We need our doctor. We need Him to bring the healing to heal our souls and bodies:
”On hearing this, Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.” (Matthew 9:12)
Who is the doctor I am talking about? Of course, it's no one else than Jesus Christ our Messaiah. He is the Healer.
”35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.” (Matthew 9:35)
You might think that He was healing people during His life on earth and doesn't do that anymore but I'm telling you, He has never changed. He is the same as He was before. He healed, is healing at the moment and will heal people in the future:
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)
Malachi 3:6 says, “I am the Lord, and I do not change…” (Malachi 3:6)
All you need to do is just believe and trust in His words and keep them in your hearts. Keep that God cares about you and loves you:
”10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. 13 For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.” (Isaiah 41:10)
” The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:14)
”10 Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you.” (Isaiah 54:10)
I recommend you to pray while using the prayer from the Holy Bible. May you be healed infhe name of Jesus Christ
"2 Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— 3who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, 4 who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion" (Psalm 103:2-4)
”Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise.” (Jeremiah 17:4)

Hello! I saw you said in the tags of one of your posts for someone to ask you about Claudine Frollo (she's one of my favorite characters too) so, well...here I am? ;)
wow i’m so glad someone asked me about claudine, i say, having begged for someone to ask me about her.
so first i have to get something out of the way: jehan is on the isle. i don’t know what he does in the movie, since i’ve only seen the musical, but in the movie he *check notes* is kicked out of the church, has quasimodo, and dies. we miss you king. anyway, i’m fairly sure he was doing stuff auradon looks down on. so, on the isle he goes.
he knows what frollo did to quasimodo — his son, who he entrusted to him. so when he learns about claudine he thinks absolutely fucking not. He already ruined one kid, he won’t ruin another. so he approaches frollo, says that with his second chance at life, he’s realized the error in his ways, and wants to repent. it takes some convincing, but frollo eventually lets him back in.
so claudine grows up with her uncle. her uncle who believes in the exact opposite of the church, is very good at pretending, and teaches her basically everything that isn’t scripture.
jehan isn’t able to guard claudine completely, though. she’s still beaten, and starved, and harassed. but jehan gives her food when she’s sent to her tower without dinner, treats her wounds and gives her what pain meds he can, and tells her when her father is out so she can sneak out if she wants, and he teaches her stuff that counteract everything her father teaches her.
claudine grows up to be very rebellious, but she’s good at hiding it. her father is often gone for days at a time, preaching to the isle and probably murdering people. so she can get away with not memorizing one new bible verse a day, or let her clothes be slightly dirty, and she can eat food even if she made a mistake during the day. as long as her father never finds out.
she still believes she deserves her beatings, though. no matter how many times jehan brings her back from the edge of death, or how many new scars she gains, she believes she deserves them. not because she sinned — she doesn’t really believe in sinning anymore — but because she was caught misbehaving. and it’s getting caught she hates most. next time, she’ll do better.
she is not religious, because there are fairies in the isle, and her captain is a demigod, and a Greek god runs one of the only good restaurants on the island, and the queen of hearts may be having an affair with time himself. what are gods, really, when everyone on the isle is so close to power they can’t quite touch? there are only powerful people, and in her mind, none of them deserve that power.
thanks to jehan, her father’s hold on her is shaky at best. it snaps completely when she is 13.
she is 13 when her father beats her, and jehan was out, so she runs to find him. she leaves bloody footprints behind her, and she’s always had a bit of a limp after. she doesn’t find jehan. instead, she’s found half dead by the hooks, who take her to their mother (zarina, who does not live with hook) to heal her.
when she wakes up, she’s surrounded by pirates, and two of whom’s mother instincts kicked in and decided yeah, this is my child now.
claudine officially joins the lost revenge because she only spoke french at first, and gil volunteered to be a translator until someone got around to teaching her english (it ended up being gil, which goes about as well as you’d expect), but she is a hook. they all will protect her.
she’s resistant, at first, but relents eventually. she still goes home, to see jehan, but she mostly sneaks in now. frollo still catches her, either at home or around the isle, and she will be punished. the pirates have taken to sending someone with her when she leaves the ports.
harry is especially good at noticing when she’s been injured, because harriet hides her injuries the same way, and she has the same bad habit of running back to abusive homes. whenever he sees the slightest hint that she’s hurt, he has to force her to accept help because claudine, lass, you’re limping again, and the more you walk on an injured leg, the more likely it’ll have to be cut off, and you don’t want that, do you? he’s exaggerating, of course, but the idea of being deformed terrifies claudine, so she concedes.
her father made her wear her hair up and cover it, so when she joins the lost revenge, she starts to wear bandanas, and lets uma help her find hairstyles she actually likes (to this day, harry and uma are two of the only people she’ll let touch her).
when frollo is mad at her, she’ll be locked in her room without food. she’s beaten (burned and whipped, i’d say), and forced to beg for forgiveness. sometimes, frollo only issues one of these punishments. sometimes he issues them all.
she wears clothes that cover all her skin. partially because she will be called a whore if she doesn’t, and because of her scars. she doesn’t want her scars to be seen, even though everyone knows what frollo does to her. she does have a jacket that was her mother’s, and she’s nearly always wearing it. frollo has yet to destroy it.
speaking of her mother, claudine does not know who her mother is. she was abandoned as a child, left on frollo’s doorstep. all she knows is her father calls her a witch, and she bears some resemblance to the few romani people on the isle. it wasn’t hard to connect the dots from there.
she has a habit of assessing tone of voice when speaking to people, since it was one of the only ways she could evaluate how her father was feeling.
claudine is friends with freddie, which sounds odd, but hear me out: frollo tries to kill most the isle because they’re witches, right? one day, the person he captures is freddie facilier, who likes conning people and talking with the dead. claudine knows her death would start a war with dr. facilier, and freddie is her age, and claudine has been made to watch these executions before, but the idea of watching someone her own age killed is another thing, so she lets her go. frollo never found out it was her, but he beat her anyway.
they don’t talk again until claudine is adopted by the hooks, and cj decides it’s a good idea to introduce the two of them. claudine is still getting used to magic being normal, since so many members of the lost revenge and harriet’s crew have some sort of magic, even if it’s weakened under the barrier. but freddie remembers her, and her father, so she only steals some of her stuff.
i imagine their friendship being something like freddie asking if she can shrink people’s heads, and claudine saying as long as she’s not associated with it, she can shrink whoever’s head she wants. and if freddie is making a voodoo call of frollo? well, claudine sure didn’t see it.
also, she’s definitely gay, but the thought terrifies claudine so much she just ignores it.
anyway. that’s it. claudine is easily one of my favorite characters, and i’m so mad we don’t see her more. she really is a blank character, so i can do whatever i want with her. most of my headcanons come from the fandom’s consensus on her, and also just ideas i like.

“The God Who Heals” By Bayless Conley:
“One of the most powerful and precious names that God ascribes to Himself is the name Jehovah Rapha, translated in Scripture as “the Lord who heals.”
We find God describing Himself this way in Exodus 15:26, where He says,
“If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.”
This is powerful because whenever God says “I am” something, it’s a revelation of what and who He is by nature. And He is, by nature, a healer.
The psalmist describes this attribute of God this way in Psalm 103:1-3,
Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases.
If you believe He forgives all your iniquities, then you must believe His next statement, “Who heals all your diseases.” It is as much in God’s nature to heal as it is to forgive.
If there’s one area where people are searching for answers, it certainly is over the issue of healing. So many people are confused, misled, and missing out on a blessing God intends for their life.
One of the fundamental teachings of Scripture is that healing is conditional. In Exodus 15:26 quoted above, notice that the first word of that verse is “If….”
“If” is the biggest little word in the Bible. And what God tells us in this passage is there is a condition He places on healing…“If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep His statutes.”
