We hit 3k followers! I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Seriously, I’m beyond blessed and thankful for every single one of you here! Back in 2021 I posted my first fic on here. Since then it has given me confidence to start posting more and more fics. It went from being a One Piece blog only to now a variety of anime such as Bleach and Tokyo Revengers. I will be happily add more animes in the future! Being able to write for these fandoms and connect with people has been so amazing! I’ve met so many wonderful people here and being able to connect with them and share the same interests and hobbies is something I personally love very much. I consider you all part of my family and part of my coven(blog). I’ve been feeling more at peace with everything going on in my life. I wanted to sincerely thank every single one of you on here for following my blog and enjoying all the content I put out. It makes me want to post more and give you guys something to enjoy! I love you all very much. I'm getting emotional just writing this. But I want you all to know I love you all very much.

@thatbadbruja, I'm sorry that you are going through some emotional frustrations, and I wish I could do more to help...but the best I could do was write this brief comfort scenario with Marco x Fem!Latina!Reader for you (essentially you inserted in this situation, but, y'know what I mean!) I am an artist, first and foresmost, so I can only hope that I did Marco justice with my writing & that this goes to help you feel better sweetheart! Keep your head held high! <3

It was strange to you why there was this bitterness in your chest. You often tried to execute everything to the best of your abilities and support your colleagues, but you cannot help this sinking feeling eating at your heart that maybe you were not doing all you could…or perhaps that others may be taking your genuine kindness for granted. It wasn’t like you to feel this way, as you tried to believe the best in others and had no issue facing confrontation head-on, but something about the personalness in this issue you were facing, pierced your heart. Biting back some tears, despite the painful ball in your throat, you were going to distract yourself with reading some grimoires, before the door to your penthouse apartment unlocked, revealing your concerned husband with a box of your favorite pizza in hand. Working in the same medical office, Marco noticed you seemed under the weather, and coaxed you to take an early leave with concern for your emotional well-being.

“Hey little bird, I got your favorite-yoi,” he says in a tender tone, as you get up to help him put the pizza on the table, while he takes off his shoes and puts away the keys.

Though the painful ball in your throat seems to intensify with his kind gesture, you manage out your best smile, “Gracias mi amor.” But that smile isn’t fooling anyone. No matter how well you mask your anxieties, you and Marco have been through enough ups and downs together, that you both can read one another like an open book.

He looks at the pizza, knowing dinner can wait a little longer, if his wife is not in the mood to enjoy it. He bends down to give you a kiss on the forehead, before taking your hand to guide you to the sofa. You, yourself, know he wants to know what is bothering you so deeply, but you don’t know if you have the ability to even get three words out before breaking down in tears—and you hate burdening him with your insecurities.

However, Marco never minds. He is a doctor. And as your husband, he wants to be able to heal any physical scratches, gashes, and bruises you may have, while regenerating any wounds your heart carries, no matter the time or reason.

“I won’t push you if you’re not ready to tell me, but you can let it all out until you’re better,” he whispers, bringing your head to his chest as he leans you both against the sofa, “But when you’re ready, I wanna know what made my feisty phoenix empress lose her vigor-yoi.”

You break down in his arms then and there, pouring out all your stifled emotions and frustrations. It pained him to see a strong woman, like you, in this state, and the urge to transform into his phoenix form to wrap you in his flaming wings to expel any other struggles was tempting—but he opted to cradle you and caress your hair as you were, as not to freak the neighbors with the volume of his flames, given how much he wanted to shield you from any other negative events the world may throw at you.

You two stay in that embrace until there were no more tears left to cry. Marco was patient with you as you gradually told him what was bothering you, and listened with the genuine intent to help. You found his advice quite helpful at addressing the problem, which shouldn’t come as a surprise, since he was often the level-headed one in his big family. Slowly, you found yourself able to smile again, before noticing his damp tear-stained shirt.

“Oh! I’m so sorry mi rey! I got your shirt all ruined!” you exclaim in half-guilt and embarrassment. However, he caught your wrist before you could run off to get a towel or a new shirt for him.

“It’s ok-yoi,” he assures you with a light laughter in his tone, “no shirt can measure up to your happiness, am I right, little bird? Now that you’re smiling again, let’s make it bigger by seeing if your pizza is still good to eat, or if we need to heat it up-yoi,” he says, picking you up to steal you away to the kitchen. Whether pizza was the only thing you ate that night, was up to how much ‘tender-loving care’ you felt you needed from Marco, but whatever you wanted, he was happy to go along with it. The only people who would know how the night concluded were yourselves, and your below-floor neighbors.

One Piece men with a Latina S/O

me and @thatbadbruja had this idea after a conversation we had, about how our guys would react meeting our families and getting to know our culture (Mexican and Brazilian) ❤

Ace:

Family is very important to Ace, so he’d love being part of your big family and going to the gatherings with you. Drinking with your uncles, brothers and cousins would be something he would do too. They would make him feel loved and at home.

Also, Ace would try all the food. Your grandmother would love it, and would keep filling his plate with every different dish. Bring more of the Menudo (if you’re Mexican), or Feijoada (if you’re Brazilian).

Would try to learn the language, but would end up saying something with a completely different meaning. You’d laugh, but would find it very cute. He’d eventually learn how to say “I love you”, in Spanish or Portuguese. Would 100% start watching telenovelas because he saw your family watching it once.

Izou:

The culture clash would be real. Izou is very traditional, and quiet; so meeting your large family, who is also pretty loud, would make him feel a little out of place, but of course, he’d try his hard to bond with everyone.

