People freaking out about describing men in "feminine" ways. Like. Like can we not? Can we not get mad about a writer describing someone "blushing" as "being flushed." Can we not immediately say this can only be used to describe women in a romantic sense?

Okay, so I am very very very very VERY bad at judging how long one of my fics will be 😬 Here are some examples:

When I started this, my thought was 'this'll probs just be like a 5 chapter drabble series about domesticity' and now we're on chapter 15 lolol

Once upon a time, I planned out a three chapter drabble using one of my OCs and the Avengers as just a fun 'look my baby is meeting superheroes!' and then it turned into a three book series. First book being nearly 400k words

In my original work, I tried to limit myself to only 150k words for book one and I'm tiptoeing toward 200k (which is going to be my absolute nightmare when it comes to editing but we're not gonna think about that right now)

So basically what I'm saying is even if I gave you an actual answer right now the chances are I will be very wrong hahahah. I totally understand wanting to wait until things finish (believe me I've had my share of heartbreak over fics that haven't updated since 2007🥲), but unfortunately any answer I give would be wild and inaccurate. Sorry! But thank you so much for the hugs and I'm glad you like my writing style!!

I see the Doll as a reflection of Maria herself - 'when she is asleep she is awake somewhere else', basically Maria with absent memories + with Gehrman not even knowing a soul of his lost student actually settled here to help him even in her death. But oh boy oh boy does the Doll have a potential as her own character still! Annnnnnnd people fuck that up as well.

I know I brought my own contribution to how that sort of the fans no longer has the credit they used to, but I think this actually started to take an effect after @fantomette22 appeared. Honestly, can we just give that person a round of applause? They appeared in the fandom just recently and started being BASED from the day one, and I feel like they popularised more interesting takes on Maria, Doll and Gehrman. You can thank me for my own takes, sure, but if you want to be thankful for the good influence - I give credit to Fantomette! (They are also waaaaay more nice and polite and sweet than I could ever be, too, so you might like to stick with them for more interesting opinions and analyses!)

Alsoooo here's the thing, Sally doesn't know all the awful shit Barry does. From her perspective he's a sweet, doting, and non-threatening guy that has always thought the world of her, which is why she got with him. It's always been about her and how good it makes her feel. I already said everything in my post about how she treats him.

I'm not saying Barry is an angel by any means. He's a mass murderer at this point. He killed civilians, allies and innocent people by choice. The point of my post isn't to say "Sally bad Barry good", I'm extremely anti that way of thinking. The point of my post was in reply to people that were making posts about how Barry is abusive (he isn't, Sally has been abusive to him).
