i dont think ive ever talked to you before but my name is slime and i wanna say--i l o v e ur art!! ur art style is so cute, and i havent associated with the fnaf fandom in a minute so seeing people that're still fans of it at least make me happy :D

anyways, ive been in hell of a lee mood these past few days--can i ask, would you say moon or sun are better at those evil teases?

i know that moon is more of an evil ler, but sunny is more of a playful ler based on sum of ur ler!sundrop art--and i love both

Sun is absolutely the sickeningly sweet type while Moon is such an evil butthead. I'd say that would certainly make them the perfect tag team against anyone. Sugar and spice.

Sun's teases would consist of lots of silly names and rambling. He'd also giggle with you and crack cheesy jokes too. He's kinda all over the place as well, mentally and physically. He and Moon are big baby talkers due to working with kids so if you're weak to that, they'll both end your whole career XD

Ex:

"What a fun laugh! Can I hear more? Huh? HUH!?"

"Does this tickle? What about here? Oo! Here!?"

"IIIIIIIII'm gonna GETCHYA!"

"Giiiitchy gitchy gitchy gitchy gooo~!"

Moon is much more devious. He's still silly though. When his glitch side is more docile, he's more like Sun, but jumps around less and he's quieter. He's more prone to cooing in his normal programming. That definitely transfers into his more devilish, glitches side too. Aaaaand just like Sun, he's also a giggle but in a more 'evil' way. And watch out for his altered nursery rhymes 👀...

annual writing self-evaluation

Thanks to @astorytotellyourfriends for the tag - I didn't do this last year!

1. List of works published this year (in the order that they were posted):

If She Lived in Space, Man, I'd Build A Plane crimson & clover pulling overtime model citizen; zero discipline what you give just serves me right two jack trippers and a chrissy perception check all my kinktober fills a hollow tree

2. Work you are most proud of (and why):

Gosh, that's hard. I'm proud of all of them for different reasons, and I have issues with all of them for different reasons. I guess I would say "what you give just serves me right" makes me happy, and was something I had to push myself to do, but I was pleased with how it turned out in the end.

3. Work you are least proud of (and why):

I hate that I have two fics out that I haven't updated in ages! I am not proud of that! And there are a few things in all of them that I'd tweak.

4. A favorite excerpt of your writing:

Oh golly. Alright, from a hollow tree, which was my Halloween fic featuring Lilith!succubus!Chrissy:

Fog slips into the van when he opens the door. A mist so thick it’s disorienting as he drops to the ground, and the shape of a girl forms itself out of the gloom.

5. Share or describe a favorite comment you received:

Almost every single regular commenter on Soul makes my heart sing and my panties drop, and I'm so sorry my brain is being stupid right now.

6. A time when writing was really, really hard:

Right goddamn now. It's like squeezing blood from a fucking stone, and I have no idea why, but everything comes out strained and blechy and I hate it, and I refuse to inflict it on anyone else so I'll just sit like a lump, churning out crap and never showing it to anyone.

7. A scene or character that you wrote that surprised you:

Genuinely did not think that I would get so into the Hopper/Chrissy/Eddie dynamic as I did when I wrote it as a crackship as part of kinktober. But, like, I could get DOWN with that shit.

Also, Hellcheerington surprised me. Oh, and writing Eddie's dad for Soul was weirdly cathartic? I was determined to make him a person and not a collection of cliches, which was easier said than done. I think I got there, in the end. Hope so, anyway!

8. How did you grow as a writer this year:

I didn't, I fucking regressed. Or, no, not really. I pushed myself a bit, tried to get sharper and cleaner with some prose. Read some theory books, worked on my rhetorical devices, forced myself to kill a couple darlings along the way (but not all the darlings, god damn it).

I also published a book, so yay?

9. How do you hope to grow next year:

I'd like to get back to writing original fiction. I've been in a slump with that, too, because it doesn't have the instantaneous feedback that fanfic does. I want to split my time between fic and pro writing stuff, and I want to be very realistic about how much mental energy my real job takes up. When I used to write like a madwoman, I didn't have the role I currently do, which is a senior project manager leading a team, working mostly with executive-level staff. Don't get me wrong, my job pisses me off a lot, and stresses me out, too, but it pays well and we live in a shithole of a society where money matters in the grand scheme of things.

