how do i deal with a coworker badmouthing me to other coworkers and using the power of suggestion against me? she has no real problems to bring to the manager about me bc i don't do anything wrong, i'm a good worker, i know what i'm doing- been there 3 years and the manager likes what i'm doing. figured she doesn't like me bc i'm young (29, she's 72), and i'm not a small country town conservative like everyone else there. mostly it was the bossiness and the nitpicking but now she's started talking in ppl's ears. i;m trying my best to keep on doing what i'm doing and not let it bother me but the energy i get from my coworkers has shifted and it's making me feel unwelcome. and now she's started on the our regular customers too. i'm gonna have to start going out of my way to talk to this particular one bc i overheard her say to the old hag that she thinks i hate her????? no idea where that came from bc i don't treat her badly at all. figured it's bc i just don't talk to her a lot, but that's bc i have nothing to talk about, i'm often busy DOING my job, i'm not in the mood to talk most of the time bc my life is in the shitter and she talks to the other workers more anyway since they all know each other (i'm the newest employee). i'm so tired of this, working there could be so easy and simple if not for this petty bitchy BS. also i'm not the only one who dislikes her, most of the other ppl who work there come in on days that she ISN'T on lol, been thinking of switching days too but i don't wanna leave them too thin. i have enough problems and i just need her to piss off and leave me alone lol. actually i think me having problems is WHY she's targeting me, another lady who used to work there and left a lil while ago had personal problems too and she was the old hags punching bag. now that she's left, the old hag's focused her attention to me.

I like tumblr bcs i can see what I want to for the most part and I don’t have to worry about running offensive jokes when I don’t want them but like, sometimes the sheer amount of nsfw or suggestive content across the whole of social media can be a bit,,,, much. I know, the ban is important stuff and ppl do like the content, but it’s like an five dimensional world to me, something you can not, and never will understand even a sliver of.

With the new ppl from Reddit (not that it or they’re a bad thing) I feel like I’m seeing a lot more of it, alongside the types of memes and jokes that I go to tumblr to run from, and I’m a lil bit tired of it. The only ppl in the whole world who would understand how I feel are either by sibling or a friend who I can’t always talk to. Even the aro and ace communities feel distant now.

I wish I had my own goddamn site where I could actually feel free of stupid sexist stereotypical “BoYs Vs GiRlS” jokes, and a site where bots throw unwanted content in your face, on every site people always belittle anyone who’s a woman, and places where people speak about stuff that makes me uncomfortable, even though it usually isn’t bad. Those who are nice and alright shouldn’t have to change, now that tumblr is basically a safe place for refugees from other sites.

But it’s hard for me to change, and although I’m trying, changing my mindset against this stuff is like trying to move a heavy object that you could’ve sworn moved a bit, but the moment you look at where it is you realize it barely moved at all. I think before I can help myself I need to understand what it is that I’m so stressed about and why, and neither of those ive figured out yet.

I know that there’s nothing wrong with it, but for some reason I’m just really hard to convince. Even worse, as a kid I never learned much about it beyond nature documentaries, so I know that these feelings might have came from myself instead of religion.

While I clear my mindset I think I need my own site, a space where I can escape to, without others needing to accommodate me. Ppl say that everyone ‘isn’t alone’ but for the most part I feel like every experience they talk about doesn’t even relate to mine. I’m isolated on this deserted island I trapped myself on, and hope that one day, I’ll finally leave. Until then, I’ll carve myself a boat by hand, bit by bit. You know what, even if I’m alone in this, I’m still going to make an effort, one step at a time!

bokuto heard some ppl whispering about akaashi & (y/n) in the changing room so he turned around to take a look at his friend then he noticed the scratch marks on his poor friends’ back

‘AKAASHI!! DID YOU GET MAULED BY A BEAR?!?!’ he screamed, grabbing the attention of everyone in the changing room and those who weren’t whispering about akaashi before, were definitely doing so now

akaashi smiled softly and shook his head, hastily throwing on his shirt and buttoning it up as he spoke, ‘no, bokuto-san.’

bokuto quirked a brow, wondering what could’ve possibly happened before his jaw dropped to the ground

‘is it ‘cause i patted your back a bit hard earlier?!?!?’

akaashi didn’t even bother to question how bokuto could think that a slap on the spine could lead to scratch marks and instead just replied normally, ‘no.’

