LAUREN BACALL and HUMPHREY BOGART in THE BIG SLEEP (1946)
"Bogie was and always will be the love of my life. He changed my life. He was so powerful and he was a very sexual man. We both had a lot of sexual energy back then. In any case, you never forget your first love, do you? I reached the heights with Bogie. How could anything ever top that?" - LAUREN BACALL

I was reading an article about the history of fetishes in film, and it started out with a description of "a great bondage movie" which of course turned out to be a "real" mainstream movie, but I knew what it was going to be as soon as they said "there was a private eye tied hand and foot" and that it was probably The Big Sleep, and when it went on "one imperious woman throws water on him, the other kisses him" I went "Yep, that's The Big Sleep."
It's a very memorable scene!
