He sighs, making you drink some more of the sprite before setting them both down and moving to make you lay down beside him. “I grabbed some of the extra winter blankets, we’re gonna have to sweat this out. Okay?”
“Are you going to break up with me?” You cry, curling into his chest as he fixes the blankets around you both.
“What? No. Why on earth would I-”
“Because I am clingy.”
“You’re not clingy, who said you were clingy?” He leans back to glare down at you, accidentally hitting his head on his own nightstand. “Ow, Jesus christ.”
“I’m sorry.”
“Stop apologizing. When did I say you were clingy?”
“That day I was here-”
“A little more specific.”
“We… you…. The day we were in here and your friends came over.”  His face crumples in recognition, closing his eyes.
“You heard Gavin.”
“I heard Gavin! And you guys were all probably talking about me–” He leans down to kiss you then, pressing his own lips against yours softly. When he pulls back he rubs his nose against yours, up your face and to your forehead where he leaves a soft kiss.
“I can promise you that I do not think you clingy. And the only reason I didn’t argue back was because I didn’t want them getting louder so you could hear them. I didn’t want you to hear that. I. Swear. It.”
“Your friends don’t like me.” You whisper.
“Only one friend doesn’t like you. Gareth and Jeff invited you out to the concert.”
“But Gavin-”
“Can call his girlfriend in Canada to cheer him up. I don’t give a shit.” You laugh at that, pressing your nose to his cheek.
“Can we watch a movie, Eds?”
“I actually got pretty in pink for you.” He whispers, and you can’t help but kiss him.
Uh oh, I'm falling in love
Oh no, I'm falling in love again
Oh, I'm falling in love
I thought the plane was going down
How'd you turn it right around
You were too busy running around the diner, taking and delivering orders, to see Eddie and his friends sneak in. But when you turn to see who had taken up the table you are met with his smile, watching him snag a menu from Gareth.
“What brings you boys in tonight?” You laugh moving to sit by him as Jeff fixes his jacket.
“We came to hang out with you after the gig, you should have seen it Y/n. It was absolutely wild and Eddie nearly fell off the stage.”
“Is that so?”
“There was a drunk guy in the back talking to someone imaginary and we told Gavin it was him and then get this- Gavin freaked out-” Gareth launches into a story on their fight with Gavin, you look over to Eddie who isn’t even bothering to listen as his finger traces your cheek bone.
“You make this outfit?”
“I did, thought it matched the diner apron a little better.” You blush, showing him the spot on the sleeve where you had messed up only for him to lean in quickly and kiss you.
“Y/n!” Your dad calls from the window. “Back to work!”
You roll your eyes, moving to stand up before Jeff calls you and you turn. He opens his leather jacket while Gareth widens his flannel, both to reveal the hellfire shirts you made them.
“We stay repping our designer.” Jeff brags. “But we need three more.”
“For who?”
“These freshmen that Eddie recruited.”
“OH! Dustin and his two friends right?”
“Dustin, Lucas and little Byers……but……” Eddie smiles.
“You should make one for yourself.” Gareth finishes.
“Because you have officially been recruited, Y/n.”
You laugh, watching the three before Jeff slams a sheet on the table and you lean forward to read it. “The lost princess of hellfire?”
“Eddie wrote the campaign for you, and we helped create the character.”
You pick up the paper, flipping through them to reveal the sketches Eddie had drawn, a cartoon version of you in a fantasy version of the pretty in pink prom dress.
“That’s…..”
“Can’t take it easy on you though, princess. Even if I love ya.”
“I love you too.” You smile, leaning down to kiss him back.

ENG TRANSLATION:
The phenomenon Joker Out… In Americana Hall* it was like there was no tomorrow
*in Dom Omladine
For those unaware, if they still exist, Joker Out is a pop-rock band from Ljubljana which gained fame after participating in this year’s Eurovision. Even though they only won 21st place, their career blossomed after the competition and so they became one of the most successful (if not the most successful) acts that participated this year.
They sold out tickets for nearly every concert with incredible speed, with a special emphasis on the former Yugoslavian countries. But, why is that?
First of all, this charming five are a boy band. A real, classic, boy band. We haven’t had such a phenomenon in our area for a long time, the younger generation have almost no experience with something like this. They came onto the scene at the right moment and gave the audience what they needed. And Eurovision came into their career at the perfect time to give them a flying start and to launch them from a quality, alternative Slovenian band straight to the stars.
