Sometimes, you have to let go

Waxer & Boil get adopted. Cody is NOT having any of this. EDIT: Went through and cleaned it up because there was some painfulness on my part as a writer that made me... kind of want to die from shame.

When this first happened, Ryloth sent what few ships they had to the Negotiator, and gave what they could. All the helping hands certainly helped as much goods could. Anything that could be spared by worlds like Ryloth, those who had been touched by the Clones bravery and kindness, gave whatever they could spare to the babies of the 212th; young children sent their toys.

Even after they and other ships returned to Coruscant, Alderaan, Naboo, Andor, and any port who would take them, the Jedi Order was still overwhelmed with the needs of so many little Clones. Humble as ever, they asked the public for aid.

Some gave out of obligation, others outright refused. The Republic argued about what to do about THEIR WAR.

While the planets who had the least, give the most. Turns out, the Clones were not all remembered for the soldiers they were. Many remembered them well.

Months later...

A message came through diplomatic channels, forwarded directly to Kenobi. From Ryloth.

Carefully written and composed with the help of a representative of the Order, from a small village, a small family of three, kindly told a tale... of when two Clones saved their daughter.

They didn't have much, they said. But they could keep children clean, fed, warm, and the schools were opening soon. The war had come to a halt, since no one had soldiers anymore to fight them. Like they said, they didn't have much... but the one thing they had a lot of: love to spare, for two little boys.

It had been a year since the Clones went from strong soldiers in armor, to small children who ran circles, jumped in any body of water, and filled the halls of the Jedi Temple with laughter that sounded like bells. The Jedi Order still wasn't quite ready with how to open up a call for adoptions... those that had happened, were hush hush, private... only to those who knew. Privately, Obi-Wan made a return to Ryloth with three little Clones. Each carried in their hands a helmet too big. Two looked a little more identical to each other, with only a freshly shaved head to distinguish them apart; he's still tried to pet his head because he is confused by the sensation. Eventually, he had to stop because it is hard to hold on to the large helmet with just done hand. One is taller than the two, his face contorted from the strain to hold back his tantrum. Numa's family waited in the field. As soon as the little girl was close enough, and she ran up to the slightly smaller boys in excitement. Hands pressed against her knobbly knees, she had still grown enough for the two little boys to look up—up at her, with eyes that shouldn't have been able to grow any wider. Yet, they did. The bald one stumbled a little from how much he bent his head back and clutched onto his helmet. Fingers tapped on his shoulder, then on the helmet in his arms. He looked down and realized: it was her face painted on, and he squeaked in his alarm. The other boy frowned, and again tried to find a face on his; why did Waxer get a colorful little face? Boil's only had a stupid little red triangle. The third boy, the taller one, clung to a different helmet unique from the other two. Dappled shades of brown were painted across its surface; a canvas to another little sketch that had the blue girl's face. His sour expression had only become bitter and raw the longer he watched her. Little fingers clutched onto the helmet until his nailbeds turn white. "Cody, give it to her." "No." "Commander, we've talked about this." Cody's bottom lip began to tremble. Desperate to be taken seriously, he just tried to look angrier, "No! They are MINE." Obi-Wan sighed, crouched down, and made the angry-sad little Commander look at him. "They aren't yours, Cody. They are your brothers." Fat tears began to collect in Cody's eyes, he refused to keep Obi-Wan's. "But th-they are mine."

It took longer than Obi-Wan wished it had before he realized, deep down, what was wrong. "Cody... you did a good job. You kept them safe, together," Kenobi's vision began to ripple as well. It was too easy for Cody to do this to his heart. Obi-Wan sighed and said softly, "But... they aren't coming here to be taken from you. They are coming to be with a family. A family wants them—" "I w-want them," Cody whispered with pain. It was hard to hear his voice so small, even though he was so small; he had grown so much in the year. "I know. But do you know how special it is that a family wanted them so much, they asked for them by name—by number. Remember what I told you about them: Waxer and Boil helped that little girl stay safe, and returned her to her family. Now, her family, is inviting Waxer and Boil into theirs," Obi-Wan retold. He implored Cody to listen. "Will... they give them their baths? Keep them safe? Will... they not lose them? I... I don't like it when they are lost," Cody asked, wiped his nose with his sleeve. He started to calm down, though he didn't look less heart broken. "I don't think they will take their eyes off them." Cody huffed out his nose, and realized he had to accept the forces of fate. "Fine. But—I want to be able to inspect them! Randomly. They better be BATHED." Obi-Wan wanted to laugh; the Clones were adamant about their bath times. Denying Littles their sweets was less disastrous than denying them their bath times. Little stomps tore into the rocky ground, but Cody crossed over. He handed her an ARF desert helmet that also, had her face painted on. "This is yours," Cody says, more polite to Numa than he usually was to Kenobi. He sounded on the verge of tears, but he still declared in his best Marshal Commander's voice, "They require TWO baths a day: noon and before bed. Boil is still scared of the dark and Waxer likes to climb trees—he gets lost, a lot. And uh... uh... Boil will pick his nose, then hide the boogers under furniture. Tell him you'll bite his fingers if he does. And... uh... they both like ghost stories. Don't forget the baths."

Diligent to do her best to make sure she understood and reassured the bold little Clone who spoke to her, Numa nodded along. To Obi-Wan, it looked like she had come to the stage where she understood better than she could talk. Luckily, a little droid buzzed around, its little red light indicating that it was recording everything. "They... are friend," Numa said clearly, carefully. Cody eyed her sideways, like he was evaluating her for a review. "They're my brothers." She blinked, then softly said, "They... are brother." Out of one side of his mouth, Cody said to her, "They better be. And you better take care of them or I'll come back and pinch you." "I… will," she promised brokenly, in her very best basic. Though few in words, she seemed to have convinced the little Commander.