So, like, I guess I hope to grow as a writer in writing even when my brain doesn't want me to, or it doesn't feel great to do so.

10. Who was your greatest positive influence this year as a writer (could be another writer or beta or cheerleader or muse etc etc):

Freaking Shirley Jackson, man. That bitch can write.

11. Anything in your real life show up in your writing this year:

I'm always putting kinky shit I see or experience at the bdsm club into my fic. I am as God made me.

12. Any new wisdom you can share with other writers:

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. Stop comparing yourself to other authors. Turn off stats on your AO3. Write what you fucking want and quit worrying if other people are going to like it.

13. Any new projects you’re looking forward to starting (or finishing) in the new year:

I'm going to be so, so glad when Soul is done because I love it so much but it is also the millstone around my neck.

Hey hey, I'm Corphish! I'm just a pretty normal guy, hey hey... But I take on a lot of the guild's water rescue jobs! I love the ocean more than anybody else here!

I'm Chimecho. I do the cooking for the group, and I'm also something of... the brains. I help all of our Guild members gather up their friends from other areas with my Friendship Bell! It's a pretty logistics-heavy role, but I enjoy it!

I'm Croagunk. What do I do at my cauldron...? Meh-heh-heh. ...Nah, it's nothing intimidating. I run the Croagunk Swap Shop. You can get some pretty good items from it. Worth a visit, even if you're not Guild material... meh-heh-heh.

also a note, because it's been in 2 tags + mentioned somewhat in your message majoranon, YES the fact that hawkeye is in fact Chief Surgeon and has a lot of actual authority at the MASH 4077th is all a big part of his whole *waves hands* want to relinquish responsibility and wanting to be taken care of and just be a silly little boy that everyone loves (and if people less-than appreciate him he gets Very Sad) -- I mean, we have several episodes in which he makes it clear just how little he wants command + how strongly he reacts when not included/liked/loved/wanted/etc

30 What is your favorite theory or headcanon that has absolutely no bearing on the plot and isn't important at all, but which is completely compliant with canon?

Oh gosh that's a difficult question. There are certain fandoms I have an infinite amount of hc and theories for, but I don't have any that I can think of for CR. Looking around in my CR tag I did get reminded of all the wild theories around Bolo from EXU Calamity and I love each and everyone of them hahah. Well I guess imagining that Yussa has (had) a mullet at some point is a hc that is not important at all, and golly do I like the drawings that I made of that x)

33 You may ask any member of the cast one, and only one lore clarification question. What do you ask?

Hmmm I'm usually a wait-and-see kind of person.. I certainly don't have C3 lore questions, because of all that might still be revealed. Nor any C1, because while I like it well enough I'm not that interested. When it comes to C2 I'm especially looking forward to Fjord and Molly's origins comics, and there is a chance I might get the Nine Eyes of Lucien next weekend (we're celebrating Sinterklaas in the Netherlands, which means exchanging gifts and I asked for the book 🤞If I don't get it, I'll probably buy it myself lol)

I'm not expecting an Essek Origins comic, and I would definitly love to know more about Den Thelyss and about Verin in particular. Matt has dropped little snippets about his relationship with Essek and it sounds delightful and kind of heartwarming? I wanna know more about his dynamic with Essek growing up, but also as adults. So yeah I guess I would ask Matt about Verin.

Wait wait wait, speaking of Den Thelyss: my real question is about Essek. HOw is Essek not consecuted. WHat's the story, Matt?? Isn't it too important for his den to just accept a "no thanks" from him? Did he "too busy, maybe later" it for so long until his den just gave up? Did he fake it? If so: how do you fake a consecution ritual that takes an entire day? As far as I'm aware he lies about it to everyone, so can I assume he lies about it to his den too?