The older generation loves them for their undeniable quality. When something that stands out from the crowd emerges, in which you can see years of work and which, as the career goes on, records only progress, the older generations stop being so elitist and know how to recognize it.
They partially love them because of nostalgia. With their attitudes and style, they are adorably reminiscent of some bands of the 80s and very easily bring back memories and briefly bring experiences that the generations growing up back then remember with melancholy.
Young people love them… well, is an explanation really necessary? Their concerts are like a party, two hours of euphoria and a total occupation of all the senses. It’s not hard to win over a young audience if you are like them: five charismatic guys who radiate with their existence.
For months, competing for a second of their attention, girls have been screaming over each other in the audience. They know the lyrics by heart, without knowing a word of Slovenian.
Tears of joy are already pouring with the opening lyrics of the first song. Having conquered Novi Sad, these guys arrived in Belgrade on the 2nd of November. The countdown is finally over.
Labyrinth-like lines in front of Dom Omladine hinted at a fight for a place in the first row, and even a few rows back. When the doors finally opened, the fastest secured their desired place, others were defeated and some gave up at the start and chose a place further back, for a more intimate experience.
Colourful outfits, shiny, neon makeup, sequins, pearls, latex, lace and who knows what other details and accessories found themselves in the same place, in the same crowd. So divided, yet perfectly harmonious, it’s clear these people belong where they are. When the members of the band joined their colourful scene on stage, the spectrum was complete.
Entering the stage, right on time, tensely prolonged but so spectacular, they set a standard that won’t be beaten for a long time. Joker Out opened their first concert in Belgrade with the song “Sunny Side of London”.
They introduced themselves as “five Slovenians who are here to sing for you”, but they are, really, much more than that. Bojan’s interactions with the audience, his smiles, looks and irresistible personality caused general hysteria from the very beginning.
With his wit, he held the audience’s attention without stopping and immediately gained their full trust. Although he’s the most mobile, with the role of frontman, he’s far from being the center of attention. It seems this is a band where everything is divided into five equal parts. The audience goes absolutely crazy for each of them.
“Bojan, I am not a baby seal, but can you please adopt me?”, is just one of the endearing banners that could be seen in the audience. Letters, bouquets, and bras flew towards them, almost non-stop.
Delighted that everyone present knew the lyrics and therefore addressed him in fluent Slovenian, Bojan spoke to us in fluent Serbian.
Although the audience was often louder than the speakers, the loudest scream was let out with our “Demons”, while “Katrina” was dedicated to a randomly selected girl in the audience.
There was such a strong collective energy that it would draw in even someone who has never heard even one of their songs. At the advice of the band, everyone hugged someone who needed it right at that moment.
To summarise, why did this phenomenon take over? When you have someone who gives their all to the audience, when they enjoy what they’re doing, everything makes sense. The five of them absolutely deserve every second of their success, there’s no doubt. Today there’s rarely a band that immensely values their fans, on whose stage there’s respect between the members. What they have is earned through sacrifice, work and talent. They’re aware of it and so are their fans.
These tireless, energetic guys gave their insatiable audience an unforgettable encore of five songs. As they themselves say, we danced and loved each other all night (loved them, ourselves, each other, or mutually, whichever happened to whom) and all that - as if there were no tomorrow.
After tonight flower petals, confetti, sequins, lots of sighs and someone’s vocal chords will be cleaned up from the Americana Hall in Dom Omladine, but the spirit of some seemingly normal Slovenian guys will remain within for a long time.

Order #1 : Caramel Milk Boba, and Iced Coffee with Cupcakes
Note : Wooo! First order of the day- well more like night but oh well!
Tumblr media
Scholar!Albedo
How he protects you
Scholar!Albedo is not one to get into conflicts, often taking long paths to class just to avoid any fights and to continue on with his studies.
As a straight A student and one of the most popular student in school, a lot of admirers and fans of him quickly notice how you are getting "special treatment".
Albedo giving you waves in the hallway, saying hello whenever you walk up to him, blatantly ignoring the girl talking to him, or sitting down next to you during lunch, not so much as glancing at the jocks asking to hangout with him.
So, a few of jealous admirers decided enough was enough, and had created a devious little plan to get you out of the picture and away from Albedo.