bokuto was stumped once again- why else would his buddy have marks on his back? and why was (y/n) such a prominent name floating around in this changing room? doesn’t everyone know that she is taken by bokuto’s best-bro akaashi?

bokuto’s jaw hung open once again as his soul left his body through an overdramatic gasp, before leaning in and whispering in akaashi’s ear, ‘wait- don’t tell me- you and (y/n)-’

akaashi’s cheeks tinted red slightly so he turned his head away while he pulled on his blazer, ‘no.’

bokuto let out a light sigh of relief, gently patting his pal’s back, ‘ah, good. but then, where did those marks come from?’

before akaashi even got the opportunity to open his mouth to respond, komi and konoha passed the pair, konoha patting akaashi’s shoulder and komi shot him a toothy grin accompanied by a thumbs-up, ‘get some, akaashi.’

then they walked off, konoha mubbling something about his chances with (y/n) being ruined 

this left both bokuto and akaashi extremely confused

once all traces of komi and konoha were gone, akaashi proceeded to explain himself

‘backne is a horrible thing.’ he murmured, grabbing his satchel, slinging it over his shoulder before strolling out the changing room. ‘i’ll wait for you outside.’

and bokuto just stood there like (。_。) ‘what’s backne?’

Shinsuke Kita

atsumu had invited the whole squad back to inarizaki for one last game before coach kurosu’s retirement 

after ages of arrangement, the whole team were able to make an appearance at the game - whether that be for 10 minutes or the whole thing

kita was able to stay for the whole thing

he was currently warming-up while chatting with aran before he was approached by atsumu, who was as lively as ever

‘mister rice farmer! it’s good to see you again!’ he sung, tossing his arm around kita’s shoulder and patting it in a friendly manner, ‘how’s life been treating ya?’

kita and atsumu somehow managed to make small-talk as if they hadn’t been apart for the last 6 years

‘me and my girlfriend have only been together for 6 months but i think i’m ready to settle down.’ atsumu mused, tapping his elbow before realising that he had been talking about himself for a while, ‘but anyway, i see that you and (y/n) are still going strong. haven’t y’all been together since the first year of highschool? that’s impressive! when are you gonna wife her up?’ 

kita perked up upon hearing that, ‘uh, yes. but how do you know that?’

atsumu couldn’t help but smirk, casually running a hand through his hair before motioning to the hickey on kita’s neck which was on semi-display, ‘right there, bud.’

kita looked down but unfortunately, his neck didn’t bend enough to see what atsumu was referring to 

‘also,’ atsumu chuckled, slightly embarrassed about what he was going to admit ‘i saw the pic of her you put on your facebook.’

atsumu was about to open this mouth to say something but then the shrieking noise of the coach kurosu’s whistle rang through the gym room, indicating the start of the match

and you bring out the shampoo

when you massage his scalp he physically relaxes every muscle in his body and pushes his head closer to you

uh spoilers ig. also just keep in mind this is from memory

shiho talks about how yamamoto is flaunting in his typing/working on his laptop. yamamoto says he's not sure she's using the word flaunt correctly. he talks about the fact shiho is at his workplace and isnt she the one flaunting by using her faceroller (thats the lil purple/pink thing around her cheeks)

shiho mentions that she got a mean comment on her social media and that rui did as well. yamamoto brushes it off saying that its part of working in the industry. shiho suggests that the message is from (i cant remember her name lmao evil black cat girl) because the comment said something only someone from inside would know

shiho asks if yamamoto notices anything different about her. yamamoto asks if she got a haircut, shiho says no and says others noticed, even that old man she's seeing. yamo asks her to turn her head away and then turn around real quick. he gets it wrong and asks shiho to do it again (yamamoto epic fail moment).

shiho tells him she got plastic surgery (cant remember the exact procedure) and expresses concern that she is not cute enough and thats why she has to wear the mask. she says she's going to keep on getting plastic surgery procedures to be even cuter. she pesters yamamoto for the reason she has to wear the mask. yamamoto starts to give an explanation but then seems to want to tell her the real reasoning but someone at the door interrupts them before he reveals anything

