Some of C.ars 2 deleted scenes are some of the funniest things I've ever been exposed to. I defiantly don't have a bias in saying that, nope, totally not.
And everytime I rewatch them I never fail to completely lose my marbles laughing at how they draw F.inn. He's like two steps away from being a smug ":3"
I'm too lazy to dig through my infinite gallery for more examples photos of it but..have this one for now...
Bonus last two images.
This has also reminded me of the whole Sombrero scene which I'm surprised I forgot about it cause I used to quote that scene so much, never made me fail to laugh. And like just plain laugh, it was always a losing my mind and rolling off my bed laughing.

can we hear the lyra lore 🥺🥺🥺 pls
omg bestie.... i'm still actively working it out which is why i keep talking about journaling but bare bones.... she's the only child of a powerful elf family in baldur's gate, her mother is a mystery to her and her father is in Money, she's always been weird and withdrawn but like. a Dreamer in some sense.... she learns archery early and spends a lot of time alone. i don't think she's ever particularly happy or emotive but she enjoys exploring (and she's terribly vain... wants to look just like her mother). then she gets a baby sister and dotes on her to the point where she's basically raising her alone in kind of an obsessive way. when her sister is young, things start to get weird with her parents, they're gone more and more, and when they're home they're.... strange. but they want for nothing, and lyra and her sister are happy and inseparable (i'm still deciding on her name). when her sister is 20ish she's murdered, and through some set of circumstances i haven't fleshed out yet, lyra figures out it was her parents, as a sacrifice to bhaal. she kills both her parents and burns down their entire house for good measure, both so that there is no trace but also for herself.
i think she spends the next 40-50 years alone, basically doing bounty hunter work for money and drifting along. she only speaks when necessary, becomes ruthlessly pragmatic and essentially uninterested in the general population. she's basically turned off everything except her Life Functions. she gets a reputation in the lower city as the Ghost and people leave her alone because she minds her own business unless provoked or on a job (and sometimes the kids will manage to get gifts from her... they learn to read her body language and approach on good days). she keeps her rich clothes and facepaints and always looks immaculate (when you look both dead and rich, no one gets close). i think she also sometimes lets herself be bought when she's bored but if she ever ends up genuinely vulnerable or lets anything personal slip to a patron, she kills them. i think probably she's looking for something/someone to make her come back to life but she doesn't know that's what she's doing..... like being so hungry you can't feel it anymore. she's not evil and she's not robotic she's just kind of in an emotional coma, she's not even really seeking revenge bc she knows it won't bring her sister back and she can't bring herself to care enough.
i want to flesh out more of who she was before the murder but i'm waiting for her to tell me lol.
but yes, this is why she is such a freak with astarion + the party, but this post is long enough skdjfghjfkdsl canon timeline lore is insane in a different way but who doesn't want to be murdertwins with a random traumatized vamp you stumble upon, yknow.

not to keep vagueposting about animal welfare discourse, but i happened to run into one of the blogs that was shitting on scout for their cow husbandry and the shit they were saying was so fucking stupid...it was something along the lines of 'rabbits aren't social animals because their wild ancestors have a social group set entirely by mating/the HRS tries to force you to bond rabbits unnecessarily and is a peta-affiliated organization/its unnecessary to spay female rabbits because the 85% association between uterine cancer and not spaying is only supported by two studies', all of which may make sense for breeding rabbits is complete and utter bullshit when dealing with pet rabbits.
Rabbits are indeed social animals that grow anxious when alone and should have SOME form of companionship most hours of the day. This does not have to be another rabbit, and the urging to establish a bonded pair is typically done for people who are OUT OF THE HOUSE most of the day. HRS and shelters don't 'force' pairings, they encourage them because having someone around 24/7 isnt always viable in American households. When I tried to get Celeste bonded because I was worried about her welfare (this was when I was 14 and new to rabbits), both the HRS and shelters talked us out of it because she very clearly did not care about other buns, and didn't need to be bonded because there was always someone around them. But if you're a singular person who's away from home most of the time, then yes you need some sort of partner animal because it reduces stress in your rabbit.