Now, God is not requiring perfection. If you’re living for God and not consciously and willfully disobeying Him, then you have access to His healing. But if you’re living in known sin, it creates a barrier between you and God.
The Bible is very clear on this when the psalmist tells us in Psalm 66:18, “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear.” So one vital key to accessing the healing power of our Lord is to live honestly before God…obeying His Word to the best of our ability and being quick to repent if we miss the mark.
Today, focus on the God who heals. Give Him your heart and trust Him with all of your tomorrows.”
Amen and Hallelujah! 🙏🕊️🙌

You’ve seen or heard this verse so often, you likely have it memorized.
You have heard it used enough to know it comes in handy on some days, but certainly not on the....worst days.
Not when you’ve buried your child.
Or your best friend. Or your parent.
Not when you got the doctor’s call
and there’s no other answer.
Not when your spouse has slammed
the door shut to reconciliation.
Not when your child cannot beat an addiction, Or won’t come home.
Not when you have lost your best job.
Or the house you loved.
Or the friend who betrayed you.
Not when.....
How?
How could one possibly be expected to rejoice? And what does that look like in the times where the circumstance is void of joy?
I hear your frustration. I see the posts.
I know right now a million people are praying and trying and feeling the tight feelings
in their heart, the mind at half mast,
the spirit whimpering.
I dare speak these words of life, for the simple reason it’s easy to forget.
It’s easy to miss the secret.
It’s easy to call out God on something He needs to be doing, while we aren’t really following His direction.
This is the go to positive butterflies and rainbows verse. But the man who penned it for the world to read, was writing it from a dungeon prison, filled with the worst of the worst things a circumstance could hold.
And I would expect him to say anything, but these words!
In fact, I’d be prone to check his sanity.
I’ve found when I’m living this verse out loud, people do question if I’m alright.
Why?
Because they don’t understand the secret. Where’s the secret you ask.
It’s pretty straight forward.
There’s nothing hidden.
You probably missed it on the way
to the next word.
It’s three little words that change everything:
IN….THE…LORD
When you’re now a widow
...rejoice....in the Lord.
When the pain is too great
...rejoice....in the Lord.
When the bills cannot be paid....rejoice ...in the Lord.
When you stand at the casket...rejoice ....in the Lord.
When you feel hopeless...rejoice....in the Lord.
In so many a circumstance,
Joy is not anything we can embrace…..
outside of the Lord.
The secret to bearing all things and going through the unbearable rejoicing, is to do so IN…THE…LORD.
I truly know of no other way.
In ourselves, there’s only so far positive thinking can go, before it wilts.
In ourselves, there’s only so far our own strength is viable for healing.
In ourselves, there’s only so far a finite human can operate well.
At some point, our need for a Savior
becomes the gratitude that saves us from the excessive insufficient self.
It is the same with joy.
Joy is an eternal divine gift from the Holy Spirit, unattainable except.....
IN THE LORD.
It’s performance as it were, is seen it’s ability to be at peace, to not be all superficial humorous or laughing or out of touch weird. It’s a resting in Him through the circumstance. It allows for tears and feelings, but the depth of joy…..in the Lord ……overrides the damp acquisitions.
If I could not speak with authority from the veracity of Scripture, I could speak to you from my own sacred, holy experience.
I have been in places where joy would have never been attainable, except and only through being in the Lord.
Today, your circumstance may seem to be anything but joyful. Go read this letter Paul wrote from prison.
Begin to rest and operate in the Lord, which by the way is a double duty delight as the Lord dwells in you, and you...in Him.
He set us up to overcome.
He equipped us and empowered us to reign here on earth….
in Him.
Now that you know the secret, let it lift you higher. Let it live out itself in the power that brings us the miracle of life everlasting.
Rejoice...in the Lord...always...

pillow talk: iii a joesme flash series | parts (i), (ii), (x), (iv), (v), (vi)
Tumblr media
They’d planned to spend this night together, likely snuggled close under soft blankets after the heady heat and laughter of a few drinks had faded into pleasant, weightless sleepiness.
Joel had joked over the morning coffee she’d brought him about bringing over a pillowcase of groceries in case Esme forgot to pick something up to supplement the wealth of alcohol, tea biscuits, and condiments currently residing in her cupboards. She’d stuck her tongue out at him good-naturedly and made some silly reply about knowing which tomatoes were best for sauces and which were better for cocktails, thank you very much.
That had been before. Now there’s lightness at her ring finger and betrayal bruising violet in her throat.
Esme raises her head just enough from her kitchen table to pour herself another tumbler full of vodka. Her hand shakes, but the bottle and glass are already blurry. At least there’s no one in her apartments to scold her. The groceries she’d had time but not the will to put away stare accusingly from the counter.
“Santri,” she slurs before the vodka peels her memories one layer farther from painful proximity as it burns down her throat. Against her own will and all the odds drained from the near-empty bottle, a memory lurches to the forefront of Esme’s mind: warm hands in hers, the smell of sun-warmed violets, and a low laugh like pure sunshine.
I’ll teach you to toast in the old Aixoisi way.
Joel’s eyes had sparkled in response to her teasing glance. I’d like to teach you to heal even if you didn’t offer. But that’s a fine deal.
Teach me to heal? What an interesting proposition, Physician. Trying to get me to stop coming to you for every little scrape and sorrow?
A laugh that felt like summer. Never.
Liquid hits Esme’s lap in cold, thin drops. Neither the burn of the vodka or the sweet golden spice of involuntary ginger warm her. Not with the way the ache in her gut insists on freezing her from the inside out.
She’s always been lonely here. Of all lessons to learn from Pheles, how to wake up alone was one of the first. Foolish to think that this would have been anything different.
Glass clinks onto wood; the sound is hollow.
Joel inhales and lets himself slouch back into his chair. The sun will be rising soon and he will be expected along with it, but for now he is alone with his thoughts, half a bottle of wine he’d bought with someone else in mind, and a rosary whose cool, well-worn beads cannot clack loud enough to silence the hurt hurricane in his head.
It spins faster, juggernaut thrown between the deep-set ache of a wound that does not know why it was inflicted and Joel’s automatic desperation to prove himself worthy, if not innocent and maledicted. If not good. His hand flexes—not as if into a fist, but to grasp something already slipped away, fingers digging deep into flesh as in the aftermath of missing a rope already swung by.
The sound that rolls from Joel’s throat is not a growl or a sob but a creak; violets and gold burst from his hands in swirls too soft for what he feels. The incandescence of the unspeakable illuminates green glass as Joel reaches out to turn the label of the bottle away from himself until the crimson paper is just a dark shadow through the bottle and its lightless contents.
Even without the label’s pensive cherub staring beseechingly at him, Joel’s thoughts do not quiet. He sips, alternating between the last of the cherry-red wine and the water beside it, and wonders if he will ever learn how to stop bringing things upon himself. If he will ever stop wanting to.
His dearest wishes repulse their subjects, perhaps with their fervency. His ragged sigh flutters against the hand he raises to press to his face, uncomfortably flushed and swollen from an earlier round of crying.
Joel knows his scripture by heart, but it was not verse that taught him that unfettered desire of something corrupts it.
Joel the student, Joel the healer, Joel the man who strove to be the best he could, the man he had needed as a boy—and none of it enough. Good, but never good enough to keep things in his grasp from withering at the force of his want.
He had always wanted a family. Always wanted a child. Children. Had walked with open eyes and arms into wanting the woman whose name he now cannot speak without feeling something sharp rising to choke him like an unholy noose.
The city loves him like a son, but for all his glory, all his radiance, Joel could not keep something from being too good to be true.
They’d planned to spend this night together. Alone, they share instead an echoing and inescapable emptiness.

Welcome to today's pick a card reading. I'll be using two of my decks. The way this works is that you choose one of the options above and get a reading based on it. First I'll start from left to right.
