i just saw the marvels and, mutuals im apologizing now for the woman im about to become. i'm going to start using the tag "mcu spam" so you can block that if you want to. my gushing and spoilers are going to be under a readmore.

OH THANK GOD IT WAS GOOD. like yeah i was going to be obsessed with it. obviously. My fucking HUSBAND!!!!! WAS IN IT!!!!!! (for like 30 seconds at the after credit scene.) BUT THANK CHRIST IT WAS GOOD.

first, my coherent-ish thoughts on the movie:

like ok it wasnt high class cinema. it's a marvel movie. but it was still really sweet!!

kamala is still the absolute sweetest kid. ofc she's going to be the heart of their little team-up. and i'm so happy her family was in the movie too. It was such a crucial part of her show, it'd be such a shame if they just totally neglected them. (i mean they weren't like Main Characters but they were still present in general which is nice!) iman vellani absolutely crushed it-- i hope she had fun on set, because it looked like she was having a blast!!

monica's characterization was wonderful too, i loved how her character has stayed consistent from wandavision! (her instincts to de-escalate conflicts is present, thats such a compelling trait for a hero to have.) and her meeting binary at the end broke my heart! Q_Q whatever they're paying teyonah parris isn't enough, the way her voice broke when she was crying made me misty eyed.

and captain marvel!!! i really feel like they put a lot more work into making her feel more like a character this time around. dgmw, i loved captain marvel. but i really feel like they took the time to flesh out her character a lot more this time around! ok frothing at the mouth time:

my irl husband spoiled it for me, which honestly good call I would have Caused A Ruckus if I saw that raw in the movie theater.

HES!!!! HERE!!!! AND SO PRETTY... NO CLOSED TOE SHOES. CROPPED PANTS. NO SHIRT HIS BIG HAIRY NATURALS. my husband is HERE and he is NOT following lab protocols.

HE LOOKS SO FUCKING CUTE OMG???? his TEEFS!!!!! HIS TEEFIES!!! and his HAIR!!!!! it looks so soft i want to rip wallpaper with my teeth! AND THE hands. his fucking hands. he's got his sharp little CLAWS, HOOWEE.

kelsey grammar did a phenomenal job with the voice acting, as to be expected. like. yeah, it does stink that he didn't get blue'd for the cameo but STILL. "confusion is but the first step on the journey to knowledge."

the short answer is i don't ship obi-wan or anakin with other people.

the long answer is i've tried to get into various other ships, even just ships that are them and someone else added, and I couldn't really do it because I kept thinking about where obi-wan was or where anakin was or what it would take for them to get together 🙈 i 100% support every ship in the star wars fandom and i see them all the time on my dash so we're not talking like blacklisting content or anything, i just don't interact much with it because my favorite version of obikin is the one where they're too entangled and mutually obsessed with each other to have any romantic love left to give anyone else

Thoughts on Iruka discourse yesterday lets go

First of all dont take this seriously because this a shitty website, not college. Second of all forgive my Indonesian ass if i made stupid grammar mistakes and only mutuals can correct me. Third of all i dont generalize everyone but if you’re offended-- maybe you have to check yourself

Okay so, everyone is surprised (myself included) why shitheads suddenly hate Iruka. I’m trying to answer myself from observations and its quite simple really

Either from 1) jealousy, or 2) Racism

Eveeeery post about how trash Iruka is came from jealousy. He’s a great dude, and yes. A side character. And yes people love him and he’s popular and people make content for him and ship him. And its fucking okay? Like if you really read or watch canon Naruto and not fillers, you know he’s the least problematic character out there since chapter one

The comments about Iruka that i read here on tumblr or twitter is about how Iruka is... Overrated? Which is... doesnt make sense because he has never been popular on tumblr or twitter since idk 2018? 2016? Maybe? But real fans know he always won most 10 popular characters in Japan and loved by everyone and it has never been a problem,,, 'till now i guess

I’m not talking about kakagaiyamaobi rn because they hate his very existence without reading or watching Naruto at all. I’m talking the kind of jealousy dudebros have toward Iruka since Jiraiya or Kakashi didnt get Naruto’s father title.

Like, people get confused with parental and mentor figure when their thought process revolve around who can beat who,,, and Hinata’s vs Sakura’s boobs. Thats all what they’re talking about really. You can find them mostly on twitter or instagram

And yesterday i found out (this is new, even from me) here on tunglr dot com that people hate Iruka because he’s popular than Chouji! Really!! This is mind blowing because there’s like... no correlation between them.. at all... They’re both nice characters but they rarely interact? People really out there comparing Iruka... and Chouji. Amazing

I dont want to say who’s better than who in this case.. So some Chouji stans hate Iruka because (in their logic) he’s a side character who gets popular than Chouji (who is a main character), because Chouji is a fat character and people are way more inclined to stan skinnier character (in this case, Iruka) when both of them care deeply for Naruto

That’s why you will always see these comments about Shikamaru & Chouji vs Iruka like,,, its stupid and petty but there it is. And I just knew about this yesterday.

