so basically heres a quick little cap collection just of some of raph not getting social cues or reading tones etc

01. minotaur maze, calls leo out on being up to something only because of the use of the word “indubitably” (bonus: so into behavior pattern/routine that even though leo admits outright that he lied to get them to do the maze, raph just continues having half an argument like leo denied it)

02. mrs cuddles, raph is fully wholly completely unaware of the suspicious pre-prank energy his brothers and april are giving with their faces, actions, and tones of voice. like he fully 100% does not suspect a thing

03. stuck on you, raph does not pick up on the fact that his brothers are CLEARLY only saying that the teamwork ball they complained about all episode ~really did make them a better team and they wanna get back together~ to make him feel better bc he was sad it got wrecked

04. shadow of evil, does not pick up on or suspect ANYTHING about the weird-ass energy of the mutually-lying-and-hiding-something exchange they had with splinter. look at him. he is in the middle of being like “we nailed it i can’t believe he fell for that”. i love him.

05. mutant menace, raph is VERY ANGERY that people were unable to tell that the note they left with their ‘good deeds’ was using THE JUST-KIDDING QUOTES AND JUST-KIDDING WINKY FACE!!!! this whole ep could make a case for his autism swag, it’s so.... he is understanding many things in a way that makes a ton of sense to him that is largely not understood by others

06. the ancient art of ninja hide and seek, where raph spends almost the entire mission taking “stick to the shadows” as literally and face-value as turtle-ly possible and thinks he is absolutely nailing it.

07. snow day, (or lbr any other time he interacts w ghost bear) just. so so so excited about his favorite wrestler... very much having that override the fact that ghost bear is clearly not about this

08. raph’s ridealong, goes through the entire process of getting mistaken for a criminal, freaking out a whole police station, getting apprehended and thrown into the back of the wagon, without clocking any of that energy (bc he is so excited to do a cool activity related to his extreme interest in crimefighting/justice)

and like thats just the stuff i found idly browsing through caps i bet theres a ton of other examples on the social front alone, let alone stuff like stims, special interests, behavior patterns, etc.

Two Lines, Two Idiots Chapter Three: An Odd Alliance

Summary: You and Rafe talk things out and JJ and John B realize something.

Rafe showing up at the chateau is the last thing you expected, and probably the worst thing he could've done. 

The sentiment isn't lost on you, but it's been less than ten minutes since JJ found out the truth. Even though he made a promise, you have to admit it's tempting when Rafe just offered himself up on a silver platter. 

"You son of a bitch!"

You know your brother better than anyone, which is exactly why your hand flies out to stop him before he can even lunge. Your back is turned, but you know you were right when you feel his chest slam into your forearm. 

"Okay, I think we should step aside."

It's less of a suggestion and more of an instruction as you glare at your brother, and Rafe lets you lead the way. 

You start toward the chateau and don't stop until you're seated on the bed in the guest room, far away from prying eyes and ears. 

You stare up at the man expectantly, your arms crossed over your chest as if it'll protect your heart from further damage.

Rafe is the perfect image of anxiety as he paces the room gnawing on his lip until you're sure it's going to bleed. His hands fidget as he plays with the ring on his forefinger, and you swear you can see the faint beginnings of sweat on his forehead. 

He practiced in his head the whole way over, but being in front of you now it all seems to be slipping his mind. He has so much to say, yet no words to express it. 

This is the side of Rafe no one sees; even you've only experienced it one other time after he had a fight with Ward. 

It's part of why you kept sleeping with him; he's so human like this. It becomes painfully obvious once the armor comes off that deep down Rafe is traumatized and longing for someone to understand him. 

To love him and choose him. 

Under the snarky cruelty, he's just a person. It's not that Rafe can't be vulnerable or show his emotions; it's that he's afraid to. 

For as long as he could talk he's had it drilled into his head that 'Cameron's don't cry' and that one day he'll be the man of the family. He had so much put on him at such a young age, it's no wonder he crumbled under the pressure. 

The forgotten child that can never seek guidance, but is punished and ridiculed when they make the wrong choice. 

You wait patiently for him to calm down, but when he doesn't, your hand reaches out and grabs his. He halts his movements, his eyes fluttering closed as your calmness seems to transfer to him. 

His panic starts to subside and unbeknownst to both of you, his heartbeat slowly syncs with yours. He just breathes for a moment before kneeling in front of you. 

Seeing Rafe open up willingly is something you would never expect, but apparently finding out you're having a child changes you in an instant. 

He isn't sure what he wants, but he's dead set on what he doesn't want. He doesn't want his kid to grow up fatherless and asking questions. 

He doesn't want you to go through this alone and he doesn't want to try and sleep at night not knowing every little thing about how your pregnancy is going. 

He doesn't want to be left wondering; forced to imagine what his son or daughter is like as he pretends they don't exist. 

"I'm sorry I left earlier. I freaked out and I didn't want to snap at you." 

His voice is so gentle it makes your head spin, and your hand reaches up to caress his now stubbled cheek in an admittedly intimate gesture. 

"It's okay. I kind of dropped it on you. I'd rather you walk away and cool off than start a fight. Just tell me that next time."

He nods his head and passes over your use of the phrase next time. He hopes this doesn't happen again; he hates the idea of walking away from you no matter the circumstances.

"I took some time to think, and I want you to know I'm here. I don't know what we are or what you want us to be, but we can figure it out as we go. I want to be around for every single thing, whether it's holding your hair back or going out to get you food ten times in one night."

You mull over his confession and swallow the lump in your throat. Your silence seems to last forever and Rafe gets more nervous with every second. 

You could easily tell him to fuck off and he couldn't do a damn thing about it except try to change your mind. Something in him knows you wouldn't do that though. 

"Okay. You can be as involved as you want and we can see where the relationship goes. But Rafe, once you decide you're all in you can't back out. I'm not doing the one foot in one foot out bullshit. So are you sure?"

He doesn't hesitate before answering, his head turning to press a kiss to your palm.

"I'm sure. I'm 100% all in."

The smile you give him is blinding and you nod your head. 

"Okay then."

He leans forward and presses a sweet kiss to your lips before pulling back with wide eyes. 

"Shit, I'm sorry. I've just gotten so used to-"

You cut him off with a giggle and give him a peck. 

"It's okay, Rafe. I don't mind."

You see him visibly relax at your reassurance and grab his hand before standing. You can practically feel the nerves rolling off him in waves as you lead him back to the group, your brother and John B leaping to their feet as soon as they see you. 

"Down, boys. We talked it out, everything is fine. He's going to be involved as much as he can."

JJ eyes Rafe suspiciously, his gaze scrutinizing every inch of his body as it travels all the way down to his feet and back up.

"So are you two together or what?" 

You look at Rafe before turning to John B and shrugging your shoulders. 

"Or what. We're figuring it out as we go."

He doesn't mention the fact your hands are laced together, or the pure adoration in Rafe's eyes as they stay glued to your figure. 

"If you even think about hurting her-"

Rafe cuts JJ off with a curt nod and clears his throat. 

