always a mindfuck when you go outside and it has snowed about 10cm since u last stepped out, and it’s suddenly very “middle of the winter” and even tho u knew it was coming, you did not mentally nor physically prepare for it. So now you’re there with no scarf, no hat, useless gloves, leather jacket, and a very confused sleep schedule. And it’s never “ah it’s winter soon” oh no. okay, unfortunately, it looks like the tumblr’s time distribution function for queued posts is not good, lol. I’m going to have to either accept posting at inexplicable 5 hour and 24 minute intervals or else manually schedule everything. the uneven intervals defeat the whole purpose of having a 24-hour queue period (to have posts spaced out evenly throughout the day).

I currently have the queue paused and probably won’t restart it until tomorrow evening (I’ll make another post when I do). please bear with me while I try to figure out what the fuck is going on and if there’s a way around it that doesn’t involve manually scheduling 228 posts lmao.

#there's like...a secret and unindicated built-in buffer that prevents it from posting at even intervals over the full 24-hour period #the weirdest thing is that it's not even on both sides? #if I set the post range to between 1am and 9pm the first post is at 4am (3 hours after the start of the range) #but the last post is at 4pm (5 hours before the end of the range) #?????? who designed this?????????? #why doesn't it just...work the way it describes itself as working?? #if anyone has experience with queuing and has suggestions I'd appreciate them #faq