He held out a hand, her father took the helmet, and she shook it. To Obi-Wan's delight, the parents shook his hand as well, not like they were humoring a small child. But that they... ultimately understood. Gentleman's agreement made, Cody tried to walk away from the boys, who had turned to watch his back. Waxer and Boil blinked, wobbled in indecision. Their instincts told them to follow up, to stay by his side, just as they had done in the war and when Cody came to play with his Ghosties. Most of Ghost Company was still back in the Clone's crèches at the Temple, bonding with the Jedi Younglings. Cody liked them right where he could inspect their well-being every day, and dutifully led their little gang. He hadn't like the idea that any would ever be anywhere else but right there. First had been Wooley, Waxer and Boil were the second to leave him. Waxer called to him, " 'Maaannnder," like a child calling out for someone lost and who didn't know the way. It was just what the Ghosties called Cody, always had been, and no one called the little Marshal Commander anything quite so uniquely. No one, that is, except for sweet, little Rex, who had just started to follow Cody around on the tips of his toes.

Without an answer, Waxer tried a little louder, " 'Maaanndeer!" Cody froze. His shoulders shaking. By his side, he clenched his fists tight. Stubbornly, he put a foot put forward... he had to keep marching onward. On the third time Waxer called out, Boil joined with him, " 'Mander!" Both sounded a bit more nervous. Hesitant—both felt like something was terribly, terribly wrong. They hiccuped with anxiety. Defiant to the last, Boil panic cried, " 'MANDER!!!" As if it hadn't already broken Obi-Wan's heart, it had broken Cody's resolve. Not very far from where his little Ghosties stood, Cody spun around, ran towards them like blasterbolts were on his heels. Once at his brothers, he threw his arms around both their necks, and held so tight it startled them. Cody didn't hug often. Neither Waxer nor Boil really understood what was happening. They just knew that their oldest brother, the one who ran towards them and away from his Jedi as quick as he could, was now crying... So, they did as Littles did, and they cried too. "You better behave yourselves, Troopers. NO funny business!" He demanded, as soon as he pulled from them and looked upon their faces. They nodded, he said, "Make me proud." Their nods were faster, dramatic, desperate to prove their willful obedience. The three gave... their very best, sloppy salutes. Obi-Wan would have given up his lightsaber if he meant he could have kept the 212th together... or at least let Cody have his Ghosties. Stubbornly, Cody turned on his heels and walked away as quickly as he could, to distance himself from Boil's confused little sobs. When they became hiccups like Waxer's, Cody stopped, looked over his shoulder, and saw Numa had begun to do her best to comfort them both. Boil had streaks of snot running down his chin, thinned from his fat little tears. Waxer made more noises. She had little dolls in her hands; they were handmade. Made to look like what must have been Clone Troopers. One was offered to each of them. Waxer snatched his up and clung to his it to his chest. Boil looked perplexed as his, eyed Waxer's to see if it was better. Smart, Waxer held his tighter and glared at Boil threateningly. They had gone right back to being brothers and forgot their tears. Everything in Cody's little bones told him not to leave brothers behind. But, sometimes... a brother had to let go.

Back by Kenobi's side, Cody refused to let Obi-Wan hold his hand. So, still Cody. He crossed his arms over his chest and went right back to his sulking. He didn't like this. Not. One. Bit.

"You did good, Cody." "Whatever." "I'm proud of you." "I don't care." "They will be loved." "I hate you." "I know," said with so much love. Silence on their way. A few droids brought the promised materials and belongings that went with Waxer & Boil. Changes of clothes, select toys, fresh food, and some of the materials Numa's parents bashfully admitted they could really use. Cargo skiffs brought other aid for their village—because why not? They were already here. "They will miss you, Cody." "I... I'll miss them." Luckly, in the war, Obi-Wan had never heard Cody's break like that. Though, he didn't know which would have been worse. Cody reached up, slipped his hand into Obi-Wan's, and leaned his head against his General's body as they walked. "Will they forget me?" "Cody you're a hard Clone to forget." "Good. I better be."

Waxer & Boil’s First Kiss

Ever since Waxer & Boil have been in the 212th Attack Battalion, Waxer always had a crush on Boil but was shy to tell him about it. Over the years of working together, Waxer told Boil about his true feelings for Boil and was surprise to know that Boil ALSO had a crush on Waxer.  They started going on “secret dates” (but everyone know they were dating and were in a relationship even if they they tried their best to keep their relationship a secret) so they can get to spend more time as a “couple”.  Even though they went on dates, they were NEVER able to get to have their FIRST KISS! Every time they tried to kiss, something always happens. 

The first time they tried to kiss, Cody comm them IMMEDIATELY before they were about to kiss. The second time was when Obi Wan’s (Obi-Wan) Varactyls Pet named “Boga” stick it’s head between them as they closed their eyes to kiss each other. (I guess Obi Wan (Obi-Wan) wanted to give his owner some jealousy of not being to see him since Cody has been spending to much time with his Jedi General).

Waxer told himself that 3rd times a charm. He was trying to figure out how to do it but couldn’t figure out a plan on how to do it but they FINALLY got his FIRST KISSED! By accident.

One day Waxer & Boil decided to have a pool party with some of the 212th and some of Numa’s friends as a celebration for them being able to FINALLY adopt Numa into their family before they were to get married.

During the party, Waxer was still trying to figure out how to get Boil to kiss him when he accidentally fell into the pool. Waxer didn’t know HOW to swim and was starting to drown but Boil saved him by doing CPR.

After Waxer was able to breathe as he coughed for air. Waxer then told Boil thank you and asked him to come closer so he told tell Boil in a whisper voice. Boil brought his head down to hear better on what Waxer wanted to say but was surprised to see that Waxer grabbed Boil’s jaw and gave Boil a kiss on the lips then let go but didn’t because BOIL wanted more. They stopped when Numa and her friends said “EWW” then stopped. Wooley also said “GET A ROOM YOU TOO!” as Wooley joked. 

And that’s how Waxer & Boil had their first kissed.