Walking down the empty and echoey halls of the university, even after being here for a year it's still kinda hard to navigate, it was like a labyrinth in it's own right. Class has ended a long time ago, but where was your dorm again? Was it a left turn or a right turn? Wait- did you walk pass the hall to the dorms?
Sighing, you headed to the chemistry room. Why? Because Albedo always stays after class to continue to conduct experiments in the Chem. room, and whenever you get lost in the maze of the halls, Albedo always offers to lead you back to the dorms.
Soon enough you found the hallway to the science rooms but just as you took a turn-
*SLAM*
You were slammed against the wall, looking up you saw a group of 3 girls. All of them looking pretty pissed and furious, the one who slammed you against the wall spoke up.
"Well well well, guess who decided to show up? The little stray wondering around the school, listen here you little shit. You better stay away from Albedo got it? We both know he's better than you, and he shouldn't hangout with a fleabag like you."
The girl sneered down at you, her nails digging into your arm, making you wince a little, the other girls snickered at the sight. The other two girls walked up to you, "We're going to give you a lesson you'll never forget, so your little pea brain doesn't forget our little warning." Two of the girls held you in place while the leader readied herself to punch you. The girl lifted her fist swinging it down-
"What's going on here?"
The girl's fist stopped a inch away from hitting you, looking to the the right was Albedo staring at the scene in front of him. The girls quickly pushed you away, putting their hands behind their back, acting like nothing has happened.
"Albedo! Uh- nothing going on here. Just some friendly banner!" The girl gives you a look, 'Agree or else you'll regret it'. Averting you eyes you shuffle a little, fidgeting with your clothing, looking down at the ground.
"Y-yup! Just some friendly banner is all..."
Albedo looked at you, there was no emotion in his expression, just a pokerfaced student. After a few seconds of silence Albedo started walking over, "I see...well then, I hope you can explain to me why you have this?" Albedo quickly pulled out a small can of pepper spray out of the girl's purse, looking at her with a death stare. The girl gasped, trying to get back from Albedo.
"T-that's just for self defense-"
"-But as per stated by the rules of the university, pepper spray is not allowed regardless of it's purpose. The university has no track record of any violence nor assault in it's hundreds of years of teaching. Well, until now, hitting another student? You know, I believe in an eye for an eye, I will be more than willing to do the same thing you were going to do my friend here. Go on, hit them, I dare you."
Albedo darkly stared at the girl in the eyes, being dead serious, the girl backed off, as well as the other girls.
"I-I'm telling the headmaster about this!"
The girls then ran off, leaving you and Albedo alone in the hall way, Albedo looked over at you.
"Are you alright? They didn't harm you did they?"
"I'm fine...but..aren't you worried they're going to get you in trouble?" You commented, looking at Albedo in concern.
Albedo chuckled, a small smile appearing on his face, "No, I'm not worried in the slightest. After all, why would the university's Golden Star threaten someone? That just doesn't make any logical sense."
How his crush developed on you
Scholar!Albedo is heavily focused on his studies and schoolwork, rejecting every admirer who confesses to him with no more then a sigh.
After all, what's the point of having a partner in school when school work takes the majority of the time? At least that's what he thinks.
Since freshman year in college he's been working on majoring his Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and minoring his Visual Arts, it's been 2 years now, and now he's a Junior, he's done countless of rejections...
...But why does he get nervous around you? Why can he barely speak to you clearly when he can speak in front of the entire class with no problem? Why does he get all fuzzy and warm inside just from you laughing? It appears Albedo must conduct some experiments to get to the bottom of this...
After long day of classwork, experiments, presentations and essays, Albedo was just ready to take a small break for once. Normally he's not one to take breaks, but maybe today he could take one, just a small break.
Entering the library, Albedo and the librarian, Lisa, giving each other a nod of acknowledgement before continuing back to their own devices. Albedo sat down at a quiet table in the corner, opening his sketchbook and grabbing his pencil, he began to quietly sketch. No more than a minute later a boy walks up to him, his face flushed and his body language being nervous. Albedo mentally sighed, it was going to be one of those days huh?
"U-uhm...A-Albedo? Can I ask you something?"
Albedo stopped his sketching, looking over to the boy, "Yes, what is it?" The boy took a second to take a breath, presumingly to calm himself down Albedo guessed.
"I-I...I like you a lot! A-and I was wondering if w-we could da-"
"-Apologies, but I don't feel the same way. I hope you understand, but I'm putting my studies first."