SO i just finished wonder egg priority and i think that with confidence i can say it has been one of my favorite animes like... ever ?? and not even from hyperfixation or obsession over it just... its so fucking real yet so simple in a way that i havent rlly seen shown in any other shows you feel ??

but first i wanna talk about how sexy the art and animation is real quick... HOMIE ITS SO GOOD LIKE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT JUST... serotonin... the characters are all so unique and iconic and fun but not over the top in their designs yknow ??? they seem like regular every day girls but they stand out and theyre all sO CUTE !!!! also i love how the style is like this soft bubbly slice of life lookin stuff with bright happy colors and the most beautiful scenes you could find but they also have the SICKEST fight scenes complete with whimsical animal helpers and terrifying villains and crazy weapons unique to each character. and the animation. god DAMN shawty i am obsessed with everything in this show. i might make a post solely about the art later lol bc i wanna get into the other stuff.

so the themes in the show right ?? it starts just as this cute lil magical girl kinda deal but within the first episode we see that like.. oh damn... thats kinda heavy... tbh i was a little shocked and thought about stopping bc yknow bad mental health BUT i was so intrigued that i had to keep going and i am SO GLAD that i did. because this show just so beautifully discusses all these heavy topics in such an eloquent and artistically expressive way. and also like, , the juxtaposition of the charming childlike vibe with bright colors and 14 yr old girl protagonists against the dark themes of suicide and so much else,, i think is just perfect. bc a lot of heavy animes are more of the seinen genre and have some middle aged dude as a protag or make the entire color palette dim or offer little relief to the pain of these heavy themes right ?? but NO not wonder egg bitches B) because these problems arent just things that ppl face later in life or just problems that need to be talked about among adults or the edgy seinen watching squad,, these are REAL problems that face people of every age, gender etc and i think its awesome that wonder egg addresses that. some may cringe at the thought of their high schooler watching animes that discuss sexual harassment, suicide, abuse, self harm, eating disorders etc,, but in reality it is the most comforting thing i have ever come across and is basically jsut free anime therapy. because not only does wonder egg present these themes to the viewers as something real that happens to all kinds of people (making said people feel heard in a way that maybe they hadnt before), but it also makes sure to vanquish all of these forms of trauma. and the way the trauma is vanquished isnt always beautiful and it isnt always just magically gone with a poof. the struggles of overcoming or living with that sort of thing are shown in such a real and relatable way that addresses every hardship trauma survivors have to go through. and i just. god i cry bro. 

oh m y GOD and the lgbtq+ rep in this show ?? like shawty... as soon as i saw episode one i was picking up on some gay/lesbian themes but then again im sapphic and project that a lot so i tend to see that sort of stuff like... everywhere... but NE WAYS... episode ten made me FUKCING CRY BRO LIke i cant believe there was a whole trans character with a whole trans pride hoodie like LKGHKDGH my heart is just so.. so fucking full thinking about him. bc like yeah i know there are trans characters in anime but i feel like theyre always very ambiguous about actually being trans or not or erased or portrayed as a harmful stereotype or theyre constantly misgendered and still refered to as their assigned gender at birth and i hate it. HOWEVEr... Kaoru.. *chefs kiss* it was so amazing to see a character straight up say “yeah im trans” in such a casual yet powerful way bc i personally have never seen that before. and i love love loved how he went into his backstory and talked to momoe about gender bc i think thats what she rlly needed and that it helped her find herself and it makes me so happy oh my god,, and the way they talked about it never seemed forced or like it was the focal point of his existence yknow ?? like yeah he existed to help momoe overcome some of her trauma but he also just existed to be HIM yknow ?? also... personally, i headcanon momoe as a trans girl even though i dont remember it being explicitly stated plus the school scenes of her and stuff would seem like they suggest otherwise ??but,,, SHAWTY THE AMOUNT OF SUBTEXT and her complicated relationship w gender is... something i feel like a cis girl would not go through so harshly yknow ?? with all of the questioning and feeling detached from femininity or feeling like ppl dont see her as an actual girl and only like her as a guy or for her masculine traits,,, but dont take my word on this bc i myself am a cis girl but that was just my take on it as someone in the lgbtq+ community trying to educate myself on the transgender community :) either way,, wonder eggs portrayal of momoe and kaoru and the way that momoe becomes so passionate about expressing herself the way she wants to as a girl is just... good lord im gonna cry its so perfect,,,.so ... i just love this show way too much. i also am honestly super lost about the relationship btwn acca and ura-acca ?? bc i was gonna mention ura-acca as a canonically gay guy bc when i was watching i interpreted ep 11 as him being in love with acca and being jealous of Azusa (bc i mean,, they lived together (i swear to god there was only one bed in that apartment) and had a daughter together and def loved each other and also when Frill said they were husbands and then when ura-acca said he wasnt attracted to azusa but he was def jealous of their relationship ??) but then i saw somewhere that theyre brothers ?? which would make sense ig since they look kinda similar and accas daughter called ura-acca “uncle”.. but at the same time its ANIME SO THEY ALL LOOK SIMILAR and referring to gay couples as siblings is an EXTREMELY common euphemism soooo... IM JUST LOST HERE... but yeah i tried doing research and found different things so i cant say anything for sure >:( however,,, if they are canonically a lil fruity for each other... when frill refered to acca as ura-accas husband i imploded dude you never hear that sort of wording in anime.. but if theyre related i am so sorry. 