Why I use _____ in my fics: Mando'a Edition:

My take on the thoughts of typical, popular fanon-use of Clones Using Mando'a:

Some of my fics like the upcoming Sorry, Wrong Comms! will have a lot more than in Rough Stuff but (hopefully) not overboard. I have a loose headcanon/reasoning for why I think the Batch uses Mando'a in Typical Fanfiction Writer Fashion™ in addition to other languages/slang across the galaxy because these people saw war on many planets. They're bound to pick some scraps of these languages up and incorporate them into their squads/batches/family units the Clones are likely to make for themselves. (Don't tell me Waxer and Boil of TCW didn't start calling each other, at the very least, Nerra thanks to little Numa after their mission to liberate the Twi’lek hostages on Ryloth in Season 1.)

[In my fics mostly specific to] The Bad Batch uses Mando'a familial terms most out of everything from the language because of Omega's series-accurate use of calling them and thinking of them as a family.

As such they probably learned a few other phrases out of curiosity mostly thanks to Tech. As he's the one who divulged Omega's status as a mostly unaltered clone of Jango Fett, to me it makes the most sense that he'll also be the one who digs into what can be found on their template for the purpose of my fics even if not explicitly stated. He probably taught little bits to the Batch.

I'd hardly call them fluent, though? If anything they'd probably bastardize the language because *they'll probably make it their own and it essentially becomes a dialect unique to them. Troopers of the 212th under Commander Cody will likely “sound” different than those of the 501st under Captain Rex even though they’ll all have the same base-language. I **know there just has to be unit-specific jokes, language-adoption, and the like, like real-life military units. (We can also get a little silly with it on this blog due to it being fiction-based but not outrageously wild.)

"Kamino is the closest thing we Clones have to a home." Forever breaks my heart as an emotional sap, thank you very much Captain Rex, but as such that line opens the door to interpretation of the "where do I belong and what sort of culture am I adopting now that this is all over, for better or for worse?" plotline question many Pre/Post Order 66 fanfictions take. (It's really all it is at the end of the day: it's not that deep because it's interpretation, and fiction first and foremost by nature so we can get silly and serious with it in equal measures.)

*They'll use lots of slang that stems from Canon/Legends use in and by the GAR (and the Jedi), naturally. (They're soldiers and have the training to be soldiers that will include a lot of military-rooted jargon. My brother is active military at the time of writing this explanation to fit into my masterlist. Even when he has leave or can make a call home he's still using military slang either habitually or in recounts of what he's **done with his unit since the last time he's talked with/seen us.) 

I also don't know what is and isn't Canon vs Legends material. It's part of why my "disclaimers" or explanations like this are so freaking long sometimes. There is simply too much lore for me and my hell-brain to keep track of. I do my best. Sometimes it's simply just "Canon In My Heart" and nothing else and I do my best to tag it as such.

I change my mind all the time lmao. Indecisive should be my middle name. Some headcanons I had a year ago when I was writing Rough Stuff are very different today.

Fics I share with others will have a lot less Mando'a than fics I'm keeping to myself but I also use it because I find the language fascinating. 

Like holy hells you're telling me the base "vod" [vohd] means brother, sister, and comrade(/'mate' seems to apply in an informal/unfamiliar sense) and "ba'vodu" [BAH-vod-oo] means aunt and uncle without making it specifically gendered outside of contextual conversation? Or the popular "ad'ika" [ah-DEE-kah] can mean any of kid, lad, boy, sweetie, darling, son, daughter, child likely from the base word "ad" [ahd] (ignoring the "ika" [EE-kah] diminutive suffix for a moment) meaning sons, daughters, child and it's similar word of "ade" [AH-day] simply just being children? To me that's all pretty neat. It's a verbal trail of threads connecting one thing to another that I've been having fun with from what I'm seeing in various fan-made glossaries I've referenced while working on things like Sorry, Wrong Comms! and the like.

Whether the status of certain bits of the Mandalorian culture that gets referenced in anything I write-to-share falls under Canons or Legends classification I won't even pretend to say I understand so if I look like I'm flying blind into the asteroid belt maybe I am oops-

I'm doing this explanation more for fun than anything really- nothing here is meant to be defensive or hostile. <3

The Son’s of Clones

Part 2 of my crazy crack au plan.

This came together a lot faster than I thought it would......Huh......

Anyway,

Second verse is same as the first. Except for Leo and Rosh, all of these fine gentlemen are the biological sons of Clone troopers. They are all currently soldiers in the Rebellion and have various roles.  

Most of them are in the crackfic I am writing, and I will drop a link below. 

Starting from left to right.

Lieutenant Arrow Fett. Code name Trigger. Like Tally and Nyx, Arrow's biological dad was a clone trooper from the 212th. Arrow grew up in a fairly typical village and had next to no clue who or what his dad was.... until the Empire came knocking. With his world turned upside down overnight, Arrow did the only thing he could think of, pick up his dad's sniper rifle and defend his home. This landed him in a holding cell alongside Gregor, of all people. Who immediately recognized him as a clone kid and practically kidnapped him when the Rebellion busted him out. He's been with the Rebellion ever since.

Twig Fett. Code name Due 2. Twig is Branch's twin brother and the son of a clone from the 501st. Like his sister, Twig is half Twi'lek and a stellar pilot. Unlike his sister, Twig isn't one for the spotlight and tends to just "vibe out" in the corner. Honestly, if it wasn't for his sister, Twig really wouldn't be in the Rebellion. When the Empire attacked their home, Twig wanted to run and hide with the rest of his family. But when Branch got captured, Twig went on a one-man mission to save his twin. He ran head first into Numa along the way.... who then later brought back to the Rebellion, and the rest was history.

Max'sym Fett, or Max for short. Code Name: Fett (He could be more creative.) Max is the biological son of Dogma and a Mirialan woman. Raised in a strict but loving household. Max ran away from home to join the Rebellion after a few of his uncles paid Dogma a visit. Despite what his dad said, Max just felt like he had to help his family, regardless of the consequences. Dogma and Max haven't spoken since. He gets along pretty well with his mom tho.  

Quirks

Gets nervous really quickly. 

He is a Jack of all trades but most work as a mechanic.

Total mama's boy. 