"I'm dead, I get it. Trust me, bro, that's one thing you and I see eye to eye on."

JJ's lip quirks for a fraction of a second, and you know that everything is going to be okay. You make your way over to your original seat, JJ and Rafe taking their places on either side of you. Rafe figures he might as well get acquainted seeing as he's tied to the group for the rest of his life now. 

"So," Sarah starts, and everyone adjusts to face her. 

"Have you been to the doctor yet?"

You shake your head and your eyes flit to look at Rafe, a relieved expression blanketing his face. 

"No, I just found out today. I haven't had a chance to make an appointment."

Rafe squeezes your hand and brings it to his mouth, pressing a featherlight kiss to your knuckles. 

"We can call tomorrow. I want to be there."

JJ and John B share a look at the sweet gesture, taken aback at how domestic Rafe is acting. They've seen him around with a lot of women, and not once has he ever shown any form of affection. 

It doesn't go unnoticed the way you lean into his touch, the same sparkle in your eyes when you look at Rafe that he has when looking at you. They silently wonder if the two of you know, but the way your eyes quickly avert when you catch either staring tells them you don't. 

JJ can't stop himself from asking the question everyone is thinking, his curiosity and nosiness getting the best of him. 

"How long has this been going on? Does anyone else know?"

You stare at the ground as you answer, not wanting to see the pain you know is going to be on your brother's face. 

"About six months. No one else knows."

You already know exactly what JJ looks like as you hear him exhale a long sharp breath. He can't believe that not only were you sleeping with the enemy, but that you hid it for half a year. He thought the two of you were closer than that. 

Granted, he knows he wouldn't have reacted in the best way; that much was proven tonight. Still, he assumed you knew he would love you no matter what. 

"Wait, so what are you gonna tell Dad?"

Sarah's voice cuts through the air like a hot knife through butter and sinks straight into your chest. You hadn't thought about that yet; the mere idea has panic crawling up your throat. 

Rafe has though, and he seems prepared as he spits out his response the second she's done speaking. 

"The truth. I'm a grown man, and if he doesn't like it then he can shove it."

He says it so casually that it almost brings you comfort. Almost.

"Rafe, he hates Pogues. But a Maybank of all people? He's going to do everything in his power to stop this, and I think we both know that his reach is pretty much unlimited."

Your voice trembles as you speak the words out loud, and Rafe has you wrapped in his arms in an instant. 

"Hey, I'm a Cameron too. He isn't going to hurt you, I promise. I'll make sure of that." 

You can't help but feel his words have an underlying meaning, but you don't press the subject. You know Rafe has been involved in some shady shit, to say the least, and you don't want to know how far he's willing to go to make good on his promise. 

You nod into his shoulder, your breathing subconsciously matching his as you calm down from your impending anxiety attack. 

"You know you have to tell him soon, right? I mean, word travels fast on the island and it's gonna be a lot worse if he hears it through the grapevine." 

Rafe and JJ both shoot Sarah a harsh glare, and she raises her hands defensively as the two men stare at her like Dobermans ready to attack.

"I'm just trying to be the voice of reason."

You feel Rafe heave a breath and nuzzle further into him. 

"We can go to the appointment first and confirm everything, then tell him." You decide and Rafe kisses the top of your head with a nod. 

"Sounds good to me."

The night wraps up and Rafe is about to head out when he's stopped by a hand on his shoulder. He turns around and comes face to face with your brother, mentally bracing for whatever's about to happen. 

"I can see that you care about her, so as far as I'm concerned, we're cool. We can't change the situation and I don't want any more bad blood in my family. That being said, if your dad so much as looks at her sideways, I'm going to rip his eyes out." 

JJ's expecting a snarky response, and his eyebrows shoot up when Rafe looks as serious as he does. 

"You'll have to beat me to it."

At that, Rafe turns on his heel and climbs into his truck, leaving behind a stunned JJ.

Death x Reader

A/N: Howdy anon! I had to brush up on KFP2 for this one, but I'm glad to continue this little AU! Though I did explore Death's relationship with the reader in the original post, I mainly did that with anticipating a part two. So for the sake of having a nice narrative, at the start of this little post, the reader and Death are just acquaintances. Thank you for sending in this request!

You are living your best life as the Dragon Warrior. You're defending the valley, have five awesome new best friends, have one very cool kung fu master as your teacher (who was going to teach you all about inner peace!), and also your parent is still running the best noodle shop in the valley.

Also there's that one wolf guy: Death.

Sometimes he shows up when you're defending the valley, sometimes he doesn't. But whenever you see him, you're both glad to see each other. At least, you think he's glad to see you. Kind of hard to tell since you usually see him wearing his hood.

When you and the Five are sent to stop a gang of bandits, you're reminded that not all wolves are nice.

And you have a flashback of another panda, just like you.

Death appears (again). Normally, you'd be startled by his presence, but you're still reeling from the memory. He's Death, but he can't read minds, so you brush him off and gather the gang to head back home.

Sidenote: Yes, Death was there when your biological parent died. Yes, he could (and would) tell you more about them if you asked. But he hasn't put together the dots that you're remembering your past.

You ask your parent about your past, and now you're a bit shaken, having learned you're adopted and still having questions your parent can't give you answers to, but WHOOPSIES time for a quest.

(*Shrek the Musical Fiona voice*: Skip ahead, skip ahead, skip ahead-)

When you're out sitting on the boat to Gongmen City, you hear familiar whistling. It's Death. Initially, you freak out because now you're wondering if someone is going to die. But he clarifies that no one is dying. Yet. He confesses that he's been breaking a few rules recently, but he wants to check on you because you seem...troubled.

You talk about your nightmare.

For a minute, you're worried you've wasted his time. He's frowning and looking ahead on the river, thoughtful. "Sorry, that was a lot. I should let you get back to work doing your whole Death thing. I just...I don't really know where I belong. And it's not a great feeling. What did I do...for my parents to leave me?"

And the wolf stands up and shakes his head, quietly swearing under his breath. The things he does for love. "Mind if I tell you something?" You nod, curious. "I was there. When your parent left you in that crate." "Oh. Wait...does that mean..." "That doesn't matter right now." "Of course it matters! They could be-"' He grabs your shoulder. "Listen. They loved you very much. Both of your parents. They did what they needed to out of their love for you." "But why? And what happened to them?"

He is conveniently interrupted by the sight of Gongmen City and the Five waking up from sleep. He vanishes into the night.

You and the Five sneak into the city and see all the wolves. You're getting really sick of these guys. You try to get Rhino and Croc out, they can't leave because of the weapon, you run into the wolf boss again and you're all caught.

(Why can't these guys be more like Death? you think to yourself as you're climbing the many....many stairs in Shen's palace.)

And speak of the devil, you spot him in the shadows when you meet Shen for the first time. He looks more that displeased, paws firmly gripping his sickle handles. But he can't interfere in anything can he? Not after doing so much for you recently. You can't help but wonder if you're going to die right then and there in front of the canon. But Mantis saves you all and there goes the canon. Boom!