god this is so much longer than i planned it to be oops but i also love the theme about like.. relying on friends to help carry your weight but at the same time not becoming completely dependent on those friends and using their support to learn how to love yourself and rely on yourself yknow ?? bc that is exactly what healthy friendships look like. bc i think ai sort of had a codependency thing goin on with koito maybe ?? but now she has a whole squad of funky friends that are so so different but all struggle with different kinds of trauma and although they fight over it, they always get through it with each other together. and they push each other no matter what to be the best versions of themselves and they teach other that getting hurt is okay because theyre always gonna be there to pick up the pieces no matter what happens. they can give each other space when they need and adapt to meet each others needs but theyre always able to balance it out with their own needs and thats such a beautiful thing in friendships especially at their age like damn i wish i had that maturity when i was 14 but no all i had was depression. another thing is that through these friendships you get to see all the different sides of each girl; you get to see them being strong or a shining light to their friends when theyre hurting but you also get to see them being hurt and weak and allowing themselves to be on the receiving end of the comfort. their friendships allows them to have weaknesses but it also allows them to highlight their strengths and thrive off of each others. I LOVE FRIENDSHIP DUDE

next i wanna briefly mention some of the themes connected to suicide that ive noticed. a big one is the survivors guilt that ai feels once koito is dead. several times she screams that she wishes she couldve gone with koito and she dreams of a “perfect world” where they committed a double suicide. one of the main reasons for her troubles is that she blames herself for koitos death and feels like it should be her thats dead... but at the same time she feels like too much of a coward to do anything now that koito is gone. she just has all these complex and contradicting feelings that wear away at her in ways that ppl that havent gone through the suicide of a loved one could never imagine. a lot of the times when things like this are portrayed in media i feel like its more in a way thats meant to guilt trip those that have taken their own lives and paint suicide as this selfish sin thats unforgivable but... not only does wonder egg reject that idea and instead portray it as a heartbreaking tragedy with,,, so so many terrible reasons, but it focuses on the feelings of ai separate from koito without blaming her in any way. not once did i feel like the show antagonized koito or that ai blamed koito for doing any of this, but they simply mourned her loss and touched on ais reaction towards the event but separate from koito herself if that makes sense. and i think that discussing survivors guilt without painting koito as the bad guy is something so beautifully done in wonder egg that can really resonate with those that have lost a loved one to suicide and have struggled with these same things.