I also think it's a curious coincidence that Essek didn't receive a consecuted soul when he was born in the first place. I mean it makes sense that you're not guaranteed to get one when you're born because not everyone who worships the Luxon gets to be consecuted and so it's pretty much random, but it's a thought that struck me nonetheless while listening to c2e91 again a few days ago.

This answer was a bit of a ride, sorry hahah.

35 You can set the time and place of the next EXU series, but it cannot be within 100 years of the Calamity nor Divergence. When and where do you set it?

I have a weakness for creatures that are commonly viewed negatively, shown in a different light. So the Mighty Nein's introduction to Xhorhas will always be one of my favourites, and I would be very interested in seeing a mini campaign take place in Asarius for example. That could be so much fun, especially if like half (or all) of the cast plays some type of monster: very fond of bugbears, but also a minotaur PC?! that would be so cool..

Besides that I'm also super intrigued by the lands scarred by the Calamity. It reminds me of a place in Belgium where apparently nothing would grow for a good while after. I'm never really interested in WW II stories, so many have been forced on me for educational purposes and as someone who's prone to downheartedness all they did was make me feel pessimistic. That story of the land and the animals that fled it grieving what happened there always did something to me though. It was probably barren because of the stuff the armies used to gass their enemy, but still, the idea of a cursed and/or grieving land captures my imagination.

And I don't really care when it takes place, because the reclaiming of the land around Ghor Dranas to build Rosohna came with a lot of setbacks and any stage of that process could be really good!

Summary: Sam being Sam. Coronation time. Butterflies.

A/n: Guys the series is almost over! Oh my gosh! Just a chapter or two left.

Part 9

“Y/n!” Bucky called jogging after you.

You turned toward the prince as he came toward you.

“I, uh, wanted to know if you wanted to go for a ride with Me, Amy, and Steve.” Bucky said nervously rubbing the back of his neck.

“Thanks, but I’m sure Dot would love to join you. Sam and I—"

“Sam? What are you doing with Sam?” Bucky said with a displeased look.

“He wanted to take me for a ride in his carriage around town before dinner. I don’t see why you would care; you have Dot.”

“Well, yeah, but—”

“Y/n! There you are! You coming?” Sam asked from one of the doors.

“Yup! One sec!” You called before looking at Bucky. “Have fun. Tell Amy to be careful.”

Bucky shoved his hands in his pockets. “I, um, I will. See you at dinner tonight I guess.”

“See ya.” You said before jogging to catch up with Sam.

“Where’s Y/n?” Steve asked saddling a horse as Bucky walked up.

“She’s with Sam.” Bucky grumbled.

“Is that jealousy I hear?” Steve joked as Bucky shot him a glare.

“No, just mad she chose him over me.”

“That’s jealousy.” Steve confirmed. “Do tell me again why you chose Dot over Y/n.”

Bucky huffed as he tightened his saddle. “Not now Steve. And Dot’s not that bad.”

Steve looked at his friend with disappointment. “Right, I must have missed all the times she was pleasant. She’s trouble, Buck. And her painting skills aren’t exactly praiseworthy.”

“Well, not everyone can be a professional like you, Steve. Wait? You saw that?”

Steve nodded with a grimace. “I would try to be nice, but it was horrible. Sorry, pal. I think you might need to rethink your life choices.”

“Let’s just get on with our horse ride. You ready Amy?” Bucky asked turning to the little girl that just rounded the corner.

“Yup!” She said with a huge smile.

“So, what’s the deal with you and Bucky?” Sam asked as you slowly rode through town.

“N-nothing. What makes you say we have something?” You said nervously.

Sam deadpanned and sighed. “That man is head over heels for you. My question is why he is with that Dot woman.”

“Bucky is not head over heels for me. And he’s with Dot because I matched them together.”

“Why don’t you just tell him how you feel? That would save you a whole lot of trouble. And don’t you dare start telling me that you’re not good enough, because you are. You are Y/n the Beautiful.”

“Well, thank you, Sam.” You said as he smiled. “I’m glad someone thinks I’m beautiful.”

“Over here!” Sam called as you walked into the dining room. “Come sit by me.”