Mako Ikaika Code name Bonito. Mako is one of the oldest of the Clone kiddos and the one who started it all. Mako's Bio dad was the medic for the Wolfpack who spent a wonderfully drunk night with a Zabark spice smuggler. They went their separate ways in the morning and never spoke to each other again. Fast forward to post-Order 66, and Wolffe needs help. This weird Zabark lady demands to talk with his long-dead medic about caring for their son. One very loud argument later, and Wolffe found himself the proud dad of one Mako. Things just exoculated from there. Wolffe deserted the GAR, ran into Rex, and found himself in the outer rim with a bunch of other clone deserters and one small child. Eventually, the group found an old abandoned base from the old republic and decided to make it their home. Wolffe named it "The Den," and Botta-bing botta-boom; the Clone Rebellion had a home base in the outer rim. Most of the Squad Kiddo end up at The Den at some point.

Takes after his grandpa Plo

Leo? Code name: Leo. Leo claims their full name is need-to-know, and no one needs to know right now. Yeah, the others don't fully get it, either. No one fully knows where or when Leo showed up in the fulcrum unit he just was just there one day. He works mainly as a code breaker and hacker for different fulcrum teams. Never really settling down with any one group or unit. That was until he met Nyx and Fae. Those two looked at this skinny loner and said, "Oh, we're so keeping him." Within a week, Leo was forcibly adopted by half of the clone units and glared at by the rest. He's not complaining tho. 

Quirks

Hacker voice "I'm in."

Lives off of coffee and Cheetos. 

Secretly loves and respects the entire clone unit but will never admit to it in a million years. 

Rosh Okoye. Code name: Usizo. Rosh is a bit of an odd duck in the clone unit. His family worked as healers, doctors, and medics in different refugee camps through the outer rim but never really crossed paths with the GAR or the Rebellion. That was until Mako showed up at one of the camps. Mako may have gotten a little (cough, cough, a lot) turned around while on a recovery mission. He completed the task, but it would take the squad another two or three days to pick him up. So, he decided to work while he waited; helping Rosh and his family out in the clinic. The two became best buddies, and by the time the squad swung back around to pick Mako up, Rosh decided to tag along. He figured that the Rebellion could always use another medic. 

Quirks

Tall Boy. Like very, very tall.

A bit of an airhead. He spaces out from time to time.

Love spicy food.

And! Now I am done. 

Good lord..... that was a lot.  

Anyway, I hope that you like the boys. And the girls. I plan on drawing them more here soon-ish...... but I need to recharge the old batteries before I do that.  

I should have a new chapter up for the fic here soon too. It's like 90% written, just needs some editing.

So in my excitement I forgot to mention that I absolutely adore both your and @obixwan additions and I got another hc for the b&b au from your additions but this time making it into a cheaper by the dozen au as well

Also yessssss Cody & his partner absolutely do diy projects as bonding moments!! And definitely don’t imagine both of them adding the kids into the mix and it turns into a huge mess but they all have so much fun as a family together that neither Cody nor his partner can get too upset about it. And yes!!Commander Cody as his kids soccer coach!!!🤩 he’s also most definitely team parent as well like the soccer team already had a team parent and Cody took one look at their non-organic, non-gluten free, non-vegan, non-nut free, and high fructose corn syrup snacks and said no💛 I’m the team parent now.

Commander Cody + his partner have a conversation about maybe having more kids in the future when the war ends and his partner tells him maybe we can adopt instead of physically having more and Cody adores that idea - any kids with his partner is a great idea to Cody(and he definitely wants his own soccer team) so they agree to adopt when the wars ends. Well a year later the war ends and the clones are all free citizens + gets all of palps money & property as a whoops my bad from the republic so Cody finally comes home for good as a free man and with an unspecified number of tubies, cadets, shinies, and the entire 212th+Numa and says hi honey I’m home and now we can have multiple soccer teams. His partner takes one look at the lot of them, shakes their head, smiles, and invites them all into their home. Which means the bed & breakfast closes for awhile but….(cut for how long this ask got 😩😆)

This got swallowed in my inbox and it’s a shame because thIS IS SO ADORABLE AND SWEET! Codys next project is figuring out how the hell to build bunk beds cos with their family just quadrupled in size 🥺

Absolutely.

1. Grievous kills Palpatine, the war ends, and in the aftermath Waxer immediately decamps to Ryloth to adopt Numa. Years later, while Obi-Wan is on a mission that, what a surprise, immediately descends into chaos, he's saved by a Twi'lek teenager who demands his help rescuing her older brother, who was kidnapped by pirates.

2. A mission to a recreation planet ends in collective amnesia after Boil touches something he shouldn't have, and Waxer wakes up in bed with his general, neither of them with any clue as to how they got there. Retracing their steps might potentially lead to an ancient Sith beast eating the supreme chancellor, but honestly, that's about how missions in the 212th go.

3. In the aftermath of Umbara, Rex brings Obi-Wan Waxer's helmet, since he's unable to retrieve his body. Grieving, Obi-Wan keeps it in his office aboard the Negotiator, but - almost immediately, strange things start happening, and people start glimpsing a familiar figure around the ship.

4. Hondo takes a shine to Waxer. Obi-Wan is very offended by his attempts at courting, but it's just the principle of the thing. Definitely. Absolutely. It very much has nothing at all to do with maybe being slightly attached to Waxer as a person.

5. Numa, during her time in the Rebellion, ends up on Umbara to investigate an Imperial lab there. When she stumbles over Waxer, kept in cryo and being experimented on, she breaks him out and takes him on the run. But Waxer is a valuable possession for the Empire, and Waxer's only chance at evading them lies on Tatooine, with a hermit who used to be someone he loved.

What if the clones changed places with diferent battalions because of The Force shenanigans for one week?

501:

Rex: He gets sent to the 187th battalion of Mace Windu, he proceeds to have almos two heart attacks per day with Hardcase causing his usual caos, when he is not trying to prevent Harcase from painting Mace Windu’s robes blue he is chating with Ponds and taking any moment to try a recover their lost time and of course bitch about their Generals (I headcanon that Mace is just as much of a disasters as other Jedis, the diference is that he can hide it.)