You try to get to Shen but you have another flashback. Shen escapes, and Death interferes again to get you and the Five out of the tower. You guys were having too many near death experiences for his taste. You all regroup together.

Once again, you are having an identity crisis, and Tigris tells you to stay behind, telling Death to keep an eye on you to make sure you don't do anything that'll get you killed.

Luckily for you, that's not in his job description.

"I don't take orders from anyone. Especially mortals." he sighs. The wolf nudges you with a wink. "Alright then, Dragon Warrior. Go. I won't tell."

Honestly, I think if I were going to give Death an arc this 'x reader' ver of KFP2, it would be the conflict between his duty to let the everything pan out and not interfere before he needs to take souls to the spirit world, and his own desire to engage in mortal life (ie. protect you) and talk to them and learn more about them (ie. you). He's already interfered so many times, and he can tell the cosmic balance was getting a little bit out of sorts. But...

Death decides to stay back during the fight, lurking in the shadows and doing his job properly. But he is shocked when Shen tells you that your parents didn't love you. And he loses it when you nearly die again to Shen.

He carries you out of the river and looks around desperately for help. He's Death. Death can't be afraid of anything or of anyone. Death shouldn't feel fear. But right now...he's terrified. He knows everyone dies at some point. It was inevitable. But was uncertain was whether or not him being there could actually lead to your death. If you died, would it have been because he interfered and got too close?

He follows the river away from Shen and the Five, and he makes it to the Soothsayer. The Soothsayer is vaguely aware that Death is someone from beyond the mortal world, but he rests you at her feet and tells her to help you.

When you recover, it takes both of them talking to you in order for you to recover your memories and achieve inner peace. When the Soothsayer tells you that your present actions define who you are, something resonates with Death.

Changing timeline things from the first post so that they now occur after KFP2:

At this point, he starts showing up more frequently, during and outside of battles, and he seems more relaxed around you. And you come to learn that his presence doesn't always mean someone's going to die. He just wants to visit. (And after so long observing how people live and die, he has a chance to try living for himself.)

He starts dragging you away from training to get a meal together in town or to go on a nice walk in the mountains.

When Shifu complains, Death shrugs. "Alright then." He draws his weapons, snapping the sickles together and forming his staff. "Let's continue the Dragon Warrior's training then."

Plenty of sparring practice and playful banter between the two of you. It's so much fun for the both of you, and you start tag-teaming during battles. He joins you and the Five in your fights, always sure to use just a fraction of his strength as to not kill everyone in his path. But he reaps souls if need be.

And after all of this, in a shocking turn of events, you are the one to confess your love to Death.

And after all of this, he can confidently reciprocate that love.

Decided to watch Hazbin Hotel…..(only because I hard that Jeremy Jordan is Lucifer va…..and also because i am a hater™️)

Pilot Charlie voice is so pretty. God the angels designs remind me of those weird The Purge neon mask…forget how red this pilot is..there is a lot of random sounds effects, it feels a tinnnyyyyyy bit to much. Pilot angels voice <3 snake guy voice so SO familiar????? I feel like he was in a video game or something. Hmm I forgot how much cursing there is…minor pet peeve, sometimes the lineart is hot pink and it’s kind of annoying since it sticks out against black lineart, also there SO many eyes, everywhere? Idk if that a fun little quirk or lore™️ that one news reporter being on fire made me laugh.. I like the mixed art style when Vaggie talks about Alastor, it’s charming. Hmmm, radio sound effects, love them <3

I think it’s cool that Charlie is a very sweet, kind of “childish” Nieves princess in a world full of murder and hate and violence. It makes me wonder how she got that way? Also hell is overpopulated so the angels kill them. Interesting!! Especially since lot of demons also fight over territory. This Katie killjoy does have a point, why would sinners want to change? Beside the killing, it seems like hell is basically Earth 2.0.. It is cool how Alastor the radio demon, decided to help out because he’s bored.

Episode 1

Ok, so the intro says that the angels have an extermination because they don’t want Hell to rise up. But in the pilot it was because of overpopulation…Also Lucifer not liking hell and can no longer dream, while Lilith thrives…hmmm if this story has Lilith be evil while Lucifer is good idk how to feel about that. The voices are different, while I don’t like Charlie’s new voice (sounds to idk deep?) I definitely like Vaggies, it’s deep and a bit monotone. Also new outfits!!! Charlie’s is fine, but I don’t like how sharp her face is? So look more older and mature compared to her pilot self, which add the whole naive princess feel. It’s canonically 5days to a week between the events of the pilot and the first episode…oh ew I hate Angels voice. It’s too high, and he has an accent now??? Oh Husk voice!! While is deep, it’s also high? No longer gruff.. hmm character wise, angels seem more bitchy?? Then the pilot?

Ok…random song???? Just…no build up music or anything.. Charlie curses more too. In the pilot she curse like, 3 times. Here she does it more.

There is a giant clock tower thing that went you go in, leases to a lobby then leads to the angels???? Wouldn’t that make it like, easier to attack heaven or something? Why is an Angel, like the heaven angel, cursing?? I feel like that would be against the rules?? WAIT THATS ADAM LIKE FIRST HUMAN ADAM???? Oh no that worse… like like nifty she’s a cutiepie :)

Ok Hell is still overpopulated, and heaven keeps killing then because they think he’ll will overpower them, but Adam does it for entertainment? Hmmm they also going to kill again in 6 months. :/ Katie killjoy voice is also bad.. oh!!! Wait Adam lied, the real reason heaven is killing again because an Angel was killed? But an angel was never killed before??? I thought hell was very powerful?

Episode rating 1-5. I give it a 3. I like the singing, love Vaggies and Alastor’s dynamic. But the plot is a bit confusing? Is hell being kill because of overpowered or because of overpopulated? The hotel design is pretty. Though he’ll is still red :/

Episode 2

Why is hell citizen freaking out? In the pilot it seems like they like it, because people can fight over territory. And an angel was murder, so ??? Don’t see why they would panic.

The Vees. Vox, a tv head demon who is like a weird Amazon business guy. His design is…clutter. Dude, striped jacket with vertical stripes shirt? Tho thank god he’s blue, he sticks out nicely in hell. I like his blue neon eyeliner, that cool. Velvet is a British fashion designer….shes fine. I don’t really care for her. And Valentino, who’s is Angel’s boss/pimp. And oh my gosh whose voice, his accent keeps coming and going??? It’s bad I hate it, because it’s so noticeable. Interesting that he’s Spainish(?)

Vox can hypnotize people and he did a cool tv voice effect!! Oh god I think I have a favorite character??? Vox and nifty…

Ok ok ok, so there a radio demon, a tv demon, is there a computer/internet demon??? God I hope so. Imagine if there an internet demon and vox and alastor has to like put aside there differences and work together.

Why is there Egyptian demons???? Ancient Egyptian believed in an underworld called Duat, but it’s not a place of external punishment. Vox asked Alastor to join his team?? Maybe Vox doesn’t like Velvet and Valitini that much? He seems more like a boss to them than a friend.