You walked over to Sam and sat by him, unaware that Bucky’s eyes were following you.

“Hi, Sam. Nat is on another date with Bruce, so I’m glad I’m not going to be alone.”

“Don’t think you would be alone even if I was gone. I think princey boy is staring you down.” Sam chuckled turning your head.

You saw Bucky staring at you, a frown settled on his lips. You stared back at him for a little bit before he turned away to talk to Steve.

“I’m just going to say that that was a little creepy.” You said as Sam nodded.

“I think he’s jealous. I’m loving this actually. I wonder what would happen if I put my arm around your shoulders.” Sam said slinging his arm lazily around you.

You both watched as Bucky’s smiling face came to a stop on both of you. His face turned into an all out murder stare.

“He’s so jealous!” Sam laughed. “This is kinda fun. Can I do this the entire night?”

“As much as he deserves it, leave the man alone.” You playfully scolded Sam.

“Oh alright.” Sam pouted crossing his arms. “It was fun while it lasted. Ooh, look! They’re bringing out the food!”

You rolled your eyes and laughed at the man beside you. “You’re such a dork.”

Dinner went well, and you wished Sam a goodnight before going to your room and collapsing on your mattress. Tomorrow was the coronation, and your stomach twisted at the thought of Dot becoming queen. Oh well, it was Bucky’s choice. Your eyes began to water. You loved Bucky, and it hurt to see him so enamored by another woman. Clutching your pillow close you cried into it.

“Gosh dang it heart! Why must you be this way?!” You sobbed, tears soaking your pillow.

The castle was buzzing with activity. Bucky was finally becoming king today, and today was your last day in the kingdom. You had hardly seen any of Bucky today. He was swamped with pictures and the press for his coronation, but it was probably for the best. You had been packing a good deal of the day, happy to go back home, but sad because the man you loved would be left here.

Grabbing the box off your desk, you opened it, tears filling your eyes. If Bucky couldn’t feel butterflies with you, then you could support his love of Dot. You lightly jogged down the stairs, clutching the box close. You kept a lookout for Damien, you needed him to deliver the gift to Dot. Bucky saw you walking down the stairs and smiled.

“Y/n, haven’t seen you all day.” He said before taking in your appearance. “You’re not ready.”

You looked at your t-shirt and jeans. “Oh yeah. I should probably do that. Hey, you look kingly.”

Bucky laughed. “Not sure if that’s a word but thank you. My hair is good?”

“You look fine Bucky. I, uh, gotta go get ready.” You lied, your eyes darting to the floor.

“See you in a little bit then.” He said with a wave before walking away.

You sighed. Then Damien caught your eye. “Damien!”

The man walked toward you, a frown on his features. “You’re not ready.”

“Yeah, yeah, I know. Can you give this to Dot? I want her to wear it for the coronation.” You shrugged handing him the box.

“Of course. Anything else?” He asked raising an eyebrow.

“Please don’t tell Bucky, but I’m leaving.”

“Why?”

“I’m sorry Damien, I just…please give that to Dot.” You spoke quietly before running up the stairs.

On your way to your room, you bumped into Sam.

“Whoa there!” He chuckled before taking in your current state. “What’s wrong?”

“It’s nothing.” You mumbled wiping your eyes.

“It’s obviously something if it’s got you crying.” Sam refuted, his face full of concern. “Tell me what’s wrong.”

“Everything. It seems like nothing is going right. I-I just need to go back home. I’m leaving Sam. Please don’t tell anyone. It’s for the best.”

Sam sighed before hugging you. “I won’t. Just be careful, okay? Wouldn’t want my favorite person to end up somewhere she wasn’t supposed to be.”

You laughed through tears. “Thanks Sam. Y-you’re a good friend.”

“Probably the best.” Sam joked. “But seriously, stay safe.”

“I will.”

Bucky’s blue eyes darted around frantically. Where were you? You weren’t among the dancing couples or by the food, most of which Sam was hogging by the way. He tugged the collar of his shirt, desperately trying to cool down his frantic state. Dot noticed Bucky’s nervousness as soon as she walked in. She thought Bucky was looking for her, but could tell he hadn’t even noticed she walked in.