Dogma: He gets sent to the Wolfpack battalion of Plo Koon, Dogma is almost shocked to death by how Plo Koon treats him and the other clones that where sent to his battalion, Plo Koon helps him understand that following orders without thinking about them is not the best thing to do, he surprisingly gets along with Comet and alongside with the CG commanders is babied and almost adopted by Plo Koon, when he learned about what the CG go trough he finally learned that people need to earn your loyallty and has sworn to do anything to help his brothers, no matter where they are from.

Tup: He gets sent to the Coruscant Guard, Tup sticks t Fives even more than before since they are in a unkown place for him, he also  tries to keep Fives from causing any more trouble and animosity between the CG and the 501th battalion than there already is, being court martialed because of painting Commander Cody’s armor pink, and of course half of the CG want to keep him when they see the cinamon roll that he is and how tired he ends because of Fives.

Fives: He gets sent to the Coruscant Guard, he is constantly stoped by Tup from doing almost anything fun, he gets along with Hound like there is no tomorrow, probably since Grizzer loves Fives and Fives isn’t scared of him, whne Fives is with Tup he has to basically prevent him form being kidnaped by half of the CG. “He Tup where are you going? Oh, I’m going to see what Spot wanted to show me earlier today.(Fives notices the badly hidden ropes of Spot) No your not(Fives picks Tup like a sack of potaoes) Fives what the kriff!, Tup is MY VOD and you can’t keep him!!!(Fives yells while being chased by Spot and other troopers)”

Echo: He gets sent to the 212th battalion of Obi Wan Kenobi, Echo isn’t that out of it in the 212th battalion since he and Fives where deployed with them a few times already, but he is going to lose it if he has to prevent someone being murdered by Sinker because they mocked his battallions name one more time or howled when he walked in. He has also learned that no matter where he goes a brother will take Five’s place and in this case Thorn is that brother.

Hardcase: He gets sent to the 187th battalion of Mace Windu, Hardcase decides to see how fast he can cause Rex to grow grey hairs and Ponds is a plus, especially since this is Mace Windu’s battalion, although poor Rex and Ponds have no idea that Mace is on it. “Hey Hardcase, whats that you’ve got?(Rex asks seing the suspicious bag Hardcase is carying) Coffe grains!!(Hardcase answeres befoere runnig of while munching some of them) Nooo!!!(Rex remembering what happened last time Hardcase had one caf runs after him, willing to stun him and ignoring the rest of the men in the room laughing.) (In the mean time Mace is hiding his amused laugh after he gave Harcase the coffe grains.)”

212:

Cody: He gets sent to the Coruscant Guard, Cody takes the time he has and sleeps like he has never slept before, at the start he helped Fives to keep the CG from stealing Tup, since he knows how it feels that the CG is trying to steal one of his shiny vod, after Fives tried to paint his armor pink, he stoped and decided to enjoy Five’s suffering.

Longshot: He gets sent to the 501th battalion of Anakin Skywalker, Longshot and Jesse are Kix’s new nightmare, since they also decided that making Wolfee’s comn to howl like a wolf.

Boil: He gets sen to the Wolfpack battalion of Plo Koon, Boil wonders if the universe entertaines itself with his suffering, because from all the vod he had to love it had to be Waxer and from all the existing battalions they could magically apear on it was Plo “I adopt any living creature that barely breathes in my direction” Koon, although he isn’t as against at the idea of finding Numa as he says he is, and Waxer knows it. He was one of the troopers that helpes Stone in making Fox rest, it’s the least he can do after he learned what they go trough.

Waxer: He gets sen to the Wolfpack battalion of Plo Koon, Waxer and Plo get along to a scary level, multiple troopers have to restrain him phisically and distracting Plo long enough that they can’t go in a journey across the galaxy in search for Numa. He also discovered what the CG go trough and felt ashamed of what he thought of hi brothers before, he alongside Boil have decided to spread this information, to at least make sure that their brothers have more support.

104 Wolfpack:

Wolfee: He gets sent to the 501th battalion of Anakin Skywalker, Wolfee thanks the universe for assigning him to General Plo “Coff Coff Buir”, instead of the walking disaster that Skywalker is and at the same time begs the universe for patience in order to prevent himself from murdering any other Vod that makes his comn howl or any joke about wolf in his presence, even if it’s Commander Ashoka or how General Buir calls her “Little Soka”.

Boost: He gets sent to the 187th battalion of Mace Windu, Boost is having the time of his life alongside Waxer and to his shock General Windu, by giving early grey hair to Captain Rex and Commander Ponds, this may seem cruel to some and even to him at the start, but when he learned that General Windu was doing this in order to boost the rest of his men morale after a really hard capaing he was sold, besides some humor never hurt anyone, right?

Sinker: He gets sent to the 212th battalion of Obi Wan Kenobi, General Kenobi is not a bad Jedi and by all means he thinks he enjoys the chats he has with the Jedi but may the universe have mercy on the next fool who makes a joke about his battalion’s name or howls while he enters the room, he doesn’t care about the consequences and fortunately Echo has prevented a lot of bloodshed caused by his hands, he hopes that when he’s back with the Wolfpack the ARC gets deployed with them more often, he likes him.

Coruscant Guard:

Fox: He gets sen to the Wolfpack battalion of Plo Koon, Fox apreciates the Jedi, since he ans his men don’t have on he had no idea what to expect and lets say that Skywalker didn’t give him high expectations and since he can’t do his paperwork he was cuddled to death by stone and by a few other brothers that learned of how they are treated in Coruscant. Plo has to be stoped by the Wolfpack who fake injuries in order to prevent the Jedi from storming the Senate, when he found out of how the CG are treated one didn’t need the force in order to feel the bloodlust in the man, and even if the Wolfpack shared this feeling they can’t let their Jedi be acused of treason..