If you choose by gems the first one is kyanite, the second one rose quartz, and the third one angelite.
Pile 1
Tumblr media
Greetings pile number one! Now Kyanite is known as an aura cleanser and I'd frequently use a rough one that looked like a sword to cleanse the aura. You might also be drawn to the color blue frequently. Ah gosh there is something in your chest that you must confess or come out with as the pin almost looks as if they are clutching their heart. Fret not pile number 1 as the flowers are soon wilting as the north enters the season of autumn. Appreciate the journey as you thread.
Tumblr media
These two cards jumped out of the deck while shuffling and one more card from the Keep Calm and Trust GOD deck.
Ritual Beast Tamer Laura is here and I got an image of fire as if you are burning. It's like there are too many things at once and while hard you keep going through the challenge. Lara is also under the tutelage of Ritual Beast Tamer Elder. There appears to be a lot of learning to control your power. Get in touch with nature and go outside. Keep the phone away for those silent moments of tranquility will help you recharge.
Next we have Zefra Path. Ah if it isn't the Kabbalah. Green often makes me think of healing which El Shaddoll Wendi is being beckoned towards. You need a retreat pile number one. You can do this by partaking of activities like meditating, listening to classical music and psalms too.
Lastly we have the bible verse Phil. 4:13 "I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength." Behind it a quote from Charles H. Spurgeon "We cannot always trace GOD's hand, but we can always trust GOD's heart." Pile number 1 learn to trust your heart Communicate with GOD through sacred scriptures and prayer. GOD knows what is best for you. You can communicate with GOD through retreats or a sanctuary but be kind if you enter one.
That is all pile number one, I hope you have a good day!
Pile 2
Tumblr media
Pile number 2, you chose the Rose Quartz. Hee hee hee, the sticker just giggled. You've been waiting for this moment. Rose quartz is often known as a love gemstone. It is quite common and I got an image of a heart rose quartz. It's almost beaming with bliss as it glows.
Tumblr media
We have Spiritual Beast Tamer Winda! Oh and I just got an image of a gust of air. In here Winda has achieved nirvana and is in a forest known as the Naturia Forest. Winda is soft, just like the Glow I mentioned earlier. There is something kind about you pile number 2. While some may call thy actions aloof you know your methods and you care for the well being of others. I feel that your heart is troubling you a bit. Remember to pray to GOD/Source if something troubles you. Oh also tell the person what you have been meaning to say to them.
Reeshaddoll Wendi, formerly a ritual beast tamer and kneeling on top of Spiritual Beast Pettlephin. Hmmmm... this card has mainly signified Yeshua/Jesus in previous readings, the messiah! Connect with Yeshua with what you can. Ve is very loving and a great teacher. You can pray or even read the sacred scriptures to spread the good news. Yeshua beckons you to tell ver your worries and concerns.
Lastly we have the Bible verse Luke 12:30 "Your father already knows your needs" behind it a quote from Carrie ten Boom "Let GOD's promises shine on your problems" Never feel alone as there is always a group of guides watching over you. Connect with them however you can even if you have to give them a name.
Also the season of Rosh Hashanah. If you can practice or learn to fast as it is a custom to fast. You'll be surprised how it will help.
That is all Pile number 2. Thank you for your reading!
Pile 3
Tumblr media
Pile number 3, Ho Ho Ho you've been naughty haven't you? Do your best to be kinder to others and yourself. This pin is like gliding through the air well pleased with themselves, almost prideful. I don't support this story but be kinder as you are currently on the naughty list for Christmas this year.
Speaking of Christmas don't get caught up with the gift giving as it is so much more than just Santa Clause and receiving a gift. It's when we celebrate Yeshua's birth.
You chose an angelite bracelet and gosh do the angels need to help you cleanse from some patterns as they will now. "I don't believe in angels" you better believe they are real. I'd start with the Guardian Angel prayer.
Now onto your card spread pile number 3 and....
Tumblr media
You have Minerva the Exalted Lightsworn. Boooiiii get ready for some coal this Christmas! She's ready to send the Owl towards you and is calling you to partake of religion.
"Why should I, I'm not religious?" Well learn to be religious. I'm not saying partake of just Christian and Jewish customs, practice temperance and diligence in them. Which reminds me.
We have Arcana Force 14: Temperance A reference to the tarot's Temperance card. You can't continue these patterns you have pile number 3. It's not just about posting selfies about yourself on social media. Also I feel you tend to troll people often. Come, learn to pray to the angels if you don't feel like praying to GOD. They are GOD's messengers after all.
Also we have the Bible verse Col 1:11: "May you be strengthened with all power according to His might" behind it is a quote from J.I. Packer "The stars may fall, but GOD's promises will stand and be fulfilled." Pile number 3, learn to be kinder to yourself. GOD gives us the power to rise up in the morning and go to bed at night. Also you need some major declutterring.

Daily Devotionals for May 16, 2023 Proverbs: God's Wisdom for Daily Living
Devotional Scripture:
Proverbs 16:21-24(KJV): 21 The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning. 22 Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of fools is folly. 23 The heart of the wise teacheth his mouth, and addeth learning to his lips. 24 Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and healthy to the bones. Proverbs 16:21-24(Amp): 21 The wise in heart shall be called prudent, understanding, and knowing; and winsome speech increases learning (in both speaker and listener). 22 Understanding is a wellspring of life to him who has it, but to give instruction to fools is folly. 23 The mind of the wise instructs his mouth and adds learning and persuasiveness to his lips. 24 Pleasant words are as a honeycomb, sweet to the mind and healing to the body.
Thought for the Day
Verse 21 - The wise in heart are called "prudent." This kind of wisdom comes from the Lord, who places it in our hearts when we seek Him. There is another kind of wisdom that the Bible calls earthly, sensual, and devilish. It produces strife, confusion, and every evil work. "Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace" (James 3:13-18).
Learning to control what we say is the first step in gaining godly wisdom. God's wisdom is pure, peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, and merciful. It bears good fruit. It is impartial and has no hypocrisy. A wise person is a good learner and listener. Proverbs has much to say about wisdom and understanding; both are increased by the words we hear and speak.
Verse 22 - A fool is rebellious and unteachable. It is a waste of time to try to instruct him. If we take the time to attentively study God's Word, then understanding will rise within us, becoming a wellspring from which we may draw upon in life's situations.
Verse 23 - If we are wise, we will stop and think before we say something. People who just blurt out what comes into their head when they are upset invariably cause damage with their mouths. The wise are able to persuade others to their way of thinking by presenting things in a winsome way.
Verse 24 - Like honey, wholesome words are sweet to the mind and bring healing to the body. Harboring resentment and bitterness lead to harsh words. Cruel words, repeated over and over, can produce physical illness or bring other curses, both to the recipient and the speaker. No one likes to associate with those who have ugly dispositions and who continually voice destructive or even unpleasant things. Two ways to guard our hearts are by being careful to quickly forgive others and by watching what we say. "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee" (Proverbs 4:23-24).
Prayer Devotional for the Day
Dear heavenly Father, we are thankful for all of Your many blessings this day. Lord, we do desire to have Your wisdom. You see the future, so help us to make the best decisions, so that we do not have greater problems tomorrow. Lord, help us to guard our mouths and restrain our lips from any evil. Help us to be loving witnesses of Your goodness and give us the boldness to proclaim the gospel. Bless all of those who touch our lives and keep them from harm. We are grateful to be Your children. Father, we ask this in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen. From: Steven P. Art drawn by @xxnotinmylobbyxx as part of a commission!
This is my Iscariot Regenerator OC named Bishop of Judas. Bishop for short, and not considered informal addressment of him. He has been in service to Iscariot for many, many years. Long enough that his Regenerator powers have waned and he shows changes brought by aging, and his healed wounds leave scars. What’s really notable about him is that he only speaks in quoted biblical scripture as a form of verbal communication.