“Hey Jamie.” Dot said causing Bucky to jump.

“Hey Dot, I—where did you get that?” Bucky questioned as soon as his eyes landed on the golden butterflies that were pinned to the shoulder of her dress.

“Y/n gave it to me. Isn’t that sweet?” Dot gushed batting her eyelashes.

Butterflies. Bucky thought. Freaking butterflies.

Bucky suddenly felt really bad. His eyes darted around the room, but no such luck. You weren’t there. His heart sank. I’m an idiot!

Meanwhile the king watched his son. The king had seen many things in his life, but golly, his son could be an idiot at times. He turned to Nat who was currently sipping her wine.

“Where is she?” The king asked.

Nat looked away. “I—”

“Don’t lie to me.”

“She’s at the airport. She didn’t want anyone to know.”

“Must I do everything myself?” The king said standing up.

“Where are you going?” Nat asked with wide eyes.

“To go get that woman from the airport and get my son to tell her how he feels. I feel like they both need their happy ending. Don’t you?”

8. oldest wip: heck if i know! but here’s what i did. i scrolled to the very bottom of my docs, at least to the point where fics started cropping up, and then scrolled back up until i found the first thing that hadn’t been posted already. and i found! my oldest wip! magic! it’s a CUTE idea involving my beloveds in the ballroom but apparently i haven’t touched it in over a year (last modified 8/16/20) which is a tragedy. here’s an excerpt for your troubles:

9. current wip: heck if i know!! i’ve got a lot of pots that i’ve left to simmer in my kitchen, lady! truly i have many different scenes and moments in time. BUT! the last thing that i was like Oh? Hello? about was this lil fic involving adam and belle on their honeymoon in paris (well it starts in paris, you know they be going all over the dang place.) it’s so lovely and i feel like it’s relatively done but i’m letting it simmer particularly cuz sometimes if i let something sit long enough i’ll discover where it’s actually supposed to end.

10. do you set yourself deadlines? look at my disaster of a wips kitchen and ask me again if i set deadlines

11. books and/or authors who influence you the most? well of course fredrik backman influences me! we don’t write the same genre or style though, but he really inspires me to write about what makes me happy. all his works are just purely about love and friendship and family and trust and loyalty and what happens when those things are put to the test. and he writes about this stuff cuz it’s what he knows and what makes him most happy. and i love it so much. when i look at all that he’s done and written, it makes me feel like i can handle writing my own book, even multiple books. i know a lot of authors do this, of course, but his works just mean so much to me and i feel so inspired by him. i want my books to be about all those things too (though with an added hint of royal drama, perhaps), and… i don’t know. i’m getting myself all choked up! i’m simply inspired.

12. describe your perfect writing space. i’ve been writing stuff on my phone a lot lately. i really only write on my laptop when i’m working on a bigger work. though, i think even that juliette’s birthday fic was mostly written on my phone :/ so i guess perfect writing space is a comfy seat on the couch (or in bed) with No Noise (besides white noise) and either lamp or natural lighting!

16. how many drafts do you need until you’re satisfied with your project? i think i read through and edit my works like 2-3 times before posting, maybe 3-4 if it’s a little bigger. and if it’s Real Big then i’ll have grace take a gander at it. it’s important to have a Local English Major on stand by in times of trouble.

17. what writing habits or rituals do you have? oop! answered already! darn i thought there was no overlap. so close.

18. if you could collaborate with anyone, who would it be and what would you write about? well it’s not like @ilikebigassbuttsandicannotlie and i have an entire universe that we’ve built over the last year or anything. that would be crazy, ha ha. also i’d definitely do another fic/art collab with @drawnby27emilys - the first one was a grand success! ah, my two emilys! have you two met? i’m introducing you here now since you’re both tagged.

25. favorite part of writing? when you’ve just gone completely tunnel vision with it. nothing in the world exists except the one you’re creating before you. you look up and somehow you’ve written 2,000 words and you’re not even convinced that you blinked once the whole time.