Stone: He gets sen to the Wolfpack battalion of Plo Koon, he is thankfull to any force in the universe for giving him this time to finally force Fox to sleep, since Thorn isn’t here it’s his duty to care for the di’kut he calls a vod and commander. He didn’t cry when the Wolfpack as a whole decided that the CG needed help, he really didn’t, it was just a bit of dirt in his eyes, but having brothers outside of the CG watching his back is conforting, and Fox won’t admit it but they have a soft spot for Dogma.

Thorn: He gets sent to the 212th battalion of Obi Wan Kenobi, he want’s to help Sinker with a bunch of his plans to make the 212th suffer except for Wooley, Wooley is nice, fortunately for the 212th Echo stops Sinker most of the time and the poor ARC looks so tired of it, so Thorn has decided to help him around, he remember one time Fox talked about the time he worked with the ARC and another one named Fives, Fox saud that Thorn where painfully similar and may or may not have admited to have liked working with him, “but you didn’t hear that form him alright Echo? Echo? Wait you recorded it, no stop Fox will murder me!! (Proceeds to run after a cackling Echo)”. 

Thire: He gets sent to the 501th battalion of Anakin Skywalker, he is not surprised at all when he see’s the daily disasters that happen on Torrent, and even if Commander Tano and General Skywalker are fun to be around, he can see where the battalion got the recklesnes from and he will feel no regret when Rex comes back and he is back on coruscant.

I don’t know what ELND means but uh, I hope this is okay (I’ve never written Numa’s dads before)

Boil, to his dying breath, would deny that he liked kids. He would always say, when asked, that it was Waxer who was the kid-friendly guy. Unfortunately, due to his association with Waxer, that meant that he often got roped into whatever he was also pulled into. And this just so happened to be one of those times.

Boil grumbled under his breath as he held Baby 1. He didn’t remember their names, so he had decided to call the girl Baby 1 and the boy Baby 2, and he would not be taking any criticism on it at all. Baby 1 was pretty well behaved, and she didn’t cry a lot. In fact, she seemed to be content sleeping against his chest as he lounged in the former 212th’s common area. After the War the Jedi had taken the GAR and left Coruscant for one of the past temples, rewritten their Code, built a new ‘barracks’ which was really just a ton of apartment buildings for each group of Clones, and then proceeded to basically adopt the millions of Clones into the New Order— but that was another story for another time.

Still, Boil had no idea where Waxer went with Baby 2, but he hoped that he had it under control. After all, Numa was with him, supposedly. Maybe. Hopefully.

He sighed, adjusting the sleeping baby against his chest as he shifted himself, continuing to scroll through his datapad.

Not a moment later, Waxer walked in, stretching and he looked up. Then squinted.

“Waxer,” he started, frowning as his brother moved towards the ‘fresher. “Hang on.”

Waxer stopped, tilting his head, and Boil indicated to him. “Where’s the baby?”

There was a moment of pause.

“Oh, kriff me.”

Waxer bolted from the room. Boil stared after him before sighing and looking down at Baby 1. “Well, Baby 1, Baby 2 might be lost now. But at least you have Uncle Boil lookin’ out for ya.”

Clonetober #23 212th OVERWHELMED

CC-2224 aka “Commander Cody” has been SO BUSY LATELY since Chancellor Palpatine was arrested and Bail Organa is now the Chancellor. Cody is NOT the NEW Senator for KAMINO. Fox is the new Senator with his Wife Senator Riyo Chuchi helping him. If you are wondering WHY he’s been SO BUSY LATELY is because…….You will find out when you read my story. I’m probably going to throw you guys WAY OFF on what I’m going to tell you.

Here are some few things that have or had been going on since Palpatine has been arrested.

Rex and Ahsoka got married.

He and Obi Wan got married.

Waxer and Boil adopted Numa.

Stopped Waxer from adopting more kids.

Stopped Waxer from adopting ANOTHER Massiff (Waxer, Boil, and Numa have 3 already)

Sometimes babysits Numa while Waxer and Boil go on dates.

Hates when Anakin randomly drops off the TWINS (Luke and Leia) without letting him know that he is watching them.

LOVES helping Rex with Watching Rex and Ahsoka TWINS (Clonetober Story #21 Clones and Their Jedi(s) 9/10 part 1-3) Jasmine and Jasper.

Helps Fox on whatever Fox doesn’t want to do (what great brother. NOT)

Picks up Obi Wan’s Lightsaber every day.

Sometimes helps Rex get Fives and Hardcase out of trouble.

Makes Obi Wan Tea everyday in the morning because they are now MARRIED!

Makes sure that his Brothers in the 212th are doing the things that they were assigned to do.

Helps Obi Wan calm down whenever Obi Wan is with ANAKIN (that’s EVERYDAY)

Takes a 5 MINUTES SHOWER because he’s usually the last Clone to take a SHOWER after he is done with all the things he did that day. He does get a longer shower whenever he is at home with Obi Wan and NOT at the base or on one of the ships.

Gets 10 MINUTES of sleep when he is at the base or on one of the ships. When he is home with Obi Wan, he will sleep for 6 HOURS or even longer. The longest time he slept was from 8:00 pm to 9:10 am. (Obi Wan put a sleeping pill in Cody’s tea that day so he can get some rest. Cody was GRATEFUL that Obi Wan did that and wasn’t mad at him.)

Helps Kix get OBI WAN into the Medical Room whenever Obi Wan is sick or injured.

Those things I listed are things he basically does EVERYDAY. Obi Wan wanted to see his HUSBAND Cody to get some rest. He told Rex and Fox that they will be taking a weekend vacation which Rex and Fox agreed that Cody DESPERATELY NEEDS one NOW! Cody had NO clue that Obi Wan did this for him until he woke up in a hotel with Obi Wan laying in bed with him. Cody woke up Obi Wan and gave him a kiss on the lips telling him Good Morning and he loves him. Obi Wan did the same thing to Cody then Obi Wan got out of bed to get dressed so he could bring up some Breakfast from the lobby. Cody did the same thing as well.