"O-oh...that's alright..I just needed to get this off my chest..." The boy quickly walked away, Albedo could just sense the heartbroken and gloomy aura around the boy as he walked. Albedo just continued on with his sketching, when suddenly a pair of hands covered his eyes from behind him.
"Guess who!~"
There it was, that voice of his friend, "[Name], you are the only person who are friends with me that does this...."
"Aw! But it's fun doing it this way!" Albedo's eyes were uncovered, allowing him to see the culprit. You. One of his closet friends in the university. Energetic compared to his introverted and reserved self. You plopped right next to Albedo, "Sooo, are you finally taking a break? It's about time!"
"Yes I am...what are you doing here? Normally you would be hanging out with that musician Venti." Albedo raised an eyebrow, looking over at you.
"Wellll, I wanted to see you! It's been awhile since we've hung out with each other! I missed you!" You gave a bright smile at him, it wasn't any different then any other smile you gave him. But this one...this one struck a cord in Albedo, his heart begun to speed up. His hands becoming clammy and the feeling of butterflies bubbling up inside him. Albedo was lost in his thoughts—Why was he feeling this way? Why does he feel all warm and fuzzy inside? What was happening to him? Was he sick? No that can't be-
"-bedo? Albedooo?"
Albedo snapped out of his thoughts and looked back at to you, coughing to clear his throat as well as his mind.
"Uhm- yes? A..apologies, I...spaced out for a moment..."
"Uh, anyway, I have to get going! See you next time! Bye!" Then you left, leaving Albedo behind in the library not before Lisa pulled you over and gave you a scold warning about being loud in the library. In the meanwhile, Albedo was mumbling to himself, his gaze focused on you, as you sheepishly smiled at Lisa, "I need to test out new experiment regarding this...feeling..."

Idol!Venti
Hidden Talents
Idol!Venti always had a nack for trying new things, playing a new instrument or trying a new hobby, he's open to pretty much about everything.
Being part of 6reeze, Venti loves trying to get into new hobbies that his other Idol members were into. Trying out cooking with Aether, playing video games with Xiao and Scara (even though Scara can be a sore loser), watching mystery movies with Heizou, and writing poetry with Kazuha.
But other times he likes to scroll through the internet for find things that catches his eye, after all, watching singers was what got him into singing in the first place.
After scrolling and scrolling through Pinteresting, Venti ended up looking at a video that hit him with a wave of inspiration, he quickly got up and bolted to the main entrance, he's sure he saw some craft store near by the apartment.
You were walking around the apartment, looking for a certain 6reeze member, as their manager it was your job to makes sure they didn't do anything reckless. Speaking of which, apparently from the bank a purchase of a bunch of craft materials was made and it was extremely costly, all high product materials. It wasn't hard to ask around the other band members if they made such a purchase.
Walking to Venti's room, you knocked on the door but heard no response, opening it you saw the room with no Venti in it. Looking around you noticed he left is laptop open, sighing you closed the laptop. Walking back out of Venti's room, grabbing your phone and texting Venti.
'Venti, where are you!? Did you make a purchase recently?'
'Oops! Yeah I did, I'm on my way back from the store now actually! Brb.'
Sighing you walked to the main entrance, waiting for Venti to appear, just as you went to unlock to door Venti opened it, holding 3 bags of something from the local crafts store. Giggling a little Venti gave you a smile stating, "Before you get all mad at me spending this money...can I do something first?" After thinking a while you nodded and Venti giddily hopped his way back to his room, closing the door. After a few hours Venti comes out of it, holding something behind his back with a smile.
"Soooo, I knew you were going to be upset with me spending a lot of money- but I made you this!" Venti pulled the thing from behind his back presenting it to you. It was a little crocheted plush of your favorite animal! Taking it, you held it, it was perfectly made, incredible for a beginner!
"Woah...you made this? Have you crochet before?" You asked, looking over at Venti.
"Ehe~ Nope! This is my first time! Hehe~ I guess those sewing lessons with Kazuha kinda helped!"
Tumblr media
Idol!Kazuha
How he protects you
Idol!Kazuha is crushed on by many, MANY, fans of his, something about a quiet, well mannered guy draws people to him, who would've known?
The rest of the 6reeze members often have to deal with their own fans and work. Some handle it better than others, some..worse (*Cough* Xiao-Scara *Cough cough*) but then again, this was in the job description, being an Idol means having a lot of fans.
And having a lot of fans will get you some....more unsavory ones...which will try to cause harm to others.