30. favorite idea you haven’t started on yet? my book lol. and that’s not entirely true, i’ve written plenty about those kiddos. but nothing strictly book yet, ya know? just a lot of world and character building. which is still important!!! i try to remind myself!!! but i really would like to start the actual thing. i thought i did once but i don’t know where that scene was going. i’ll probably only end up using part of it, if anything.

34. what was the hardest scene you ever had to write? AH. strike two, i answer this one as well.

35. what scene/story are you least looking forward to writing? theres a scene in my book that i know is gonna take all i have to get it right. also a fic idea that i just cannot bring myself to properly get on paper cuz it frustrates me.

48. what’s the most self-insert character/scene you’ve ever written? i’m like you, jess. i think i sprinkle a bit of myself into everything, when it applies. besides some traits (adam’s night owl-ness, belle’s humming and singing to herself all day long, etc.) i think i’m more in my work in the way of what it’s about. all that domestic fluff and such. even if i don’t live domestically with anyone or have a husband or children yet, it’s all very much me. the kind of sweet, gentle love that i hope to express to those around me, and that i hope to have for myself one day :”)

Of course! I live on comments and really enjoy getting feedback from my readers. I sometimes look for how readers want to see stuff go, if they want to see a series or pairing continue, that sort of thing.

5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

I don’t usually write angsty and I am not sure if I really have anything with and angsty ending. I have been wanting to write a bit more angst and do have a few things in mind in the ME fandom so I don’t know how long I will be able to keep up with that answer.

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

I mean... In a joke term... a lot of my fics end with “happy endings” as I write a lot of smut. But if I was to think of a long fic that I have or am working on I would say 60 Minute Man. It won’t end... happy per say but I do believe it the the fic that has the greatest potential for a happy type ending.

7. Do you write crossovers? If so, what’s the craziest one you’ve written?

Not usually. I don’t usually read them, so I don’t usually right them. However I have been working on wedging Anna into the ME universe and we will see a few things out of that in a little bit. Also I guess you could count the Wasteland By Moonlight Series(https://archiveofourown.org/series/1769692) a Crossover that is... on it’s base incredibly hard for me to describe.

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

No.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Yes! Almost exclusively....

I am not sure what is meant by what kind but I am usually one for writing ones shots. A lot of my “style is stringing together one shots or shorter smutty fics that can then work on a long term development of the character or the relationships between characters

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

I don’t think so? I haven’t looked and honestly don’t know

11. Have you ever had a fic translated?

12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Nope. I have fics that have been discussed together, brainstormed together but never co written.

13. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

I don’t think I have one. All ships need love and smut and therefore I will write for the ones I can!

14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Of gosh... Sadly Probably rogue Robot. I am not sure about it but I feel like I have written myself into a corner and am having a hard time working out of it. I might eventually be able to come back to it but I honestly have no clue

15. What are your writing strengths?

I honestly don’t know. Maybe speed? A lot of people comment on how fast, when I sit down to crank out a one shot, I can get it out. I like getting certain scenes done in sessions and I don’t feel like my brain lets me let it go until I have hit a point I am happy with it.

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

Planning. Oh my god golly gosh I am horrid at planning. I am working on planning out a fresh CoCo fic right now and I almost feel like if I set down to write it I would be farther along at this point. But I want this one to work out for how it establishes things in their relationship.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

It is very hard. I want to get specifically things like cadence in speech correct because speech patterns can be very character establishing. I have not tried it but I would reallyt want to find someone who was a native speaker to know if it came off as weird or not.

18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Ummmmmmm well I used to write for Vampire Cornicles fics that my friend edited way back but I honestly would not even consider those things I wrote at this point. They have also been lost to the purges so I have nothing to show. Outside of that I think... Skyrim?

19. What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

Lil’ Red Ribbon.

Hands down it is the favrotie thing I have written, mostly because Nyx came up with the art first and I just had to write the piece to go with it. It spawned another fic which has spawned oh so many plot bunnies in my head. I need to get back to that one!

