I do not understand these people who say Narinder is unfairly hated and that there’s like, a disproportionate amount of people who enjoy Kallamar. Are we in the same fandom? If you as an adult are offended by a child speaking casually to you, you need to check your ego.

They are showing you trust by engaging with you in a casual manner. To perceive that as disrespect is to completely misunderstand how kids work and to honestly just be really fucking stuck-up. Reacting negatively to casual or positive engagement is how you give a kid trust issues, I know from experience.

If you want children to constantly be scared of/intimidated by or speaking formally to you, then you shouldn’t be in charge of a child.