“And that’s the tea” :/ Why is Alastair using slang from after the 20’s? I mean sure he probably learn it in hell. But Alastor is like from 1920. That’s the tea/spilling tea is original from drag culture in 1994.

What IS Charlie’s plan to redeems sinners? Charlie was born in hell, and the sinner were from earth, surely the sinner like, know how to apologize and basic human decency? Maybe they just forgot? Maybe they need to like, clean themselves of their sin??? Idk.

Oh my god Charlie is having them do a say no to drugs roleplay!!!! ……that. Akers me wonder, how does Charlie’s know this stuff if she’s from hell? Does she learn this by watching the sinners? Did her mom or dad teach her this??? Ok, so I have seen the pilot and that seen post about that one comic about angel day to day life, and seen the addic music video. So it’s a surprise that Fat Nuggets, Angle’s pet pig is here. And that weird red smoke.

I don’t care for snake guy. He’s…neutral. Kind of suck that who snake guy being a spy was like, immediately uncovered. Kind of wished that angle was get like bummed out about the attention snake guy is getting, then later he would like, try to find out what is going on. Or something!!! But I guess having snake guy be an actual member of the team is fine. Tho, I do like his design. It’s nice to see characters that aren’t so red. Angel’s and Vaggie’s singing voice harmonies really well. Ok, this is like the first sign I actually enjoy.

Scale 1-5. I give it a 4. Only because of Vox, and that ending song.

Episode 3

Snake guy wanting to shoot the other residents because he thinks everyone is to nice and it’s a lie. That…that surprisingly a deep thought? Like I didn’t expect the show to have the residents not trust one another because they are waiting for the other shoe to drop. Also it seems like Vaggie and Alastair run the hotel, like doing up with the ad, making rules. Seems like Charlie is just the face/money aspect of the hotel. My guess is that in the future Charlie wants to quit, or is forced to to quit, and Vaggie take over, or gives like, an emotional speech about how the hotel and running it charge her for the better.

I remover in the pilot, or around that time, Alastor is aroace (nice) but I don’t remember what Vaggie is. But I can see people shipping them. For me, I could see then being close friends or maybe a weird ambiguous relationship.

Charlie you kind of a shitty boss. Like, I know I just said that vaggie does all the work, but girl, you have to do some work to?

Oh dear, I hard LOT of bad things with this episode…let’s see how bad it is.

Charlie get gross out by the sex tape….asexual Charlie real. To me!!!! Also same, Charlie, same.

Angel panicking about Charlie trying to talk to his boss. I’m guessing he’s afraid that if Charlie accidentally angers Val, Val will take his anger out on Angel. :(

Hmm ok. So that song was…bad. Like lyrically bad. As for the scenes, I literally don’t know how to feel about them? Like knowing the backstories of this episode, it grosses me out. But the song and scenes, just didn’t feel anything? Idk.

I don’t think husk should get angel back?? Angel was sexually harassed him, and husk has repeatedly said no. Like yeah, angel did that has a bad coping mechanisms or like, persona, but hmmm. I feel like if they two need to talk to each other, it could be in a different way? Also I noticed this episode is SUPER short compared to the other ones. The other once’s are like 22 minutes, this one is 12.

Oh cool, husk stoped angel from getting roofied. I guess with him being a bartender, he’s train to watch out of these things.

Husk singing voice is so so nice <3 but WOW is this message a bad one. Angel sold his soul to Val, and Val abuses him. Angel then self destruct because he thinks if he (angel) is broken enough then Val will let him go. Meanwhile…..Husk was an overlord who gamble and lost his soul to Alastor…..these 2 problems don’t equal each other. One is horrible, and one is a bummer situation. Also the message for being at rock bottom, together, maybe he helped to some people, but I think in Angel’s case he needs different help. Like sometimes when people act worse with each other, it can make people not want to get better or encourage someone to get worse. I feel like that what husk and angel dynamic is?

For some reason I feel like Charlie was written really out of character here??? She crying and had to be carried away. It feels very weird.

I heard that episode 5 and 6 are coming soon. Will I seen them, probably. Do I enjoy this show? Not really. The concept is cool! And like, only 3 characters I enjoy. But I feel like the way this is handled is bad. On Prime Video this show is 18+. Honestly, this show feels more like TV-14 - TV-MA. TV 14 is decried as intended for children ages 14 and up in company of an adult. It possibly contains suggesting dialogue, strong language, intense sexual situations, or intense violence.

TV MA is for adults. It possibly contains crude indecent language, explicit sexual activity, or graphic violence. On IMDb Hazbin Hotel has 19 sex and nudity, 14 gore and violence, 9 profanity, 10 alcohol, drugs and smoking, 9 fighting and intense scenes. On HBO MAX it’s 18+, TVMA, when video version, and 16+ on YouTube. So like, who is this show for???

Okay, it's time for my thoughts on Dragons Rising part 2. (This is super long by the way.)

(Spoilers below the cut.)

I'll get into my Cole rant in a bit because, oh boy, do I have things to say. But Soras story feels too important to leave for last.

Sora's story can reach out to so many different people that have issues with their parents and that kids really don't owe their parents anything. Sora is one of THE BEST role models I've ever seen in a cartoon. The fact that all her problems still weren't solved when she cut contact with her parents is realistic. The fact that they didn't give her parents a redemption was satisfying. And her just actually coming to the conclusion that she doesn't need to have her biological family in her life was beautiful. You are able to choose your family, and Sora showed that perfectly. Her character is amazing, and I don't even have the words to describe how absolutely beautiful her character is. She is perfect, and it makes me all emotional and stuff. I love her 😢

Arin has so much potential, and I think his whole spinjitzu thing is super important and cool. I think he'll get the MK treatment, maybe get thrown into an identity crisis, the works. Maybe he has a whole chosen one thing like Lloyd, who knows. All I know is that I love him and his little fan boy heart.

Kai and WyldFyres relationship is so great. I love seeing how far Kai has come and him referencing Nya becoming the ocean and how Master Wu helped him work through his emotions. This was exactly what the show needed. And having Kai be WyldFyres mentor was a fantastic choice because they are seriously alike in many way. Their struggle with not being patient and their hot headedness just gives me life. Kai has a freaking kid, and there little reunion hug was so freaking cute oh my god!!!!

I felt like Nya should have had a worse reaction to seeing a Djinn again. She was definitely traumatized from that, but maybe this was also some good closure for her, seeing that not all Djinn are evil creepy monsters. Nya and Soras' relationship is cool, too

Zane needs some more done with him. I need them to address the weird egg thing he hatched out of, but hopefully, it will be resolved soon. I think Zane got pushed to the side a bit, and it felt like he was jumping everywhere (like, he was just, at the administration? I know he got in trouble for portal stuff, but..... yeah). I'm sure he will get something eventually.

Lloyd is someone I never know how to talk about because he's just such a main character that it makes him less interesting to me. Don't get me wrong I love him, and him working on becoming the master of the monetary is cool and stuff. But he still needs a form of closure from past seasons, especially with garmadon. Unless they never bring him back then that's chill. I love garmadon but he always causes so much problems. Lloyd is learning how to be a good teacher though and that's really sweet.

