This.....is the 1000th post on this blog, and I definitely waited until that could be true to post it, and that’s honestly? Very fitting. Seriously, you guys are a m a z i n g and I have literally never done a milestone before so I can’t tell you what it’s supposed to look like?? But we’ve somehow Miraculously (tm) managed to reach 100 followers and - anyway, this is going to be me very unprofessionally gushing about everyone because....I love you all and you’re all amazing aaaaaa. so, this has been a long time coming. i mean, it’s been a month since i posted in character? i’d like to blame it on the holidays, but really, i just don’t feel a need or want to rp anymore. so, i’m officially “retiring” from the rpc. i’ve sincerely enjoyed writing with you all, but most of all, i’m grateful for your friendship. in these past 10 months, i’ve experienced nothing but kindness and good times, and that’s all because of you guys! my time as an indie has been a dream come true, and i want to thank each and every one of you individually, but since there are too many to be able to do that, i’ll personally thank just a few of you, but please know, that if we’ve ever interacted in any way, i’m so thankful, and i hope you know how amazing you are.

how dare you make me choose, meechi. sure, i came here for scott content, but i ended up falling in love with so many other good beans (+hugh).      meechi. aaaaaaah, kit! you know my mind bounces everywhere so this is just going to be one mess of a post, but i will try my best! it’s been awhile since i’ve written sham in his full entirety and, tbh, i kind of miss him. he’s been an awfully quiet muse ; i still highly adore him as a character. in fact, i absolutely LOVE his characterization in the servamp series. he will always be 1st love for servamp and i hope my rereading of the wrath arc will entice him to come back. i actually compare him a lot to Luck ( the difference being Luck has charisma and Shamrock canonically has NONE, but they’re both emotionally intense boys who take their jobs and loved ones seriously. not to mention their running themes of vengeance and that, atop the emotional hearts, they have a rather calm facade ).      as for junichirou, i paid attention to him because jenna wanted to entice my reason to offer servamp, so she offered jun as a possible muse. to make a long story short, i absolutely adore him. for one, i love that he’s not a boring stick in the mud just because he’s the Parent out of the three. he’s very much still has childish or playful elements that make him very endearing, and there’s just something super honest about junichirou. what won me over as well is the amount of respect he showed towards mahiru and the other eves, despite the fact that they were younger than him. he didn’t brush them off or told them they were immature ; he wanted to believe their words and help them if it meant helping his loved ones. in some ways, he kind of reminds me of my mom a little.     i’ve mentioned Luck, but i really haven’t talked talked about him ( after all, my mind is just EVERYWHERE ). he’s actually a really challenging muse to write – his complexity is partly why i love him, but it also causes me a lot of anxiety because i’m not sure if it’s TOTALLY accurate to who he is. i sometimes feel i play up his kindness or goodwill a lot more than i should ; in reality, Luck is still a criminal and a DANGEROUS one at that. despite his empathy, he can totally be ruthless if he chooses to be, and that’s a part of his character i don’t really want to erase because it genuinely makes him INTERESTING, especially when it comes to inner conflict. since Luck wants to be a ‘ villain, ‘ but is aware he doesn’t have the natural temperament for one, it can get hard to determine what’s OOC or IC since he’s faking it half the time. you almost FEEL you’re wrong, almost always. but when you manage to STRIKE that balance, it’s SO goddamn awarding and EXCITING. i’m getting on to the 1935 arc so i’ll be seeing a lot more Luck content soon in my read of Baccano!     i’m surprised Hugo’s being thrown together with Luck as possible favorites twice already. mostly because i expected Luck, but almost never Hugo considering I don’t write her as much. i did talk a little about her earlier, so i’ll be brief as possible. Hugo was how i started rping in the BSD RPC, and she was actually my main muse for a LOOOOONG while. i adored writing her, but it wasn’t until i began writing scott that i started losing her muse for her. nowadays, she’s a muse that kinda comes and goes as she pleases, but she’s always insistent on having her shit ANSWERED and never let unattended ( unlike scott, hugo is not the LEAST bit picky and will talk to ANYONE ). she’s loud, charismatic, cocky, and incredibly loving of the People. i legitimately enjoy writing Hugo because she is just, FILLED with so much love and adoration for the world. her passion and zeal for equality and freedom is invigorating and sometimes, just choosing to write 1 line of dialogue for her fills me with excitement and energy. hugo’s just a really fun muse and i hope i get to use her more as time goes on.
