One of the fun things about rereading the Tintin comics as someone who's older is realising just how much the injuries are downplayed
Like I'm halfway into The Black Island and already Tintin has/should have a grazed rib, a severely injured ankle (I.e. almost broken), grazed elbows, blisters, a bruised and grazed chin, bruised back, bruised (maybe grazed) knees, rope burn, several hundred scratches, several lumps/bruises on his head and about SEVERAL BURNS
FOR GOODNESS' SAKE CHILD I HAVEN'T EVEN FINISHED IT
Tintin in black island (which is already his highest injury count*) rly just grabbing those unknown electrical cables and walking along running them Through his hand without ever checking if they’re live or having any idea how much power they might be carrying 💀