Jay is a sassy shit Manger, and I love it. Can't wait to see more with him.

And Cole........ Cole is perfect in everything single way, and no one can deny that. Like actually, if someone doesn't like Cole from Ninjago, that's a red flag. He ended up in the place of lost things. THATS PERFECT FOR HIM! Cole Who almost got forgotten by everyone he loves, who literally ran away from home. It's perfect! He's perfect! He's the best! I love him! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! And now he's going on his own mission to follow Master Wus voice and figure out why the earth is screaming?!?!? God I love him. He's the best 😢

Also, I've had thoughts and ideas about Cole hearing the earth screaming, and I'm SUPER curious to see what that means.

Okay, now that I've ranted about how perfect Cole is...... I need to say it.

I already made a post about this but I'll never get over how perfect they are. It felt borderline canon.

People are talking about how Cole just straight up left him to chase master Wu, but I'm positive that Cole either talked to the others beforehand or right after leaving Nya about it. About how he would totally come back for them and figure out some way for them to leave the land of lost things and get in all those good tearful see you laters.

If Geo doesn't come back I will fucking riot. And I'm not one to swear super often. Mostly for dramatic effect. So you know I'm serious. Geo and Cole left me feeling high for days. I need them in my life. They can't just introduce new characters and then LEAVE THEM!!?!?!!?!!!?

Anyways, my full ale thought on Dragons Rising.

It was good. It felt risky at first to add all these new characters, especially main ones but they did it perfectly. I love me a well paced story that doesn't feel like it's going to fast or slow. Beatrix's story is very interesting but I'm still super excited to see what happens with my boy Lord Ras. He's just so cool and evil and stuff :D I wonder who his boss is?

The show felt somewhat nostalgic but also super fresh and the writing was good.

I really like new Charlies voice and her character changes in general. She acts and sounds like a disney princess, but with swears. Shes not just some naive little girl now, SHES A DISNEY PRINCESS WHO CAN SWEAR :DDD

Adam is a freaking bastard n i dont like him as a character, but his voice is AMAZING, especially when he sings (his voice was literally made for metal songs), n its really befitting his character (also his little song was amazing too, my 2nd fav of all songs so far)

Sir Pentious' voice situation is kinda the same as Alastors. Im okay with it but i like the original one more.

I really like Velvettes voice its really befitting her! Well gotta say everyone from VVV have awesome voices that really befitting their characters.

Minor spoilers for the story <3 Lilly finds out that her brother accidentally murdered her and she freaks out bc that's wild. But then she forgives him and everything is fine. She finds out that her dad has turned into a monster and she does nothing about it but avoids him. Her mom starts trying to control her, and she just waits for her friends to help her because she knows they will. She is so so tired of The Plot and doesn't know what to do about it. So she just... doesn't deal with it. She is hanging out, she is simply a lovely litty girl who is going through the horrors <3 Her friends don't even know that much about her, except for her family. She doesn't even know that much about herself. She knows she likes flowers, and having fun... but she doesn't quite know what fun is to her. She kinda gets left behind by the plot in a sense, even though shes the main character. (But I still love her very very much, she is my baby and no one can hurt her <3)

A "regular" "human" "fighter" NEURODIVERGENCY + "NEURODIVERGENCY" JUMPSCARE. So. By all accounts he really is just some guy i promise. In his head he is just a human fighter, boring as possible, average guy. Sure he has schizophrenia but hes not gonna let that stop him! The only issue is that he lives in a fantasy world, so his doctor really shouldve checked whether it was schizophrenia or mind reading. Yeah most of the time its the formor but if it isnt your kindof fucked And since he already hears voices, theres no way he'd understand that the new threatening voice in his head was his cool new sword that he found at a digsite. and that the little dragon following him around is his familar, not the dragonborn party members son.

As for the human part. he very well could be but im not gonna think about it too hard

anyways if you ignore all that other stuff hes basically just a regular guy for real. he has a passion for archeology and studying long dead civilizations, he likes animals, especially dragons. he collects trinkets that remind him of people he loves and wishes the voices in his head werent so mean because he knows his friends care about him and doesnt want to doubt that. Hes a regular ass guy!

that was the best movie i've ever seen and arguably even better than the first one. i am simply obsessed with every single detail of this movie and i cannot stop thinking about it. also me and friend were basically freaking out about everything cuz it was so damn good i cannot even stop.

there was a huge amount of parallels to the other spiderman content that we've seen and i love the way they incorporated them. the way miles saved gwen when falling during that one fight scene with spot. the bus scene with pavitr and gayatri who btw i am totally obsessed with. the way all the words that O'Hara said to miles were basically opposite of what his mother said to him earlier in the movie. the way he was listening to music on his bed when gwen showed up. the scenes from other universes where its mcu canon??? the reference to earth 19999 from miguel??? and a ton more of course

because i am also desi (lore reveal!) and also just because he was done so well. im just sad that they did not include more of him in the movie after his earth canon event was disrupted. it felt pretty raw to see almost the same scene from no way home in across the spiderverse with pavitr instead of tom holland. i also like that regardless of what consequences it has later, even if he doesnt know yet, he's able to save inspector singh. also mentionable is that they switched from mira jain to gayatri singh. in the spiderman india comics they had mira jain and props to the creators for the rep for jains cuz they don't get seen in media very much or at all for whatever reason. maybe cuz most of it is now like gwen stacy canon or whatever? idk someone if u know explain to me please

not related to parallels i almost cried at gwen's speech just cuz it resonated with me so much. thats all about that anyways anyways anyways

god i could go on about the art forever. HAVE YOU SEEN IT? TELL ME THAT IS NOT THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SCENE EVER!!!!!!!!!!! every single city scene just blew my mind and the coloring and style of every single spiderman and scene was just stunning and how was it the most amazing thing i've ever seen?????? i cannot get over the coloring for half the scenes. i love the cities differences and the way that everything falls together in each world. my friend pointed out that when miles put his jacket on in earth-42, it was colored purple and black instead of his usual colors, which indicated so much of how he was prowler in this world instead of spiderman. i think it was interesting also to see that switch of character and did you see the way that his face was much more aged as prowler? there were a lot more lines there and he looked more mature in a way. miles morales from earth-1610 had cleaner lines and a lot more chill vibe. also like the character design for miles morales earth 42 holy shit bro that was so cool i cannot even did u see the lines on his chest and the helmet/headpiece thing the way it opened and his hair and voice and omg

ughh don't even mention the ending cuz why did they have to leave on such a cliffhanger like that??? we have to wait until i think next year for the next movie and i will be in the theaters on that premeire night regardless of what i have to get done that night i dont care. im so excited to see what they will do next i can already imagine some of it and its gonna be so beautiful!!!!!!!!!! <333

Awase - he thinks the cats cool but for some reason, no matter how nice your cat is, they absolutely hate awase for some reason lmaoo.