Heres the tea; first up theres too much to say in notes but I was there from the begining of G0tham + the g0tham fandom to the end & I went through all the horrid horrid discorse and the idiotic behaviours of fans & the writers nonsense on their offical twitter account as well. So heres the bomb shell: Ed was not a well liked character in G0tham until he struck up a relationship with Oswald. After that his populairty inceased a little directly along with the EdxOswald ship, however, Eds populairty didn't peek until he legit had a homophobic melt down toward Oswald. Theres a lot of debate about this but the truth no one likes to talk about is that the Writers and his actor INSISTED that Ed absloutely WAS NOT GAY which made his behaviours toward Oswald incredibly awful given if he was not gay or bi ("Ed is in no way queer" was the actors actual words on the subject ) because suddenly the fandom couldn't actually excuse Ed's behaviour by claiming it was simply "internalized homophobia", bc Ed being not gay/bi made it just Homophobia TM. However the "Nygm0bblep0tters" held onto this idea of Ed having "internalised homophobia" to the bitter end & the writers gleefully. Queer baited & were just all around aweful until the end too! So back to the point, Ed got mad popular when he went full homophobe & a lot of very homophobic fans considered him a hero 'saving' them from the 'gay cancer / gay agender' while idiotic slash shippers woobied him as that poor babu with interalised homophobia. The season 3 plot was HORRIFIC and destoryed the show. There as never & probably never will be anything more reildicious & homophobic on screen then that season long shit show. No, not even supernatrual gets close. I legit cant even rewatch season 3 bc it is HORRENDOUS. anyway. deep breath. There u go.

God. GOD. Like... I KNEW there was a reason the show gave me major bad vibes. For the most part, it was the writing which felt a little ableist to me. But golly! Let’s mark down ableism AND homophobia. I didn’t actually know this? Because as said, I’ve no actual context to the scenes that I saw. I just knew Ed rejected him and then Os killed his girlfriend and then Ed shot him. Yay, what a wonderful ship! Am I right? Which I was confused why so many people shipped them before... but now... NOW I’M ULTRA CONFUSED. Don’t get me wrong at all. I don’t mind the Os and Ed ship! Hell, if an Os manages to whoo my Ed, I’d ship it! But in the context of G0tham verse? It was always so... Weird to me. Like if they were treated as a problematic ship, I wouldn’t mind. But people would just ship them as if they’re very in love and as if it’s healthy and as if it’s cute. When like. They’ve done such horrible stuff to each other and from the sound of it NOW, it’s just awful.

Anyways! Now you’ve REALLY turned me off the show! Like GOSH. I can’t even find the words to say?? Other than. I’m just not really surprised. Like I SOUND surprised, but I know I shouldn’t be. It doesn’t surprise me coming from a show like this.

But I guess I wanted to say one thing is that I’ve noticed that there are legit fans who seemingly love him outside the ship. Because I saw a Reddit thread on discussing which Ed is better, Ark@m verse or G0tham verse... in which damned near everyone said G0tham verse and I just... couldn’t believe it. I guess because Ark is what made me REALLY love Ed’s character, it’s what really introduced me to his character, and it had a lot of cool things about his character which I take a lot of inspiration for my own portrayal. People talked about how much better he was in G0tham. But then again... those people probably never really bothered listening to the patient files or doing most of the riddles, because lots of them... criticized him for things that were already explained in the game. (For example; there were a couple of people saying his hatred for Bat makes no sense. Even tho... the series literally gives SEVERAL REASONS as to why he hates Bat so much and why it’s personal. And many others thinks he’s written to be intentionally stupid/pretending to be smart in it, which... I also don’t think, but I can somewhat understand why others WOULD think that.) OKAY, I’m really getting off-topic but. Even on YouTube when I saw history about Ed’s character, everyone in the comments were like “G0THAM DID ED THE MOST JUSTICE!! I NEVER LIKED HIM UNTIL THAT SHOW!!” Which again, is funny... because after everything I heard? And now after what you told me, I just... do not like the sound of Ed’s characterization in G0tham.