okay i think this is the last thing ill mention,,, but HOMIE THE PARALLEL UNIVERSE BIT AT THE END. I AM. OBSESSED. i am such a whore for anything about the multiverse okay n e ways...,, not only did this make a super epic trippy ending of season one and add a little bit more magical girl whimsy to the show,, but it had such a powerful message. from the perspective of og ai,, finding out that you killed yourself in another world is... i mean its definitely not a surprise but at the same time it rlly makes you think how close og ai herself couldve been to that point and what decisions led her out of that dark place in her life. if i were in her shoes i would be terrified and id cry bc the thought of going back to such a dark place and actually going through with something like that is my worst fear and probably something that ai fears too. but at the same time,,, think from the perspective of ai two !!! like yeah its true that theres this awful terrible version of ai that dies but theres also a whole version of ai that is a superhero magical girl fighting off monsters to save countless ppls lives !! and she has a badass lizard and a gang of awesome friends !!! at first i was worried that ai two would be jealous of og ai and compare herself to her and feel inferior but like.. THEYRE LITERALLY THE SAME PERSON AND CAPABLE OF THE SAME THINGS !!! and ai two realized that !! just within the span of one episode, she went from the version of ai who took her life,, to the version of ai jumping in front of a friend to take a bullet for them and save their life. and that just inspired THE SHIT OUT OF ME. i think that ai was sent another version of herself to sort of beat her own worst enemy yknow ?? those doubts and fears that shes no good or that shes that same bystander from episode one and that she hasnt changed at all. but getting to interact with her parallel self and see her grow was just what she needed to realize that while yeah sometimes the worst thing can happen and things can be terrible but on the other hand sometimes the most wonderful thing imaginable can happen because she has the power to do either. 

so im gonna go ahead and stop rambling bc i got all my thoughts out that i wanted to for this post :D but yeah lol i might make another if i feel like it sometime. long story short: this show is perfect and it is going on my favorite of all times.

If even we Greeks give in and start calling them like this, then we can't expect foreigners not to do so or not to eventually believe the false historical facts spread by that country. And eventually everyone, even Greeks, will believe that Macedonia or Alexander or whatever else were not Greek.

This thought worries me a lot. But since I live overseas myself, I do try educating foreigners about this.

sorry for the lil rant, but it's not the first time I see Greeks (even on tv!) do that and it is disappointing and saddening to me.

like Turks, Germans, French, British or ppl from any other country would never behave the way Greeks do on such a matter.

Really makes me wonder sometimes what it is that makes us Greeks so unpatriotic. it's somehow like being patriotic equals being a fascist for us, and obviously no one wants that so we just accept everyone else running over us, our history and our culture. I agree, many Greeks have that belief that any slight patriotic sentiment, even without hatred or any feeling of superiority, automatically makes you a fascist. It frustrates me too.

On the topic of our neighbour country, things are very complicated though. It’s not as easy as to say “There’s no other Macedonia - our politicians betrayed us - I try to educate as many people as I can”.

First of all, Skopje is not a correct term to use either. Skopje is their capital city and if I said “there are Pomak populations in Bulgaria, Northeastern Greece and Skopje”, then the average foreigner would misunderstand that sentence. We Greeks simply use that name for the country in lack of any better alternative and because it is not our job to find one for them.

Of course I dislike the name North Macedonia, however I think it is better in comparison to what was being used till the change. Just because we Greeks used the former official name FYROM, it doesn’t mean foreigners did too. It is very sad but it is the truth. In the absence of Greeks, everybody was calling the country Macedonia. The reason is a) the insane propaganda of the neighbours, b) the weirdness of an acronym used as a country’s name and c) the extremely long and complicated name when said in full. Trust me, everyone called them Macedonia and when a Greek showed up and screamed “it’s FYROM”, they were largely ignored or even ridiculed.

Let alone that FYROM is in truth an even more terrible name than North Macedonia. Remember what it means. Former Yugoslavic Republic of Macedonia. What the hell does that mean? That it was formerly (yugo)slavic but now it is not? And that it was or still is THE Republic of Macedonia, the one!!! You get how this was way worse than North Macedonia? North Macedonia suggests that there is another Macedonia too, a South Macedonia. So the average foreigner who doesn’t know much about Greek or Slavic history may be intrigued by that North specification and look up what the “south” Macedonia is and find out about our region and its inhabitants and history. Also the differentiation between North Macedonia and Macedonia (ours, often called Historical or Aegean Macedonia) may intrigue new people to study the issues of the tensions between the two countries and have an educated opinion on it. This was much less probable to happen when foreigners were expected to call the country FYROM and then they were weirded out, so they would be like “oh just call it Macedonia for short” and they would do that without second thought, without knowing someone else condemns this name as appropriation of history and direct land claim.

Of course, the name North Macedonia is mostly inaccurate as only a small part of the far south of the country is part of the actual Ancient Macedonia. The ideal would be a NO Macedonia name but right now it was not realistic. They would not accept it and they were getting deeply under the influence of Turkey. Albania and Bulgaria are deeply influenced by Turkey, Greece felt it was suicide if she destroyed entirely the relations with North Macedonia and was literally surrounded by Turk friends from all sides. I am sure both sides absolutely loathe every single term in this agreement but politics sometimes work differently than our principles. I don’t like it but I have come to a place that I kind of understand. I hate it but it is better than the absolute nothing we had before.