Sen - he takes cute pictures of your cat and send them to you but thats about it. He dosent really acknowledge your cat other than that but sen is the cats favorite person lmao

Kamakiri - he wont stop referring to your cat as bald bitch or smthn like that but the cat absolutely adores him.

Kuroiro - he loves cats of all kind but he dosent let it show all that much. That said hes internally freaking out (in the good way lmao) the second the cat shows him any kind of affection.

Kendo - at first she thought the cat was a little odd ngl but as she hung out with the cat she grew to love the little thing. The cat is chill with kendo.

Kodai - she thinks the cat is cute and will gently pet them when theyre near her but other then that she doesn't really do much. Your cat is kinda 50/50 about her. Sometimes they love her sometimes they dont.

Komori - she adores all kinds of cats. So no matter how much your sphynx cat may or maynot hate her she will hug it and pet it and carry it around for not reason other than to hold it

Shiozaki - at first shes indifferent towards the cat but as she spends time around it she learns to enjoy its presence a bit. It still takes a while for her to get used to such a strange cat.

Shishida - cat with no hair vs guy with all the hair. The cat probably tries to lick him thinking hes a massive cat lmao. He likes the cat but at the same time he thinks its a bit strange. The cat loves him though so he puts up with it.

Shoda - he thought sphynx cats were the weirdest little guys for the longest time before he met his s/os cat and found out that they're actually not that weird. Theyre ugly in a cute way and he vibes with that.

Pony - she really likes animals in general but i think she really likes sphinx cats specifically. Theyre weird and cute and she loves them for that. Sadly your cat completely ignores her but that wont stop her from giving it affection.

Tsubaraba - he takes the dumbest picture of your cat and send them to you lmao. Your cat dosent mind his presence but it dosent like when he calls it ballsack in a high pitched baby voice.

Tetsutetsu - he keeps calling your sphynx cat a manly little guy lmao. The cat probably hates his ass but tetsu is completely oblivious and loves on them anyways.

Tokage - she buys the cat little sweaters and things like that. The cat dosent mind it as much when its her that puts it on them. She loves the little guy though.

Manga - he keeps drawing your cat in the most deranged way possible and sending to you. It puts little shiny highlights all over it to enhance the fact that its bald lmao. Overall he adores the cat but your cat couldn't care less.

Honenuki - idk why but hes the disney princess of the class. All animals love him so its no supprise that your cat is included in that. Everytime they see eachother your cat is instantly purring and rubbing on his legs while he baby talks it and scratches behind its ear.

Bondo - he will just walk around with his s/os cat sitting on his shoulder or laying in his arms and go about his day like that. He really likes the sphynx despite how weird looking it is and the cat loves him

Monoma - hes the type to baby voice insults at animals. Like he will call your cat a stinky baby or smthn like that in the most loving voice. Your sphynx hates him though so Monoma (being as petty as he is) he says he hates your cat even though he will fight someone for its affection.

Reiko - she thinks sphynx cats and black cats are the coolest kinds of cat. So obviously she adores your cat but she wont let it show too much. Your cat loves her and is constantly in her lap while she does anything and she loves it.

Rin - hes fine with his s/os cat but he cant let it get too close or else it will start trying to eat his braid. If the cat just chills on his lap hes fine with it but the second it starts to approach him from behind he knows hes going to get scratched up lmaoo. (Based on my friends sphynx since I thought it fit well lmao)

also i do acknowledge that rayla was hiding the fact that harrow died to protect them, but like, TELL THEM. even if they would have felt really sad and stuff ᵗᵐ, i feel like personally, i would have told them. because i feel like the longer you withhold the information, the more it’ll hurt when they figure out the truth. and i assure you, one way or another the truth always comes out.

also i felt so just like in shock while seeing the bond (for killing the king) come off of runaan’s hand. it was just so fast i could not process it. also the shadow hawk WAS SO FREAKING COOL. i was just amazed by that for a hot minute. but im not ashamed to say my first thought was that is everyone who was fighting there dead? is soren dead??? now, i wouldn’t say soren is the best person but the way he let callum beat him to impress claudia, never mind his own sister is just so 💗💗💗💗💗💗. also soren is kind of a hot snatch, and you can’t deny it, that’s speaking from someone who doesn’t even really have a type or anything.

“Before the parable? Well I’m not entirely sure, I don’t remember if there even was a before the parable. But- my lore is… rather unsettling to think about. A lot of stuff has happened to me, before and after I became Timekeeper; it was torture. But, I… suppose being Timekeeper is better than when I was 432. Maybe. I have a lot more problems with my physical form, but I have a lot more freedom to do what I want than before.”

“Also… thank you for visiting me. I don’t get too many visitors and it always makes my day. :)”

(AWW TYSM. The silly guy gets a lot of compliments and I really appreciate that so many awesome people like his design. For his lore- I have a couple paragraphs here for it. So prepare for this massive info dump.)

So, I headcanon that The Narrator created TK/432. So The Narrator is the reason 432 had to suffer so much. And when he turned into Timekeeper, his code was practically getting jumbled up and torn apart; which made him a glitchy painful mess. He also noticed his new form, almost everything was different; and he noticed he didn’t have a mouth anymore. So whenever they were in pain, they couldn’t scream, they just had to suffer in silence where nobody could hear them. But as time goes on, he finds himself becoming more stable. So he only glitches when he’s overwhelmed, upset, furious, just any kind of powerful emotion.

They then find the tape room, where they make their new office. They tried making their own masks so he could talk, but a lot of them were unsuccessful, until he made the one he has now that’s fully functioning (except he doesn’t have an actual mouth and can’t eat or taste anything). He’s also trapped in the tape room now so he can’t really get out.

I’m not entirely finished with this part of his lore, but the screen on his face somehow cracked, and he started bleeding out. It was also so bad that static had started to form on his face with his injury.

Also, static is horrible. If you lightly touch it, it will sting you for a bit then wear off. But, if you keep your hand on it or whatever kind of material, it will start to spread through you and burn you then it will start to deteriorate you as well. Static also makes the object/person glitchy when it spreads, and if you start screaming while static is spreading through you, your voice will turn distorted and glitchy. I think it’s a really cool concept.

Anyway, he was in severe pain, and that’s why he said ‘help’ to the player, and also ‘will you come back to visit me?’.

So, he seems tough when he talks to the player, but that poor man has been through so much that when you get to know him, he’s very emotional.

That’s pretty much all the headcanon lore I have for him so far, but I have some regular headcanons for ya. :)

Timekeeper absolutely loves his hair. He will brag about it wherever he seems it’s appropriate.

He also hates pencils with a burning passion, and he’s also just afraid of them because he feels like they keep mocking him of when he was 432 and he felt useless. So he will actually have a breakdown and start crying.

Timekeeper hasn’t seen Stanley in person, and he’d do anything to see him.

Tk uses a feather to write instead of a pen or pencil (for obvious reasons).

Timekeeper is a really touch-starved and affectionate person. So whenever he receives affection, he cherishes it and he will keep thinking about it for awhile.

Timekeeper hates The Narrator so much that he would actually try to kill him if he could.