More info and hcs under cut:
He has to be a lot more careful in battles because he simply doesn't heal as well or at the same rate of others. His movements are often stiff as his body aches with age and the wars its been subjected to.
As said, he only speaks in scripture and quotes from the Bible. None of his words are truly his own. Any other forms of communication are grunts, unclear noises, and body language like nodding or beckoning.
It can be really interesting talking to him because he does do his best to reasonably communicate and express his thoughts/ideas using his limited options. It can get pretty metaphorical and sometimes his words are meant to be taken as literally as they can, but other times they're more abstract and might have to do with the context of the passage than the specific words.
An example is if someone asked him how is his day going and he's content, he would say this verse
"These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full."
To communicate he is well and happy, with the added double meaning that he hopes the other person is just as well as him.
Bishop has claimed many lives over the decades and will continue to do so as needed until the day he dies. He inspires fear in others similar to how Anderson does, but the fear is more grounded in awe of an utmost admirable legend. Like he himself is a true angel worthy of respect and reverence, no matter what side you're on.
Bishop is an elusive figure. Since he's so unusual to most people due to his communication, he doesn't interact with common people much, and it's rare to see him unless you're very higher up and even then, he likes to keep to the sidelines and shadows. However, he was well-known and it makes him very mystifying.
Even Iscariot themselves speak of Bishop as if he is some mythical figure and not a real person you can reasonably meet. He's whispered gossip, a person you quietly beg to hear rumors about so you know more. This is only amplified by the fact that he's not someone you can simply... easily meet. He attends, almost exclusively it seems sometimes, meetings between elites or other high-ranking figures. If he's overseeing a public event, to take post and remain vigilant against threats, he keeps to shadows or places higher up, out of sight, like he is an actual guardian angel looking down. Though, depending on what matters are going on, larger meetings with lower ranking agents may have Bishop in attendance and it's always a cool experience for those who haven’t met him before. Lots of time is wasted in the meeting as people want to pay respects by kissing his bishop ring.
Some bullet points for general info and headcanons:
Bishop carries around a large, old wooden box wrapped in musty leather strands. It's strapped to his back. At first glance, one night think he's carrying around a goddamn coffin until you realize it's too skinny to be one. What's contained inside is his holy silver spear, since he is unable to summon weapons to his side like newer Regenerators. He doesn't like his spear being visible and outside its box without good reason. If he opens that box, it is either because the spear is to either see a good polishing... or a river of blood.
As part of his pre-combat ritual when taking out his spear, he presses his lips to the "t" cross-section of his spear, flourishes it, and slams it into the ground while reciting:  "though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me!”
Despite being out of his prime and his Regenerator enhancements having notably dwindled in terms of his healing factor, his strength, speed, and stamina remain intensely strong assets. Now of course he can't keep up with someone like Anderson who is still in his peak prime and is of a newer generation, but he still decently exceeds what humans are capable of. He makes up for where he falls short by using tactics and whatnot. Sometimes, it's not always about being the reactively fastest and overpowering the opponent. It can simply be about prediction and positioning. Outsmarting someone.
Bishop never draws out a fight or does anything cruel. There's not a sadistic bone in his body. When he fights, his goal is always a swift, simple death and he plans every move around that strike, aiming for the fastest route he can manage. There have been duels before where Bishop appears to not be landing any hits, or whiffs several times before leaping back to return to a defensive play,  until the opponent finally creates that miniscule opening he's been waiting for and working to force out... and in a blink it's over. His spear tip thrust through their heart or there's a devastating whoosh of a blade through the air as he decapitates them.
He does have a partner!!! It's my friends OC named Helena who is also in Iscariot, a kindly supernaturally prolonged long-lived Saint. Honestly I regarded Bishop as unshippable at first but I really warmed up to the dynamic with my friends oc and now I can't see Bishop with anyone else, haha. It's a rather chaste, tender relationship. Epitome of wholesome.
Anderson somehow wound up as essentially Bishop and Helena's adopted son despite him being a whole ass fully grown killing machine lmaoooo. He son now, they declared it.
Bishop is receptive to learning sign language and eventually does use basic signs and sentences, as he watched Helena teach some children, mimicked what he saw, she realized he can sign and it's his own words, and basically yelled in excitement and taught him more. He never adopts full usage of it but he uses it decently enough. The most with Helena, with Anderson second, and everyone else is lucky to even vaguely see Bishop sign. (Also, yes due to how deaf culture and the legitimacy of sign language has been treated throughout history and ableism being rife towards deaf people... I fully believe no on at the Vatican+Iscariot ever thought to try to teach Bishop how to sign).

Matthew 16, Mark 8, Luke 9:18-27
Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible Chronological, I'm China. Today is the 20th day of October, welcome. It is so great to be here with you today. Today we are in the book of Matthew, chapter 16, the Book of Mark, chapter eight, and the Book of Luke, chapter nine starting in verse 18, going to 27. And we continue on with the Modern English Version for this week.
Commentary
So we read the same story consecutively. And honestly, this is a really great scripture passage for a lot of different reasons. But what I really find so fascinating is that it ties in with one of the last things that we read in the Old Testament, if you can remember, about 20 days ago, 21 days ago, we were in the book of Malachi. And it talks about some, like when it's like the foretelling of Jesus coming when he comes, when the Messiah comes. Some will say that he is Elijah. Some will think that he is a risen prophet. There isn't necessarily a prophet speaking about John the Baptist. But what's confusing to me about people thinking that he's John, I'm not sure the timeframe of when John died to when this current moment was happening with Jesus or when people were thinking that this was John. Some thinking, are they thinking that it's John raised I know that's one of the translation said that. Or are they just thinking that it's just straight up John? You know what I'm saying? Like they are just like, well, John and Jesus were around at the same time. Maybe John doubled himself or maybe it was like a holographic version, I don't even know. But the reason why I brought that up is to say why this was so a prevalent question. What makes it such a prevalent question is that there's so much talk of who Jesus is. They're trying to figure this out, right? He's saying things that are quote blasphemous. He's doing things that they were not expecting the Messiah to come and do. He's claiming that he is the Messiah, which is I'm not sure if they were expecting the Messiah to come and reveal who he was and say here I am, or if they were expecting. I don't know. I don't know what fully they were expecting. But I don't think that they're expecting Jesus, especially someone of Nazareth or to be claiming to be the Son of God. There's all these things or to be healing on a Sabbath, right? There's all these things that they're like, these do not check our boxes, as if God had given a checklist of like, listen, this is what to be aware of and this is what not to be aware of. So check for your false claiming Messiahs and this is how you will know to my knowledge that it wasn't anything of that sort. But we have the Holy Spirit that comes and comforts and confirms and upholds the truth. And so we see the Holy Spirit even before it descending, all the disciples in the upper room, we see it being prevalent. And I mean, we read about that. I believe in Proverbs, right, where we read that wisdom presents herself as a female and almost like this intertwining with the Holy Spirit and being present as God was hovering over the waters. And so we see that Holy Spirit was present. He/she/it whatever you want to call, whatever feels true for you. I like to refer as she don't come for me with your theological standpoint, just sometimes it's what feels natural to you. How Holy Spirit has revealed his or herself to you, that's up to you. Maybe we'll get to heaven one day and find out everyone's wrong. Who knows? But anyways, I think this is a great question to sit with, though, because we can sit here and say, if I were to ask you, if we were sitting down, we're getting coffee or tea, and I'm like, who do you say that Jesus is? We would want to have our best written answers, right? We would want to have the best written answers so that we could, like, quote, pass this question as if it's like a test. But really what it is is it's a moment for us to reflect and say, who do I truly believe that Jesus is? And what are my actions and my beliefs in my posture of heart, saying that he is? What I mean by that is, are we sitting down over coffee and saying that he is one thing, but our actions and our faith and our belief is saying that he's a different thing. And breaking that down, dissecting it a little bit further is, are we like, yeah, me and Jesus, we're buddies. He's my best friend, I love him. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah, amen. All these things that when it comes time to believing and trusting and hoping, are we still saying, like, Lord, you are good, and I choose to trust that you are the risen Christ, that you are the Son of God, and I'm choosing to believe even in this moment that you are who you say that you know what I'm saying? Even in those low moments and those hard points, who are we saying that he is? And I know that Jesus is really trying to ask them a little bit further, more like, I'm trying to get some feedback from you guys. You guys are the ones following me the closest here. Everybody else is just trying to piece this together. But of course, like, you're watching this firsthand. I'm discipling you, teaching you, stewarding you, and I'm curious what you think. And it is revealed to Peter who Jesus is. And in some translations, Jesus is like, yes, you could have only known that unless my Father in heaven revealed that to you. And he must have. Great, let's keep walking and he says, upon this I'm going to build my church, upon this rock I'm going to build my church, and the gates of hell cannot prevail. And that's a big deal. And so kind of going back to the question that I was talking about earlier that really Jesus asked. I think it would be important for us just to have a moment of reflection. To actually think about who am I saying that Jesus is. Whether it is my written answer. But then also like with my words. Thoughts and deeds.
