An Insider’s Guide to Throne of Glass: the Cleaver of the Deserted Land, the wide ravine lays cuts harshly through the monotonous landscape of the Red Desert just north of Xandria, the capital city of the Deserted Land and represents a considerable challenger to any travelers passing through. The Cleaver, and it’s eons of existence, is a feature of the Red Desert that cannot be crossed, leaving passers through  no choice but to go around it entirely, 1/?

This is all I saw in my head when Ansel was decked out in her armor in The Assassin’s Blade

Reading The Assassin’s Blade, I’m on page 181, where Ansel touches Celaena’s cheek while talking about how much men suck, and let me tell you-

Sis is not straight…

“What about that one?” Ansel said.

“That’s the stag,” Celaena breathed. “The Lord of the North.”

“Why does he get a fancy title? What about the swan and the dragon?”

Celaena snorted, but the smile faded when she stared at the familiar constellation. “Because the stag remains constant—no matter the season, he’s always there.”

Celaena took a long breath. “So the people of Terrasen will always know how to find their way home. So they can look up at the sky, no matter where they are, and know Terrasen is forever with them.”

The Assassin’s Blade

I’m rereading the series and something made me curious…

Was it ever answered who Ilias mom was?

Reading about him again made me more curious about him because he’s such a cutie pie

Why the hell don’t we see lord Berrick? It is a spoiler? Is he important. Was perrington hanging out ruling another nation while celaena was in training? Or is it someone else? Who is he. Is he coming back in KOA to lead an army against the heros? Is he someone Ansel will have to face again. Like omg who is he…

Sorry but why didn’t you show him to celaena unless she would recognise him…. I just…. I have thoughts!
