Actually now that I read ALL SEVEN BOOKS Maggie Stiefwater wrote about the raven dudes, here are my final notes:

This is probably a good YA to read but it's not like, life changing literature as some people made it seem. It's sometimes a good read, sometimes Very good, but just as often as frustrating as any YA is.

Maggie Stiefwater is physically incapable of writing a coherent ending to her stories and when she reaches the last book, she should just hand the whole plot back to someone who writes better than her because Dear God, both the Raven King and Greywaren are shit endings to an otherwise really good story.

On the same note, the way Gansey and Blue were completely written out of the dreamer trilogy makes everything you've seen in the previous cycle feel A Bit Useless and less powerful as a reflection.

I feel like too many of the magical matters in All the books feel too half assed to be important. This includes Ronan turning out to be the antichrist

NATHAN FAROOQ-LANE BEING THE SECRET BIG BAD RUINED THE ENTIRE PLOT OF GREYWAREN FOR ME I'M SORRY THAT WAS SO SHIT AND THE WAY HIS BIG PLAN WAS SOLVED WAS EVEN STUPIDER DEAR GOD

In this LGBT trilogy one of the only big character deaths is a (albeit boring) lesbian, because of course she is.

Hennessy holds the entire dreamer trilogy on her back, the same way Adam held all of the raven cycle on his