But being an Idol, Kazuha couldn't just threaten them, that would but a negative reputation on the group, Kazuha would just have to try another method to protect you...
Today was a peaceful day, the wind was a gentle breeze and it was a perfect temperature to go outside. Deciding to go outside today, 6reeze put on their masks and headed out. You however, was dragged along with them, Venti had to beg you to come along. Saying, "this was the only chance for all of us to hangout with each other!"
Walking down the sidewalk to the nearest Cafe, a handful of undercover bodyguards followed closely. Even though the 6reeze members were wearing masks to hide their identity, one can never be to careful can they?
"Ooh! Ooh can I get one of those little bunny cake pops?! Oh! And a sweet tea!"
"Black coffee, no sugar got it?"
"Hm...I'd like a vanilla latte, hot please. Xi- I mean....Shade, what would you like?"
"Nothing. I'm good"
"I'd like a iced coffee."
"I would like a hot caramel latte"
Watching as the 6reeze members choosing their coffee you mentally sighed at the poor barista having to take their orders. Once the order was finished, you took out your card to pay, the barista gave you a sympathetic look before taking your card. Once everything was paid for and you were given your card back, you and the 6reeze members (and the bodyguards) went to the park. Some of the members just sitting down on a bench, while some others were admiring the landscape.
Unfortunately, you're gonna need to take off a mask to drink something so it was inevitable that people will recognize them. For just being in the park for 30min in a isolated area, a crowd has already formed. As the manager you and the bodyguards blocked other people from getting too close from the 6reeze members.
"Apologies but the 6reeze members are not meeting with any fans currently-"
Just as you were going to finish your sentence a fan grabbed your wrist and pulled you down to get you out of the way, causing you to collapse to the floor. Kazuha seeing this, quickly helped you up, checking for any injuries with a concern look.
"Are you alright?"
"I'm fine, come on, I'll call the limo to pick us up"
What was suppose to be a relaxing hangout day turned into chaotic in a blink of an eye. The 6reeze members entered the limo with you as well, somehow being able to avoid the paparazzi that was scouting the area.
Later that day, the 6reeze members made a post.
Kazuha(@6reeze)
'To those who forcibly push, shove, or pull others to see 6reeze. We do not condone this kind of behavior and will be avoiding those do such things. We want to provide a friendly environment in our community, and this kind of behavior will not be welcomed'
How his crush developed on you
Idol!Kazuha had wondered how a relationship with a celebrity would work in his early days. Would they have to keep it a secret?
But once Kazuha had gotten a hang of the idol life, Kazuha realized that having a relationship with someone would be a complicated process. Having fans knowing about their idol having a relationship with someone would make them upset if they didn't like the 'ship'.
But when ever he's with you, he can't help but smile, it was like his whole world lit up whenever you're around, and the other band members picked up on it. Venti giving Kazuha a teasing smile and raising his eyebrows whenever you weren't looking, Kazuha just faintly blushed in embarrassment before the blush disappears just in time when your turn around.
At was at first a manager-celebrity relationship, which turned to a friend-friend relationship, was it now a crush-friend relationship now?
Never did Kazuha thought that he would become an idol, but after creating the 6reeze band together in high school, they made it in the idol world after an Idol company scouted them. Of course being idol has some downsides, not having a regular life, being hounded by paparazzi in public, having to constantly practice dancing and singing.
But, even with all of these cons, the only pro that Kazuha was more than willing to have, is you. You just made his world, being the person that motivates him to push himself to his limits. You were just so sweet, when you guys first met Kazuha thought you were going to be one of those strict managers, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Afterall, you guys were friends, and friends motivate each other to do their best!
"Sooo, Kazuha. What are you thinking about hm?"
Kazuha looked up to see his band leader, Venti, leaning down with his hands behind his back behind the couch Kazuha was sitting on.
"Just thinking about our manager, why? Do you need something?"
"Nope, just curious~", Venti walked around the couch and sat down next to Kazuha.
"You know...I've noticed you've been spacing out a lot more than usual. Is there something bothering you?" Venti asked, looked over at Kazuha, Kazuha shook his head.
"No, I'm fine. It's just that..I've noticed that I've thinking about [Name] recently-"
"-Oh!~ Does someone have a crush on our manager?~"
Kazuha's cheeks flushed red at Venti's teasing, averting his eyes, "N-no! It's not like that, we're just friends..."