Once they got their Breakfast, Cody asked Obi Wan how they got here. Obi Wan told him that he put a sleeping pill in his tea before he went to bed and that Wolffe, Fox, and Rex helped carry you here. He also told Cody that they made people think that both Cody and Obi Wan were BOTH drunk which Obi Wan had Kix give him an anesthesia shot to make him look drowsy because…..Obi Wan wasn't good at acting drunk. So…….yeah. Cody smiled and gave his Husband a kiss. After they were done eating breakfast, they went back to their hotel room to get some things as they went out shopping.

Cody and Obi Wan went out to a couple of stores to get Cody some new comfortable clothes so whenever he was home with Obi Wan, some new clothes when they go to church, swimsuits so they could wear when they go back to the hotel to swim in the pool or relax in the hot tub, and a grocery store to get so food for a picnic later today. As they were shopping, Obi Wan felt a little bit sick that he would go to the bathroom a couple times while they were shopping. Cody thought that it must have been something he ate at the mall’s food court. Cody told Obi Wan that should head back to the hotel and check out even though Obi Wan reserved 4 days and told Cody he was fine but Cody told Obi Wan no as he took Obi Wan back to the hotel to get all their stuff and headed home. Obi Wan was embarrassed that he kept on throwing up but he couldn’t help it because…….well you will know soon and why THIS STORY will confuse you.

Once they were home, Cody was shocked to see a lot of baby items in the living room. Cody thought it was a prank that Fives, Hardcase, Anakin, and Wrecker did while they were away. Cody was about to call Rex on his Holopad when Obi Wan told him why there was BABY ITEMS in the living room. He told Cody to sit down and told him to stay there then he grabbed the Holopad. Cody was confused but did what he was told. After a few minutes of waiting for Obi Wan to come back, he got up and went to their bedroom to see what Obi Wan was doing. When he got there, he saw that Obi Wan was in the BATHROOM throwing up. After Obi Wan was done throwing up, he carried Obi Wan and put him in the bed and had put a chair next to him with a trash can for him to throw up in. Cody was about to leave when Obi Wan told him that he wanted to tell him something before he left. Cody was confused but did what he was told.

After Obi Wan told him that, he told Cody that he had a gift he wanted to give him. Cody was confused because it wasn’t his Birthday or their Wedding Anniversary. Cody was about to ask Obi Wan but he didn’t because Obi Wan was pointing at a box that was on the bed where Cody slept. Cody took the box as he removed the trash can on the chair and started to open it. Cody was confused because there were 3 PREGNANCY TESTS in the box. Cody looked at each one and saw that ALL 3 of them had 2 PINK LINES on them. Cody asked Obi Wan if he was PREGNANT. Obi Wan nodded with a smile but his smile turned into a sad look. He was worried that Cody didn’t want Obi Wan to be PREGNANT but he was wrong. Cody was SO HAPPY that they were going to have a BABY. Cody gave Obi Wan a kiss on his forehead. Both of them were crying with joy. Obi Wan was happy that Cody wasn’t mad at him. Cody NOW FINALLY KNEW why Obi Wan was throwing up a lot because he was pregnant!

Now this is going to be confusing because…..I will be WRITING 2 other stories that will be about Obi Wan being PREGNANT. Let’s just say in this Story that it’s March 19 and that his due date is December 24. The 2nd one will be when Cody finds out that Obi Wan is PREGNANT when Obi Wan gives him a gift at Christmas with a Pregnancy Test that has 2 PINK LINES on it and the 3rd one is where Obi Wan finds out his PREGNANT but doesn’t tell Cody yet. So……yeah. That's why I might confuse you guys but those 2 stories will be written after I finish my Clonetober Stories.

Free: Rex/Fives Flat

Second last one done shsbbfbf. We are almost done with the Clonecest in July tag crazy isn't it?

“General Skywalker, you wanted to see us sir?”

Anakin turned around from where he was standing in the senate building. Rex and Fives weren’t exactly sure why he asked for them specifically. A lot has happened and every clone was still trying to process through everything.

The war had ended with them. When Palpatine revealed his entire plan to Fives he had gone crazy. Rex was terrified for his ruiduur, not sure what was going through his head and Rex had pleaded and begged for Anakin to listen to Fives to give him a chance. It was like the Arc Trooper to act this rashly and they both knew it.

Anakin had agreed to it, the both of them going through the streets to find some hint of Fives before he trapped them. They had listened to him, convinced him to drop the shield and figure out a plan.

Rex wasn’t sure what was happening but their general did his thing with the force and Anakin was more than concerned when he felt the chip in Rex’s head and after testing a few more of his troopers, Anakin took it to the council as quickly as he could.

They lost track of what happened next, but next thing they knew the clone was told that the war was over, the Chancellor was the sith lord and he was taken down in battle. They didn’t know what to do with themselves, their future unknown. Were they going to go back to Kamino? Were they going to be killed off because there were millions of them and they didn’t have basic rights?

All of them were lost, desperate to know what was going to happen to them as the Jedi took them in and discussed the possibilities. It was known that Kamino was in charge of them and they knew that they were probably going to cull them, or experiment on them to find out what they could get away with on millions of samples.

They all held each other tight. Rex had sobbed into Fives’ arms in fear as the Arc Trooper held him close, whispering to him how much he loved him over and over again.

But the Jedi did something they didn’t expect them to. They took ownership of the Clones, refused to give them back to Kamino and next thing they knew there was a bill being passed to give them rights. It still blew his mind whenever Rex thought of it.

They weren’t sure what to do with themselves when they were seen like people. That they could live a simple life and many of them did. Some stayed on with the Jedi like the Wolfpack who were assigned to Plo’s rescue team for the galaxy itself while Cody and the 212th were made to be security guards of the Jedi temple. He knew Waxer and Boil adopted little Numa and started a life there while other clones followed to become farmers, mechanics, all kinds of jobs and he hoped all of them lived well.

For Rex and Fives themselves, well, they decided to stay on Coruscant with the Skywalkers. They weren’t sure what they were going to do yet but they had decided to figure it out as they went on with their lives.

