For what it's worth, given that we're talking about September 2023 - I'll gladly join you in a stacked rewatch for The 100. I've tried to rewatch in order and it's just impossible for me now, but I think the air date method is a really novel way to mix it up. Count me in! (In ten months, lol.)

I often find myself missing the ~energy of this fandom (read: exclusively that of my mutuals in my little dash <3), so if any of you joined me I'd love it! I do want to rewatch the show eventually, but like you, thinking of a regular rewatch... eh. But this way is a lot of fun and can lead to really interesting findings IMO.

(in particular, I think a rewatch of this show, knowing all I know in hindsight, it's going to make Clarke a more enjoyable protagonist for me LMAO)

The (tentative) idea would be start in October 22nd 2023 (in part so I have time after finishing stackediaries lol), with the second season's premiere. That way, we'd finish on September 30th (2024) with the proper series finale. I'm c&p how the schedule would look under the cut:

tentatively concluded that the hands in the closeup of Dean jabbing Sam's cut in 7x02 aren't definitively their hands. I've been surprised how regularly they do use the mains for those pickup shots, some shows (looking at you, hannibal) I noticed a number of times where it was different people's hands. anyway, I had been a little dubious of the thumb jabbing because I didn't think it looked like Jensen's.. not totally sure but Jared has a set of pretty distinctive features on his hands so they're fairly identifiable and i don't think it's the same. aaaanyway.

100% doesn't matter except that for reference for my painting I decided to crop the hands out of a wider view where it's them in that scene. another upside is the bandage is bloody and messy too. win win. downside, way less pixels so I'm gonna have to make it crispy when I paint it and I'm not very good at that.

Random, and possibly long overdue discussion point, but I feel it worth mentioning:

I think Diyoza had an encounter with the Disciples in the three months before Octavia arrived on Skyring.

Think about it. She’s immediately freaked out by the dead Disciple that Octavia and Hope uncover. She knows that the Disciple bodysuit is more than just a suit of high tech armour. (It’s even possible that she’s the one who put them in the ground there, and then forgot about it when it came time to build the new garden bed.)

When they hear the whoosh-bang of the Anomaly rising out of the lake, Octavia and Hope are concerned, but Diyoza seems to know exactly what’s happening. She tells them “Do what I say!” like she’s seen this before.

I think it is very possible that Diyoza arrived on Skyring in the last days of a Disciple’s sentence, at a time when they’d already lost their mind, and maybe that Disciple lost it even more when their people came, and killed one of them in the process. Or Diyoza somehow killed them after they suited up (poison, perhaps?), something so that they’d die before leaving Skyring so that they wouldn’t reveal her presence there.

But regardless of what happened, she definitely knew more than she let on to either Octavia or Hope. That I’m certain about.
