Speaking of Ableism it’s sooo transparent that whenever people pitch Stardew Valley as their “comfort game”, it being “perfect” and inclusive of “all queer people” (minus disabled ones) they always leave out the jarring and quite frankly triggering level of ableism in the game.

Which did not get removed in any of the updates! Like you can add moss to every tree but you can’t change Penny assaulting George + the fact you’re supposed to defend her from George being upset?? Like to clarify what actually happened is George is getting mail and PENNY MOVES HIS WHEELCHAIR WITHOUT HIS PERMISSION TO GET IT AND GEORGE IS RIGHTFULLY UPSET AND THE WRONG ANSWER IS SAYING YOU SHOULD ASK GEORGE FIRST???

Plus the Harvey event?? Like George does know what’s best for his own body and once again the disabled man advocating for himself is the wrong answer?? Like Harvey you’re telling him to do arm exercises whilst he’s in a manual chair. That’s quite literally all he does

Also Harvey threatening to tell Evelyn without George’s permission. Then there’s George’s dialogue himself from referring to himself as wheelchair bound, talking about how he can’t play catch w Alex, ect all of which is simply an ableist understanding of the disabled identity. Like to be clear George is not written to be a commentary on internalized ableism. The person writing his dialogue genuinely thinks he can’t play catch 😭 and this is all ignoring the ageism in his dialogue as well. The only good writing of George is him being mean to the villagers whom are textually ableist to him like. George and Evelyn should be meaner and Alex should kick both Penny and Harvey’s ass 😭

Thank you for removing the romance between Gray Wing and Turtle Tail, I personally never really liked that ship. Not sure why, but I like them better as friends.

I ALSO like them better as friends, but to be totally fair, I also just don't like Gray Wing lmaoooooo

He's awful in-canon. He's everything terrible about how the writers portray "nice guys" and ALL of his romances were trash. All FOUR of them.

He's totally oblivious to how Bright Stream is being pressured into leaving the mountain, because he's thirsting about how lucky his brother is to have such a beautiful woman as a mate. Then he gets her killed by tripping like a teenager in a horror movie during Eagle Quicktime Event 44 and mopes about it, until they decide her death was Nobody's Fault :)

Storm is really not that into him, she's pretty obviously just friendly and polite, but he spends all his time with her anyway neglecting all of his other friendships. Until Storm has a Hotel Transylvania ass ZING moment looking into Clear Sky's Baby Blue Eyes and falls in true love. Gray Wing doesn't notice this, of course, and gets dumped. Then when she runs off while pregnant later he just lets her, so that he can have a casual chit-chat with his brother over some guy's dead corpse.

He was treating Turtle Tail like ABSOLUTE shit the entire time he was courting Storm, screaming at her about having the wrong friends, not giving her the time of day, and when Storm dumps him he goes crawling back to her only to find out she's moving in with Bumble.

And then later he sneers about a fat woman trying to escape domestic abuse, this is a series for kids where he's framed as the good guy

and he gets to have a Wowowowow Sooo Cooool moment SAVING TURTLE TAIL FROM TOM THE WIFEBEATER, because it's as if the ONLY reason poor fucking Turtle Tail exists as a character is to serve HIS arc. Before she gets turned into a pancake by a car so he can be sad about it

And then, after THREE women have already died in various awful ways so that Gray Wing can feel bad, Slate fades into existence like a powerpoint slide halfway through the series. Now he can finally have his own children, who don't drop him the minute they find out he's not their biodad

Where was Slate before? We don't know! We killed off so many women that we had to beam in new ones. Just replace them. They're basically all interchangeable and Gray Wing was such a good boy, he "deserves" a reward.

So, for my AU... GOD no. Not happening. None of these relationships were worth salvaging, imo. Gray Wing dies in the first book like GOD INTENDED.