“Rex, Fives you made it,” Anakin said with a smile and both troopers gave him a nod, “You know you don’t have to call me General anymore, the war is over.”

“Ah, it’s habit sir,” Rex chuckled as Fives wrapped an arm around his waist, taking full advantage that he could show off that they were in a relationship without fear of being killed for it.

“I understand.”

“What was it you wanted to see us for exactly?” Fives asked and Anakin beamed.

“I am glad you asked actually. I was talking to Padme and we have something for you.”

“Something for us sir?” Rex asked and Anakin only smiled as Padme walked towards them.

“Follow us,” Anakin said with a wink as Padme greeted them softly. They weren’t sure what to expect as they followed them through the streets to a nice apartment building that was one of the safer ones.

It was on the fourth floor, the second door to the right that they found out what their surprise was.

“You got us a flat?”

“We did, you two deserve the best,” Padme said softly and Fives just stared at Rex with wide eyes.

A living space, just for them. To actually move and live in, that was bigger than Rex’s captain quarters. What are they going to do with all this space??

“I know this is a lot but you two deserve some peace. And don’t worry about the space, we will help you get some furniture and make this a home for you two.”

Rex was speechless, he wasn’t sure what to even say as he walked to the middle of the flat, looking around the living area that was theirs. He felt tears well up in his eyes and he tried his best to keep them at bay as Fives stepped up behind him.

“A home, just for us?” Rex asked and Fives nodded.

“Yeah, I suppose so.”

“What are we going to do with all this free space?” Rex asked as he leaned back into the man he loved so dearly, the man that he had almost lost but Anakin had saved him.

“We will figure it out. But just imagine Rex, a space for us with Echo coming to visit when he isn’t with the bad batch, the commander’s coming to pick on you.”

“Maybe even a little one running around?” Rex asked quietly and he felt Fives freeze behind him for just a moment before he melted.

“Yeah, I would like that.”

“Really?” Rex asked as he twisted around in Five’s hold and he almost couldn’t breath with the way Fives was looking at him. As if he was his entire world, that he was the best thing to have ever come into his life and Rex couldn’t help himself as he kissed him.

“Yeah.”

They both smiled, Anakin and Padme completely forgotten in the background as they got lost in their own little world. They will both figure this out, together.

Opinions on Cody, Waxer, Boil, and the rest of the 212th (personality, character design, things they have done/are known for, etc)?

OKAY SO I AM SORRY THIS TOOK A FEW DAYS YOU ARE MY FIRST ASK AND I WANTED TO DEDICATE TIME TO THIS. I hope you like my thoughts on these characters! I tried to keep them light. No one died, nope, no one.

So without further ado, my headcanons on Cody, Waxer, Boil and the 212th (with Obi-wan sprinkled in)

Commander Cody:

- Cody is a simple man. Give him orders and he’ll follow them to the letter.

- He likes to think that he is more level headed and mature then any of his fellow commanders. This is not true.

- Cody will absolutely fight droids with nothing more than his bare hands and the weight of his body. The regularity of which his hands are wrapped would be cause for concern if it would any other trooper.

-Cody will absolutely throw his whole body into an enemy if disarmed. Do not test him.

- He is also not above pulling pranks on his brothers (especially Rex, who yes he adopted during their time on Kamino).

- Cody is single handily the reason why the ENTIRE GAR believes that Rex dyes his hair.

- His armor design is a reflection of who his is. The sharp clean lines show that he values straightforwardness and simplicity in all matters. However, his helmet, which he insists means nothing other than he had some free time on his hands, shows the more fun and chaotic side of Cody.

- Cody is known as the brothers brother. He is a comforting sight to his brothers, even if they have never met him before, his reputation proceeds him. His stability is something his brothers rely on.

Clone Trooper Waxer:

-The boy tries to adopt anything within a five mile radius, the Fett genes are too strong.

-Waxer is an extremely caring person. He listens to his brothers and let’s himself be a shoulder to lean on when they need it.

-He feels deeply and without regret. If he is only gonna have one life then he is going to live it to the fullest that he can.

-Waxer paints Numa on his helmet to remind himself the importance of the war and to remind himself why his service matters.

-The tallies on his helmet are tallies of every time he sees something spectacular in the Galaxy — the kindness of Numa and the people of Ryloth, the first explosion of a Separatist ship, the first time he sees Cody punch a driod and not break his hand. Reminders of the little (and big) moments in his life.

Clone Trooper Boil:

-Despite popular belief Boil is usually pretty easy going. But when it comes to Waxer he is very protective.

-Boil may be protective of his brothers, but he is not good with kids. He jokes that Waxer took all of that part of Fett’s DNA. (Waxer calls him a liar whenever he says he doesn’t like kids).

-Boil is very sarcastic. When he is just around a brother, he’ll make quips about their mission when he sees the chance. “I guess we’re the best.”

-That being said, he is very mission oriented and hates being held up.

-He overcompensates when he feels like he has to reign in Waxer to stop his brother from becoming too attached to whatever his brother’s latest project is. This is why he was so hesitant about Numa.

-Boil’s armor is his prized possession. He does touch-ups on the paint constantly.

-He carries the majority of the gear when on a mission. No, you cannot argue with him about it.

-Boil and Waxer are inseparable. Where one is the other is soon to follow.

-They do get assigned to different missions from time to time and love retelling their adventure to their brother when they get back.

The 212th:

-The 212th are absolute children. They want to rush into every battle and shoot every driod they set their sights on. They give the 501st a run for their money in battle.

-but, they only feel comfortable doing so because both Obi-wan and Cody are such strong authority/parental figures they they don’t have to worry about the details. Cody and Obi-wan do it for them.

-That being said, they do follow orders, better than the 501st do anyways.

-The 212th are a close battalion. They help each other out whoever they can. Little things here and there to help each other get through their day-to-day.

-Obi-wan is constantly spewing out trivia information while on missions, things like vocabulary or information about the local wildlife. The brothers then in turn spew out these tidbits (without being asked mind you) any chance they get.