Also, TK’s screen was the only way to contact Stanley. So unless he finds a way to get to Stanley, there isn’t any way for him to communicate with him.

I imagine if S!Tom and R!tom changed places spiritually instead, just imagine R!Tom waking up (in S!Toms body) freaking out because 1 he cant see shit and 2 someone is hugging him from behind?? Stay Tomm from the other hand..Oh..god. I doubt he'd be able to defend himself with R!Toms injuries

HAHAHA NOT AT ALL! Its good brain exercise for my creative flow, I dont mind the au swaps at all.

Oh definitely, R!Tom would NOT handle suddenly being blind too well. He'd probably think Tord had done something to him while he was asleep, plus he HATES physical contact so he would definitely freak out and start kicking/hitting at whoever is hugging him. This of course causes S!Tord to yell and curse "AY FY FAEN!!" which would only DOUBLE R!Tom's panic at hearing an (almost) familiar voice speak Norwegian. He'll tumble out of the bed in his panic and back away as much as he can until his back hits the wall, but he won't move since he cant see, though his fight instincts will be dialed up HIGH and will be ready to retaliate if anybody even comes CLOSE. Then...he starts seeing heat signatures. Which freaks him out EVEN MORE. "Owwww fuck! Thomas what the hell was that for?!"

The figure on the bed says, and Tom has no doubts that it's Tord. He growls and somehow his throat makes an animalistic sound, which, huh cool, but also not his main focus right now. "You stay the fuck back Larsin or so help me god I will KILL you."

That seems to make Tord pause on the bed. "...Kjaere that isn't funny."

Tom bears his teeth and somehow they feel sharper, he hears Tord pull in a quiet breath. "Come any closer and we'll see who's laughing you bastard."

They stay in silence for a while, and Tord's....fidgeting? On the bed. "What...is going on? Love are you...okay? What-" "Do NOT fucking call me that." Somehow his words sounded jumbled, a clicking noise in his throat followed after his growl. "Kjae- T-Tom..." That makes Tom pause at least. Tord never really called him Tom- at least not when he isn't trying to annoy him- plus...the way he said it seems...different somehow?? "Please...be calm, your hound, you're starting to trigger a shift...doesn't it hurt??" His what?? What in the world is happening?? "What are you-" Suddenly a door bursts open and Tom is back to raising his hackles. An actual goddamned hiss tears out from his throat as a new presence runs into the room. But...the scent (?) is familiar, and....he doesn't feel threatened by it. "...Daddy??"

Pup. Puppy. His (?) pup. His child- what??? he doesn't have a child!! - his pup. He makes a few clicking sounds before he could stop himself. The new presence stops. Then chirps. Suddenly he's all fours and running towards his pup the kid (?), he feels something lashing behind him as he curls himself around the kid before leaning up to growl low at Tord still on the bed. "...Uh...pappa??" The kid burrows himself closer to Tom, who calms down a bit at the action and lowers himself just a little. "What...is happening??" "I...don't know, puffin...." It takes a while, but eventually, AK manages to corral his dad (?) away from his papa. Meanwhile Tord makes a call to get Bing down to the cabin to find out just what the hell is going on. Why is Tom acting so strange?? ...And how come a partial shift didn't seem to hurt him?? ---- So....his eyes are back. Thats...wow, weird?? But....it seems like he's lost every other sense he had as a hellhound. Everything feels dull and limited. He cant feel any heat signatures, scents dont differentiate each other anymore. He can't feel the thrum of his hound in his veins. His body....ough fuck, holy hell. What the fuck ate him up and spat him out??? He sees all the bandages on him, and wondered how the fuck he wasn't dead yet. A door opened. Tom looks up and almost reels back in shock. T...Tord?? No, wait, how could...he's young, 30 at most, there are subtle differences to him, but he looks exactly like his husband used to when they were in their 30s. ...And why is he dressed like a douchebag?? What the hell?? "T...Elskede?"

'Tord' seemed to come at an abrupt stop as the door closed behind him. His one eye went wide, though it wouldn't be obvious to outsiders, Tom was extremely familiar with Tord's emotions when he tried to keep them subtle. Then a smile crawled up his face. And it looked too cold. "Hm, interesting..." Tom found himself wincing at the tone of voice 'Tord' used. It sounded too hollow, too distant, too...eerie, he supposed. His husband never spoke to him like that, as if he were some interesting toy. "I was wondering if you ever picked up on my language...." 'Tord' approached him, and suddenly all of Tom's senses were screaming at him to get out- His hands stopped before he could lift them. He was strapped down. What the hell?! "Have you been keeping secrets from me, Thomas?" 'Tord' was at his side now, and Tom flinched when his flesh hand came to caress the side of his face. "Did you study my mother tongue for me?" 'Tord' chuckled low, a cruel little laugh, as he gripped at Tom's chin to forcibly make him look at him. "I feel so touched!"

Tom felt his blood go cold. This man....isn't his husband....

"Won't you say it again, Thomas?" Red frowned at him, trying to look pleading, but his grip deepened more and more as Tom kept his silence, enough that his fingers were starting to dig into his skin. FUCK! THAT HURTS! Tom growled and pulled his head away, only for Tord to grip at his cheeks and yank him back towards him as he cried out. "Oh, no no no no no!" Red tutted at him as he held his face in a bruising grip. "You don't get to play with my feelings like that Thomas! How could you say something so sweet then suddenly act so cold??" Red tilted his head. "That's not very nice you know."

Tom scowled up at him. "Go fuck yourself, Larsin." He hissed.

Red chuckled. "Oh well." He said before letting Tom go only to grab him by the neck and slam him backwards on the bed, causing Tom to yelp and choke as the hold on him tightened.

He tried to break out of the hold, humans weren't as strong as hounds. But....he can't. What in the world is happening?! "I don't mind doing things the hard way."

“Senku-chan. Have you been here all morning?” Gen shuffled into the makeshift lab, tilting his head curiously at the other.

“Hm? Oh yeah- I had an idea on how to progress with the lightbulb. It’s proving to be rather…difficult.” Senku sighed, bending his head as he ran a hand through his hair. His shoulders were set with tension, stress rolling off him in waves. “I’ll take a break soon just…yeah.”

Gen hummed, nodding. Walking over, he reached out and gently hugged his boyfriend’s shoulders, nuzzling his cold cheek against the warmth of the other’s skin.

“Ah! Mentalist, you’re freezing!” Senku yelped, a chuckle escaping his lips as Gen pressed closer. “Stop, you’re too cold!”

“No way- you're warm!” Gen grinned, leaning in and pressing a soft kiss against the back of his neck. “When you're ready for a break, come find me. I’ll be with the kids making wires and such.” With another kiss, Gen let him go, disappearing from the lab with a small wave.

“Heh…maybe I will.” Senku shook his head softly, cheeks warm as he ran a hand along the back of his neck, the skin still tingling from Gen’s lips.

Later that day, Senku returned, shaking in his coat as he scurried over to a blanket wrapped Gen.

“Scoot over, I’m freezing.”