What I can’t come to terms with is giving in for the nationality and language. That really seems as little other than a big fat betrayal. However, if I try hard to be objective about the situation, I believe neighbours are in a worse place than us in the longterm. Huge tensions often arise inside North Macedonia with like 1/3 of “”””””MaCEdoNIAns”””””” being Albanian and Bulgaria claiming the rest 2/3 are actually Bulgarians. And what is factually the truth, that the “Macedonian” language is basically a Bulgarian dialect just must create a situation of chaos within the country. I wouldn’t find it surprising if the nation feels unsafe. And when a nation feels unsafe, the best way to control it, distract it from the identity confusion and give it a purpose is to feed them with a shitload of propaganda, the kind they would LIKE to hear.

When Slavic populations were pushed north and out of Macedonia by the Greeks during the Balkan Wars and then they became part of what was called South Serbia and then part of Yugoslavia and then Yugoslavia collapsed and their population is a blend of Serb Slavs, Bulgarians, Albanians and apparently there must be Greek Slav origins there too, it is no wonder the nation suffers from identity crisis and is susceptible to brainwashing and propaganda. I suppose they hate the guts of all of us surrounding them. So the claim that Macedonian is a separate ethnicity, unrelated to Greeks, and they are the sole descendants, a claim that was only made in 1935 for the first time, was a desperate way to establish an identity against Slavs and Greeks who surrounded them and with whom they felt entirely disconnected and hostile. I mean, at points in time, they were even denying any Slavic heritage. I think lately things aren’t as bad as they were. Of course, their government remains provocative towards Greece even after the agreement but this is no surprise after Greeks agreed on nationality and language. Currently they have tensions on ethnicity and culture mostly with Bulgarians and Albanians so our issue is somewhere in the back. Some of their youth now says they don’t actually believe they are descendants of Alexander the Great and that was an extreme measure to spite Greece. This was one of the terms of the Prespes agreement after all: that they would stop claiming Greek history and culture. Of course extreme and brainwashed nationalists are alive and well (everywhere) but things are better than they were some years ago IMO. I could be wrong though.

Anyway I get why things happened the way they happened. But of course butchering history is not the solution… but as you see they are not very close at solving anything. That was kinda my answer’s point, not sure it came across right. In the meantime, I have to use this geographic term to be understood and it is a little better than any widely understood alternative.

Context for foreigners: Alexander the Great died about 800 years before the first Slav stepped on Macedonia or any other Greek territory. Macedonians and all other Greeks technically stopped being considered as “ancient” half a millennium before the first Slavs showed up.

I wanna share sum of my thoughts of Season 2 (warnin spoilers) of Solar Opposites (i already watched it like a couple of days ago tho lmaoaoa)

Ep 1: Definitely my top 3!! I loved the Rich Aliens especially Kabronious💕i’m glad we get another Fem-presenting Alien other than Teri/Vanbi and Jesse, i LOVED the end; family moment with everybody hugging the Pupa ((also, I loved Derryl- him eating Lunch with the aliens and him with Yum laughing and looking at memes made my heart,)) the only part i really didn’t like was Korvo saying that he always wanted Terry and Jesse saying they’re pieces of shit and need him around :// mehh that didn’t feel like the Korvo we knew from S1.. but the rest of the episode was rlly good!! 6/10

Ep 2-4: OKAY definitely all my top favorites, Ep 2 leaning towards the lil Tervo kiss; Ep 3 mostly bc of the lil moments between Alt Terry and Yasmine and Ep 4 because irdk i just enjoyed it a lot :]] My flaw with Episode 3 though is Korvo manipulating Younger Terry into changing to become the “perfect” Shlorpian for him which definitely isn’t what S1 Korvo would do.. with Episode 2 it would be Korvo making Dinner parties illegal even though he knew Terry enjoyed them a lot:/Though it did make up for it ((kinda)) and had an explanation with Korvo just wanting to spend for time with Terry. I can’t say i was disappointed with Episode 4 though- i was only upset at the fact it didn’t involve them actually going to camp lol - ep 2: 8/10 , ep 3: 7/10, ep 4: 9.9/10