Venti looked shocked for a moment, he wasn't actually expecting a reaction like that from Kazuha, he thought Kazuha would just chuckle and wave it off.
"Hm...Kazuha, just how long have you been thinking about them? What do you feel when they're around?"
"Well, I'm not sure how long I've been thinking about them but...maybe a few weeks? And when I'm around them, I feel more motivated than usual, and that I want to try my hardest." Kazuha softly smiled at the thought of you cheering them on during rehearsals.
Venti just sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose before turning back and flicking Kazuha on the forehead. "You know...despite having the best senses out of us I'm surprised you still haven't figured it out."
"Figure out what?"
Venti sighed loudly at this, gesturing over to you who was busy working on your laptop with headphones on.
"Look at them and tell me you don't have a crush on them!"
Kazuha looked over at you, his eyes softening and a small smile appearing on his face. You looked up from your laptop, waving over at Venti and Kazuha with a smile before working again. Kazuha could feel his cheeks heating up a little as you smiled.
"....I beileve you're right Venti...I do have a crush on them..."

【 𝐀𝐂𝐓 𝐎𝐍𝐄, 𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒. 】
Under love's heavy burden do I sink

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐃 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐒, a life-affirming deluge that graciously quenched the parched thirst of the animals, trees, and plants below. Nature, in its silent plea, received the benevolent nectar that danced upon leaves and petals, renewing the world with a symphony of droplets.
Leaves pirouetted gracefully in the wind, entwining with raindrops that descended like liquid poetry. Amidst this watery ballet, carefree children reveled in playful abandon, their parents elusive in the rain-kissed atmosphere. Beneath the shelter of foliage, tiny creatures sought refuge, nestled in their secret sanctuaries as the once azure heavens bestowed an incessant downpour.
For some, rain became a soothing lullaby, offering tranquility and solace sporadically; however, to others, it proved an irksome intrusion. To the innocent hearts of children, it represented a hurdle, an unavoidable challenge each time they yearned to frolic with their companions. To a particular student, the sentiment towards rain remained neutral. For rain, to him, embodied a dual nature – a poignant ally that discreetly concealed tears within its descending droplets, yet also a vexing adversary when its incessant collision with rooftops disrupted the tranquility of a night's rest, the clamor unbearable to those yearning for peaceful slumber.
during their vacant hours, students would hang out within the library, its silent walls serving as both sanctuary and gateway to knowledge. Some were attempting to immerse themselves in the labyrinth of literature, while others, entangled in the threads of gossiping coulnd't even be avoided.
“did you hear?”  one voice inquired.
“Hear What?”
“About the new girl.”
Vacant hours unfolded in the library with an air of expectancy. Amidst the hallowed shelves, where one would anticipate a harmonious symphony of focused minds immersed in literary realms, a disconcerting discord emerged. Instead of students engrossed in the art of reading and literature, an unsettling scene materialized—a wasteful expenditure of words, as some indulged in futile conversations, their oral expressions devoid of substance.
He often catches wind of gossip that primarily revolves around past events, indicating a lingering difficulty among students to move on.
But this time,
It was different.
“What about her?”
“She's a foreigner.”
His ocean-blue orbs darted towards the two women, casually gossiping about the new student who had transferred here. He hadn't heard much, but Suguru did confirm that she hailed from another country. It was exceedingly rare for native students to transfer to this high school, as he rarely engaged with foreigners. Yet alone be-friend one.
“Really?”
“Yeah, and not only that, she got into a fight with one of the students despite it being her first day here.”
His eyes fluttered with serene interest, a sudden spark igniting within him. The prospect of the new student engaging in a fight? Now, that's something worth witnessing.
Typically, newcomers are expected to be reserved, grappling with the challenges of befriending others, depending on various factors. However, he couldn't recall a single instance of a student here on campus engaging in a fight on their very first day. From his perspective, the new student exhibited a boldness that elevated her story to a level of captivating intrigue.
“You're kidding!” the voice of intrigue could be heared, shouting softly as even the girl was shocked at the sudden audacity.
Not even a certain student could ever believe such words.
“I'm not, she actually got into a fight. I was one of the students who witnessed it.”
“Did she get in trouble?”
“Not quite, she just threw random harsh words at the student, plus it was outside campus after all.”
Now that's an audacity he loves in a woman.