(If any Chouji fans reading this, know that we dont hate Chouji at all.. People, especially POC, adore Iruka because we hardly have any representation.. Especially dark skinned Asian)

Alright now we’re talking about the kakagaiyamaobi or whoever the fuck. It’s pure jealousy at this point. Like they’ll take whatever Iruka hate post out there out of it context and make it all about their dear, depressed, Kakashi.

EVEN if the hate post about Iruka doesnt talk about his relationship with Kakashi, they’ll find a WAY. CHECK TAGS these people are crazy lmao. You’ll see...

These shitheads will always find a way of comparing or relating Iruka with Kakashi, Yamato, Gai, or even Obito. Not in a "oh Iruka skills are blablabla so he can beat A, B, or C" in a dudebros way. Its always about how Iruka isn't good enough for Kakashi? Like seriously. I've seen kakagai called him a trash character for being not good enough for Kakashi or because kakairu is popular? Thats jealousy babe!

They said Gai would help Kakashi took care of Naruto. Or when someone suddenly said that Iruka doesnt understand Kakashi's depression and obsession with his dead teammates. Or how Yamato did better of taking care of Naruto than Iruka. In the end it always revolves around Iruka’s relationship with Kakashi and i want to rip my hair off because GOD its so childish you’re 23!!! Mind your own bussiness god

It sucks because i'm cool with Yamato, Gai, or Obito but shitheads always talk about them when it comes to who cares/fucks Kakashi here on tumblr and hardly about their potential or jutsus... And suddenly Iruka is a bad character because "hey! People love him and start shipping him with Kakashi when these three are here!!"

"You know what would make people stop shipping him with Kakashi? Reminding people that he’s a side character and making Iruka as an abusive asshole who doesnt care about Naruto!"

And the last one, racism.

"He's a dark skinned East Asian man who are very caring and kind and loves kid. We hate that about him. Anyone in this shounen manga can punch kids but when it comes to Iruka scolding Naruto its not fucking allowed."

Can y’all like,, stop being a weirdo? Who’s fault is it that Iruka has more content and love when all you do is copying each other bitching post? I feel sorry for you

1. What got you into Stray Kids?

i watched helevator the day it came out and decided right then and there i had to stan them. so i watched the show and here i am

2. What’s your favourite colour? 

burgundy

3. Who would you want as your best friend in Stray Kids? 

Felix probably but I aslo feel like jisung would be a great best friend. chan would be a great older brother and jeongin would be a good younger brother (even tho i just found out hes older than me rip)

4. Are you in any other fandoms? 

ya my ult is seventeen and I also rly like some other groups. im actually more into khiphop than kpop so I stan tons of those artists. other than music im in the brooklyn nine nine fandom (if you scroll down enough to my blog circa spring you’ll see how much of a b99 stan I am) and some other random fandoms

5. What has been your favourite performance on the show so far? 

ill never get over helevator tbh and every runners high performance has been beautiful. also i’m liking yayaya and the choreo was so good

7. If you could visit any country, where would you go? 

id rly like to go to Japan and Sweden. Also this summer I went to Iceland for only a day but id gladly spend my whole summer in that country just hiking. fun fact i love hiking

if you havent had polish fruit pierogi you’re missing out. i have them every christmas dinner its the best. my mom makes them with borscht its lit. all polish food is 11/10 recommend tbh

1, Who is the early bird/Who is the night owl?

Josie is definitely the early bird. When she wakse up Vel usually wakes up with her and the goes back to sleep straight away. Vel isn’t really a night owl but she usually goes to bed later than Josie, but thats because shes used to getting as much out of the day as she possibly can

3, who hogs the cover/Who loves to cuddle?

Vel hogs the covers but unintentionally because oh her size. She needs way more covers than Josephine and if she rolls she pulls the whole duvet with her. And as for cuddling they both love it so much. They fit together really well and they love being close enough to cuddle

8, Who sleeps in their underwear(or naked)/Who sleeps in their pajamas?

Vel is underwear and naked. Its a sort of half and half on which she wears to bed, but in antiva she sleeps naked a lot more because of the heat. Josie is the underwear, but occasionally she’ll sleep nude with Vel.

19, who loves to call the other cute names?

While Josephine has her pet names for Vel, Vel has qunlat, Elven and common tongue, all three of which she speaks on a daily basis, so she uses cute names for Joesphine a lot more

21, Who has an obsession(over anything)?

