i have finally landed a job interview and i have Such mixed feelings about it

#on one hand: fucking finally i will be making my own money #on the other hand. sigh. #cant wait to do something i dont enjoy for at least eight hours per day five days a week #clenching my fist and thinking about the things i can buy to convince myself this is worth it #crafts. i can contribute to kofis. art. tasty beverage without feeling monumentally guilty. saving up to move somewhere i want to be #absolutely unprompted #i would add on the pro that id be less of a family disappointment #But that ship has long since sailed. any pride my parents express will just make me uncomfortable/mad so technically its a con! #'finally youre contributing to society' i dont WANT to contribute to society #society is a capitalistic hellscape. society needs a fucking reform #fuckign... biting people... #i belong in the paleolithic area. i would kill it at hunter-gathering. everyone would want me in their hunting/foraging group #id live so bright and fast and then die of eating the wrong mushroom... as nature intended...

I often think about all the people who were forced to go through their periods before reliable painkillers were invented. I just had period cramps so bad, I was frantically googling ‘how to tell the difference between period cramps, ovarian cysts, and a cute appendicitis’ while waiting for the painkillers to kick in and trying not to throw up from the pain. And how period cramps were probably the least of their problems. Absolutely insane. How did we survive as a species.

!!!! You bought??? Truffles from me on flight rising (my username is still Matzuki but I plan on changing it to kandikyssis like all my other accounts). Idk how to convey I'm so honored you have one of my dragons in your lair??? I think it's so sweet of you to take her in for her colours and change her breed! I honestly am doing that with a lot of my old dragons to freshen then up. On fact, that's what I did with her Mom, Moira!

I really liked her colors as a fae, but the mushroom apparel fit her well and I got a them of farmer nocturnes, so changed her to match the set c: She even got a partner now in mushroom hunting!

Revisited that oyster mushroom tree and it was absolutely COVERED in shrooms. Unfortunately it’s been too cold at night and they’ve frozen so they weren’t any good but some of em were huge!!

Here the Tower is represented by Ophiocordyceps unilateralis, infamously known as the zombie ant fungus. The spores of this fungus will infect and hijack the body of an ant, draining its nutrients and creating a network of cells throughout its body, allowing the fungus to manipulate the ant as though it were a puppet. The fungus then compels the ant to latch onto a leaf or twig 25 cm off the ground, where the humidity and temperature are just right for reproduction. Mycelia spreads through the ant’s dying body, and when ready, a mushroom will rise up from the ant’s head, rupture, and release its spores upon multitudes of others. The zombie ant fungus has been known to lay waste to entire colonies.