Ep 5: 😟😟 i can’t say i rlly liked this episode too much but it made me laugh the most lmao, i LOVED Chris sm 😩💕💕 and Jen [they were a power couple😎yes i’m gonna make them overrated heheh 😼🤙 /j ] I’d say my biggest complaint with the episode would be when Korvo and Chris had [[sex]] 😟 the replicants side story was okay for the most part - 5 1/2 outta 10

Ep 6: it didn’t feel like a full ep imo?? It just felt like a random idea they managed to fit into a 22 min ep :// it was really just them accepting that they’re “bad ppl” and honestly ? 2/10, 3/10 at most

Ep 7: i’m not a big fan of the wall but oh boy did i enjoy The Wall plot S2 !! Cherie being alive made me so happy bc she dragged The Wall plot 😌 and i kinda got a soft spot for The Duke/Ringo,, just when he died too :( 8/10 - 9/10 bc I LOVE LIGHTNING MCQUEEN >:]

Ep 8: definitely the most disappointing one.. 😟it would’ve been so much better if

The only good parts about it was the beginning where they were trying to get fulfilled (would’ve been better if they were trying to get full-filled together as a family😥😥) and the end where they all became Trees :] that scene was aesthetically beautiful 💕💕 but GOD i would literally k!ll (/hj btw don’t attack me) who ever wrote the plot for the Finale like wtf? 😟 BUT from interviews they said that the Christmas special coming at the end of this year is gonna be the actual Finale for Season 2 so i really hope that the ep redeems the so far Finale. 2/10 since it was good up until the end 😟

Overall: Korvo was extra mean this season :( he was mean last season but it made up for his redeeming qualities and still was occasionally nice to Terry and the family- it felt domestic snd nice, Terry didn’t get enough development this season. It sorta felt like they didn’t know what to do with him so they made him the punching bag :/ He did nothing wrong other than being a lovable himbo. Yumyulack definitely got the most development:] but.. bde. Ew. JESSE!! i LOVED her this season and the Father - Daughter (kinda) moments her and Terry hadd; it all fucked up in the finale though. Pupa? Pupa was amazing 💕💕i loved him sm and he forever has my heart

ohh I've given that a lil bit of thought actually!! I agree that they have very very different genre tastes, like some of the shit Adam is perfectly fine w watching Lawrence couldn't ever sit through (I don't know that Adam likes, you know... Super Fucked Up Movies? I def think he doesn't mind certain aspects of horror/gore as much as Lar might though), and the same can be said vice versa. so because I am a simple man w simple joys, I actually do like to think it's The Princess Bride,,, (no it's not bc Cary's in it, but that's a plus) it's a movie that would've come out when Adam was pretty young but (since I like projecting??) it was smth that was on a lot after it came out, and I don't think he'd outwardly TELL ppl this, but it's a very good movie to watch when he's upset/tired/needs background noise. he could probably recite certain parts of it at this point but don't ask him abt it jdfkddfs

I think the first time Adam suggests that movie Lawrence looks at him for a moment and is like "really???" bc I firmly believe he would be really fond of it too!! he watches it every so often with Diana bc she really enjoys it and Lar can't say he doesn't enjoy it too,, he'll like try to get some work done while it's on (he and Diana will sit in the living room), but inevitably it'll get pushed to the side bc Lawrence gets caught up in watching it, no matter how many times they've seen it. so when Adam brings that up he's just like "!!!!!" internally!! he's so excited abt it + Adam can definitely tell, so the whole time he's just like "oh... I love you 💞💖💕"

I like the idea that they specifically have like, certain traditions when they decide to watch it, so like. they've got the comfiest blanket out on the couch, probably some sort of takeout or delivery if Lawrence hadn't made something for dinner himself, hot chocolate made with milk the way Adam likes it - sometimes they bake chocolate chip cookies together too!! just a nice evening to relax and enjoy each other’s company + a movie they’re both pretty fond of!! it usually ends with Adam’s head on Lawrence’s shoulder, his legs in Lawrence’s lap, sound asleep. sometimes Lawrence will drift off too for a little while, but once he wakes up he makes sure to wake Adam up too so they can go to bed properly (Lawrence will never admit to this, but sometimes if Adam whines and asks for five more minutes, well, Lawrence doesn’t have the heart to deny him,,)