Prayer
So Father, I just pray that as we enter into a moment with you, God. I pray that you would just bring things to mind that we are needing to be convicted of. Whether we are claiming one thing and saying another with our actions. God, I pray that everything would just align with Your truth. And I thank you that when we seek you, we find you. And when we ask for Your presence, we are just aware of the fact that You've already been with us. And so Lord, I thank you for Your goodness and for Your word and Your truth that covers us and preserves us. And I pray that we would just have some quiet time space with you to really process out who do we say that you are, who are we believing that you are? And just to reflect what our actions and our faith and our trust, maybe it doesn't lie. And God, I pray that it would continue to strengthen and to grow even more. And if it doesn't, God, I just thank you that you're meeting us where we are and that you are showing us how to look more like you. And one of My favorite things in the Bible, God, we believe that help our unbelief, and so it is in Your name we pray. Amen.
Community Prayer Line
Hi Chronological family, this is Chris from Indiana and I wanted to stop this morning and pray for Risa from Florida. It's Saturday, October 15, and I heard your request this morning and I understand and feel your concern. My son is 20, so I completely understand what you're feeling and going through and have had similar battles and know what it is to have family that's going through this. So Jesus, we come before Your throne right now and I pray in Your mighty name, Jesus, that you would just heal Reese's, grandson of this suicidal thoughts that he's having. Jesus, I pray that you would bring someone special into his life that would be able to speak truth and encouragement to him. I pray that our prayers would above and beyond, go beyond the thoughts that he's having. And Jesus, I pray that he would feel selfworth and that he would feel love and that he would feel value. I pray God, that you might make some counseling available to him to where someone could shed some light into his life and hope. And Jesus, we know that you can overcome. And even this morning in the devotionals, if anybody has gotten this far, you are casting demons out. And I pray in your name, Jesus, that you would cast these demons of doubt and fear and worry and anxiety that are causing him to want to harm himself out of his body at this moment. And I pray that Risa would start seeing some differences. And we will praise you in advance, Jesus, for all that you do. We love you, Jesus. We thank you. Hope you all have a good Saturday
class, one moment. Thank you all. I love you all so much. Have a blessed day.
Good morning, family. This is Kim from Kentucky, and it's Saturday, the 15 October, and I'm just out walking my dog and looking at the beautiful fall colors that our Father God has painted for us. And I'm hearing your prayer request. I want you to know I'm praying for your sons and your daughters and your grandsons. And this year the Lord has prompted me to fast more. And I just want you to know if y'all would join me in fasting. According to Isaiah 58 six, God said, is this not the fast that I have chosen to loosen the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yolk, to let the oppressed go free, to break every yoke. And I hear that in your prayer requests for deliverance from oppression and demonic spirits and lying voices and just health issues. And I don't think we've got to it yet in the Gospels, but Jesus said of a demon spirit, this kind only goes out with prayer and fasting. And so I've added fasting regularly to my prayers because he gave me those words. We're fighting for our sons, we're fighting for our daughters. We're fighting for our houses, our sisters and our brothers. We're fighting till we see revival in the streets. We're fighting till the enemy goes down in defeat. We're remembering our God who is great and who is awesome. And we stand and we fight for ourselves and all others, for we know he has called every family by name, and we know that his will is for all to be saved. So, yes, I'm praying and I'm fasting for deliverance in Jesus name. Love y'all.
Good morning. D-A-B-C. Family, this is Rodney from Atlanta. It just hurts my heart. And I guess I'm not really surprised how the enemy is coming after our young people, the next generation. I heard the request of a grandmother from Florida of our 19 year old grandson who has been put on suicide watch. And I want to pray for that young man. Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus, you are our God and you are our Father. And you said that we could come before you, come before your throne at any time. God, we need you all the time. Lord, I lift up this young man before you now, God, I pray that someone would come his way and begin to minister life until this young man satan, you are a liar. You are yet defeated. I come against those dark thoughts that you're trying to place in this young man's mind, God. I think, Lord, for life right now, Jesus touches mine with your nail scarred hands. And I think, Lord, right now that you are going to do it. You want to cause this young man to rise for you. Send Your word you come that we may have life and have it more abundantly. So, Father, I declare life with this young man. I declare you erase them up and use them for Your glory. He becomes a great testimony for the kingdom of God and Satan would have lost again. I plead the blood of Jesus over his heart, over his mind and comfort, even his grandmother in Florida now. And God, we thank you and we praise you that it is done. In Jesus mighty name we pray amen. Amen. And amen.
Hello, DABC family. This is Diana from Florida and I want to pray for Michelle Ellison and praying in the desert. Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you and we lift up Michelle Ellison, the wife of a pastor in Atlanta who is in critical condition in the hospital after receiving a stray bullet in the head. Dear God, I pray in the name of Jesus that you would heal her, O Lord God, that you would use the medical professionals mightily to restore her, Lord God, and hopefully bring her to a place where she is stabilized. Her father in Jesus name, I pray for this church community. I pray for her husband that you would bring comfort to their lives in this moment of mourning for her life. I pray that they would continue to pray and have hopeful god, you can do a miracle. I also pray for praying in the desert. Father God, she is crying out to you for restoration in her marriage. Her husband is not a believer. And I want to pray that you would use her to show respect and kindness, to demonstrate a submissive and quiet spirited response to him and in this, O Lord God, be able to win him over to salvation. I also pray the Lord God, in the name of Jesus, that she would get help, that she would find either a therapist or people in the community that can help her handle any verbal abuse that she is experiencing. And Father God, that in the name of Jesus, that they would be able to lead her and give her God the advice as to how she should proceed in her marriage in order for them to I pray for restoration, Lord God. In Jesus name, amen.

Look at It and Live
And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.
These are the words we hear today in our Gospel lesson.
And in our reading from the Book of Numbers we hear the scriptural story upon which Jesus bases this statement.
This Numbers reading is powerful and quite worthy of our consideration. For, after all, we are told that Jesus must be lifted up just as this serpent of Moses was lifted up.
Let’s consider the story. The children of Israel have been freed from Egypt and are wandering in the wilderness. They are unhappy. They’ve become impatient with their travels and have begun blaspheming God and condemning Moses for bringing them out of Egypt to starve. They also complain about the miraculously supplied bread from heaven (manna) saying: “We detest this miserable food!”
Well, a plague breaks out consisting of poisonous snakes that bite and kill the Israelites with their venom.
Now, If we resist the temptation to see the story as one involving Israel’s disobedience and God’s resulting punishment, I believe something much more insightful can be gained.