When Izou tried the food, he didn’t imagine it’d be that spicy, poor guy needed lots of water after that. Also, he probably wouldn’t drink like your cousins and tios do, but he’d have a few drinks, just to bond. Meanwhile, your tias and grandma would start commenting, saying how they found him very cute, and would comment how polite he is.

I believe Izou would carry an evil eye stone with him all the time, because your family said it was good for protection, and would try all the teas they recommended.

Law:

He’s a very quiet man, and might not look very friendly at first, so your family would assume he was a bit rude. He’d have a hard time actually opening up and talking to everyone, but it’d only be at first. I see Law would like being with your family, they’d make him feel very welcome, inviting him to drink and play cards with them.

The worst part is that, Law is a doctor, so when your grandma mentioned that Vick Vaporub or tea can cure pretty much everything, or that he could have some herb tea if he felt sick, he went on a debate for hours.

Your grandma probably would complain about him in Spanish/Portuguese, saying he might be a doctor but he doesn’t know what older people know.

Marco:

Marco would have a bit of knowledge about the culture, especially after you two started dating. So he’d know the basics, but you’d find very sweet that he was trying to learn so he wouldn’t feel out of place during the family meeting.

When your family offered him Tamales, or Churrasco, he already knew what it was, because again, he researched it. So he went on telling about the story of the dish, and how to make it because he saw the recipe online.

He’s a doctor, but he’s more open minded, so he wouldn’t argue when your tia said that boldo tea can cure his stomach ache in a minute, and he wouldn’t take any medication. Would probably do some research about it later. Would also give medical advices to your tios and tias.

Mihawk:

Now, Mihawk is Latin and you can’t change my mind. So he’d feel like part of the family very quick. Your tias, cousins and grandma would find him very good looking and would keep telling you how you got lucky finding this very handsome man. They’d also probably dance with him, and would win their hearts as soon he said something in Spanish/Portuguese.

The tios wouldn’t be jealous, and keep saying he isn’t that good looking anyway, that it’s only about the mustache. But they’d all drink together anyway.

Being older and very wise, Mihawk would tell you a lot of tales, and explain some traditions that you probably didn’t know about. He’d totally believe that limpia con huevo, or bathing with rock salt could get rid of bad karma, envy and bad energy.

Shanks:

That man wouldn’t be shy when meeting your family, he’d already act as if he was a part of it too. He’d greet everyone and would quickly be friends with the tios and cousins. They’d be drinking partners, and Shanks would be drinking Tequila or Cachaça, and wouldn’t get drunk easily. And he also would learn how to do The Grito, or play Truco with your family.

He’d also want to try everything, from Pozole to Churros, or from Cuscuz to Brigadeiro. Shanks would ask for the recipe, but would say it doesn’t taste as good as your grandma’s food. Then your grandma would love him already.

Would learn Spanish/Portuguese, and would greet your family in that language. Would call you “querida” or “mi amor” all the time after learning what it means. The tias would teach him how to protect himself from el mal de ojo or mal olhado. ღ

• One day, Mihawk was sitting on his own chair reading a book and sipping his favorite wine as usual, while you sat across from him, also reading a book. But the book on your hand was long forgotten when you can't take your gaze away from the man in front of you. Completely entrance by the mere sight of him taking a sip of the crimson liqour from the glass.

• He was caught off guard by you cause he didn't expect for his shy lover to say something like this.

• You can see that statement in two ways; the innocent way and the suggestive way. Hearing your tone and you staring at his lips with the slight blush on your cheek, he knew it was the latter.

• Realizing you've just said that loud and seeing his slightly widened eyes staring back at you. Your face flushed and you immedietly directed your gaze to the book you were previously reading.

• Composing himself, a smirk found its way to the corner of his d̶e̶l̶i̶c̶i̶o̶u̶s̶ lips. Closing the book and placing it to the table along with the glass of wine, you could practically feel his intense gaze making you squirm underneath it.

• Your heart sped up when you heard him stand up from his sit and the sound of his footstep heading towards you.

• "Hm. Is that so? I'm kinda curious what method you had in mind, Mi Amor." He whispered in your ear with a deep voice that make your knees weak and pushing down the book from your hands to your lap, the blush on your cheek intensified.

• Amused by your reaction just by his mere deep voice, he tilt your chin up with his pointer finger and thumb gaining eye contact with you for a few seconds before his gaze travel down to your slightly parted plump lips, his smirk widened before pulling you into a heated kiss. (0////0)

ᴍᴀʀᴄᴏ

• Another stoic personjhst like mihawk.

• It was just a normal day at the Moby Dick where nothing much is happening. That, until you became the next victim of Ace nd Thatch prank ideas.

• The deal was for you to fluster your lover a.k.a Marco with flirty comments the best way you can. You knew you shouldn't have agree to this but, what can you do? They held your room food hostage, they even pulled the 'you owe me'card which leaves you no choice.

• Sighing, you reluctantly agreed and thus Ace and Thatch shared a shit eating grin before dragging you towards the deck where Marco is located holding a clipboard managing his division for the day.

• You didn't even have the time to compose yourself and think of a plan when they both push you towards your lover. The rush made your mind go blank by the time you walked up to him, while the two hid at the corner of the corridor, waiting what kind of reaction will you make the First commander have?

• You were sweating deep inside the moment he asked you if you need something with a charming smile. Not knowing what to say or do, you suddenly thought of the scene you once read on a book.

• Mustering up the confidence, you walk closer to him with a sly smile and a bit sway of your hips.

Composing himself, he covered his face with the clipboard he had on his other hand hiding his red face, clearly not expecting for you to be so bold.

• Change of plans, oh he'll definitely make you scream his name tonight, but after dealing with the two idiots who can't stop snickering at the corner of the corridor.