+ YEAH I love the cork board idea too!!! I like the idea that Lawrence is the first to suggest it, ‘cause “Adam, you are far more talented than you give yourself credit for; also I love you.” bc Adam is 100% the kind of dude that takes pictures of his partners/friends/family CONSTANTLY. and even beyond that, Lawrence has always thought Adam was talented!! so it breaks his heart a little sometimes to hear that Adam isn’t confident in his skills/feels nervous sharing any shots with people. he figures if they have a cork board specifically for pinning up photos they like/Adam is proud of, maybe that will help a little bit to show Adam how much he loves his photography + how impressed Lawrence is with it!!

so, for Adam’s top three favourite shots:

the first is a photo of Lawrence in bed, having just woken up + with the early morning sun framing him in a gentle wash of light that makes his eyelashes bright and evident, along with softening the features of his face. Adam was already awake before Lawrence (though admittedly not for very long), and he was just overcome with the feeling of I Need To Document This. he stubbed his toe when getting out of bed to retrieve his camera, but it was totally worth it.

the second is actually one Lawrence took of him, and he totally teared up the first time he saw it but he’d never tell you that. it’s a picture of him leaning against the counter in their kitchen, wearing only his boxers and one of Lawrence’s t-shirts that hung off of one shoulder, and his eyes are closed while he’s holding a cup of coffee he’d just poured. his hair was a disaster, he was a little bit grouchy, he’d had trouble with the toaster, but Lawrence saw him and instantly felt like he needed to keep that moment.

the third is actually one of he, Lawrence, and Diana; it was taken using the self-timer feature so Adam could be in it too, because Diana wanted to have a picture of all three of them. this is the picture that actually DID make him cry the first time he saw it, because it’s just like. that’s his family!!! he loves them!!! holy shit!!! and Lawrence had to hug him for a while even though he was Also having a moment,, Diana walked up to the two of them and hugged them both too. it was a good moment for the three of them!!

for Lawrence’s top three favourite shots:

the first is one of he and Diana that Adam took one weekend while Diana was staying with them at the apartment, stealthily shot from the threshold of the kitchen. Diana is painting his nails light blue and telling him all about her day at school, and Lawrence is smiling and his mouth is open because he was in the middle of responding to something she had said. the faint glow of light from the TV and the lamps they have on the side tables paint he and Diana in a warm kind of light, and it just looks so soft. he’s so very happy with the family he has now.

the second photo is one that Adam had gotten when he was in the midst of changing into his sleep clothes, sandy blond hair a mess and his eyes half-lidded and sleepy as he glances in the direction of the camera with a tired smile. he’s actually grinning at Adam behind the viewfinder, slacks halfway down his thighs and his dress shirt unbuttoned to expose the undershirt beneath. he was tired as fuck and kind of a mess after pulling a long shift that Adam just barely stayed up for, so knowing Adam was probably worn out from waiting up for him and Still wanted to take a picture? it’s very much just 🥺🥺

the third picture is one that he took of Adam, wearing one of his college sweatshirts on the couch with his knees drawn up under his chin and his cheek resting against the tops of them. he was deeply focused on the movie that was playing (what the movie was, Lawrence forgets) and he was that soft kind of sleepy, eyes slipping shut every so often as he forces himself to stay awake to finish whatever it was. Lawrence had gotten it one of the times his eyes were open, bathed in the multicoloured lights of the TV, and god Lawrence just felt his heart clench and knew he needed this.

honestly, it’s pretty equal between the two of them on who takes pictures of the other, and though Lawrence is inexperienced and his shots are a little blurry or he forgets to keep his thumb out of the frame, it’s still perfect. Adam always feels his chest swell with this emotion of you love me enough to capture these moments forever, and honestly? Lawrence’s enthusiasm kind of builds up his confidence a little; that he sees Adam even with the wildest of bedhead and drool on his pillow and thinks Yes, I Need This. it’s so. 🥺

it’s their life, pinned up for anyone to see when they come to visit. the love that warms the apartment and their hearts, as evidenced by the numerous array of pictures they have displayed. it’s them, their family, their love, and that’s all that matters. <33