Impatience, dissatisfaction, wanting for things to be other than how they are, these comprise Israel’s mood, Israel’s attitude. And what arises out of this attitude? Poisonous snakes. A death-causing evil emerges that slithers along Israel’s pathways biting ankles and infecting souls. It brings death.
So, they ask for forgiveness, assuming they’ve done wrong and need external, Godly correction.
And here’s where it gets really interesting. God doesn’t just say, “Give me 100 push-ups, or sacrifice 20 goats, or paint the lentil over your doors with blood, and all will be well. No, it’s not that easy. What God has in mind, I think, is much harder. Here is what God prescribes in verse 8 and 9.
And the Lord said unto Moses, make a poisonous serpent, and set it on a pole; and everyone who is bitten shall look at it and live. So Moses made a serpent of bronze, and put it upon a pole, and whenever a serpent bit someone, that person would look at the serpent of bronze and live.
Look at it and live.
You see, when we wander from God, we strive no longer to live into ourselves as God’s children, but rather, seek for things to be other than how they are; we want them to be how we would fashion them.
And from this self-promoting attitude, we bring pain and suffering upon ourselves, represented in our story from the Book of Numbers as poisonous snakes. They bite and kill us.
And how does God suggest we find healing and life again?
Look at it and live!
Become aware of the snakes of your own creation. Hold them up to see and look at them. Don’t hide them. Keep them high and gaze upon them, remembering your origin and identity in God. Anything else leads to death.
I sat in a palliative care family meeting at Norton DT Hospital some time back. A family was trying to decide how best to care for their loved one, their father, who was a patient in the hospital. They seemed confused about the medical condition of their father. During our meeting, the primary doctor was describing their father’s health status, when one of the family members just blurted out the question, “ Is our father dying?”
The doctor was somewhat surprised by the sudden question. She continued her description of their dad’s health, then stopped and simply said, “Yes. He is dying.”
The room erupted with emotional crying. But, in a few minutes every family member settled down and thanked the doctor. They all suspected that their father was dying and needed someone to say it out loud. To hold it up to see and accept as real.
Look at it and live.
In this way, this family’s blockage in moving forward in planning their father’s health care was removed. And while the reality of their father’s eventual death remained, their ability to face and live into whatever new life awaited them was made possible.
A few of us watched the film Southern Patriot recently shown at Christ Church Cathedral. I’ve seen the film several times but noticed something this time I hadn’t before.
What Anne and Carl Braden had actually done to anger folks was to help a Black couple, the Wades, buy the home they wanted, which happened to be in a white neighborhood. That was what they had done. Yet, they were taken to trial for sedition, because a search of their home had discovered books written by Karl Marx.
You see, the Bradens had broken an unwritten law that said Blacks can’t own homes in white neighborhoods. But rather than face the truth of the underlying issue prosecutors attempted to make it about sedition and related it to communism which at the time had the whole world in an uproar. You see, they didn’t want to lift up the snake and look at it! The snake of privilege.
People with privilege usually don’t want to name and identify the privileges in their lives. To do so is to risk losing them. And what is life, they think, if not the possession and maintenance of privilege over others.
No, for those with privilege it is better just to ignore it and find ways to silence those who speak of it by drawing attention away from it. For them, the Bradens were seditionists and communists and therefore, must be stopped and silenced. That way they needn’t consider what the Braden’s were actually doing: drawing attention to the fact of undeserved privilege in our world.
And yet, as with the children of Israel, failure to hold it up and look at it brings death.
Look at it and live.
And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.
What do we see when we look upon Christ as he hangs from His cross? How do we spin it? How do we make what we see easier on our eyes? How do we turn Christ's ultimate gift for all humanity into a privileged possession for a few?
And what do we avoid? Do we avoid the fact that we put him there? And continue to put him there, again and again, whenever we drift away from God in order to place ourselves into more favorable, comfortable positions relative to others?
Let us be brave this Lent and decide to see things as they are and live into our true selves as God’s children, to do as our God commands: And, look at it and live! Amen.

BIOGRAPHY
TW: ABUSE. TORTURE. ASSASSINATIONS. DEATH.
He did not know that he was a Lycan at first, born and raised in Dingle in County Kerry, Ireland, Faolan’s childhood was pretty ordinary; his father was a fisherman and his mother owned a small shop by the harbour, which he would help out in when he wasn’t attending school. One afternoon, he was on his way home from high school when he saw his parent’s shop on fire. He ran as fast as his thirteen-year-old legs could go but the fire was already deeply set in burning the shop down and Faolan believed his parents to have been in there at the time.
He was met on the cobblestone at the front of the burning building by a strange man. He claimed to be a welfare officer, and came to take Faolan in so that he did not have to live a street rat’s life. He told the young teen that he’d be going to a home for orphaned children but, upon arrival there, the place was nothing like the homes for children that he was aware of. There were no windows and only one way in and out; it appeared like the place was underground from what he could make out.
He kept himself silent at first, walking behind the man who’d taken him from his home. The further he walked into the building, the more he could see that children not much older or younger than himself were training to fight. Whilst academic lessons were still taught, you were also taught how to fight; how to brandish weaponry that when it came to some, he’d never seen before in his life. Was this his life now?
He was still grieving his parents for the first few months and so, took himself to hide in whatever work was needed to be done for him. Years were spent with him quickly getting known to be the lone wolf as he refused to get to know another within the base and instead, focused himself on being the best that he could be. As his eighteenth birthday came about, Faolan was finally sent out on his first mission. It was a relatively easy in, kill and out again, but what Faolan nor HEAVEN knew, was that his eighteenth was also the triggering factor for the Lycan gene that had until then, laid dormant within his body. The mission was under the cover of night. At first, the sky was filled with clouds and Faolan thought nothing of anything but, as he got into the building and began to advance on the target, the moon came out and shone into the windows of the building. The pain of that initial change was excruciating and even years on, he can still remember how it felt like all of the bones within his body were shattering and how it felt like his skin was on fire. The target was still taken out, albeit in a far bloodier way than was initially planned, but with his shift, HEAVEN found their new weapon.
Faolan would go out on other missions with other agents, but higher targets were left until the full moon, leaving Faolan enduring the pain over and over again just to do their bidding. He never argued, however. In fact, he continued on, getting the highest kill ratio in comparison to other agents of his age and level. As a result, Faolan quickly got himself promoted throughout the ranks and became one of their Angels.
Angels were the ones in charge under God; they trained the other agents and put them through their paces before deciding if they were ultimately ready for active duty or if they should be decommissioned ( Oh yeah, everyone has a kill switch within them; implanted into the cerebellum ).
His new Lycan ability meant that his ageing was a lot slower to advance in comparison to humans that came through HEAVEN’s gates. It also meant that he remained there for a considerable time. That was until he met his match with two agents ~ Anastasiya Zakharov & Lien Xao. He was their trainer for a long time and got them into active duty but then they managed to escape and got free of HEAVEN’s hold. Faolan faced being decommissioned for losing them both but, he’d long since tampered with his switch, or at least, his shifting had snapped it, something he’d never let on about to the others. He faked his death as a result and was tossed with the other bodies that were to be sent for burial in an unmarked grave.
It was a location known only by a select few and Faolan had been one of them. He waited until he, along with other bodies were tossed into a pile ready to be put into the grave then, as the diggers were taking their break, he made a run for it. He thanked his Lycan side for giving him the ability to run a lot quicker than what he could ever remember as a boy and vanished before the diggers even noticed.
He couldn’t take himself back to Ireland after everything, even with all of the years that had passed. Instead, he took himself to America, quickly forging himself fake identities to get himself places, along with getting himself contacts that could help him set up a life there; one where he wouldn’t have to worry ever again.

"The Orphans." From Surah 6, Al An'am, the Cattle.
