Pacios knew Elizabeth Short when she was a child and recounts stories of her in this 1999 book. I love how it focuses on who Bette was and her happy memories. It’s nice to see accounts of her from the perspective of a little girl (Pacios) too- I think as young girls we all had that one older girl we knew in our lives that we looked up to.

Something I've noticed at the 3 tbdm shows I've been at since he passed, is the outpouring of memories shared amongst the crowd, all of us had plenty of wonderful Trevor stories. Funny, heartwarming, and heartbreaking all at the same time. Trevor was such a strong pillar of our community, and his reach was expansive, encompassing many subgenres of metal.