I lack a full plot (and also am 10 years out of practice) but I kind of want to write my own take on the Cania Heist just because there's a scene in my head where Gortash is doing something and Durge, who was behind him, holding off the locals while he works - walks in dripping with fiendish ichor, covered in black feathers and dragging a dissolving pit fiend's wing behind him, grinning from ear-to-ear; "This is the best fun I've had in over a century!"

And this is the first time Gortash has seen strong positive emotion on the otherwise flat and unemotive Dark Urge and it's... not unattractive (also the numerous dead fiends everywhere. That's very much "not unnatractive." The vestiges fo Young Enver - who was terrified and alone and would've loved having his own monster to defend him from these monsters -is suddenly developing a massive crush somewhere in the back of his mind. He thought it before, but now he definitely wants to have this divine horror at his beck and call.)

Also might incorporate that little quirk Bhaalspawn sometimes have where the divine essence in their blood becomes a homing beacon to all fiends. That's a wonderful trait to have while you're trying to go incognito in the Eighth Hell, in Mephistopheles' own house.

i love the thought of sabo and koala keeping their twin babies' identities hidden by telling a news writer to not reveal their faces, names, and birth date. not only it makes sabo and koala great parents and protects the babies from being killed by the marines and the world government, but it also mentally tortures sabo's piece-of-shit parents

i like to imagine them opening up a page of a newspaper article with a title that says "revolutionary babies have been born!" and then looking at a few images of their son and his wife holding and interacting with the newborn twins at a hospital room. their little faces are blurred and there's zero information on them, except for the sexes they were born with. they try to contact sabo to tell him they want to meet their first-ever grandchildren, but nope. they get no replies. nada. it makes their selfish and evil selves feel angry and upset, because how dare their son hide his children from their grandparents?!

sabo is the goat for refusing to read all of those letters from his horrible parents and making them suffer, because koala and the kids will always come first

Danny with a space and protection obsession.

He died a kid who always wanted to touch the stars,died a kid who last heard screaming as he was fried alive.Protection becamehis main obsessions but his love for space turned into a secondsry one,one that doesnt need to be fulfilled but it would be so much better if it was.

He wants to fly into space,away from all his problems,and lose himself in the star filled void,but he also wants to keep Amity safe.And keeping it safe is a need.He has to fulfill it,he has to.His core aches at the want for two things that cant both be.He cannot get lost in endless galaxies and still protect Amity.

The best he can do is little trips,watching the stars from as high as he dare go,counting them out and floating a little closer each time.

But he never leaves.He cant.Sam and Tucker tell him its okay and he can go into space for a while if he wants to but he cant ,his main obsession needs to be fulfilled or it hurts.It hurts like getting zapped by enough electricity to power fifty electric chairs.

Danny needs one and wants the other so much it aches.

Keros is a student studying on Sur'Kesh! He's very clever and kind of a smart ass, but in a good-natured younger brother sort of way. He's the younger brother of the Dark Star Lounge bartender, who is helping to pay for Keros's education and sends money from the Citadel, so Keros studies extremely hard because he wouldn't want to let his big brother down. They're from Altakiril originally, and they still have one parent there, but their family unit really is the two brothers and going "home" for holiday for Keros really means visiting his brother and his brother's friends on the Citadel.

Keros is blind and has a service animal that comes with him most everywhere. He likes it on Sur'Kesh and thinks he could probably stay there after he graduates, but he also has a hard time thinking about the future and tends to focus just on the next upcoming exam because he gets stressed if he thinks too far ahead. He's ace and aro. He's got a large group of friends, mostly salarians, at his university. He also loves a good prank and loves convincing people that objectively terrible ideas are great ideas, particularly his brother's friends

His Creechur is called The Primarch -- he's a species called a jal'desh, also from Sur'Kesh

Keros and The Primarch are very bonded and they like to cause a bit of chaos, particularly where Keros's older brother Cassius is concerned because Cass is terrified of The Primarch and thinks he's better at hiding it than he is, but I won't say more than that because Primarch deserves his own intro post :-)
