i'm about to make the lamest post possible: i rlly don't like comments like "feed that boy" or whatever other references to food when someone draws a character as fat. are you not capable of looking at a fat person without immediately connecting them to food.
i never, ever see comments about people's eating or food when thin characters are drawn unless that character is extremely thin, and even then it's usually with sympathy. i don't know man - i can't tell if y'all are fetishists or just fucked in how you think about fat people, and i'm really not sure which is worse.

Someday, I will have the kind of fandom where people start reading my books because they see three different pieces of fanart on their dash in the same week.

You'll never ever guess who this guy was initially (it's my 2000s spamt concept but i turned it into an oc) so far he's based on and called Mandarin Orange. Not sure what bug he is but probably mosquito (no one ever saw this one coming)
So he's essentially like, Al from toy story 2. He's the type of guy to collect toys (2000s ones exclusively) and keep them in their packaging. However he always get 2 of each pet shop animals, because he wants one for his house and one for his car (glued on the center console, he can't drive without all his many lps bobbing their little heads). You can easily get him to passionately talk about 2000s movies he loves like Treasure Planet. Needless to say he's a big fan of the 2000s. But he has a problem: the 2000s don't really exist in his world, so people think he's a futuristic weirdo. It doesn't help that the dating sim world he lives in consistently objectifies him. Mandarin himself doesn't do anything outside of being passionate about his main interest; but the narrative seems to do what it wants with him due to him being initially programmed as a female character. The result is his animations and camera angles during cutscenes being out of his control, and it often makes him feel like a toy himself, played with in a scenario he doesn't want to be in. He does his best to detach himself from scripted situations and even occasionally ties to glitch out of events- which led him to be disliked by other characters in the game (they never like fruitbugs that play with the game's code). As a result he's kind of a (albeit passionate) loner who lives in a toyshop no one visits. But YOU could change that...

My mom thought we were going to wait until tomorrow to get all the decorations out of the shed and set up the tree but while she and my dad were visiting my niece today I went ahead and did it all (with a little help from Steve of course). I am….so tired but also so happy it’s finally done!!

as far as I'm concerned Teen Dramas (tm) that are obsessed with the characters getting laid are shit but not for 'tHeY'rE cOrRuPtInG oUr ChIldReN!' reasons, just that obsessing over that is a rubbish and inaccurate premise for a story. most teens aren't seriously trying to get sex or drugs they're trying to get video games and movies rated 18