Those social structures are ofc going to be different if you have unfixed breeding animals, but the core aspect of it is still the same. Rabbits are social animals. They are comforted by the presence of others around them, form bonds with other rabbits, and feel more secure in groups. Just because they are more territorial when unfixed (as they should!) doesn't reduce the fact that they are social prey animals, it just means that you need to keep them in different conditions than you would a fixed creature with less hormonal urges
The HRS is not aligned with PETA. They denounce affiliations with meat breeders because they're entirely based on improving the welfare of rabbits that are kept as pets. I can see why some might feel offended on their stance against meat rabbits, but rabbits are still primarily viewed as livestock, and after hearing enough comments about people wanting to eat my rabbit, I can understand why they'd be so clear on it. People are assholes about pets that are commonly viewed as feeder animals.
There is indeed a high risk associated between UNBRED unspayed female rabbits and uterine cancer. This is supported by several studies on animals with similar breeding lifestyles by multiple veterinary institutions. You won't notice it in your breeding females because the risk is SPECIFICALLY for unbred animals, aka most pets. So yes, spaying is necessary for your doe's health if you do not intend to regularly breed or have stopped regularly breeding
Even if there wasn't a very real danger to their health, you'd still need to get them fixed to reduce behavioral problems. Unfixed rabbits are much more territorial, destructive, and aggressive, making them more difficult to keep in a home environment. They will growl, they will lunge and bite (and rabbit bites are not something you want to fuck with- I have scars from Celeste's nips), they will piss and shit to mark their territory and it WILL be pungent and unsanitary even if they are litterbox trained. They can still be cuddly with you, sure, that won't reduce their value as pets, but a perpetually sexually frustrated and territorial animal is not fun to deal with and is arguably unethical for the rabbit. If you want a pet rabbit, you need to get them spayed. And I say this from personal experience- Celeste wasn't spayed when we got her, but after she did get spayed, she became much more manageable and less likely to bite. She was still manageable beforehand, but afterwards she was a hell of a lot more relaxed and not stressed
There's nothing wrong with having significantly different husbandry because you are a meat/fur breeder; unfixed animals have different temperaments, different needs, and are typically kept in different conditions that are more economically and behaviorally suited to turning a profit. But those care requirements change drastically when you have only one to two fixed animals in a home environment, which means that you cannot pass judgement on pet care requirements when you're a meat breeder, and visa versa.

mischa bachinski from rtc is literally so lovely and the dichotomy of his rage and passion is my fav part of the show honestly!!! there's kind of a gap in interpretation of the "passion" part of his character and that is so interesting to me [in this essay i will...] -- amongst other things !!
dichotomies and interpretations and why i love gus halper
as u probably likely very much know, the whole point of his character is that he's a guy whose life has sucked thus far, and he believes that as a ukrainian man he should experience two emotions--rage and passion ! (hes so great)
with the rage it's like "oh he's so full of hurt and closes himself off like a wild animal because he's been surrounded by pain and loneliness and rejection for like. forever!!!" and that's so simple to understand and play bc like. who hasn't been there??? and it leads to silly stuff like autotune and the mustard seeds part of his monologue, but it also emphasizes such a core component of the human experience, anger and hurt, allowing for personalization of his character and making him super fun to play as a dude who acts all gangster bc he doesn't want ppl knowing he's so so empty and lonely.
on the contrary, the passion side of his character is .. less straightforward . i've really seen 2 big interpretations of it, and i very much prefer and have a bias towards the latter lololol !! the first one is passion in the sense of deep desire and joy, overwhelming love for the object of this emotion (this being talia) .. a lot of mischa's actors act out his monologue at the start of talia to be him so overjoyed to be in a relationship w his natalia muruska bolinska. he's so happy and just loves his fiancée so much !!!! and it's adorable !!!!!! and i think part of this is the fact that they're directly playing into the dichotomy of rage and passion. rage is anger so strong it hurts you, what is the opposite but a happiness that heals the wounds left by your fury? he's exhilarated with joy just thinking about her !!