Tumblr media
The Son of God and Son of Man were brought into the world through the Virgin Mother for the purposes of reteaching the Torah to a new world. Orphaned by man are persons who live in a world that is unrecognizable according to the Words of Moses.
The Quran says "Give the Covenant full measure and be just, this is My Path" AKA "follow my detailed instructions."
Mankind has decided to ignore all three Godheads, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad and act like a bunch of psychopaths. What kind of humanity wants to do this?
6:152-159:
And do not approach the orphan's property except in a way that is best until he reaches maturity. And give full measure and weight in justice. We do not charge any soul except [with that within] its capacity. And when you testify, be just, even if [it concerns] a near relative. And the covenant of Allah fulfill. This has He instructed you that you may remember.
And, [moreover], this is My path, which is straight, so follow it; and do not follow [other] ways, for you will be separated from His way. This has He instructed you that you may become righteous.
Then We gave Moses the Scripture, making complete [Our favor] upon the one who did good and as a detailed explanation of all things and as guidance and mercy that perhaps in [the matter of] the meeting with their Lord they would believe.
And this [Qur'an] is a Book We have revealed [which is] blessed, so follow it and fear Allah that you may receive mercy.
[We revealed it] lest you say, "The Scripture was only sent down to two groups before us, but we were of their study unaware,"
Or lest you say, "If only the Scripture had been revealed to us, we would have been better guided than they." So there has [now] come to you a clear evidence from your Lord and a guidance and mercy. Then who is more unjust than one who denies the verses of Allah and turns away from them? We will recompense those who turn away from Our verses with the worst of punishment for their having turned away.
Do they [then] wait for anything except that the angels should come to them or your Lord should come or that there come some of the signs of your Lord? The Day that some of the signs of your Lord will come no soul will benefit from its faith as long as it had not believed before or had earned through its faith some good. Say, "Wait. Indeed, we [also] are waiting."
Indeed, those who have divided their religion and become sects - you, [O Muhammad], are not [associated] with them in anything. Their affair is only [left] to Allah ; then He will inform them about what they used to do.
Commentary:
The reason the Quran was written was to provide a historical and philosophical analysis of human progress towards enlightenment. The verse says, "so you would be informed about what they used to do."
Well informed or not, we have decided to do it all again, haven't we?
In spite of how we like to think, we are one humanity sharing different parts of the same planet and our behavior, defined by false imaginary boundaries based on imaginary gods is not the very best reason to destroy the whole thing. To create a single recognizable way to justify human worth and the importance of its success on this planet was the other reason God gave Muhammad the Quran.
"...no soul will benefit from its faith as long as it had not believed before or had earned through its faith some good. Say, "Wait. Indeed, we [also] are waiting."
There is no need to wait. All of us know who is behind all of our troubles, and how easily we could put a stop to them and fix the damage we have done and heal the wounds we have gored into each other. The time to do that is now, we are now fully informed: We are not oprhans we have parents, we are parents and duty is calling upon us to act like it.
The United States of America and the Russian Federation are unequal blood enemies. The inactivity of the one verses the evil of the other must be addressed. All free and free thinking persons have to raise their voices against Joe Biden for running from a fight he is destined to win and must win or this world will not continue to turn.
This act of vengeance against Vladimir Putin is the only way redepmtion and religion will have been said to have visited this world and left its mark just as the Quran says, and it must happen now.

Finding Hope and Guidance in the Face of Heartache: A Biblical Perspective
In life, we often encounter moments of despair and heartache, where the path forward seems obscured and the burden feels unbearable. During such times, it's natural to seek solace and guidance, and for many, myself included, turning to the Bible offers a source of hope and direction. In this blog post, we'll explore what the Bible teaches us about navigating moments of hopelessness and finding strength to persevere.
Turn to God in Prayer: The Bible encourages us to turn to God in prayer during times of distress. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Through prayer, we can lay our burdens before God and find peace in His presence.
Seek Comfort in Scripture: Scripture is filled with verses that offer comfort and encouragement during difficult times. Psalm 34:18 assures us, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." By immersing ourselves in the Word of God, we can find strength, hope, and assurance of His love for us, even in our darkest moments.
Lean on the Support of Others: God often provides support and comfort through the community of believers. Galatians 6:2 instructs us, "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ." Don't hesitate to reach out to trusted friends, family members, or members of your church community for prayer, encouragement, and support during times of heartache.
Trust in God's Sovereignty: Even when we can't see a way forward, we can trust in God's sovereignty and His plans for our lives. Proverbs 3:5-6 advises, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." Though the road may seem uncertain, we can rest assured that God is in control and will guide us according to His perfect will.
Find Purpose in Serving Others: In times of despair, shifting our focus from our own struggles to serving others can bring renewed purpose and perspective. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 25:40, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." By reaching out to those in need and sharing God's love with others, we can find fulfillment and joy even amidst our own pain.
In our modern world, secular culture often promotes various methods for coping with heartache, ranging from self-medication with substances to seeking temporary distractions or instant gratification. However, these secular approaches often lead to temporary relief at best and can exacerbate our pain in the long run.
Escaping Through Substance Abuse: One common secular response to heartache is seeking solace in alcohol, drugs, or other addictive behaviors. While these substances may provide a temporary escape from pain, they ultimately deepen our wounds and create additional problems. Instead of addressing the root cause of our heartache, substance abuse only serves to numb our emotions temporarily, leaving us more vulnerable in the end.
Seeking Instant Gratification: In today's fast-paced society, many turn to instant gratification to distract themselves from their pain. Whether it's binge-watching TV shows, mindlessly scrolling through social media, or indulging in unhealthy habits, these temporary distractions offer fleeting relief but fail to address the underlying issues causing our heartache. In the long term, relying on instant gratification only perpetuates a cycle of avoidance and dissatisfaction.
Ignoring the Root Cause: Secular approaches often prioritize masking symptoms rather than addressing the root cause of our heartache. Instead of confronting our pain head-on and seeking healing, we may choose to ignore or suppress our emotions, hoping they will disappear on their own. However, unresolved heartache can manifest in various ways, including physical ailments, mental health struggles, and strained relationships.
Fostering Isolation: In our individualistic culture, there is often a stigma surrounding vulnerability and seeking support from others. As a result, many individuals experiencing heartache may isolate themselves out of fear of judgment or rejection. However, isolation only intensifies our feelings of loneliness and despair, making it harder to find healing and perspective.
Pursuing Hedonistic Pleasures: In a quest to escape pain, some may turn to hedonistic pursuits, chasing after pleasure and material possessions in hopes of finding happiness. However, the pursuit of hedonistic pleasures often leads to emptiness and dissatisfaction, as true fulfillment cannot be found in fleeting moments of pleasure but in meaningful relationships and a sense of purpose.
While secular approaches to dealing with heartache may offer temporary relief, they ultimately fall short in providing lasting healing and transformation. Instead of seeking temporary fixes or distractions, turning to the wisdom and guidance of Scripture offers a more profound and sustainable path to healing. By embracing biblical principles of faith, community, and service, we can find hope, comfort, and purpose even in the midst of our deepest pain and while facing moments of hopelessness and heartache can be overwhelming, the Bible offers us hope, comfort, and guidance to navigate these challenges. Through prayer, Scripture, community, trust in God's sovereignty, and serving others, we can find strength to persevere and overcome even the darkest of circumstances. May we always remember that God is with us, offering His love and support every step of the way.

Seeking God's Wisdom
"The LORD detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him. When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity. Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death. The righteousness of the blameless makes their paths straight, but the wicked are brought down by their own wickedness."1
Proverbs is a mine of wisdom and contains a wide range of life advice. But be warned, it won't always give you the advice you expect.
We are bombarded with supposed "keys" to success: "Seven Ways to Get Rich in the Twinkling of an Eye" or "Ten Methods to Succeed at Work." There are too many suggestions that propel us to the glory of the world. While some are helpful, they do not come close to the depth contained in the book of Proverbs.