At this hour, he would have been engaged in a spirited game of basketball with Suguru, yet, given Suguru's inexplicable absence, he found himself confined to the quiet solitude of the library. Boredom permeated his senses, exacerbated by the solitary company of a lone tome authored by none other than the illustrious William Shakespeare, which lay open on his table.
It was a story about Romeo and Juliet, something that he isn't really a fan of.
If Suguru was here, he would've pulled the "if you dislike it, why choose it?” card.
Despite his discerning taste, he found the story somewhat dull. Not an avid reader, particularly disinterested in cheesy romantic tales, he had encountered the legendary narrative of Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet." Yet, he remained perplexed, unable to fathom the widespread allure surrounding it. To him, it was merely a tragic love story between two individuals – a sentiment he struggled to comprehend, questioning the essence that captivates others.
But his mind still wandered to the new student who even had the balls to get into a fight without getting any trouble at all.
What was her name?
Is she hot as fuck?
Satoru casually shrugged, fixing his snowy white hair, his gaze fixed on the window. Lost in contemplation, he watched the rain cascade endlessly from the heavens. The book he was meant to be reading lay open, Satoru rested his palm on his chin, his gaze fixed endlessly upon the sky.
Within seconds, Satoru directed his gaze towards the open book, his brows knitted together as he emitted a groan. God, the book was genuinely boring as hell, but who could blame him? There were no good books in sight, and the much-acclaimed Romeo and Juliet felt like a far-fetched notion as he struggled to finish even a single chapter.
Especially in the absence of Suguru, who seemed to be playing hide-and-seek around campus, probably hanging out  with Shoko or someone. Satoru would love to call him (once again), but his best friend wasn't even bothering to pick up, leaving Satoru seated in frustration, glaring down at the book as if it held a personal grudge against him.
“Excuse me,”
A sweet, melodic voice snapped the boy out of his trance. He adjusted his glasses, tilting them slightly to get a better look at the young girl standing before him—damn, she's quite attractive.
“May I perhaps sit next to you,?”
Satoru was so immersed in his trance that he couldn't muster a reply to the words of the young girl holding a stack of books before him. Her sweet, innocent eyes gazed down at him with the utmost sincerity. Was this the new student? He hadn't seen her yet, so there was a possibility she might be the one involved in the recent altercation.
Enthralled by the captivating [e/c] orbs, Satoru gazed at the woman with an amused expression. Her [h/c] hair cascaded softly, reminiscent of ocean waves, gently framing her angelic features. Possessing [S/c] skin, round eyes, and a perfect nose, she radiated a beauty that seemed almost ethereal, especially under the focused glow of the library's light.
Indeed, it was the new student.
Their assertion about her being a foreigner was accurate, for she lacked the typical appearance of a Japanese woman.
She cleared her throat snapping him back to reality.
“Uh, sorry.. I was distracted—what were you trying to say again?” he questioned as he rubbed the back of his neck making the [h/c] girl smile,
“I was wondering if I could sit next to you? Sorry, some students..aren't really that fond of me, yet.”
Satoru bit his lip, suppressing a sigh he hadn't realized he was holding, and nodded, determined to maintain his composure.
"Sure, I guess..."
With a gentle smile gracing her lips, and seeing how satoru gave access for her to sit, she accepted his way of invitation to sit beside him.As Satoru closed the book with a soft groan of annoyance, she turned around, her gaze initially marked by confusion before shifting towards the offending book.
"you know Shakespeare?" Her inquiry left him with brows knitted together, gazing at her in contemplation.
“Yeah.” he muttered, as she smiled while looking at the book,
“I see you're reading one of his creations.”
His gaze descended upon the book titled "Romeo and Juliet," and he rolled his eyes at the literary piece, consumed by pure annoyance.
“I'm not, it's boring, as fuck..” he muttered.
She giggled softly at his remarks.
“Can't blame you, since we all have different tastes in books.” she replied, “But their love story seems tragic, isn't it?”
“I've heard it is.” he sighed, twisting a strand of his hair,
"Can't relate, though," he joked, eliciting a light chuckle from her as she found his playful antics amusing.
“Why, have you experienced falling in love yet that you're saying that?” she started playing around with him as he smirked.
“No, but I can assure you, girls are head over heels for me.”
The girl let out a loud laugh, as she immediately covered her mouth the moment many of the students started looking at her.
Satoru had an eyebrow raised, “What's so funny?”
She just shook her head as she covered her mouth.