Gen smiled in his pillow, doing just that as the scientist crawled in beside him. “Oh! Senku-chan you’re actually freezing!” Gen yelped with a laugh upon feeling Senku’s cold limbs against his- reaching out and taking his frozen fingers within his own. “How long have you been out today?” “Too long. I got caught up in some lab testing.” Senku snuggled closer, pressing his cool cheek into Gen’s warm shoulder. “I’m tired. Wake me up later.”

“But Senku-chan, it’s only the evening.” Gen teased, smiling when he felt the other start to snooze. Leaning in, he pressed a gentle kiss on his forehead.

“Sleep well, Senku-chan.”

“You cut yourself?” Gen’s voice shook him from his thoughts, bringing him back to reality.

“Hm? Oh, I did, didn’t I?” Senku looked down at his hands, eyeing the reddish lines racing along his palms. “I must have caught them on something. I’ll go clean up.”

“Let me do it.” Gen blurted out, startling them both. Face warm, Gen cleared his throat before gesturing to Senku’s hands. “I…I don’t mind doing it. Cleaning up your hands that is.”

Senku blinked, taking in the request. “Yeah…sure. Thank you, mentalist.” He smiled, feeling suddenly shy. It was just hands- did it really matter all that much?

Gen nodded, equally flustered as he went to gather up the things. Before long, he had a small clay basin and a rag, the soap wrapped up in it. Over his arms lay two fresh arm bands to rewrap Senku’s hands. “A-Alright- ehm. Take a seat.” Gen waved him down, kneeling before him and gathering up the first limb. “L-Let me know if it hurts.”

Despite the shake in his voice, Gen’s hands were gentle. Unwrapping the bandages Senku always wore, he went to work- carefully dabbing at the angry red lines. It stung a little, but Senku was grateful for that. Had it not hurt, he was sure he’d be an absolute wreck right now.

“Heh- you're pretty good at this, Mentalist.” He had to break the tension before his heart exploded. “Cut yourself alot with those playing cards?”

“Please, me? The great Mentalist?” The other seemed to relax, an easy smile on his lips. “That’s all magic- I simply make it appear.”

“Sure you do.” Senku snorted, earning a playful glare from the other.

“I’ll remember that…It’s mainly from cooking.” Gen confessed, finishing off the first hand and gathering the other. “I’m not exactly a good chef. I can barely work a microwave back in our time, let alone a kitchen knife.”

Senku tried. He flattened his lips. He breathed through his nose. He closed his eyes with so much tension he was sure he looked like he was in pain.

“One time I put an egg in the microwave.” Gen carried on, starting to smile. “I didn’t know you were supposed to pierce it. When I went to get it, the entire inside looked like a crime scene. It was like I killed Gudetama.”

That did it. Senku let out a wheeze, pressing his freshly cleaned hand to his mouth as he laughed himself silly. “Ohohohoho mahahhan! Mentalist youhohour a worse chehehef than mehehehe!”

“Oh hush! I’m not that terrible!” Gen giggled with him, clearly pleased with himself. “At least I didn’t burn bread seven times in a row!”

That only made Senku laugh harder, the scientist turning away as his shoulders shook with mirth. His ears were red- Gen wanted to kiss them. “Ohooho, ohohooho god! Mentalist, yoohohour too much!” Senku snorted, sitting back up with tears in his eyes, a loving warmth mixed in them that made Gen’s heart skip. “Remihihnd me not to puhuhut you on cooking duty.”

“No worries there. I’m sure the village knows already, hehe.” Gen looked down at Senku’s hand, now clean and dry. It was warm, fitting perfectly in his own. Without much thought, he brought it up to his lips, kissing the now clean wounds.

“G-Gen?” Senku was so surprised by the action he used his real name. His face was aflame once more, eyes wide in surprise. This time, Gen only winked, kissing it again.

“Sometimes we gotta kiss it all better, yeah?” Gen teased, pressing one more kiss against it before grabbing the bandages.

“Y-Yeah…I suppose we do.” Senku murmured, flustered the rest of the evening.

“Oi, would you cut that out!” Senku squirmed beneath him, giggles climbing up his throat with each kiss and nuzzle Gen gave him. They had a free evening- Chrome had more or less forced Senku out of the lab earlier that day. “You’ve been working yourself to the bone. Go get some rest. I’ll take care of everything.”

At first, Senku was a bit irritated. He was- at least to him- on a breakthrough with his current project.

But then he saw Gen’s smiling face upon returning to their little room and decided Chrome was absolutely correct. He did need a break.

“Why should I? You’re too cute!” Gen teased between kisses, pressing another one behind Senku’s ear, making him blush and yelp out a laugh. “The cutest Scientist I’ve ever met in my life!”

“Yooohohohu huhuhuhuhush, Mehehehentahhahahlist!” Senku twisted in his arms, the acts in vain as they only opened up more tickle spots for Gen to get to. “Staahhahap it, ah! Wahhhahait!” He scrunched up as Gen kissed his neck right along a pulsepoint. “No kihihihihihsing!”

“Yes kissing!” Gen smiled against his skin, daring to lightly bite him and earning a squeak. “Unless you want me to nibble instead?”

“Yohoohohohhu suhuhuhuck- GAH NOHOHOHO!” Gen had moved back up to his ear, lightly biting it, sending both him and Senku falling backwards. “MEHEHEHHENTALIHIHIHIST!”

“Hm?” Gen asked, sitting up with twinkling eyes.

“Staahahhhahp it! Nohoohoho bihhihihting or kihiihihihssing!” Senku huffed, giving him a glare.

“Boo…fine fine. I won’t kiss or bite.” Gen agreed, something in his expression sending shivers down the other’s spine.

“Mentalist…don’t you Dahare!” Gen attacked once more, pressing his face into the crook of his neck. At first, there was nothing. No kisses, no nibbles, not even a nuzzle.

And then-

“PFFFFFFT!”

“GAH AHEHAHHAHAH YOU SUHUHUHUHUCK!” Senku howled in laughter, shoving weakly at Gen’s shoulders as the other blew another raspberry into his skin. “GHEHEHEHEHEHEN!”

“Hehe, okay okay!” Gen laughed, sitting back with a smile, watching Senku gasp for air. His cheeks were bright red, eyes misty with mirth as they tried to glare up at Gen. “Aww, don’t look at me like that. You can’t tell me you weren’t having fun, Senku-chan~”

“Shuuhuhuht up….mehehheentalist.” He groaned, no real malice in his voice as he ran a hand over his face. When he looked back again, Gen was watching him fondly, something soft in his expression. Senku knew exactly what he wanted.

“Heh…come here.” He reached up, wrapping a hand around Gen’s collar loosely before pulling him down, pressing their lips together. Immediately Gen melted into the kiss, reaching out to pull Senku closer.

They stayed like that for a long time, pulling away when they needed to breathe. “Better?” Senku asked when he could, deeply satisfied with the warm blush on Gen’s cheeks, the color running down his neck.

“Much better.” Gen nodded, snuggling close. “Can we do that again?”

“Like you need to even ask.” Senku laughed as Gen kissed him again and again.
