Ooo, I’ve got a question! What moment of the Artemis Fowl series hit you the hardest?
Thank you for the ask, and I am very sorry I’m only getting to this now.
The scene in The Last Guardian where Holly confronts Artemis about his plan to go to the gate hits me hard, I think. It's the determination with which Artemis was going through with his plan, the way he’d figured out ways to get around Holly’s attempts to stop him, that makes it so impactful, even more so than his death later on.
Although, the emotional impact of the scene has been lessened on recent reads as I made the terrible choice to act it out in a drama class. Now all I can think of when I read the scene is my awkward younger self reading the lines.
Imagine reading a book about a psychological disease caught by only ancient underground fairies with high-level tech and magic and going “Yes, this guy gets it.”
Let´s imagine how The Atlantis was before being taken by the waters. Check out link for print sizes and pricing. Watermark not present on the final products.
Orion gets social media whilst fronting (against Artemis’s will)
What does he post, what does he do, who does he follow?
Bonus, Juliet finds these and is utterly confused about why artemis-antisocial-fowl has an apparent secret Instagram/twitter/tumblr/Reddit what have you and why every post is uncharacteristic and batshit insane
Remember little Andre Price? The mesmerised baby at Cancun who bit Butler on the thumb? His first words were Gnommish, and he can make twigs burst into flame. I feel like we need to know more about his later life...
Ok, so, Umbrella Academy and Artemis Fowl crossover except it takes place during The Atlantis Complex so Artemis really likes Five for seemingly no reason and Five is very confused because of it.