however, my fav interpretation of his passion is vulnerability and emotion so strong you feel it through every nerve in your body. "i can't hold enough of u in my hands," sorta thing. rather than happiness, i love when mischa's actors play him to be super emotional during his monologue. his love and joy isn't the dominating emotion, he's full of yearning and is actively coming to realize that there's a very good chance that he's never going to see the love of his life. never going to meet her or hold her hands. and we hear that as he breaks more and more thoughout !! i LOVE how gus halper plays him because he makes mischa break down into tears (or at least do a very poor job of holding back) fantasizing about his wedding to talia, rather than talk excitedly. the object of his passion is breaking down the walls of his rage and filling the void of his heart with the love he hasn't gotten from the cruelty of the world, but it will never truly happen, and he's realizing he's talking about what could have been. every time gus's mischa has the time to think about her by himself (think: him at the end of tsia, between songs, his monologue, etc.) he's always so vulnerable and emotional !! plus, let's be real, he is SO dramatic and emotional (literally me) just in general LMAO
my gangsta persona is just armor to conceal that i am naked child wandering through the wilderness, holding in my hands my wounded, fragile heart!!
adding on, another aspect of this vulnerability that i adore is the different ways in which it manifests and plays out. his catchphrase is the first time his walls break independently ("independently" because u could say he's pretty damn vulnerable in the opener LOL) and it can really be seen in 2 different lights. the first is more obvious; clearly it's comedic and it's to remove any status of "guy i'd be scared of" whilst simultaneously introducing his passion. however, if it is to be taken literally as his catchphrase, this opens so many doors. to whom is he saying this? and imo it can be both a thought to himself and him expressing himself to the object of his passion, talia !!
mischa is .. lonely. before the choir, who does he have on his side but his youtube subs and the hole in his heart left by his mother's absence? who does he have to talk to?? his "gangsta persona" developed upon his move to canada, upon meeting his new excuses for parents, upon realizing there was no one left for him. i think that before meeting natalia but while he was turning to rap, he would just have to talk to himself to let out these feelings (let's be real . he was too lazy for journaling). as he realized the persona was just a mask, he would begin to say his catchphrase to himself.
furthermore on him saying it to himself, it does sound weird and strange and everything because he doesn't really talk like that ! But! mischa is capable of being so eloquent and using really poetic speech to describe stuff throughout the show, why wouldn't this kind of expression come into play when he's at his loneliest? who is he afraid of judging him ? think of his words to noel during the birthday scene. he uses the phrase "moving poignance" as he's more open with noel ! he is so capable of talking to himself with metaphorical comparison !!!!!
to elaborate on the idea of him only also saying his catchphrase to talia, we have to return to the concept of talia being the object of his passion [i use that phrase a lot. my bad LMOA]. remember that talia is the stars in his sky, the fire warming his heart, the blanket of safety surrounding him upon years of cold cruelty. once he has her, he doesn't have to express himself on his own !! u have to keep in mind that before death, talia was the only person mischa felt really safe around. comedic effect aside, i do love to believe that that was his actual catchphrase and he used it regularly in his life. i also love mischa bachinski
all done!!!
i love the dichotomies and nuances of his character so much, especially in his two songs with one being a banger and the other being so beautiful it gives me chills (despite gus's mic being SO quiet😭)!! mischa bachinski is such a sweet and dorky character and these are just small thoughts i have abt him -- i'm deeply in love with and believe me i could go on and on and on !! but thank u for reading if u did :] !

not reblogging cause this is that white girl that caused all that discourse around the sayhername hash tag, but I wanted to make a response. like obviously she ra and su are for kids but if you're gonna tackle heavy subjects like war and colonialism which all these shows do explicitly, it's a little jarring when the end result is...singing songs and open arms. Like atla had a lotta problems in regards to the narrative views of actions by victims of said colonialism (hama, jet, etc.) But at least in the end ozai was unquestionably the bad guy and treated as such. aang didn't kill him but he was in the end dethroned and imprisoned for his numerous war crimes (high key iroh should've been too, but that would've required an entire story rewrite). In su, the diamonds killed their own kind for eons and even planned to destroy earth. Blue Diamond had a human zoo and this was supposed to be seen as 'cute'. They were literally called Zoomans! Like no Steven himself shouldn't have shattered the diamonds cause no kid should have blood on their hands but idk why in the entire episode of Bismuth's introduction we were suppose to be scared of her and view her as incorrect when the Diamonds literally killed all of her comrades save for the crystal gems. like the diamonds were reformed and now use their powers for 'good' but whose to say that can't change.