“Nothing, just found your statement rather, shocking..” she muttered as Satoru had his eyes wide, this time, it was his turn to be shocked at a statement.
Satoru responded with a dismissive huff.
"I'm telling you, I can charm girls," he asserted.
She giggled once more, teasing him with a playful gaze.
"Sure, sure," she replied.
"We barely know each other, and you're already getting on my nerves," he joked. Of course, he meant it in good humor. This girl was surprisingly enjoyable company, though he wouldn't admit it anytime soon.
She chuckled, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Oh, I'm just getting started. You haven't seen annoying yet."
He raised an eyebrow, feigning annoyance. "Should I be worried or intrigued?"
She grinned, leaning in closer. "Definitely intrigued. You can thank me later for keeping life interesting."
He couldn't help but smile. "I'll reserve my gratitude until then, but I have a feeling you might just surprise me."
She was about to respond when the bell chimed, signaling the start of another day of classes. Swiftly, she gathered her books and bags, offering a wave to the boy who simply nodded in acknowledgment.
The playful banter had left him in shock, realizing he hadn't even asked for her name yet. Just as the realization struck, he was about to open his mouth to speak when he caught sight of her ID. The letters of her name were boldly displayed, granting him clear access to discover her identity.
And her name was something he made sure to write down in his mind.
[Name] [Last Name].
𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐔𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐃 𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍 from the heavens above, a relentless shower that painted the world in shimmering liquid curtains. Satoru Gojo, caught unprepared once again, found himself amidst the downpour, regretting the absence of an umbrella for what felt like the 12,828th time in his life.
As the raindrops danced around him, Satoru's sharp, blue, ocean, eyes scanned the surroundings for any semblance of shelter. The streets, usually vibrant and bustling, transformed into a hazy watercolor painting, each droplet adding to the blurry spectacle. His snowy white hair, usually meticulously styled, now clung to his forehead, the rain highlighting the contrast between wet strands and the stray locks that defied containment.
A fleeting thought crossed his mind — the simplicity of an umbrella, a mundane accessory that had the power to shield him from the tempest above. Yet, in his impulsive nature, he had neglected it once more. The rhythmic tapping of raindrops on his clothes became a relentless reminder of his oversight.
He fucking hates this.
He should've had brought an umbrella.
Where the fuck is Suguru when he fucking needs him?
The frustration surged within him as he realized the extent of his predicament. His uniform clung to him, drenched by the unyielding rain, and his glasses bore droplets, distorting his vision. A subtle groan resonated within as he navigated through the discomfort.
But just as he was about to do anything else, the rain stopped pouring on his head as he felt confused.
“Huh?” he mumbled as he heard a small giggle.
Turning to his right, was an [h/c] haired girl sharing an umbrella with him, it was, the girl he had met in the library!
It was, [Name] [Last Name].
His ocean blue orbs made contact with her [e/c] once as he felt confusion rise up, until, she opened her mouth to speak,
“You said you can pull girls, but you can't even pull out an umbrella.”
OCEAN OF YEARNING SECRETS !
Nobara and yuuji got really curious with [Name] that they ended up bugging Satoru to tell them more about her.
Megumi was starting to doze off.
It always became a habit for gojo to not bring an umbrella everytime it's raining, and his reason is he "forgets about it" when in reality he's waiting for history to repeat itself.
Suguru forgot to share his umbrella with Gojo
Hope y'all love the first chapter of ocean of yearning!! o(〃^▽^〃)o

Incredibly funny to me that Master Detective Archives: Rain Code has several boob and ass jokes because anime game and all that, and while they're happy to emphasize boobs (at least, the Shinigami companion's), they go absolutely out of their way to never show ass, even fully clothed ones. In nearly every scene where you have camera control, girls are either wearing modest skirts, long raincoats, or, if they're wearing pants indoors, they're sitting down. Even the one or two characters who have incredibly short skirts don't have modeled asses, it's just a big shadow down there. There's a sequence in the mystery labyrinth where your Shinigami companion is wearing a bikini and you never once see her from behind. Considering that some of the characters in question are teenagers, I'm not complaining about the lack of sexualization, but like. It's a weirdly specific way in which they refuse to sexualize.
But thinking about it, it's not limited to the women. The main character wears a cape at all times. Your boss has a long suit jacket, as do many of the other guys you meet. The guy who seems to be the game's main villain? Also wears a cape.
What are they hiding back there?