God's wisdom is not limited to helping us gain something or make us rich. God's wisdom transforms us. The Holy Spirit-filled words contained in Proverbs produce life and fulfillment in a way that human wisdom could never reach. Why? Because only the Scriptures lead us to God Himself.
Instead of material prosperity, God's Word brings prosperity to our entire being, as it is a transformation at the soul level. God's Word is the best source of life advice. It heals the soul by drawing us to God.
Today's passage provides keys for the workplace. However, it doesn't matter if you're working or not, these three timeless principles can influence any aspect of your life:
Integrity. The Lord approves of exact weights (verse 1). For example, a produce seller who weighs merchandise fairly for his customers. The point is clear: he acts with integrity. Integrity is who you are when no one is watching. Whenever you work, remember what Proverbs says, do it God's way, that is, honestly. Scammers may be able to make quick profits, but they're never worth it. Prioritize your character over your gain and trust God for the rest. You won't regret it.
Humility. Pride is what precedes destruction. True wisdom is found in humility. When we're surrounded by proud people, it's easy to fall into the comparison game and always try to outdo others. Surely that is not God's style. Humility is the true path to success. You know what they say: "Humility is not thinking that you are less than others, but thinking less about yourself." Resist pride, serve others, and marvel at how your life in God's hands progresses.
Fidelity. This is a lost art in our society. Sometimes infidelity is even applauded. However, God's Word is clear: "Unfaithful people are destroyed by their duplicity" (verse 3). Living a faithful life – with God, with your spouse, with your friends, with your boss, co-workers and students – is something that will benefit you over time. Decide to be a faithful friend, someone others can trust. That way you will reflect Jesus, because he is the faithful friend who never fails.
Meditate for a moment on these words: integrity, humility, and faithfulness, and think about how you can use them in your day-to-day life. Ask God for His help and allow His wisdom to guide you.
Suggested prayer. Dear Lord Jesus, help me to live today with integrity, humility, and faithfulness not only in my work, but with all the people around me, even when it seems difficult. Please give me your wisdom to live according to your will and help me make choices that reflect your character. Thank you for your loving guidance in all that I do and thank you also that I know you are with me and care for me. In your precious name, Amen.
Proverbs 11:1-5 (NVI).

FRESH MANNA
UNBELIEVABLE TURNAROUND
Psalm 126:1-6
There are no permanent conditions or problems in life and the world, but only in Christ Jesus, are there permanent solutions and changes. God’s ability to restore life beyond our understanding is what we can call an unbelievable turnaround.
We all cry, desiring a turnaround in situations we face, wondering if God can change our story. Can this situation still lead to a testimony? Don’t worry! God cannot lie, never be late, and there is nothing that He cannot do. Regardless of what you are facing or going through right now, the God of heaven will give you a turnaround.
Don’t stop crying to Him, let your tears become seeds that will grow into harvests of joy because God can bring good out of tragedy according to verse five.
It does not matter how long you wait on the Lord; the answer to your need will certainly come by morning- God’s morning that is.
You can go from ground zero to the top of the mountain in one go. God can turn your situation around but only through faith, hope, and waiting on Him. Like the woman in 2 Kings 4:1-7, we should embrace the revival God brings to us through our faith.
Hannah leapt from many years of barrenness to a moment of fruitfulness, and she was quick to promise or dedicate something to the Lord for answered prayers, her precious son.
What’s that condition, problem, and difficulty that you think is so great that God cannot change or turn around?
You may think you have a situation or issues that are special or different from everybody else but do not worry, God has a unique solution for you especially. He meets everyone at the very point of their needs, He will meet you too. God does not bless you to stress you, that’s the devil’s job as seen in Proverbs 10:22.
Sometimes we are disappointed and disillusioned when we don’t get answers to our prayers, don’t give up, God heard you and answers according to His timing and your faith but when He does answer, it will be better than you imagined.
Unbelievable turnaround is God changing our levels for good in ways that beat our wildest imagination and expectations.
Mary and Martha felt that way but were assured, as we must be too that Jesus feels our pains and knows when it’s best to turn the tide in our favour, see John 11:1-44 and Ephesians 3:20. When Jesus finally showed up, rather than healing a sick man, He raised a dead man to life, better than the sisters imagine and expected.
The Power of God can turn situations around.
Death is the exit from the earth, there is no hope in death, no expectations, and certainly no turnaround. The resurrection of Lazarus is the biggest unbelievable turnaround recorded in the scriptures, to show and guarantee us that nothing is impossible with God according to Jeremiah 32:17 and that whatever our situations, God has an unbelievable turnaround around the corner for us.
God is about to turn any and every situation around for His glory.
He can turn a hopeless life into a fulfilling life.
A sick person into a healthy and whole person.
A weak person into a strong and able one.
A lost life into a victorious life.
An old, tired life into a new and vital life.
A mess into a message.
A test into a testimony.
Trial into a triumph.
Victim into a victor.
God can do anything and everything but fail. He cannot fail.
God does not give things, He gives instructions, directions, visions, and dreams and our obedience to these is what brings the unbelievable turnaround we requested.
The instruction we obey is the future we create!
PRAYER: Oh God of heaven give me an unbelievable and Supernatural turnaround in every area of my life in Jesus' name.
Shalom

Proverbs: God's Wisdom for Daily Living
Devotional Scripture:
Proverbs 10:2-3:(KJV):
2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.
3 The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked.
Thought for the Day
Verse 2 - The riches that belong to the wicked will not deliver them from death. At some point, every man comes to the end of himself and realizes that money cannot buy the things that matter. Riches follow no one to the grave, and there is only one way to escape the punishment of hell waiting on the other side it is through Jesus Christ. He took our sins and punishment upon Himself on the cross. If we repent and accept Him as Savior, we will not face hell, but rather live with Him in heaven. God's original plan for man did not include death or hell. Hell was created for Satan and his evil angels (Matthew 25:41). Men are going there because they are deceived into following Satan's ways.
No man can attain the righteousness which delivers one from hell outside of receiving the righteousness of Christ. This is a sin-cursed world. We are all born into sin. We do not have to remain in sin, however. If we ask God to help us forsake our sins, He will. The only redemption for any of us is in Christ. We must ask Jesus into our hearts and allow Him to live His life through us; then we will have His righteousness and can live an overcoming life. When we accept Jesus as our Lord, death holds no fear for us, because He conquered death and hell by rising from the dead. As His children, we have been given victory over the devil and no longer have to live in fear, sickness, poverty, or any other curse.
Verse 3 - As God's righteous people, our souls need never be famished. If we come with a humble heart and ask Him to meet our needs, He promises to provide. He gives strength to the weary; courage to the fearful; healing to the sick; peace to the angry; comfort to the wounded; guidance to the troubled and the list goes on and on. The world knows nothing about the wondrous things God freely gives His children–things no amount of money can buy!
Many people lose their riches because they are not serving God, who "casts away the substance" of the wicked. Sometimes, through loss, people will turn to God. The Lord does not desire us to come to Him this way, but rather, simply to surrender to His will. When we do, worldly riches will mean nothing to us compared to the riches that we will find in Christ. "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man seeking goodly pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it" (Matthew 13:45-46).
Prayer for the Day
Dear heavenly Father, You truly are the "Pearl of Great Price." We are so glad that we found You. There is nothing in this world that compares to Your beauty! Lord, even the times our lives have been the most difficult, we have never doubted Your love for us, as You have always been there. We may have not always understood certain things that have happened, but we do not have to understand everything. We trust that You know what is best for us, and we know as we yield to You, You will show us how to overcome all the troubling things that confront us. Show us dear Lord how to overcome the attacks of the enemy. Thank you that You deliver Your righteous people. Bless and strengthen Your people everywhere. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