Vel has an obsession with little cakes. She would kill if anyone stole one of her favourite frilly little orleasian lemon cakes.

25, Who wears the other ones clothes?

It’s physically impossible for Vel to wear 90% of Josephine’s wardrobe, and what little she can wera barely fits her or ends up ripping because of the stress of trying to cover the mountain of gay that is Vel, but Josephine is on the lucky end of the spectrum where all of Vel’s clothes will fit if they’re wrapped or tied up the right way. Her favourites are her huge blanket-like sweaters, her qunari-wrap-things(I have no clue what they’re called) and her shirts which are almost like night shirts and are nice and breezy so she can wear them around in the morning

38, Who likes to stargaze?

Josephine is the stargazer. Vel was never much interestsed in the constellations, but Josephine adores them. She also learned how to navigate witht he stars because she always hoped one day the Montilyets would have their fleets back and that she could be aboard the first of the ships

Cadeel and Leliana

4, who wakes the other one up with kisses?

Leliana is usually the culprit, but Cadeel sometimes wakes her up with kisses in places that should only be kissed while in private

11, Who likes horror movies/Who likes romance movies?

They love both equally, but thats because when they watch horror movies they either get to watch really cheesy scares and laugh or they get to be scared shitless together, and romance movies they usually watch the laughably bad and cheesy ones as well, but once in a blue moon they find a nice one and gwt to relax and actually enjoy it

20, who is dominant/submissive?

Cadeel starts off as the dominant of the two but is quickly switched to the submissive because Lelaian is stronger than her. Though they do switch it up depending on their moods

27, Who takes a log shower/Who sings in the shower?

Leliana takes showers that are three or four times longer than Cadeel’s, so she usuallly gets fed up with waiting and hops in with her, cleans herself and then hops out and Leliana is still going away at washing herself. But they both sing in the shower. Cadeel sings one song ususally so shes there for maybe a three minute shower? But Leliana sings a whole album. And sometimes when Cadeel gets in they sing together, but after Leliana slipped and sprained her wrist and her foot they had a “No dancing in the shower” rule

34, Who would wear “if lost return to…” t-shirt/Who would wear “I am..’ t-shirt?

Cadeel wears her “If lost return to Leliana” t-shirt with pride, and Leliana wears her “I am Leliana” t-shirt with a little bit less pride because she has actually been returned to her. Isabela(who I hc as being 6′1) has a “how did you lose me?” shirt to match her wives

46, Who has the longer food order?

Cadel has a waaaay longer food order. Not only has she got the warden appetite but she can really put it away and she can go ages without eating but when she finally does stop for food she becomes a near bottomless pit

Ciara and Liara

2, Who is the big spoon/Who is the little spoon?

Ciara is usually the little spoon. She much prefers have Liara around her so she has something to hold on to and she feels genuinely safer if she can feel her breathing behind or beside her

10, Who like sweet/Who likes sour?

Neither like sour, bu they do like bitter, which is usually in the form of the nerve damagingly strong coffee Ciara makes in the mornings, and they both love sweet things, which is the tea Ciara makes with three or four spoons of sugar or their mutual love of ice cream and chocolate

16, Who is scared of thunderstorms?

Ciara isnt scared but after ME3 she’s affected by loud sudden noises very differently. She jumps more but its reflex rather than fear, but she still stays up to watch the lighting. Before the end of ME3 however she would be completly unaffected ny thunder

18, Who is a cat person/Who is a dog person?

I always imagined Liara would be a bit of both, but Ciara is primarily a dog person. She’s got nothing against cats, its just that she hasnt had much experience with them and she had a border collie when she was a kid so she grew up around a dog

21, Who has an obsession (over anything)?

Ciara has an obsession with Ghostbusters. They’re her all time favourite movies, she constantly wears a ghostbusters tee and she watches both of the movies a least twice year. Liara doesn’t particularly love them but she has no problem sitting and watching them with Ciara because she loves seeing how happy they make her and seeing her mouth out the lines to her favourite scenes. And wen she was a kid she got a size of her mam’s ghostbusters shirt(where she got her love of it) and declared she’d wear it until the day she died. She got to two and a half days before it started smelling and her mam and dad had to wrestle her out of it

33, Who would wear “not guilty’ t-shirt/Who would wear “sin” t-shirt?

Ciara is in the “not guilty” and Liara is in “sin”, but they would swap regularly because Liara always steals Ciara’s clothes

36, Who is the social media addict?

Neither actualy. They dont go near social media very much. Theres no real reason, they just do withoiyt it mostly. They post pictures occasionally but beyond that? Nothing
